Thank you so much for taking time to do this. These lists are so helpful!

    • Cassie

Does anyone in greenville/mauldin have a cvs they like to go to? I'm gonna get some stuff and I have a certain bi-lo that i like to go to because they're so coupon friendly so I figured I'd ask.

      • Vgwagoner

The one on Laurens Road near the fire station is great. They will push through ECBs to print if any issues. All will re-ring transactions if coupons dont go through correctly. I have been nothing but pleased with them. They do both weeks circulars all day on Saturday.

        • CADgurl1

The one at the corner of 291 and E. North Street is very coupon friendly as well.

        • Cassie

ty! I’ll keep that one in mind if I ever need to do a saturday run.
I have social anxiety and while it’s under control I have found with couponing that if I don’t take my time and I don’t have a coupon friendly cashier I end up having a panic attack in the parking lot afterwards. It sounds silly I’m sure but I’m at least finding ways to get around it and save money at the same time.

      • Jacketfan24

The one on Pelham Road is pretty good also. I have never had any issues there.

        • Cassie

          thank you!

      • Tammy H

I stopped at the one on Pleasantburg-near Bloom and BiLo (near 85) for the first time a couple of weeks ago-Evidentally they don't have a lot of couponers because they cashier was very excited when my total came up to 85 cents. She and the manager were both there and were super friendly and excited-I will definitely shop there again!

        • Cassie

thanks! That one is super close so I'll probably try them and will try the others that have been recommended if they don't have everything i need :)

    • ScottK

Awesome week! Lots of stuff we need and love (purex especially) at great prices! With two cards, we can get 10 more bottles of purex for $1.65 each instead of regular price $6.99!!! Last time I stock up on them was when there was a bogo coupon and they were on sale for $3 at another store…that plus $5 off $25 coupon made for a years worth of laundry for $8!!

      • Mommysauls

where do I get the $5 of $25 Q ?? Wow Purex must be great stuff ! looks like I will be stocking up too ! THANKS!

        • Nikki

Mommysauls, you probably already know but just incase, scan your card every time you walk into a CVS, thats where the $5 off $25 comes from. Sometimes it's $3 off $15 or whatever. They have been very generous with these lately so sometimes I just pop into CVS to scan my card even if I'm not buying anything!

          • Saeweardsmith

You know…I used to get a ton of these but I cant even tell you the last time I got a 5 off 25, etc. I get so upset when the person in front of me in line gets one and they forgot they even had a CVS card…and will probably never even use it!!! I do scan the card at the coupon scanner just in case….maybe I will get one soon!!

            • Sandy

This is one of the reasons I love Rite Aid– guaranteed at least 3 $5/25 a month. There's no guessing and crossing your fingers for an email or a coupon that spits out of a machine. I have twins and going to CVS once a week is difficult enough, going to just scan my card is pretty much impossible!

            • Saeweardsmith

I understand! I have twins also! (2 in Dec.) I just started Rite Aid….and you are right! I have done the past 2 weeks and LOVE them! I still do CVS…but I find that in the last 2 weeks…I have gotten way more things I use everyday at Rite Aid! I feel like CVS is always toothpast, eye solutions and body wash!! But I still stock up on these too!!! Gotta love them both!!! What are are you in? I am in Lexington, SC.

            • Amy

Me too!!! I used to get them every time I scanned my card but I have not seen one in months. I wonder if they give you a lot when you start CVSing to get you hooked?

    • Mommysauls

$5 ECB WYB (4) Lysol or Airwick items LIMIT 2

Does this mean that you can get the $5 ECB deal twice on the same card?? so buy 8 in order to get $10 ECB??

      • Hannah050603

        Yes

        • Mommysauls

          thanks =)

          • Nikki

            woohoo!

            • Mel

I wouldn't do both in the same transaction. You will probably have to do two transactions. 4 products in one and 4 in the next.

            • Someday273

You should be able to do both in the same transaction. The only thing is – you will get 1 – $10.00 ecb instead of 2 – $5.00 ecbs doing it separately.

    • momof3

I couldn't find the store coupon for the tylenol precise…Is it hiding from me?

      • Ultrashell

I found it under zip 37404. Good luck

      • Joysews

Hit the “see all coupons” on the left and then look through the pages. I found it that way.

      • Honeysmith

        Look for “Precise” not tylenol

    • Amy

I am so glad that both the current week and next week are good weeks at CVS. I teach at the school where you will be doing the workshop tomorrow, and I keep talking to people about coming and using the website. Some are a little skeptical, thinking that they don't have time and it won't be worth. They almost don't believe me when I say you can really get stuff for free. I can see that they think there is a catch. I keep forgetting to show them an actual receipt that has the total as 66 cents or something like that. I can't wait to see them change their minds after you explain it tomorrow!

    • Samantha White

The link for $1 off Aqua Mist is messed up, at least on my computer. It says:

“We're unable to support coupon printing on your system at this time. The Coupon Print Activator is supported on Windows Operating Systems 2000, ME, XP and Vista when used with Internet Explorer 6.x, 7.x and 8.x and Firefox 2.0 and 3.0 and on Mac OS X and above when used with Safari 2.x and 3.x or Firefox 2.x and 3.x browsers.

Coupon printing is not supported under Linux, Unix or Web TV platforms. Coupon printing is not yet supported under Windows Operating Systems using Firefox 3.5, Google Chrome or Safari 4 or for Mac OS X using Safari 4.”

      Whatever all that means…..ARRRRGGGGGG.

Has anyone else had this problem trying to print the coupon?

      Thanks,

      Samantha White

      • =Nani=

you're probably using google chrome? i was, so i copied and pasted the link on explorer and it worked for me :)

        • Amy

Me too – I copied to Mozilla and had no problems!

          • Doitmyselfmom

I've tried copying and pasting into Mozilla and Windows Explorer and always get the same message! I have missed sooooo many deals! Do they have any other way of getting those coupons?

            • Honeysmith

              I commiserate. Same for me!

      • My guess is that your computer is operating on Windows 7. The ecentives coupons that this is run through doesn't support windows 7 yet.

      • Kim

My computer gives me the same message. Can anyone help?

      • Emily

I keep getting that same message too. I have printed other coupons from the Home Solutions News on this computer with no problems. I tried using Internet Explorer with no luck. Any one have any other suggestions?

    • Debracaring

I have a question: Does anyone know what the price is for Nivea Body Wash? Thank you for keeping us all informed it is so helpful.

      • Freedomspradley1

I think it varies a little from store to store but I got the women's for $5.99 ea and the men's was $4.99 ea. Don't forget the men's Active3 will not count toward the nivea deal this week because it has it's own ECB deal. There is also a nivea lotion with a -$3 coupon but it's $7.49 ea.

        • Samplesfun

hiee…regarding nivea lotions ..will it be that price will vary ?

          • Michelle J

            What?

            • Samplesfun

I wanted to know if anyone is aware of the price of nivea body lotions? As understood from above freedomspradley1 says they are 7.49 …i was wondering if that price also can vary?

            • Freedomspradley1

I think prices vary on everything in the store from store to store. You can guestimate when planning on the price of each item and then you might have to switch up your plan once you get in the store and see the shelf/sale price.

            • Angela

Nivea lotion was priced at $7.99 two weeks ago in Clearwater, FL.

    • Wixx

I sent an email to highoctaneenergy.com (clicked the contact us link) and they sent me a B1G1 coupon

    • tommyp

Heads up on the Kraft cheese $5/5 coupon (link in Grocery section)… I got 2 coupons with the link Jenny posted last week. Almost didn't try this week's link because I got 2 last week. But I got 2 more with the link above! Give it a try.

      • catalinacrazy

Wow! Thanks for the tip–it let me print 2 more also! Yay!

      • Donnatavo

Thanks! I wouldn't have thought to try again – I got 5 free sour cream with it last time. Waiting till I can get 5 free cream cheese next time! :)

      • dweeb

yippee, me too! that makes my day :)

Thanks!!!! Since I got 2 last week, I wasn't going to try it again….I just got 2 more! Yeah!

      • Katkoupon

I have never tried to freeze dairy products before, do any of you freeze cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, or any of these on these things on the Kraft coupon??? Just wondering how well they keep in the freezer.

        • djk

yep! I freeze lots of dairy items: yogurt, cheese shredded and block, sour cream, and butter. I forget how long you can freeze each b/c we go through those items so quickly. Just “google” which ever item you want to freeze to see how long that item can stay in the freezer. Then use a sharpie to write on the label when you froze it.

        • carrie

Did this with shredded cheese a few months ago and I haven't had any problems.

        • Jbush27

With sour cream and yogurt it comes out a different consistency then when you bought it, but cheese is great frozen and thawed.

        • Katkoupon

          Thanks you guys!

    • Jcjjshaull

When I tried to print the Purex coupon it said I already had and I don't think I have…

      • jessc5

        Same here…bummer!

    • Teacher792002

Hey, does anyone know where the Tresemme coupon is on Facebook. I just went on FB to look for it and could not find it. Thanks.

    • KIDZRYOURLEGACY

We live in an area with common regional changes in the coupon inserts. So we've missed out again..Airwick Aqua mist were not in our papers. boo who!
….any one know where I could pick up a couple?

      • Michelle J

the coupon clippers . com. I've also found lots of good people selling coupons on ebay.

        • KIDZRYOURLEGACY

          thank you! appreciated.

      • NBASSHELTON

    • Kpatcamp

Yeah! The $5/5 Kraft product coupon must have reset because I printed 2 more off today!!

      • Nikki

Just read that Kraft shredded is $2 at Walmart right now, buy 5 and use the $5/5 and you get 5 bags for $5! Gonna try it and will also print more of those Q's, thank you! (anybody know any other good Kraft deals?)

    • Nikki

I wanted to remind CVS shoppers that their summer seasonal is 75% off!! I got a ton of stuff for my kids yesterday for $10!! My Son's bday is next month and these are going straight into goodie bags. I also got the $3 off $10 grocery from the scanner and thought I would try to use it on this stuff and it worked!! You never know what's gonna beep and what's not so just try it.

      • Lucy

Please don't use coupons on items other than for what they were intended — the coupon was meant to be used on “Grocery” items, not summer seasonal items. It doesn't matter if the coupon beeped or not — it was clearly not meant to be used on non-grocery type items. Intentional misuse of coupons hurts us all in the long run. (And, unfortunately, it could get your CVS cashier in trouble for accepting the coupon on those non-grocery items.)

        • B.

The cashier at my CVS told me I could use the $3 for $10 on anything, not just grocery.

          • Guest

This problem use coupon as it says. so it right if I ask the cashier if it ok on a gift card if they let me?

            • Ginger

              Definition of GROCERY
              1. plural : commodities sold by a grocer

“Grocery” covers a wide range of items. The stores know what they consider to be grocery.

        • Brooke82

Everything is sold as a grocery item these days. Have you seen the grocery stores lately? They have toys and everything.

        • I agree about not using q's in ways that they were not intended, BUT my dad was the 'grocery manager' (as opposed to dairy manager, produce manager, etc) of a Kroger affiliate for over a decade. 'Grocery' definitely referred to seasonal items. Just because we think of groceries as food items does not mean that CVS does. I would say we should ask the CVS manager which sections of the store they inventory as 'grocery' if we want to use the q's as intended. HTH

          • Guest

I have and e-mail from CVS saying what the coupon was good only on grocery which they defined as food item and not milk as not allowed in many states on milk.CVS think of grocery as food items I got a few coupon books in the mail from CVS has expanded there grocery item section in more than half of there store. this is what the coupon was suppose to be used. its a shame that we all think is ok if we ask the cashier who make 6 and hour if it OK on makeup? which is the wrong to use the coupon.

            • Amy

I agree that coupons should not be used in the wrong way. However, the coupon itself does not say 'food items only'; it says 'grocery.' Everyone else does not have the email that you received. Therefore, it is up to the store, whether that is the manager, cashier, or cash register, to determine what they consider 'grocery'. I asked the cashier if I could use it on Purex and Nivea. She said if the register takes it, then it is fine. The register did take it without beeping, and I was very happy to have an extra $3 off an already great deal. Please don't judge others for something that is up to interpretation, like the term 'grocery.'

        • SusanStauffer

I asked at our store, and the clerk said it was fine to use on anything, because just about anything CVS sells can be purchased at a grocery store.

        • Guest

I agree with you. This why we see less coupons like these as people these companies are not dumb. they are one step ahead of us.

      • Keisuzi

Wow, I had one of those $3 off $10 Grocery q's from the scanner, too. It was good for one day only so I had hubby stop on the way home from work and the cashier wouldn't let him use it on MILK! She said milk is not “grocery”….????

        • Jennifer

I used mine on 4 gallons of milk and didn't have any problems at all.

        • Lori

That cashier must have issues, b/c milk is a grocery item!

        • macboy

I know that CVS and Walgreens don't let you use your rewards on “dairy.” It also lists things like stamps, gift cards, etc. It's because they don't make money off of them. That's probably why it didn't work, even though it is a coupon and not an ECB

        • SusanStauffer

Since when is milk not grocery?? I used my $3/10 coupon on milk. It was great!! We go through a ton of milk, so that was a wonderful coupon for our family. I bought 2 milk, 4 sobe, high octane energy chews, and the wisk detergent and used that coupon…and of course used EB's to pay for them.

          • Guest

I have posted before it depend on the state as some state is is against the law to have milk coupons. many state restrict the price of milk. For example when i lived in PA. Thas is why some people haven't been able to use it on milk.

        • Wanda297

Keisuzi — My mom and I had the same problem. My mom wanted to use her $3 off $10 on Candy Kisses and the clerk told her – she couldn't use it because it was candy – not grocery. I wanted to use mine on the Sobe and Dove products and because Dove is beauty products and not grocery – they wouldn't let me use mine either. This is in Mansfield, PA. I went to Sayre PA on Friday got another coupon fromthe machine and used it on Sobe and candy.

    • Lucy

Here's another scenario with less $ out of pocket and more product to show for it in the end:

      Transaction #1

      4 AquaMist @ $2.50

use 2 B1G1 free coupons and 2 $1 off coupons

      $3 due, receive $5 ECB

      Transaction #2

      Tylenol Prescise $5.99

Nivea for Men Body Wash $4.99

Use Precise $2 manf. coupon & Precise $2 CVS coupon, Nivea $1 manf. coupon

Pay with $5 ECB from Transaction #1. $.98 due receive $4.99 and $5.99 ECBs

      Transaction #3

      Alive Multivitamin $9.99

      High Octane Energy Chew $1.99

Use $1 manf. coupon for Alive vitamins. Pay with $4.99 and $5.99 ECBs from Transaction #2. $0.00 Due. Receive $1.99 and $9.99 ECBs.

Total oop $3.98. Earn $9.99 and $1.99 ECBs

      • Lucy

My mistake — you only receive a $2 ECB from the Tylenol Precise. So, Transaction #3 you can opt to not buy the High Octane Chews and your transaction would look like this:

        Transaction #3:

        Alive Multivitamin $9.99

Use $1 manf. coupon. Pay with $4.99 ECB from Nivea Body Wash and $2 ECB from Tylenol Precise earned in Transaction #2.

        $2.00 Due. Receive $9.99 ECB.

Total for entire Scenario: oop $5.98, Earn $9.99 in ECBs.

        • Nicolecaroline1023

          Good call. :)

      • Nicolecaroline1023

Great senarios… except for in transaction#2 you can't use 3 coupons on 2 products, you would have to pick up an additional cheap item. (Can't use more coupons than there are products being bought.)

        Thanks for the ideas!

        • Freedomspradley1

CVS doesn't count coupons like Walgreens. You can use use 2 coupons on one item (store + manf) plus ECBs.

        • Mandy

Not at CVS! ECBs are like cash, not coupons ;)

        • Nmollohan

I believe you can since the coupons are a $2 Man. Q and a $2 CVS Q. You can stack…

    • NBASSHELTON

WOOHOO THANX FOR SHARING!JUST GOT 2 MORE Q'S FOR THE KRAFT!

    • Nicolecaroline1023

Anyone else having trouble finding the cvs q for tylenol? Can't find it on the cvs site link above.

      • kashlea1

        I found it under Healthcare.

        • Meghan

I guess it must be gone…can't find it there.

          • Amy

The precise patch? I just printed one about 30 seconds ago.

            • carrie

same here, I think it was on the 3rd page of coupons. It was the one on the top right.

            • Meghan

Okay, one more time. I don't know why I can't find it, but can you tell me exactly what you did. Thanks so much…coupon dumbie here!

            • Honeysmith

It says Precise an further in the description says Tylenol-look for “Precise”

            • Meghan

Thanks so much for being patient with me!

        • june

look thru all of the coupons. The Precise was not with the other cvs coupons, it was mixed in with the regular coupons.com ones. I was using 63366 for the zip if that helps.

    • wendyc33

    • Lisa

Anyone know anything about the American Express pre-paid cards? It's $5 EBC's for purchase of 2. Wondering if there's a minimum limit on how much has to go on each card and if there's a fee. Would be an easy free $5 if there weren't!

      • Lisa

Called myself and they say there is a $3.95 activation fee for a $25 card.

      • carrie

These things (at least at Publix, so I assume at other stores as well) usually have an activation fee of about $5 per card. So, in essence, this deal pays for part of that activation fee for each card.

    • Mrg1205

Question.. I signed my card up for emails for the $4 off $20.. but where do i get the coupon now?

      • Jules1018

They should send you an email with a link to print out the coupon directly from your email

    • Heather

Question on the ECB – can you have multiple ECB deals on the same shopping trip? For example if I get the ECB for the tylenol precise and then buy the Air Wik products – will both ECB print out at once or do I need to keep going back for each deal?

      • Earodman

Yes, you can do them all in 1 transaction and they will all print out at the end of your receipt. Or, you can do multiple transactions, and use the ECBs that printed out in transaction #1 to help pay for transaction #2, etc.

        • Heather

thank you so much! saves me a lot of trips.

          • Vgwagoner

FYI – Separate transactions do not have to be done in separate trips.

    • macboy

On the Alive! Vitamins. I went to their website to see what they were since I've been using One-A-Day (or their generics) for years. Their website doesn't have CVS as a dealer in my area. They only have Whole Food and some local health stores as dealers. Have you guys seen these at CVS, or should I assume that since it is in the upcoming sales paper, they will be ordered for at least this upcoming week? I'm in Orlando.

      • macboy

Well, nevermind. It's on CVS's website. I plan on getting the Nivea Men's Body Wash for free + $1 profit and the vitamins for free + $1 profit for now.

      • Caroline

Walgreens had alive vitamins free a few months ago

    • Webby

There is a -.60/1 Pepperidge Farm Distinctive Cookies coupon and it has Milano pictured, so that must mean they are distinctive…and only 40 cents! Please save a couple (3 to be exact) for me ;)

      • Katkoupon

Sorry, didn't reload my page before I posted :)

    • Katkoupon

Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies $1 ea…if applicable, I have MQ 75c/1 off PF Distinctive Cookies (possibly from 08/01 Sunday paper)…25c cookies would be great!

    • busybee

Does anyone know if you can use the Publix “put clean in your cart” coupons at cvs? Would they be considered store coupons?

      • macboy

If the coupon says “manufacturer's coupon” but there is a store logo on it, it should be able to scan anywhere. However, if it says “store coupon” or in the case of Publix, has an L.U. number, then it is only usable at Publix or stores that take competitor coupons.

    • grisy

where is the tresseme coupon in facebook?? I can not find it! :o(

      • Bigswampmonster

I can't find it either. I could get the Fresh Start one from the other link, but that isn't what I want.

    • Jeckelann

I went to the pepperidge farm web site under news and offers and printed $1.oo off coupon. hope everyone finds that.

      • Lcobb

I keep getting an error message when I try to print this Q. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

      • Jeckelann

I opened the page and had the same message. Have know idea.? I printed mine yesterday. sorry. will try to find another link

      • Myracash66

It want let me print the Q. It times out before it loads. :( Will try again later.

      • steph_rnld

The coupon for the cookies? It is for a greater than 3 oz package and the ones on sale for $1 are smaller than 3 oz- 2.5 oz or something like that. Was so disappointed!

    • Lisa

Regarding Transaction #1 with the Tylenol Precise Patches, I just got back from my CVS and they wouldn't let me stack both the coupons, even though one said manuf cpn. and one said store cpn. She said the fine print said only one coupon could be used per item and it made the register beep.
Just a heads up in case anyone else has that problem…maybe it would have worked if I would have purchased other items as fillers at the same time? Has anyone else had a problem?

      • Sarah

If I'm using 2 coupons for one item, I usually always have to have a filler item, because the register will beep and the associate will freak out….so I just avoid the hassle. Usually it needs a manager override if there's more coupons than items.

      • Chele17rene

I cant even find the cvs coupon on their site !

        • Chele17rene

Never mind I found it under healthcare. Not sure what I was even looking @ the first time!!! LOL

          • Sogladhelovesme

I STILL can't find the store coupon for Tylenol!!!! arghhhhh

            • Jlward79

It is kind of hard to notice- “Tylenol” doesn't show up very well. It is a white box that says “Precise.” I used zip 29445 and then on the left of the screen clicked healthcare- it was on the 3rd pg.

            • Qpon88

Click on store coupons and you can find it easier. the store coupons say cvs on top.

      • Jakki L.

Call CVS corporate. I have done that in the past and they will call the store and set them straight as to CVS's coupon policy. You can use 1 manufac. and 1 store on the same item.

      • Amy

I did it today with not problem. You shouldn't even need fillers(although I did have other items) because it doesn't bring the total to below zero. It comes to $1.99 and then you get the $2 ECB.

      • Qpon88

I didnt have any issues using both.

    • New Coupon Lady!

When I buy the “Air Wick Scented Oil Refill $2.50” can I use both the coupon for a Free warmer unit (when you buy refill) AND the $1.50 off any warmer when you buy a refill?? Or do I just have to pick one coupon?

Wasn't sure how that worked when you're getting an item for free — if you can still put a coupon towards the free item. Thanks!

      • sww

i think you can only use one, because if you used both the price of the warmer would be -$1.50, and you can't have a negative price on an item. i'm not sure though, i'd love to hear what everyone else thinks too!

      • wendyc33

you can use the free warmer coupon and use a coupon for one scented oil refill, but you cannot use a coupon for the free warmer. so if you have a coupon for the 1 scented oil refill you can use it too. I will say that i have only seen 1.00/2 scented oil refill coupons. Hope this makes sense. You just cant use a coupon for the freebie item like the warmer.

      • Qpon88

I bought warmer x 2 and refill x2, then i used the coupon x2 on free warmer and 2x 1.50 on warmer and 2×1.00 on refill…got $5 back so made it almost free. But I bought a more items so I would not go in the negative.

    • :)

8/1 smart source has 75cents off one packeage pepperidge farm distinctive cookies

    • cyndy

I might sound dumb! but pls help! i went to cvs today…and to my surprise i got a second $3 off $10 grocery…..i jsut wanted to ask u guys if i can use this towards buying nivea body lotions? plsssssss help!

      • Brooke82

I would ask the store clerk. That's the only way of really knowing. Apparently some stores aren't letting people use them on everything.

      • Amy

I asked today, and they said it's good for pretty much anything. I used it on Purex and Nivea.

      • Ladsanford

I was told Friday that it was only for grocery items on aisle #20

      • Rachel

I asked tonight and the manager (very coupon friendly) said that it was for pretty much anything on the Grocery side of the store, excluding body washes, etc.

      • cyndy

thank u all…i wll ask..if i am lucky may be i can use it!

    • Jane

Sigh.. the Aqua Mist wasn't in my paper either. This happens so much. I feel very left out.. :(

      • Jane

I buy the Tennessean by the way.

      • kjmiller

I've got 3 of the Aqua Mist B1G1 that I'd trade for some La Croix water coupons! I'll post something a message in the “coupon traders” on Southern Savers homepage if you or anyone else might be interested.

        • wendyc33

what is that lacroix water like? Ive been wanting to try that stuff.

          • kjmiller

It's great. Sparkling water (w/ natural lime, lemon, berry, etc. flavor) but no calories, sugar, artificial sweeteners, colors, and sodium free. Very refreshing. :)

        • cb

was the La Croix in a certain paper, I would be interested in trading with you
          cb

          • kjmiller

You can link to the available ones through the coupon database (link upper right hand corner of this page). Then please just reply to my post in the Coupon Traders section (lower right hand corner of this page). Thanks!

    • Melanieplynch

I've only been CVS'ing for a couple of weeks now, and can I just say how addicted I am to this way of shopping now? I'm not going to go into the nitty gritty details of what I bought today, but I got $113 worth of stuff for $6 oop after sales, coupons and ECBs. I got home, spread it all out on the counter, and with an overly-dramatic wave of my hand, asked my husband how much he thought I bought all of it for. When I told him $6, his eyes flew open and he is now extremely concerned that I've taken up shoplifting as my new hobby.

      • Nselvidge

Makes me giggle. I totally understand the overly-dramatic wave. Congrats!!

      • Eae1959

        Hysterical……..

      • NSBsaver

Oh, Too Funny… That's Great!! I am familiar with that same, concerned look…

I am hooked on this way as well, I had to buy deodorant for my husband with no coupons or sales and it was torture!!! I was tempted to make him use a spare Dove under my sink until this week……LOL!!!

        • Taradiane99

It KILLS me to pay full price for stuff I know I can get for free/nearly free! lol

    • Grace

I made 5 trips to the cashier at CVS today – Total cost of items would have been $79.40, after $68.43 in coupons, ECBs and buy one item-get one free, my out of pocket (without tax) was (drum roll please!!) $10.97!!!! I feel GOOD!! There are usually one or two items I keep, but most of these items will be donated as usual. This is soooo much fun. Almost all my shopping trips of any kind are usually less than half the original total. Thanks so much Jenny for teaching us–

    • Mandy

In reply to Lisa's comment below, I also purchased the Tylenol Precise with the 2 coupons (1 CVS, 1 Manuf) & the register also beeped. Luckily, my cashier pushed the coupon thru, so be aware. She originally told me only 1 coupon was allowed, but I politely told her that one coupon was a CVS coupon & the other a manuf. Be prepared & be polite ;)

      • Ladsanford

cvs acce[pts store coupons and manuf. for the same item?

        • Yes, they do.

          • Arbyrd

I had a very frustrating visit to CVS with the Tylenol Precise coupons. You can clearly read on the coupons that one is manuf. and one is retailers and even says on it “redeemable only at CVS” and the cashier would not take both. I politely explained what the policy states and he would not listen.

Its so incredible frustrating when the store employees dont know their own coupon policies!!!!

    • $savin'some$

i just got back from CVS and was shot down with the 2 coupons for the Tylenol Precise as well. I didn't have a filler though so I will try again tomorrow. I was also told ECBs don't print out on Saturday for sales starting on Sunday (even though the sale prices are already in effect). Is that right?

      • Melanieplynch

That doesn't sound right. I completed my whole purchase for the coming week's sales today and received all of my ECBs with no problem. Do you have another CVS in your area you could try?

      • Rachel

All of my ECBs printed tonight except the Brach's Candy Corn and when I pointed it out, the manager immediately printed a $1 ECB and handed it to me.

        • Kim

The Brach's is a 3 day sale for only Sun. Mon. and Tues. and those sales do not start early on Saturdays. Just like the Philips headphones from a few weeks back, we had to wait until Sunday to get the ECBs so you are lucky to get the $1 from the manager. The $1 will print today through Tuesday.

    • debbie

I do not see the CVS coupon for Tylenol Precise. Any suggestions?

      • anhoover

the link took me to cvs website. it was on the last page for me. good luck.

        • debbie

thanks, guess I overlooked it the first 2 times.

      • Jane

I found mine on the last page.

      • Rachel

There were tear-offs attached to the display on the same row of my store tonight. Hope you find them! If not, I have a few extra.

    • guest

will cvs take a catalina from wags

    • Jamie

I went to CVS tonight and got a $3 off $10 grocery and the cashier would not let me use it on 4 coke products??? I didn't have the energy to fight with her about it but that just doesn't sound right…

      • Tarlee

I used it on Sobe's – seems to me like Cokes are a “grocery” product….

      • Melanieplynch

That is such bunk! I used it on 4 packs of Coke today. I'm finding out that cashiers can seriously make or break your CVS shopping experience. Don't know why there is such inconsistency.

      • TinaO

I've gotten that coupon 3 times…using one tomorrow. But, I got Dr Pepper products the 1st time and Sobe waters the 2nd time. It's definitely grocery.

      • Beth

I got that same Q last night and used it on the 3 cokes for $12. I did not purchase anything else. no problem.

      • I got one last night. I bought 8 Sobes & 1 12pk Sprite. I then had to buy a 33¢ candy too get my total up to $10. I used $3 off coupon and 4 BOGO sobe coupons. I paid a total of 65¢, including tax.

      • Nashon

My cashier said the same thing. I bought 3 emerald peanuts and 6 sobes and she said that is drinks and snacks not grocery. Also, She rung my bogo for sobes up manually and only credited me 1 dollar insead of the 1.59. I had no one to complain to she was the manager. GRRR made me mad.

    • Tiffany

      use: 2- BOGO aqua mist, 2- $1/1 aquamist, $1/1 nivea, $2 cvs tylenol q, $2/1 manufacture q

      total after q's: $9.98

      pay with $9.99 ecb

      get back 5ecb, 4.99ecb, 2ecb

net gain after both transactions: 2.99 ecb

And with my mom's CVS card (she is always so lucky and gets lots of $3 off $15 cvs coupon from the machine):

      Trans 1:

      1 tylenol precise 5.99

      1 nivea men's body wash 4.99

      1 brach's candy 0.99

total after q's: $4.97 (assuming they modify the $3/3 q's)

      pay with $5ecb

get back 2 ecb, 4.99 ecb, and .99 ecb

      Trans 2:

      • Melanieplynch

      • Myracash66

        Great! Where is the $3/3 J & J products Q?

        • Myracash66

Found the Q, but it says baby products, will it work on the first aid kits?

        • TIffany

I think it was in the SS 8-1 or 8-1 and it says $3 off any 3 baindaid, purell, neosporin, or J&J red cross items

    • Feather724

made out like a bandit at my oneonta CVS this morning….90% off select summer merchandise…Igloo CUBE cooler…$1.90, Barbie $.75, BBQ grill $1.90, Match lite charcoal $.74 per bag…these are to name a few….purchased over $100.00 in merchandise and paid a bit under $14.00 stopped at a couple other cvs's on the way to trussville..most did not have it marked 75% or 90%, but if you ask, It did ring up at the discounted price…picked up an IGLOO cooler on wheels for $8.75 originally $34.00!!..I LOVE MY CVS!!

      • Lucy2778

I was also able to score a couple of kids toys for 90% off. I only saw these sales at one CVS, I'm wondering if maybe in the other stores the stuff is not labeled but will still ring up on sale…

    • Tara

I have a small dilemma. I had to have abdominal surgery a few weeks back and wasn’t able to get out and about for my deals. I had been working on the $20 rebate for Olay products when you spend $50. Prior to my surgery, I had already spent $31.28, but when I returned to the rebate form, I was disappointed to see the “purchase by” date ended. Rebates have to be post marked by the 17th, so I
was wondering if anyone, by some chance, has any receipts dated from 7/23-9/3 for Olay facial moisturizer, facial skin treatment or facial cleanser. I only need $18.72 more for the rebate. I would be happy to exchange coupons for help in meeting the rebate requirements. You may have already seen my post in the coupon trading forum, but I didn’t have much luck there. I appreciate any help I can get. My email address is taradiane99@yahoo.com. Thank you!!!

    • chrystalm

Is the limit on purex 3 or 5 ? In the add in Charleston, SC it says limit 3.

      • Kim

On the Purex bottles it says limit is 5. I am in NC.

    • kiwimum

      heres a deal scenario
Buy the anti-aging eye roller for $18.99
Buy 2 Olay moisturizers totalling at least $11.01
Use coupon in 9/12 insert for free eyeroller
Use 2 $1 coupons in 9/12 insert for 2 moisturizers
Go to the link below for $10 rebate with $30 products
Get $6 ECB with eye roller
      Possible money maker!!

    • Debra

Question? Does cvs tax the total before your coupons are scanned? Any help is appreciated.

      • sarahcas

They do in TN for manufacturers coupons. I can't remember if they do for CVS coupons. I'm not sure if it is the same in every state or not, though.

      • Lori

It varies by state, but I believe most states is tax on the total before coupons.

    • Sdjacobs2006

There's also Starbucks Coffee 12 oz for $6.99 with a SS q for $1.50 off. A good price!

      • ashley

today at my cvs at the coupon printer i also got a $1 off starbucks coffee coupon too, so hopefully you can have the same luck too, its a 1 day coupon thats good for tomorrow( in my case anyways). GL!

        • Amy J.

I got the same surprise when I scanned my card at the red printer…….nice deal on the Starbucks w/ that Q and the Mfg $1.50 Q!

        • anna

the best deal off the red box q was the travel size chocchips that I got a $1off and they were on sale for .59 so I made .41

        • wendyc33

I used that 1.00/1 starbucks cvs coupon today for the ones that are on sale this week for 1.50 each. so i paid .50 for one. I also got a 1.00/1 absolute divine cvs cookies , and used that one and got them free.. I also got 1 nivea body wash, 1 tylenol precise, and used my 7.99 ecb, got back 7.00 in ecbs.

          paid oop 1.31. Love cvs

          • Amy J.

Wow! Which starbucks is on sale for $1.50 this week? I still have the $1.50 off one starbucks mfg Q's, so that would make them free.

    • alibcat

There is a coupon for a free Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Roller WYB 2 Olay moisturizers in today's paper (it does not state that the moisturizers need to be Regenerist). Can I use the free coupon with either the $5 Olay Regenerist P&G coupon or with 2 $1 Olay moisturizer coupons or with the Buy Total Effects moisturizer, get Total Effects Body Wash coupon? I think there may be a deal there with a free Eye Roller and $6 ECB, but am not sure which coupons I can combine. Thanks for any help!

      • kw

i just did this deal tonite. I bought 1 Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Roller (sale $18.99), 2 Olay Complete moisturizer (sale $9.99 ea.). Used free Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Roller WYB 2 Olay moisturizers and 2qty $1 Olay moisturizers. So I pay $19.98 + get 6EB +$10 Rebate. Don’t forget to get your $10/$30 purchase @ http://www.olay.com/PublishingImages/offers/rebate/june302010/crossbrand/10_Olay.com.pdf

      • melissa

Don't look at the pics, read the words. They'll put highest priced item in pic. If coupon doesn't specify it has to be a specific line, then you are fine. :)

    • MCoupons

At my cvs in Atlanta, the Renu MultiPlus Solution rang up at $7.49 instead of $7.99 and the Nivea for men body wash was packaged with a free travel size body wash. Got to love even more savings!

    • Amy J.

Great trip to CVS today……although I could have broken down the transactions and spent less OOP (didn't feel like it…..seems to be the norm for me the past few weeks…LOL!), i got about $72 worth of merchandise for $18.09 OOP and got back $29.97 in ECB, so I'm happy :-)

    • cyndy

At my cvs…the airwick aqua mist $1 beeped…duno y….did anyone face same prob?

      • nsw

I had problems at two stores. At the second the manager was standing nearby and approved it but they told me not to expect them to honor the use of a b1g1 and another q in the same transaction again and that if I went to another another store I wouldn't be able to do that.

        • Nita Royal

In this case, the store manager was generous. Using the $ off, with the BOGO is the same as using 2 mfg q's.

          • 3monkeysmom

The BOGO coupon is for the FREE item and the $ off is for the one you're paying for. That's only 1 coupon per item. Perfectly legit :-)

            • melissa

              Legit?? I”m not sure…
ALL 4 of those q's say “limit one coupon per purchase”
Does that mean “one coupon per transaction” or “one coupon per item purchased?”

            • 3monkeysmom

I've always understood that to mean “one per item,” and I've never had any trouble using multiple coupons that have that wording :-)

            • tygirl13

There are multiple purchases in a transaction. If they intended transaction, they would say transaction.

        • toni

Beeped for me too, but they pushed it through. I''ve never had a problem using two at Rite Aid and didn't used to have problems at CVS until a few months ago. It always works at Publix also. So what he told you about not being able to use them together at another store is definitely not true.

        • tygirl13

On the “unofficial” coupon policy that I got from CVS, it specificaly states “When you are purchasing two items, you may use both a BOGO coupon in conjunction with a manufacturer's coupon (for a dollar amount off)…The system logic seens two items scanned and will allow two coupons.” I keep a copy of the email with me for “ammunition” in case I encounter problems.

      • Pinkandblackcrazy

my coupons went through fine they did not even beep it is supposed to be you are using the B1G1 on the free one and the 1 dollar off the one you are paying for

        • Susanizanurse

ditto for me yesterday… I did the deal twice & had no beeps or problems whatsoever..

      • i did too.. i dont understand why it beeped. It was weird, when they rang up the 2 $1 qs and then the b1g1s it only beeped on the last b1g1… when they rang the b1g1s first, it didnt ring either of the $1 ones…. I cant figure out what the reasoning was….

      • Kdt5512

They told me at my CVS that you could only use 2 coupons when the BOGO was a store offer. Since the BOGO coupon applied to both products the $1 off coupon couldn't be applied :(

        • melissa

The aqua mist should have rung up at $2.50 each, and used one of each coupons below for each bottle if buy 4. bottles.

          2 B1G1 free's
          2 $1 off's
But they all said “limit one per purchase”
My cashier tried to say that this meant one per transaction, I told her no, one per item purchased. She had already processed all but one of the $1 off's so I still made money, but not happy about my trip. I have the hardest time with CVS

      • Jennifer

Same thing happened to me. They wouldn't let me use it with a BOGO. It was still free so no big deal but a money maker would have been nice!

    • Nita Royal

4 free Air Wicks – If you have the BOGO Q's for the aqua mist spray, they are included in the 4/$10 deal. Pay $5 OOP, get back 5 ECB's. My house is going to smell great ;-)

      • Lori

        The BOGO Q's are 1/transaction. :(

        • Nita Royal

That's a new one – my CVS's have never limited my BOGO's -I had 2 of the Q's, and bought 4, so it worked out great.

        • Lucy2778

You can actually do two transcation and still get your ECBs if you use the same card. You'll get the ECBs on the second transcation.

    • Pinkandblackcrazy

the cvs in fairburn, ga is being a little crazy with the candy deal they are not going to even put it out until tuesday it is just sitting in a box in the store room and they are not selling it yet that is kind of a pain

    • Nita Royal

Hershey 8 pack minis = 27 cents each

The coupon printer is giving $1 off 2 packs of Hershey candy. With the 3 day sale of 77 cents each, it's a great deal.

      • Taradiane99

My Hershey coupon was for the larger bags. :(

        • Mcleodsc

My coupon from the red machine was for the larger bags.

    • Thecastelfamily

I skimmed comments below sorry if this is a repeat but I can't find the lysol wipes coupon… anyone have any luck with that one?

    • joanna00

Woo! Thank you, guys, for posting about the summer clearance! They had Green Works products marked down to $1, and Glade reed diffusers (sheer white cotton scent) for $1 – originally $9.99! I scooped the diffusers up, and they will make great gifts for my co-workers!

      • tygirl13

I love it when people post clearence stuff on here!!! None of the three CVS that I go to ever put up tags. But everytime that clearance items get posted on here, I go to my store, scan the item on the red box and “lo and behold” it is on clearance!!

    • Lottieann

Just had to share… I went to a CVS in Braselton, GA today and there stuck to the coupon/price scanner thing-a-m-bob was a printed note that said for more coupon savings go to http://www.southernsavers.com….. Loved it! You rock Jenny!!!!

    • Kdt5512

There's a $5 coupon for the Osteo Bi-flex in the 9/12 Parade Magazine from the Newspaper

    • Debra

I did pretty well today at cvs. I bought nivea mens body wash, 4 bottles of aqua mist, 1 brachs bag of candy, 1 tylenol precise, 1 high octane energy chews, and 2 single rolls of cvs toilet paper for oop of $2.57 and saved $34.00 and have 4 ECB left to use next week.

      • melissa

were you able to do the deal Jenny suggested for the Aqua mist?

        • Debra

          Hi, Melissa

I was very lucky on the aqua mist, I got the last 4 on the shelf. I do have trouble finding most things I want on sunday, I guess alot of people must shop on saturday night. I shop at the cvs in west cola, sc. I did get my $5 ecb on this purchase to roll over on my other purchases. I didn't get my 4.99 ecb back on my purchase of nivea mens body wash and had to point it out to the sales clerk and then he printed it out for me.

    • macboy

My CVS didn't have any Alive vitamins in stock, and didn't appear to sell the Men's version of it at all. SEXISM!!! j/k

I'll try another CVS I pass on my way home from work tomorrow….

      • Amy J.

Yeah, I only saw the Alive multi-vitamins for “50+” and “Women's” at my CVS…..good luck finding the Men's!

    • melissa

OK, so I went to try the Air Wick Air Mist deal Jenny suggested…but I have a question…during scanning, the cashier pointed out that the $1 off coupon says “limit one coupon per purchase…”
I explained manu limit usage to one manu q per item purchased. She argued that this wording meant only one coupon per this transaction. Then she hit total. She'd already processed both B1G1 q's and one of the $1 off q's when she mentioned this. So my total of $4.60, plus the $5 ECB back, I still made profit, but did anyone else try this?
Am I correct or was she? I honestly believe that this was just saying one coupon per item purchased..but maybe not?

      • Amy J.

Come to think of it, I did the same transaction today, and I handed the $1 Q's to the cashier first then the B1G1 Q's. The last B1G1 Q did not want to scan (register beeped….strange), but the cashier entered it manually anyway.

I agree with you…..the wording means one coupon per item purchased, NOT per transaction as the cashier said. If I may suggest, next time this happens, maybe ask for the supervisor or manager……well, at least the mgr at my cvs is a couponer too so she's very knowledgable.

        • melissa

I thought about it, but since if I was wrong it meant losing the FREE stuff, (lol) I didn't wanna chance her returning my whole transaction.
I was also teaching a coupon class in just an hour and I needed to hurry! haha
I was just hitting each store one time for a great deal to get a “rewards” to show what they looked like (wags RR, cvs ECB's etc)
But looking over comments, looks like others had same prob too.

        • Tracey

I was told by the store manager in Loganville, GA that there has been a change to the BOGO policies at CVS that is going in to effect this week. she stated that you could no longer use another coupon when you use a BOGO coupon and they will no longer take BOGO coupons when they have a product that is already BOGO (like on the Sobe waters) She was a little snippy with me when she said it and she stated that it was because there were too many of people like me that thought they were getting over on someone when we do that.

      • tygirl13

You are right. There are multiple purchases in a transaction. Some coupons do say “one per transaction”, if the manufacturer intended for only one coupon to be used they would have said “per transaction”.

      • millie

sounds like she used to work at walgreens..;)

        • Lucy2778

Hahaha, I totally agree. Walgreens drives me crazy. I try to avoid it as much as possible, but had to send hubby last week for the clinical deodorants. I gave him two $2/1 coupons that were printed from my black/white printer. The cashier was very nasty and said she cannot accept the coupons because they are copies. Thankfully he persisted and got the deal, but I was so mad. I have never had problems using printables at CVS. I think Walgreens is trying to push away all of their customers.

    • melissa

My CVS has the cover girl make up B1G1 50% off..anyone else?

    • wscooby

Hi, just got back from cvs, the nivea ecbs were on buying a total of $15 of products, so I didnt use my q for this or buy at all. Still got some great deals, thanks jenny. But does my cvs have the sale labeling correct on nivea?

      • melissa

match it up against your local ad to be sure…my Air Wick Aqua mists weren't labeled and I almost didn't buy them…but in fine print of ad it showed they were included

        • wscooby

thank you will, look in the ad to make sure.

      • Amy J.

There are two CVS stores in my area. One store always has their ECB labels on just about everything in the ad, but the other store RARELY has any of their labels up on the shelves, which can be frustrating, so I usually go to the one WITH the labels up first…LOL!

I'd be willing to bet your cvs does not have all of their labels up.

Also, on the Nivea, there's a second deal this week…..Nivea for Men bodywash “Active 3” 16.9 oz….it's $4.99 and you get back $4.99 ECB. It's a separate deal from (and not included in) the “spend $15 get $5 ECB”. HTH!

      • Lucy2778

I also realized that some CVSs rarely label the deals. However, if something is in the ad and not labeled, you will still get your ECBs.

      • NSBsaver

There are 2 Nivea deals this week….

One on the Mens Bodywash and then one on the other stuff!

      • Mharwell01

Nivea active3 bodywash is $5 get 5 ecbs. Look at the tags carefully. The rest of the Nivea bodywashes are buy $15 get 5 ecbs as you say. Look for the Nivea Active3.

    • a new saver

Can anyone give me some advice? I have gone to CVS the last 3 weeks trying to learn to shop the saving way and they are always out of the items I am shopping for. Last week I went on Monday. Today I went on Sunday! I have gone to the CVS on Hwy 81 in McDonough and the one on Jonesboro Rd. in Mcdonough.

Is anyone in my area having better luck at another location?

      • Brooke82

You just need to ask for a rain check. Even after the week is over you can still get the deal because the rain check never expires. You should ask the store clerk or manager when the truck comes in so that you will know for next time. Also, if you have coupons for the items that you got the rain check for, and they expire, I'm pretty sure that they will still let you use them!

      • toni

I never find anything in stock at the Jonesboro Road location when I shop there. The CVS on Hwy 81 usually has most of the stuff that I want on Sunday or Monday, but not after that. I'm not sure if either of these stores start their sales on Saturday evening. If they do, that might be an option. I'm just happy to pick up rainchecks, though. They never expire. It is a little frustrating when you are just starting and it messes up your scenarios, though.

      • Im not sure where you are located, but we live in mcd close to the newton county line. I run up to the salem road CVS simply b/c the stores in Mcd just dont have a lot of stock.

Not sure if that helps, but I have had good success with that.

        • Kelley

Salem Road is my store. I am less than a mile and stop by there a few times each week. The staff is nice. Have you tired the one at Brown Bridge and GA 20 (new one)? It is very nice and they have good clearance.

          • Kaysmom

I love that store as well, I have always been greeted well and they love taking all my coupons!

      • rumrunner

I went to the CVS on Hwy 138 in Stockbridge (near kohls) Sunday afternoon. They had everything I was looking for. However, the sales weren't marked very well…I had to search for certain things – normally I just look for the yellow tags. The Nivea Mens body wash wasn't even marked with a sale tag….

Also, some of the items rang up the wrong price…but the cashier was nice and corrected everything. I was just glad to see the shelves weren't cleaned off!

The store wasn't crowded at all either.

      • Michelle

My store is always out of the good stuff too. I did learn recently that my store offers rain checks including the ECBs for the items they are out of. I did that a few weeks ago with the Blink tears, but would you believe, I was there today and they are still out of them! Oh well, I don't think there is an expiration date on the rain check, but there is an expiration date on my coupon that I want to use on it!

        • Brooke82

They should honor the expired coupon.

      • Brittanynajarian

Those 2 stores are ALWAYS out! There are LOTS of couponers in that area! We live in covington, and I always have great luck out here. However, on our way home from ELFBC on Sundays, I sometimes stop by the stores you mentioned, and yep, they are always out! All I can say, is try a different CVS maybe the one on 20/212 in Conyers or just get Rain Checks! Or try to shop late on Saturday night, and *usually* the shelves are restocked from the last week. Which is a benefit to you, because you can get the current weeks sales on Saturday night along with the following weeks sales. Does that make sense? Hope that helps! ~Brittany

      • Nancy

Also in the McD area…there is also the CVS in town as you head out Hwy 81 east. You have to go early in th week, and I hit all of them. Sometimes the really good deals don’t last long, but I have had success at all of them at one time or another, even later in the week. Ask them if you don’t see an item on the shelf, sometimes they have more in the back.

    • millie

in one of my smart source inserts from 9/12 there is an olay coupon that says if you buy two olay moisturizers get one olay regenerist eye roller free, up to 19.99 value. it does not say that it has to be regenerist moisturizers it reads as though it could be any two olay…so it would make a great deal with the $6 ECB listed with the eye roller listed above.

      • B Brown04

Have you tried this? If so, did the ECB print?

        • millie

no i am going tomorrow and will let everyone know how it works out, here's hopeing!

        • I did this today and got the ECB. I bought regular moisturizers for 8.79 each and used 2) $1 coupons. Once I get the rebate, it will be all free, though not a money maker.

        • millie

it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the $6 ecb printed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Lucy2778

A trip to CVS made my day today! I love the deals this week, but definitely needed some FOOD! I spent $0.64 and saved $44.51.

Bought 2 cereals, 2 packs granola bars, 1 bag of lollipops, 2 kids toys (on clearance for $0.99 from $9.99!), and 1 body wash. Used $3/$15 CVS coupon (printed from the red machine before shopping), $1/2 cereals, $0.50/1 granola bars, $1/1 body wash, and $10 ECBs from the diapers deal. Total OOP: $0.64, saved $44.51, got back $4.99 ECB from the body wash. I then went back and got two gallons of milk (on sale $2.99), spent the ECBs and paid a $1 and some change. Gotta love CVS!

By the way, be on a lookout for summer toys clearance. Not all CVS stores have the same sales, but I found one in my area that had lots of toys for 90% off. Even if you don't have kids, these make great gifts or things to donate. You can't beat paying 99 cents for a boys workman toolkit that cost $9.99 before :)

    • Liveoak1900

Kind of a generic question here – but is there a specific reason Jenny does not track WalMart? I may be opening a can here – but thought I'd ask!

      • melissa

just not worth it…..wouldn't even get free stuff, much less make profit. :)

      • debra

I read your comment and I don't shop there anymore than what I have to. Walmart is a very greedy company and alot of there employees are very rude. I had an issue in the past with using coupons and was told I couldn't use blinkie coupons and even the manager said no. I tried to explain they were manufacturers coupons. I said the heck with it and left.

        • Brooke82

My Wal-Mart has a cashier that is ALWAYS rude to me as well as everyone else she talks to. I have complained about her several times and she still works there! They care nothing about customer service. Too bad I love going there or they would have lost my business a long time ago.

      • Sandy

She doesn't, but there are other blogs out there that do. For some people it's the only grocery store option they have.

    • Elaine mast

I have a question. I went CVS and wanted to do the Tylenol Precise deal, but the register beeped and the cashier said I could not use the manufactor Q and the CVS store Q on the same item. She was very nice, so I explaned to her that the CVS Q was a store coupon not a manufactor Q. She even went to the manager to ask her and they said no. I thought I was able to use a store & maufactor Q on the same item. Am I right?

      • B Brown04

You are allowed to use both. There are two of these coupons. One is a CVS coupon and one is a manufacturer. They look almost identical. The CVS one says retailer coupon and has a CVS logo in the top corner. Are you sure that you didn't print out the wrong coupon?

        • Mandy

The register also beeped on me, Elaine. Fortunately, the cashier pushed the coupon thru for me, after explaining that I had a store coupon + a manuf. coupon. Sorry it didn't work out for you :(

      • Jules1018

CVS in Rincon said today they are not accepting more than one coupon per item due to recent issues with coupon fraud…I asked about being able to use one store coupon and one manufactor coupon with the tylenol precise and they said “no you can't anymore”~ :(

    • 1stTimeSAHM

Question- CVS has the Nature Valley bar coupon on their website .50 cents…can't I use this with a manuf. .50 cent coupon and save $1 on the box? I'm still learning!!!

      • Mandy

Just make sure the coupon on the web says “retailer's coupon,” once you print, and not manufacturer's coupon. You can always use a store coupon with a manufact. coupon, but cannot use more than 1 manuf coupon on an item.

        Hope that helps :)

        • 1stTimeSAHM

Perfect! Thanks Mandy…and FYI It is a manufactured coupon on CVS website: ( Oh well! Also, quick question…..to get your ECB, must you do several different transactions?!?

          • Brooke82

You do one transaction to get ECB's and then you do other transactions to roll them and make more. I usually follow Jenny's suggestions or I switch it up depending on what I need. It is very helpful!

    • RD

does the limit 2 on the airwick with the $5 ecb when u buy 4 mean u can buy 8 and get $10 ecb? thats 2 deals rite?

      • Brooke82

        Yes that two deals :)

    • BR

FYI – on the Aqua Mist, you CANNOT use the $1 manufacture coupon along with the B1G1 coupon on a purchase. I went in 2 CVS locations this morning and they said that is not allowed. He told me that a customer came in yesterday and tried to use both coupons and when he told her she couldn't she stormed out of the store. Come on people, it is not worth getting mad over!

If you have $5EB (from last weeks) to pay for them and purchase 4, then you are only paying the sales tax. That is great!

      # Aqua Mist, 11.7 oz., $2.50
Manufacturer Coupon -B1G1 Air Wick Aqua Mist, up to $3.29, SS 8/08
Manufacturer Coupon -$1 off Air Wick Aqua Mist Air Refreshener printable
      # **Deal Idea**
      Buy:
      (4) Aqua Mist Air Refresheners $2.50 ea
      Use
      (2) B1G1 Aqua Mist SS 8/08
      (2) -$1 off Aqua Mist printable
      Total Due: $3
Get Back: $5 ECB, you make $2 profit!

      • Nanhancan

I tried to use the $1 off with the B1g1 and the machine beeped. I'm ok with that- just asked to use the B1G1, not the -1. It's still a good deal!

      • tygirl13

Actually, according to the CVS corporate “unofficial” coupon policy you can. I emailed cvs corporate a few months ago and they sent me an email with their rules regarding coupons. It specifically states that BOGO and $ off can be used together on two items. I keep a copy w/ in my coupon binder in case I run into any problems.

      • millie

but i am thinking that the $1 off is for the one you are buying and the b1g1 is for the second one? so you should be able to buy 4 and use 2 $1 and 2 b1g1 right?

      • artlady

Same happened to me just a few hours ago…. I was disappointed that I couldn't use both…but I agree – not worth arguing over $1. Plus, I just don't want to feel awkward every time I walk into the store near my house over 1 coupon, when I know I'm already saving WAY more than I had ever expected. Best to keep a good relation with the store :)

      • Brooke82

What they are telling you makes no sense. If that were the case then why was everyone( and myself) able to use the B1G1 Right Guard deodorant q on the deodorants when they were on sale for B1G1 making them both free? You are right, they were wrong. Honestly, it is worth arguing over because it is your money and they should know the coupon policy.

      • Dixiechickntx

I have used a b1g1 plus other soupons for CVS items before. Last week I bought two Glade oil refills and have a b1g1 plus another q for $1 off and it went through fine.

      • melissa

sounds like maybe you had prob with same wording, same prob i had…all 4 of those coupons say “limit one coupon per purchase”
I believe this means per item, but their system seems to think it means per transaction

      • Kcobb79

I'm in FL, had no problem using all 4 coupons this morning. :)

      • Susanizanurse

I did this deal yesterday with no probs whatsoever @ my CVS .. worked like a charm using the $1 & the B1G1 qs together.

    • Ruth

Is anyone else having trouble getting printouts from the CVS Red Scanner? On two different days, when I scanned my CVS card at the scanner it said not coupons available. This was my first time scanning the card on each day.

      • Amy

Me too. I went Saturday and Sunday to 2 different stores and they said the same thing.

        • Brooke82

I went to mine in Arlington, Tx on Saturday and it worked fine for me. Maybe they were out of paper???

        • millie

that happened to me the other day and it was because the machine was out of paper………

      • NSBsaver

Yes! I did too. It said “Error” when I scanned my card….

      • WD

YES!! I went to a CVS in Columbus, GA and had that issues yesterday. I called someone over to fix it and she couldn't get it to work either.

      • EB

The machine will only print coupons for me every other day. If I happen to come in two days in a row, I always get “coupons not available. come back tomorrow”

    • Markandvanessa03

FYI….. The PUREX in Knoxville, TN. is limit of “3”. I bought 5, got $6 back, looked at the ad/circular and is clearly says limit 3 NOT 5. No biggie, I just returned the other two. Great week at CVS!! Thanks Jenny!

    • Caroline

I had a great trip to CVS today! I had to go pick up 2 prescriptions and I had a coupon for get a $25 gift card with new/transferred prescription. I'd had one last time I got a prescription so I used it to pay for the ones today, then used the remainder and the second one to pay for everything else.
      Trans 1: (not counting prescriptions)
      Tylenol Precise $5.99
      -$2 sq
      -$2 mq
      -1 ECB
Total $.99, got back 2 ECB

Trans 2: Nivea for Men 4.99
      -$1 mq
      -2 ECB
Total $2.24, got back 5! ECB

Trans 3: 4 Lysol wipes $10 (if you can't find them with cleaning supplies, check an endcap near the pharmacy, there were tons…and they each had .50 peelies on them though I didn't use those)
      1 Alive for men vitamins
      – $4/$20
      – 2 $1/2 mq for lysol
      -$1 mq for vit.
      – 5 ECB
Total $8.54, got back 14.99 ECB

      Trans 4: Brach candy .99
      Zyrtec 21.99
      – $3 mq
      -14.99 ECB
Total $5.01, got back 2.99 ECB (totally didn't know there were ECB on the Zyrtec but I needed it so I was getting it)

Trans 5: High Octane Energy Chews 1.99
      Skintimate shave gel 3.99
      -$.75mq
      -2.99 ECB
Total $2.54, got back 4.99 ECB

Total OOP $19.32 for over $70 worth of stuff (that I'll actually use!)…and the best part is, I didn't use any of my own money for any of it!!! And I still have $16 left on the gift card!! The cashier was so nice and patient, as were the people that ended up lining up behind me although no one was there when I started. Thanks Jenny for all your help!

      • Kim

Where did you get the coupon for the new/transferred prescription? Thanks!

        • Brooke82

Mine always print when I scan my card at the red machine at the front of the store. Of course I don't have prescriptions for anything so I can't use them…

        • judebluiz359

At most CVS stores you don't need a CVS coupon for a prescription transfer. They will accept the Rite Aid $25 coupon found online or in Rite Aid ad circulars.
Just hand them that with your transferred prescription.
Just to be sure, ask them if they accept these before you have it filled.

    • mylexis

Got 90% of gas grills, shoes, toys, and hats. St. Augustine, FL CVS

    • Mdthomason

I had a great CVS trip today. Unfortunately they were out of the Nivea Body wash and the Alive vitamins. Got a rain check for the vitamins, though. I also had the machine beep on the Air Wick deal. Only got to use the B1G1 coupons. I got 2 gallons of milk, 2 packs of oreos, Tylenol Precise and 4Air Wicks all for $3.70. Not bad!

      • Brooke82

You should have asked to speak with a manager or told them that you are able to use the q for the b1g1 air wick deal. The $ off q is for the one that you are paying for. I always question them when I know what I am able to use. Sometimes they don't know any better. They will just key it in for you. This has happened several times to me. You should take it back and speak to a manager. They will fix it for you.

        • Dale

I had the same thing happen to me. The $ off q beeped and she told me I could only use one coupon, the B1G1. I told her the $ off q should be for the one I was buying…anyway…didn't get to use it. Not sure why it was beeping for her.

    • WD

Did anyone else have trouble getting the free Milano cookies? The CVS sales paper had a large picture of Milano cookies and Pepperidge Farm Goldfish 10/$10 ($1 a piece). It did not specify that you had to buy all 10 items to get the deal, but when I grabbed 2 bags of Milanos and 1 bag of Goldfish they all rang up full price. I asked the cashier and showed her the ad and she checked with a manager who concurred the deal was only for Milanos and Goldfish in a BOX. I have never seen Milanos in a box before so I just put them back.

      • Wrendickens

BTW, I did have the 2 mq for $1 off Milanos which would have made them free.

      • Jessie

The sale is for the 2.8 oz boxes and the $1/1 printable coupon is for a 3 oz or larger package. I was going to use it today, but then I read the fine print. There is a newspaper coupon for .60 off of ANY one package of milanos though which would make them .40, which is a pretty good deal, I think….

        • artlady

I did the same thing….walked in and was surprised to see that the sale is on the 2.8 oz (almost 3 oz….but alas, not qualifying for the coupon) BOX of milano cookies….and there are only 7 in them. Oh well…wish I would have saved my printer ink!

          • Susanizanurse

I didn't read the fine print I guess but picked up 8 boxes yesterday that rang up for $1 & used 8 $1/1 qs with no problems whatsoever.

      • Cheryleure

Where are you .. my answer is NO problems smithfield, virgina.. bought a bag.. (they are tiny..thinking stocking stuffers). this morning.. and one bag this evening. rang for 1.00 and took the 1.00 Q

      • alyw

im in FL and I asked the manager first and she gave it to me NO PROBLEM!

      • Queennana0725

I found what the ad was referring to. The Milano cookies are in boxes of 7 cookies and are $1. I had some coupons for .75 off so I got these little boxes of cookies for .25 each. Not really cheap for 7 cookies but these are really good.

has anyone tried the $4 off 2 nivea body products coupon with the body wash?

      • chrystalm

I did I paid .99 for 2 bodywashes and got 5 ecb back. sweet deal! Even sweeter the 5 ecb didnt automatically print out so the cashier printed out 1 for me, after looking at my receipt it gave me a $10 credit towards the $15 nivea deal. What's with the CVS printable coupons? It acts if it going to print them for me, but just continues to sit and state that it's “sending coupons to your printer”. Never any coupons! :(

      • Caritob40

I had trouble printing coupons, so my husband “cleaned” the history and cookies and everything. Then, when I tried to print them again it worked…I hope that helps

      • SonjaG123

Mine did that too, but it finally printed after about 10 minutes. This is the first time I have been on this website. I've had trouble with other coupons in the past. Maybe I just didn't wait long enough for them to print.

    • lysm84

I just stopped in at my San Antonio CVS, and not only were there fabulous clearances on skin care items, but they were having an unadvertised 12-pack Coke special! 4 boxes for $6, and I still got $3ECB for buying 4 boxes. 4 12-packs for $3 is pretty impossible to beat.

    • meagan

PLEASE HELP! I can not get the $1 off Airwick to print! How do I install the coupon printer plug in or does anyone know where else I can find this coupon? I have an HP so I am not sure why I am having problems. Thanks in advance!

      • melissa

it wouldn't do it on firefox for me…and i have wrong operating system. :(

      • Firstbrownie

I just printed it off through IE; I was origianally on Chrome, but it wouldn't work; I had a small bar pop-up on the top that I had to click to allow add-ons and then it printed just fine.

    • Sholcombe4

If I purchase one Precise Wrap, get an ECB for that product can I use the ECB in another transaction to get another Wrap? Or is it like Walgreens, where you cannot use the reward on the same item again. Thanks, Sue

      • joyfullysaving

You CAN turn around and buy another one…Just be careful that you pay attention to the limit per customer on items.. For instance the Precise Wrap in a limit 1 which means you can only get the ECB on your first purchase.

    • Mommy2brynley

hi, im kind of new to cvs shopping. If i buy 2 of the same product at once will it give me 2 of the ecb amounts?

      • Yes, if the limit is 2. But it will be combined on one ticket.

      • Owensnmb

watch the limits. a lot have a limit of only one

    • Lancypooh

      Question for everyone:

I have a raincheck for the Nivea for Men Body Wash @ 4.85 each and 5 ECB when you spend 15$ or more. Would I be able to use my raincheck and still get the ECB for this week's sale ($4.99 w/ you buy 1 Nivea for Mean Body Wash) as well??

      Thanks!

    • millie

IT WORKED! i put on here yesterday about the olay coupon in the SS? insert from 9/12 that said wyb ANY 2 Olay Moisturizers you get a Regenerist Eye Roller FREE! olay is on sale at cvs this week and the eye roller (just the eye roller) has $6 ecbs attached, so i bought 2 olay moisturizers for 9.99 each and had 2 $1 off coupons, used 16.99 in ecbs that i had just earned from a prev trans. and with tax came to $4.30 and the $6 ecb for the eye roller printed! the cashier had to get the manager to approve the free coupn because it is a 19.99 value, but he did it with no problem. just wanted to share….;()

      • Betty

Where did you find the buy two moisturizers get roller free? Not in my SS 9/12

    • Guest

Does anyone know if you can stack a $/2 mf with two store coupons? So that's 2 items + 1 mf for both + 2 store coupon since its 2 items. ? Thanks :)

    • Megs

The Lysol at my CVS (FL panhandle) was still $4.29 each, not $2.50. Not a great deal for the amount of product. Anyway I got some eyedrops for hubs and the cheap papertowels/cereals. That gave me $3 ECB for next time and some good coupons from the kiosk…$3 off Huggies WooHoo!!!

      • Dharvn

my store has them reg. price at $4.29 with no sale sign posted. but i checked the price anyway and they were on sale for $2.50. trying going back and have them scan it or scan it yourself at the cvs red cpn/price checker.

    • Geannine_m

I am very new at this but I think I did a great job today. First transfered 2 prescriptions got two $25 gift cards. Prescriptions only $18.00 for both. So i guess I made $32 for just giving them my business. Then used my $3 CVS bucks and got 3 of the hersery snack size on sale for $.77, 2 bags of brachs pumpkins on sale for $.99 and used a coupon I got yesterday (from the coupon machine) for $1 off hersery snack size. My grand total for the candy was $.38!! Plus I got the $1 cvs buck for buying the pumpkins!!Not bad for a newbie!

      • SavingNKY

Do you have to have a coupon to get the $25 gift card for transferring a prescription? Id like to transfer one, but dont have anything that says I should get a gift card.

        • Geannine_m

I got the coupon for the prescription in the mail a few weeks a go. there were 2 coupons for $25 each. I guess they sent them to me because I had gotten prescriptions there before but didn't have any currently. I'm not sure of any other way to get the gift card.

        • Stacey

I think they will accept those Rite Aid transfer coupons that are in their weekly flyers.

        • millie

i seem to get them quite a bit from the magic coupon box but i am pretty sure they will take the rite aid coupons from their sale paper, you would have to ask, they may even have a coupon they will give you for that, won't hurt to ask.

    • 3monkeysmom

Wow…I just tried to print the $1 off Airwick Aqua Mist from the Home Solutions site and I hit my print limit BUT instead of them giving me an error message it printed out what looks like a coupon but says “you have exceeded your household limit” twice on the “coupon” and once elsewhere on the page! Geez, it's bad enough their coupons print one to a page and print in the middle but this is just ridiculous!!!!

    • Girljar

If you use the FREE warmer unit with the refill purchase, does that count as 1 item, since they don't take the price off until the end of the transaction?

      • Yes, it should, if the warmer is included in the ECB deal. You'll have to check your store tags. Sometimes they are not included.

    • 4gladkids

i bought 1 nivea mens bw and used $1 off Q. and got back 4.99. then i bought 2 olay facial mositurizers at 8.49 each and 1 olay eye roller at 18.99. i used ecb 4.99 plus 2.50 from last week, 5 dollar off 25 Q, and a Q from sunday paper buy 2 olay moisturizers and get eye roller free. I also had a dollar off olay moisturizer. total came to 4.51, and i got 6 ecb and went back for tide detergent. love cvs

      • Sam

could you please name the 2 olay moisturisers you bought for 8.49?thank you

        • Queennana0725

Can't remember the names exactly but they are the original Oil of Olay products. They aren't Regenerist, Definity or Total Effects. I got the Olay firming night cream and the moisturizer with SPF 15. One was $8.49, the other $8.99. Found mine on bottom shelf under the more expensive items in the line.

          • Sam

            thank you

      • Now you can submit for $10 Olay rebate!

    • Tdholloway

I was in Bilo the other day and there was a better at home display that had a general mills coupon booklet display-there was a dollar off coupon for cinamon toast crunch cereal-this would be great with the 1.88 cereal.

    • lynds

On the Lysol deal where you get $5 ecb wyb 4 products, there are printable coupons for both the Lysol all purpose and the toilet bowl cleaner!

      • lynds

The deal is on the Home Solutions website (just google it if you aren't already signed up!)

    • Verabelle

Had a great trip to CVS!!! I got a box of huggies, nivea for men body wash and 3 boxes of cereal for $3.62 oop!!!!! And got back $4.99 in ECBs. I used 4/20 q, $3 huggies q from coupons. com, and a $3 CVS q from my register reciept, $1 nivea q, $1 cereal q and 15 ECBs!!! Wonderful savings!!!!

    • Brooke82

Just got back from CVS. I got the energy chews, Alive vitamins, 2 Crayola markers, 2 boxes of Sweet N Low, 2 bags of Hershey snack size candy bars, Brachs candy corn and spent $1.60 OOP!

    • Tmccarty

Has anyone been able to find this coupon?

-B1G1 Air Wick Aqua Mist, up to $3.29, SS 8/08

I've looked in the flyer 08/08 but could not find it.

      • Stephanie

I didn't get it either, Knoxville TN

        • lynds

          I got it (Greenville, SC)

        • Tmccarty

I wonder if it was just in our area. I'm in Kentucky and I have three SS flyers for this date and none of them had the coupon. :(

      • HFutch

I found it. I actually had two sets of them but i'm not sure if it was from the same week or not. The back of my clipped coupon had a Dulcolax ad on it. Not sure if that helps or not.

What is a 10 cent filler item?

      • raddison

A filler item is something you buy to get your total up a certain amount needed to use all of your ECB. For example if your total at the end is $4.90 and you have $5 in ECBs to use than you would use a 10 cent filler item to get your total up to $5. Sometimes you can also just have them adjust your ECBs down.

    • Mharwell01

I tried the buy $15 Nivea, get 5ecbs deal. I only bought 3 bodywashes at $4.99 each so I only spent $14.97, but sure enough the 5ecbs printed anyway. Also, at the bottom of my receipt, it now shows 3 cents needed to reach reward. I wonder if I buy another Nivea product if the 5ecbs will print again. Has anyone tried this?

      • Guest

it probably wouldn't work. it'd also be dishonest.

      • sonyapell

I'll bet the Nivea for men body wash that is printing out 4.99 ecb is included in the $15 worth of Nivea deal. So, in reality, you got the 4.99 ECB from the body wash, but got credit for the entire 14.97 towards your $15 purchase for $5 ECB. I bet if you go back and buy one more item, it will print the additional $5 ECB.

Not dishonest if that's how they have their sale set up. I wondered about it myself the other day in the store.

        • Mharwell01

no the active3 is a different deal. i got 5 ecbs for that also.

    • Bren

total and cinnamon toast crunch on sale this week for 1.88 each. had $1.00 off 1 box total or cinnamon toast crunch . found coupons at bilo. bought 6 boxes of cereal and( 2) 99 cent shampoo /conditioner with ecb and coupons only paid 72 cents for them.woohoo

    • workout

Just a heads up about the “high octane” energy chews. The limit is 1 for ECB. I bought two since I thought they were free and only got one ECB for 1.99. I looked in the ad and it actually states limit 1.

      • Joydale72800

I only bought one and my receipt did NOT show offer limit reached. Planned to buy another, but guess I won't chance it.

        • Wmllewis

I believe the true limit is two, but you are limited to one per transaction.

        • JKGator99

I also only got one set of ECBs. . .the manager said there was a limit of one. I may be back by there and will try doing it in a separate transaction and see if the 2 but in separate transaction scenario will work.

        • Firstbrownie

I just bought my second today, and my receipt says I've reached my limit.

      • Mharwell01

the limit for the month is 2. but you can only do 1 per transaction. ive done the deal twice.

    • Lisabweaver

    • I have a question. Last week I was at the commissary and just grabbed coupons off the shelf for things I knew I'd need in the future. These state on there “military store coupon.” However, at the bottom, the coupon bar code number starts with a 5, and I remember that being a MFC coupon correct? Does anyone know if I could use these coupons as MFC coupons at other stores? Thanks!

      • artlady

My Publix will take these coupons. And yes, I do believe that they are usually all manufacturer's coupons. However, I have not tried using one at CVS before…they are usually a lot more picky with what coupons they will accept, even if it is a manufacturer's coupon. I would just check with your store's manager.

    • Ariel

I just want to comment on my cashier at CVS today. I read so often about people having issues with their cashiers and I want to give a positive review. I go to the RockyHill CVS in Knoxville, TN. The young lady who checked me out today has been my cashier several times. I always get the best customer service at this store. All of them are helpful, but this young lady was great. She helped me find several items that from the ECB list above that had been “moved” and then, after noticing I had picked up 3 toys on clearance from the toy isle, she took the time to walk me to a new clearnace area to show me the summer clearance. All of it 75% off. But the great thing was there were regular toys on these shelves, not just summer. I bought 3 battery operated cars, 3 action figures, 2 bubble sets, 2 “boppin” bags, and toy workmans drill. I bought hose along with huggies pull-ups, twin pack colgate, 2 packs toothbrushes, shaving cream, 2 boxes cereal, Tylenol, hydrocortisone cream. Retail $127.64. W/ coupons + sales, my OOP was only $43.70!!!

So thanks to those cashiers who enjoy their jobs, appreciate customers who want to use coupons ethically, and who go out of their way to show customer appreciation!!!!

      • Arielles

plus I left with $9 ECB for next time!

    • Emilydianne808

Okay guys I need help. I have been couponing for about six months now, but I have not been CVSing. I am going to go tomorrow, I need your help:) I would of course like to get the best deal possible but I get so confused. If anyone can help me with a scenario that would be awesome! I have no ECB's at this time. Tomorrow I would like to walk out of the store with 2 Nivea body washes, 1 alive vitamins, 1 tylenol precise, 4 airwick scented oil refills, and 1 skintamate shaving cream. Please let me know if you think you can help:)

      • If you told us which coupons you have, it would be easier to help.

    • Bamafan

Milano cookies are included in the 10 for 10 (normally they are 3.86 or something). HOWEVER they did not ring up at $1 but at regular price. The are not marked on the shelf either… I had to get the manager to override. After I used my 75 cents off coupons I ended up getting them for 25 cents each.

    • Bamafan

Use the shopping list – check the deals you want to get and print/pull the coupons you want to use. Take the list with you and be prepared for some of the items to be sold out. Follow the multiple scenarios that Jenny lays out as best you can with what you want to buy. Be sweet to the cashier – even if you have to suggest something is not ringing up right…. Have everything ready before you walk up to the check out line…Good luck.

    • Bamafan

The post above is for Emilydiane808

    • Goochette03

I shop at the CVS in Lawrenceburg TN and the cashiers there are ALWAYS very friendly and helpful. I've not been couponing long either and if I can't use a certain coupon they explain to me WHY I can't use it instead of just throwing it back at me. The very first trip I took I told her that I was new at this and she helped to two transactions to get the least oop. I love my CVS!!!!

    • CCShad

Just found this – There is a CVS store coupon $1 off Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor in the September Real Simple magazine. It expires 9/30.

    • Bugaboobags

was not able to do this deal –cashier said I COULD NOT use two coupons for the same item. this was the first time this has ever happened, so I just had her take the item off and I will go to the CVS where I normally shop.
