I found the correct link for the nair.. but its $3/2 not $3/1
      http://www.naircare.com/women/coupons.aspx#

    • Amber

Heads up – On the clean and clear printable, it will only let you print one, not two. There are two ‘printable’ links listed, the first takes you to the C&C site, the other to
      coupons.com
…however, the C&C site has you answer questions then it leads you to the coupons.com site…and if you already printed your one from there, it won’t let you print another.

Long story short = you can only print one $2 off coupon.

      • alli

I used both links and was able to print two! Hope you all can get both also! :)

    • Jasmine

hello, just wanted to say that the link for nair coupon isn't working

    • anna

the nair coupon does not work

    • Kernx8

Is the Dove deoderant strong enough for teenage footnball players??????

      • Superjen

Nothing but a shower after practice is strong enough for a teenage football player!

    • Mandy

I found the Nair coupon by going directly to Nair's main Web site. FYI – the coupon is now $3/2.

    • FYI: Both links for the Dove deod coupons are out of prints

    • Guest

FYI: both links for the dove deo coupons are out of prints.

      • FreedomSpradley1

I just printed them with no problem.

        • Sleepyshabby

          Me too.

    • S_macinty

      What is ECB?

      • Kelly

You need to read her getting started guide to CVS. Jenny does an awesome job with explaining it!

      • Mskatblack

        ECB is extra care bucks

      • Cfeathers1

ECB is Extra Care Bucks. I would suggest going to the top of the page and under Best Deals there is a video link. Watch the CVS video. It will help you a lot.

    • SweetGirl

Well, I do not really understand about ECB!!! I thought I can use it only in next quarter! I mean I buy something in january, febbuary and march, got my ECB and can it only from 1 April. Am I right?

      • Kelly

The ECB you got on April 1st was your quarterly ECB, which is based on your spending for the quarter before. These ECB listed above are for this week only. I would also suggest that you use her getting started guide to “cvsing” to help explain it better. She does much better than me :) HTH

      • Joanne Posey

You can turn around and do another transaction and use your extracare bucks, You do not have to wait. Use them on anothe transaction that will give you more extracare bucks!!!

      • kristenk

i was confused about this initially, too, b/c i had a terrible cashier explain it to me incorrectly. your ECB's print at the bottom of your receipt, and you can use them immediately (with your next transaction). At the end of each QUARTER, anytime you buy something at CVS using your extra care card, an ECB will print based on what you spent for that quarter (not connected to any sales in that given week). it's just a reward for shopping at their store… for example, when I spend a certain amount of money over time at Macy's w/ my Macy's card, they send me a $10 gift card in the mail. Same idea for the quarterly ECB's. HTH!

    • CCShad

If you got the Free Sample of Dove Men's deod and body soap (travel sizes) in the mail recently, they came with a $1 off one deod. It must have been an All You Free Sample – I got mine 2-3 days ago.

      • Pamelasue1977

thanks, i forgot about that one.

      • Yuliyaporter

Yes, thanks so much, I did get those and I did forget about them, too :))

    • Susan

What is the “Dinner and a Movie” gift card? TIA!

      • CCShad

I was wondering the same thing….

      • Guest

It is a gift card that is good for 2 regal cinema movie tickets and dinner (different cards have different restraunt options). It is my favorite gift to buy for couples for Christmas, etc.

    • S_macinty

I am sure this is not where I need to post this, but I really want to start couponing and I am trying to figure out how to start out. How am I supposed to know what week has the “rock bottom” price to start out at and how do I figure the coupons in with the price of the items? Do you only buy items that are on sale and that have coupons? Or are there many different ways to add things for savings? We are having our first little one and saving on groceries would be a wonderful way to save up even more for extra expenses, trips, college savings!!! Where should I go to learn the very very basics on how to start? I have e-mail and fbook of someone is up for helping me!

      • Nellpsp1

Welcome to couponing! You certainly chose the right site to start with. Jenny has lots of helpful hints and articles that will get you headed in the right direction. My email is nellpsp1@yahoo.com if you have any questions maybe I can help.

      • Carolyn

Look at the top of the page and click “Learn to Coupon”. Jenny has a list you can download that has her opinion of rock bottom prices! I've referred to that a lot, it may be a bit out of date (some are cheaper prices than current best prices). Hope that helps! Start out simple with 1 grocery store and 1 drugstore!! I like Publix and CVS the best :)

      • Bauercandace

If you are located near Martinez, GA i am looking for a coupon buddy! Good luck getting started!

        • Leanne

I'm in Augusta! I've only been couponing for a couple of weeks and could really use a coupon buddy!

      • Lzbacnik

you need to go to one of Jenny's classes. I went to one of Jenny's classes last summer. You will be able to coupon once you take her class.

      • Ubeappy2

Southern savers has some videos on youtube also that really explain everything. I was impressed with Jenny's integrity and complete explanations. Jenny is my guru from now on!

That is great news because I was told just the opposite. Thanks for the info.

        • Jillian

If u get 3 tags, 1 per card then you can get MORE ECBs since u can only scan the card once PER DAY. it says every 4th transaction BUT its only once per day that counts. get 1 per card, its better.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        A) Greentags hve one universal upc code. It works just as any other product you scan. So it works for any card. It is the card that limits the use one per day-Greentag itself does not get “locked in” to any card per se

        B) On a related note; it seems that card recognizes tag scanned per day per store. If you go to different store same day, greentag credit actually might work at each store; thus, you may accumulate bucks quickly if you split your transactions between multiple stores on a given day

    • Blingbeads1

Can't find the Schick coupon on their Facebook site. Help please. It says in the Question and answer tab that it is a pdf. Did anybody save the file? Can it be shared?

      • Ahpeal

Look under the “Have a Blast” tab. Under “Win Cool Travel Prizes” in blue & yellow is the small “Get Coupons” arrow and link. It's hard to see.

        • Blingbeads1

Thank you so much. I found it.

    • A $5 ECB came out of the Red magic Machine today saying I purchase enough beauty products, Only thing is since I signed up for that I haven't bought and make-up, Weird, but a good weird… I luv my cvs…

      • Suzanne

        body wash counts too

        • Bauercandace

And shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, deoderant…. all kinds of stuff!!! I love CVS!

      • Blingbeads1

Lots of stuff counts as beauty items. You can see your balance if you log in to the CVS site.

any oral care, hair care, skin care **including some first aid lotions* facial care shaving and diplatory, hair dye, facial care and cosmetics count as beauty…anything that has a light blue shelf strip is beauty… good thing is it doesnt subtract your coupons from your amount, it keeps it as the current selling price

      thanks Jenny

    • shellyluwho

My local CVS was out of the Colgate and the milk today :( I kind of feel like I missed out.

      • Dani

Can you get a rain check, I hear they never expire.

      • Firstbrownie

Yep, rainchecks never expire….I recently used one from last February; I just waited until I had coupons to go with the items!

    • Dtrolen

anyone know what zip you have to befrom to get the 5/2 coupon for the clean and clear products

    • Mwells4

I was also wondering about the Dove deodorant. Can't help being skeptical of deo for 99 cents. Can anyone who has tried it give some testimony? Thanks in advance.

      • Leanne

This deodorant is typically over $3.00. My boyfriend has been using it and likes it as well as anyone can like deodorant. I will certainly be stocking up, even though I can't get any of the coupons. =)

      • South

Yes, I use it every day and it is fine. I got several free last yr when they were promoting them so much.

      • polly

I received a free sample in the mail a couple of weeks ago and my husband really likes it. It seems to be great quality and has a fresh scent.

      • Bh

I am a guy and stocked up from Publix for about .50 each but free is better and it never goes bad

      • Barbara

The Dove men's deodorant is almost $4 at my Wal-Mart! They make a deodorant only version with no Aluminum in it which is important to us!

      • Nita Royal

My hubby likes it because it doesn't irritate his sensitive pits ;-)

    • Bauercandace

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but on the clean and clear, if I'm able to get the coupons printed, could I not use the B1G1 Morning burst product and the $5 morning burst coupon to end up getting both free?

      • FreedomSpradley1

I doubt the Surge Energizing Power Cleanser is $4.99 and that's what the $5 off coupon applies to. It's usually more expensive than the facial and body washes. Still worth checking into and might end up being free anyways after $5ECB from deal.

        • Griffingirl69

has anyone seen these at their cvs? mine does not carry the power cleanser…just curious on the price & if it's worth looking for in another store?

          • Nita Royal

I haven't seen them at any of the four CVS's I've tried or the 4 RA's I looked at. There have been specials on these several times, and I've been carrying these coupons so long, they expired on April 5th.

          • Apatrick630

I was looking for them too, couldn't find it at CVS, Rite Aid, or Walgreens, but I did find them at Walmart, and they are about $15!

          • Laurellb1

They had them at our cvs this morning for $17 and some change

    • Samandkim

can anyone tell me where to get colgare toothpaste coupons?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        a) $1/1 were out on many varieties, I believe SS 4/10 or 4/3.
        b) $1/1 on any Total variety => Walgreens Diabetic Spring Booklet

      • Amber

Click on “coupon database” at the top of the page to search for any coupon your little heart desires :)

    • Samandkim

sorry, just starting couponing im having trouble with the dove coupon also, can anyone help?

      • Atwilkerson

RP 3/27 stands for the red plum coupon insert in the paper on 3/27. Click on printable and you can print them as well.

        • jcompman

          two problems..

One: the one in the 3/27 red plum insert says “Excludes Men+Care” on the deodorant coupon.

Two: I tried printing off the internet and both websites say that there are no coupons available…

          • There is another coupon out specifically for the Men+Care Deo….

And the coupon is probably out of prints being that its going to be free :(

    • precious

i can not click on the little box next to the products to make a shoping list for cvs or wallgreens please help

      • Jnn_horan

When the list is posted without the boxes, click on the “comments” next to the headlines and it will take you to the list where you can click on the boxes.

are we not going to make lists any more Jenny?

    • Jthornton

Can you use ECB's to buy gift cards?

      • Paige

no. But I have heard that if you buy other things with it, you can use your ECB's.

    • Bh

saw free yoplait yogurt on their facebook, like them and get mailed coupon

    • wendyc33

of course there is no revlon deal this week since i got a 5.00 off revlon cvs kiosk coupon last week. it will expire this weekend. lol. Of all the cosmetics revlon is not included. I bet it will be next week though. haha.

      • Firstbrownie

My store takes their CRT and ECB 30 days after expiration. I got one of those coupons a couple of weeks ago too and I'm hanging on to it!

    • Brittg91289

CVS has a B1G1 on General Mills Cereal. And Coupon.com had a $.75 Coupon off all General Mills Cereal! Use 2 Coupons and get 2 boxes of Cereal for $2.49!!!

    • Ksauder

Don't forget that there are no coupons this Sunday – you can cancel delivery for Sunday and extend your subscription by one week by contacting your newspaper company.

    • Candy

Sorry if this was asked before but if you buy something at CVS and its on sale buy one get one for 50% off, can you use a coupon for each of them? Thanks

      • Bamasaver

        Yes, you can

    • Jennscaffeinated

I have a rain check from when the Clean and Clear body washes were $2.99. Can I use that and still get the ECB's from the deal?

      • Jennscaffeinated

Went in today and the answer is NO. But I got 3 bottles at $2.99 – 1 BOGO and 2 $2 off coupons, but NO ECB printed. Did I make the right choice, or should I have just bought them through this original sale?

        • Griffingirl69

you should have asked for the ecb? when I get a rain check my store always writes the amount of ecb on the rain check and they honor that when I use it.

        • MrsEllis

If you only bought 3 bottles at $2.99, you would not get any ECBs because the deal is $5 ECB WYB $15. So if you had bought the three that you had the raincheck for, and then another one at this weeks sale price you would have received the ECBs.

      • Crafty_cat_86

Probably. If you look at the bottom of your recipt, you will find a list of the deals that you've bought this week. It tracks your purchases for limits and stuff. It might say something like:

Clean and clear, Spend 15, get 5
        quantity toward this reward 8.97
quantity needed to earn reward 15

If you buy 6.03 more worth of clean and clear any time this week, you should get 5 ECBs. I've “learned” from the bottom of my reciept before that an item I bought was part of a deal and ended up getting a gret bundle on stuff, so check your reciept (the cashiers can't take your ECBs just because you paid less for the product–the only reason your ECBs didn't print is because you didn't spend $15).

“Here are all the deals in the CVS Weekly Ad starting Sunday 4/23”

      Sunday is the 24th

      • Brownketch

Normally I don't object to someone pointing out a typo, but . . . if you can't be courteous, Guest, just don't comment at all.

    • Tinawhedbee

I have manuf. coupons for Clean and Clear it anyone needs them. I already have several bottles in my stash and have no use for more. I have five B1G1 and four $1 off.

The sale starts Sunday. I'll be happy to drop them in the mail.

      • Emilydianne808

Hi Tina I would love them. My personal email in emilydianne808@yahoo.com email me and I'll shoot you my address

      • Jessica Beecham

My wife and I would love one or two! :) jessica.beecham@gmail.com

      • Heidi

Hi Tina – I'd love the B1G1s – none to be had in our inserts. If you have any left, my email is hbream@hotmail.com. BIG time thanks! Heather

      • Letty391

Hi Tina, I would love one or two if at all possible of your B1G1 clean & clear coupons. I have 2 teenage girls at home and we go through that stuff real fast. My email address is letty391@yahoo.com

        Thanks!

    • Adrian@orlando

I know this ain't the right place to ask but if I have 2 BIGI free coupons does that make the product free?
ex: I have 2 B1G1 free head and shoulder shampoos, if I get 2 head and shoulders from the store and use my 2 B1G1 coupons does that make the item free?

      • Stacielovescoupons

You can't use 2 B1G1 coupons for only 2 products. You can use a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 sale and get both free. Hope this helps! :)

      • Griffingirl69

The coupons are for free conditioner. I just got back from my cvs~tons of shampoo but no cond. on the shelf at all! I found that a little odd…wonder if they did it on purpose because of the coupons??

    • Ljefferson

Had an AWFUL experience at CVS yesterday. Claritin was in the clearance cart. Picked it up with coupon-cashier told me no coupons w/clearance. I said I had never heard of that and didn't want the product and left store. Forgot something so went home, tried to find official coupon policy; couldn't; so called CVA. Very nice woman checked and told me they should have taken coupon and she called the store for me. I returned to store, coupon in hand, and cashier who originally said no was about to go on break and told other cashier-that's the woman who tried to use coupon and HQ called us. Then she bolted to back of store (employee lounge). Cashier now working made rude comments about me to customer she was waiting on. Customer mentioned “too much drama.” I went to back of store and asked to speak to manager about complaint. They paged manager 2x but she never came so I left the store. I absolutely was not rude in any manner anyone and I have never been so humiliated in my life. It's too bad they will never get my $$ again. Will write letter to CVS this weekend.

      • JTTLC

I am sorry you had such a bad experience. I have not shopped at CVS in a long time until just this week now that I am starting couponing seriously. I did have a good experience thank goodness. It is shame when an employee can ruin it for the whole store!

      • Nita Royal

Call the 800 number and talk to customer service. I had the same problem when I first started couponing, and had cust svc contact the regional manager to get “retraining” for the local stores. No problem since! As a matter of fact, the red machine gave me $3 off Dulcolax this evening, and it was on clearance for $2.69, so got it for 31 cents profit.

      • Cfrazier

I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience at CVS couponing, but you are not the first person I've heard with complaints. However, the lady at Rite Aid has always even worked with me to find better deals with my couponing.

      • Syndilew

I have discovered that at CVS they do not actually scan in the clearance item, at least at my CVS. They manually enter in the item's amount so that when a coupon is scanned for the item that it says product not purchased or not valid or something like this. Most of the cashiers that have been there for a while know this but the newer ones don't and that is why they say no coupons on clearance because the register doesn't want to take it. Try next time explaining to them that about the fact that they didn't scan the item in. I was told this one time too and I asked them to please show me in the policy where I couldn't use a coupon on the clearance. Just to get me out of the store they manually put in the coupon which is what they have to do anyway with clearance coupons. Keep doing the deals, now they know that they have to be on their couponing game and you shouldn't have anymore problems with them.

        • Ljefferson

I usually shop on weekends and the staff has always been nice and helpful, but because it was Good Friday, there was different staff at the store. When she said no coupons on clearance, I thought it was weird but figured if that's their coupon policy, then that's their coupon policy and you gotta work within each store's rules. After talking with the woman at the 800 number, I found out that isn't their policy, and Syndilew, that's exactly what happened when they rang it up– “item not purchased.” Anyway, it wasn't that I couldn't use the coupon that got me upset (even though I found out I could have), it was the attitude of the staff. Although I could call, I will definitely write them a letter. Making disparaging remarks about a customer to other customers – that's just not right!

          • Syndilew

I agree with you about disparaging remarks and cashiers. Business is business. I always remind myself that I am paying the store more than the person behind me in line using a debit card. Every q that I give them makes them an additional eight cents whereas the person behind me in line is costing them 3% of their purchase to go on their credit/debit card. You would think that they would start to appreciate us couponers a little more but most people don't understand how the system works.

            • Bobbimcgrory

but on the contrary by trying to “cheat the system” ie give coupons for items that aren't what the coupon is specified for is putting that cashier at risk of losing his/her job for what saving .50 cents think about it this way you might think you are saving and no big deal but the cashier is at risk of coupon fraud and lossing his/her job and not providing for their family, i agree that they should not be discussing you with other co workers and esp. not customers

            • Ljefferson

Yes, I agree-cheating teh system is wrong. But in this case I wasn’t trying to cheat the system. That’s why I tried to find CVS’ official coupon policy online.

            • Ljefferson

      • HSMom

I've had a rude employee check me out today at CVS. She was friendly and smiling until I handed her my coupons. She then gave me that “oh great, a couponer” look. When one of my coupons for the Dove Deo didn't scan, she got irritated because I mentioned it and she had to input it by hand. CVS needs to do more employee attitude training. When I visit Publix, they're almost tripping over themselves to help me. I LOVE Publix !!!!!

    • MalsMom

What time this evening does the new sale for tomorrow start?

      • Coupongal18

It depends on your area and your store – usually, the 24 hour stores don't start until 9 or so and the regular stores can start anywhere from 4 – 6 or so!!!!!

        • nina

My store just told me corporate won't allow them to start the ad early anymore because people were wiping out the sale items on sat.

      • Griffingirl69

my store starts at 4 pm on sat~i'm in southern ohio

    • Does anyone know of a place or site I can find a coupon buddy to swap coupons with? For example, I don't have kids yet and come across TONS of diaper/baby product coupons I know someone could use. There are a couple products that we use that I would love extra coupons of. Any ideas? Thanks!

      • EtowahCouponClippers

Cristi if u are on facebook our local coupon group is about to start coupon train next week go to Etowah Coupon Clippers on facebook its a group not a page so request to join the info should be on the right side of the page

      • PigBetsypen

I see all kinds of baby item coupons my group do no use. Would mail them to someone. I help everyone.

    • karen

      Thanks Jenny

    • Fallaya

I'll get the Blink Tears, and I think that'll be it for this week, unless I get some awesome coupon(s) from the magic red machine!

    • JTTLC

I am new to this site and couponing (only 2 weeks now), but I was shocked at all the free items I got this week. I even filled up half my kitchen table with products and took a picture I was so proud! For anyone who had a Dollar General in their town keep a look out at their sale ads. I went there today and got body wash, dishwasher tabs, and dryers sheets totally over $25 for only 31 cents! The cashier was speechless and I had a smile from ear to ear……that was only the start to my shopping as I hit Bi-Lo and CVS. I can tell this is going to be addicting….For the same $150 grocery budget I allow myself every week (and this only covers grocery stuff each week) I got a folding chair, $40 of gas in my vehicle, my son's prescription, a meal and 3 flurries at McDs, food for the whole week which included enough suger for my sweet tea drinking husband for 2 months, bathroom products (toothpaste, body wash, floss, razors, deo) for over 6 months!!!! My normal self would have only gotten food for the week…..you just cannot beat a little time and energy to save all that money!!

      • Coupongal18

I will go ahead and tell you – IT IS ADDICTING!!! LOL!!! I started at the end of Feburary and I couldn't imagine going back to shopping without this awesome site and tips!!!! It's awesome!!! Happy Couponing! You will love it!!!

    • Coupongal18

Just got back from my trip to CVS……tried the night before again to see how I could do and I did pretty well. I messed up and grabbed a wrong coupon for the Dove so I actually had to pay for one but it was only 99 cents so it wasn't that bad! Here is what I got:

      (5) Dove Men Deo.
      (2) Jergens Natural Glow
      (1) Deer Park Water
      (2) Cadbury Eggs – filler item needed and my husband loves these…..

      Total before coupons/ECB's – $27.31
      OOP: $3.48
      Got Back: $6 ECB

So, all in all, a good trip – It would have been only $2 something but I goofed on the coupons and grabbed a body wash instead of deodeorant coupon but still, I think I did well :)

      Happy shopping!!! I LOVE CVS!!!!!

    • Nita Royal

MM Alert – The Blink eyedrops are $7.99 with $7.99 ECB's, and my store had some with $4 Peelies on them! My town has a peelie thief (or more than one), so I was glad to find a box that still had them. Glad I went early – I don't normally go on Saturday evening, but wanted to get 3 deodorants for my hubby before the shelf-clearers arrived, LOL.

      • SC couponer

I found the $4 peelies too! Nice bonus. Also paired up the bogo coupons and the $1/1 for the Honest Tea, 2 of each = 4 FREE teas. Also got the men's Dove deodorants, realized hubby was on last one yesterday, great timing. And, the red coupon machine spit out $1 of any deodorant, so extra bonus. Used my rain check for buy $10, get $5 ecbs for the J&J items, buying 10 of the travel first aid kits and had $8 worth of coupons. AND got an extra $5 ecb for the Beauty Club when I scanned my card. Coupon gods were totally smiling on me tonight!

        • Nita Royal

Nice trip! We did well this evening too, keeping hubby happy with the cheap tuna, deodorant, and Sweet'n Low. Even though they didn't give ECBs, we still got out for under $2, paying for the balance with CheckPoints gift cards.

Blink is our favorite eye drop, and was recommended by our eye doctor, so this is a great time for people to try them out.

      • Skibear66

What do you consider a shelf clearer? I go for one not 3 so others can at least get some this week.

      • RaleighCouponer

We've got a peelie thief in Raleigh too. Every box of of Blink eyedrops had the peelie taken off! Still a good deal since I just roll my ECBs from week to week, but frustrating that someone would do that and not buy the product.

    • Michelle

Went to CVS tonight and they had the Schick Hydro's already marked B1G1..cashier would only allow me to use one coupon instead of 2 because coupon states one coupon per purchase…has anyone else had this problem? This will blow my whole CVS routine!

      • DebTN

You might need to ask for a manager. Also, it might help if you print out the “almost official” coupon policy above and take it with you.

      • Courtney

How many were you trying to buy? If you were only purchasing 2 and one of them was free, it would make sense that you could only use 1 mfr coupon.

        • Paige

On a B1G1 at CVS you can use two coupons. I have never had a problem using two.

          • bobbi

on bogof items at cvs you are allowed to use one manufacture coupon and then a store coupon and any extra care bucks you have… ie if you have two $3 off the razors *mfg* you can only use one it states it in their coupon policy…

      • Rlanapatterson

no problem in southern ohio….I had 20 $3.00 offs and used them over the 3 weeks that they had these on bogo…I used 4 coupons on the trans of 4…thats what they had the limit to…their policy states that you can use 1 coupon per item..so a bogo is 2 coupons

      • Amie

I would ask for a manager. Sometimes cashiers misunderstand the “one coupon per purchase” as meaning one coupon per transaction. It isn't the same thing. One coupon per purchase means one coupon for each item being purchased. I've had to explain this several times to cashiers.

        • guest

well if its a bogof item then technically you are purchasing only 1 item, the other is free, therefore the markdown will be on a free item which as per CVS coupon policy is NOT allowed, but if there is a store coupon then you can use that ecb and the man. coupon

    • sharon

I've noticed that some of the coupon sections mention areas to locate coupons that I've never heard of.. like “Paula Dean Coupon Booklet”, “Pharmacy Booklet”?

      • cheryl

Those are usually home mailers or special booklets you get from certain stores. They do not come from the paper. HTH!

    • cristilee

Is this just for local ppl? I live in Atlanta.

      • Couponj

Some items in the CVS ad vary by region like water, milk, etc but otherwise it is a national ad.

    • JoshuaGriffing

      Dove is Done :(

    • Courtney

The Zephyrhills water must be a regional deal. My local CVS store did not have these and it was not pictured in the weekly ad. They only had Deer Park water for $3.88 w/ $1ecb but I had the coupon for Zephyrhills that I couldn't use :( oh well…

The Dove deodorant is a great deal for only .99c but the coupon is no longer available on the Dove website! (and it was only for .75c, not $1)

      • Jeg77

I was told that Zephyrhills is only in Fla. Everywhere else is Deer Park. They are made by the same company but the coupons are not interchangeable.

    • I ran into CVS late Saturday night. Spent $1.92 used 6 ECB left with 10.30ECB
      4x Dove Deodorant= FREE
Blink eyedrops $7.99- $4 peelie on box= $3.99—got back $7.99 in ECB MONEY MAKER
Edge Shae gel $3.29- $.55 Q= got back $2.30 ECB(I think- it was an odd amount)

It was a small trip, but a very good one!

    • StaceyAnney

I was wanting to do the $5 ECB WYB $15 Clean & Clear product deal and somehow it did not work out right. I am thinking the order of the coupons may have messed it up?
I bought the exact items that was listed in the **deal idea** section above and on my receipt and I didn't get the ECB for it. It says the amt toward this reward was 11.98 and I still had 3.02 needed. It only counted the 2 5.99 items. Please help, I am still new to CVS and ECB :)

      • CoupnCutter

This happened to me today. I turned right around and went back in and pointed out the 3 Clean & Clear products I had purchased and she printed me out a $5 ECB.

        • Merrijg24

Yeah It didnt work out as well for me. They were 6.42 not 5.99 at the CVS near my parents house (visiting for the holidays). I didnt look at the price, just grabbed it and at check out the cashier stated to me that I would only get 5.99 off the buy one get one.

          • Beth

Neither my L'Oreal or Clean & Clear deals worked right today! I've been doing this for 2 years and haven't had this kind of problem since I started! It turns out only certain items of L'Oreal and Clean & Clear are on the deals. My CVS had the signs on items that weren't correct. For the L'Oreal the products of the month long sale won't work for the buy $15 get $5. I had to return my items and then buy a different item even though they had the signs on them! The CVS cashier and manager were just as confused as I was. I just kept the Clean & Clear cleanser I'd bought that wasn't on the deal (even though the sign was up on the product) because I had to be at a family Easter dinner & the 1st refund took so long and was so confusing the the CVS workers (also my daughter needed it). This evening I went to another CVS and bought another Clean & Clear item for $1.79 after my coupons and got the $5 extra value bucks. I'm not sure if the 1st store had the wrong items tagged or if some things were supposed to be in their main CVS computer & weren't or what?

    • CajunCouponDude

Went to CVS this morning. They have the Duncan Hines Brownie Mix Snack Size on sale this week for 12 for $10. Used the .50 cent off coupon that Jenny advised us about last week and ended up paying .33 cents a box

    • Jessdare101

Does anyone know if the standup boxes of klennex are included in the ones that are on sale for .88. I have a coupon that's for the upright boxes only.

      • Babybird125

        no they are not

    • luv2shop

Ran in, got deodorant, paid 23 cents, ran out. I LOVE couponing!

    • carriecoups

I always forget how this works with B2G1…CVS has peanut butter snickers B2G1 free, and I have a couple B2G1 free coupons. Is it that I purchase 3 candy bars and give them one coupon and together with their B2G1 it means I pay for 1 and actually get 2 free??

      • Merrijg24

I did that today, only paid for 2 and got 6. I also scanned my cvs card at the little coupon station and it printed a coupon for .25cents off 2 of the candy bars…so I did good. :)

    • Merrijg24

    • lisa

I went last night to get the deodorant knowing I would not be able to go today and it scanned full price and my coupons expired today. So I did not get any.
Some one told me they will take coupons a couple of days after the expired date. Does anyone know if this is true? Still learning.

      • Kristin

Ask the manager to sign your expiring coupon and staple it to the raincheck, then try to get back in later that week. I have had success with that.

      • Cw

they will take expired extra care bucks….but i don[t think they will on coupons

    • FarmerJill

What are the “rules” with shopping the night before and getting the sales that start Sunday? I know it has something to do with 24 hour stores/ not 24 hour stores.. thought I had seen it in the comments here, but can't seem to find it now. Completely missed out on the free Dove deo today.. the CVS I shop at said they were out by 9am (what?!). I'm thinking I need to try to get a head start on anything with an expiring coupon, otherwise, I'll just wait for a raincheck. Thank you :)

      • Cdg33

I always shop at CVS around 5pm Saturday night. What is cool about that, get both weeks deals. Can only be a non-24 hour store. They don't always like to advertise that the ad is already in the system, and I always get a different answer each time I ask (at the same CVS). Sometimes they tell me 3pm, 6pm, etc. I have always gone in at 5pm, and there has yet to be a problem. Yesterday, I went in at 4pm and prices were already in the system. I have read on here that some people shop at noon on Saturday, but I have yet to go that early. What I usually do is scan an item at the red coupon printer just to make sure it is ringing up. The only thing about shopping Saturday night is that you have to write down very specifically what the deal is and double check at the price scanner. No price tags are usually up at this time. I will never shop at CVS on a Sunday again! Love Saturday shopping!!

        • Emily2hope

I used to work at CVS for 8 years. There are great deals. It depends on when the Manger activates the next weeks ad. My manager would activate the ad at 6pm. So the prices would start at 6:30pm

      • guest

Definitely depends on the store. There is one store about 15 minutes from me and the sale definitely does not start until Sunday morning. There is another CVS about 40 minutes from me and their ad starts on Wednesdays. Weird that there is not a lot of consistency between stores. The best thing to do is ask the manager at the store where you shop.

      • Couponj

A 24 hour store will start the ad at Midnight. A non-24 hour store often starts the evening before.

    • Shantybell

Just rushed out and got my free Dove Deodorant before CVS closed. Paid .07 for tax for a 4.99 stick of deodorant. Yay!

      • PigBetsypen

I got three Dove and had coupons so just paid tax, but had to go to three stores to find any.

    • Dharvn

      17 dove deo w/free trial bw for $1.02 oop…..yay!!!!

my closest cvs was closed. the other cvs was sold out.

soooo I went to WalMart and they price-matched for me. my Walmart was stocked with plenty, so I got 17 deodorants w/free trial sz bodywash attached. i had to do 4 diff transactions since there was a limit of 5 in the cvs ad.

      • guest

How did you get so many coupons?

      • anonymous

Excessive? This is why people end up not getting any when there are a limited number…

      • PigBetsypen

really did you need 17 deo? that is why we could not find any, Please kinda do not go extreme.

        • Wpcmconner

I really think that you need to consider not judging the amount of products others buy. First you do not walk in their shoes. You do not know what the circumstances they live with. You do not know how many people they are supporting or how many people they are helping by donating. Don't pass judgement on someone else and instead take care of yourself and those you love and care for.

    • kristyi

Wasn't planning on going to CVS this week but happy I did.
      Transaction #1
3 nivea body washes (found more $3 off cpns I missed last week)
Total $10 (used $10 EXB) got back $5 ECB
      Transaction #2
      Blink Tears (used $1 off)
Total $7 (pd cash) got back $7.99 ECB
      Transaction #3
2 fuse drinks (used $1/2 cpn)
      2 – 30 count zyrtec (used 2 -$7 mfc cpns)
1 sweet n low (used .35 off mfc cpn)
      Total $33 – $15.35 in cpns – $5 & $7.99 ECB total after $6 (& change)
Not too bad… the 2 bottles of zyrtec alone were $30 & I spent about $11!

    • Jad1128

I thought I remember seeing something about Stayfree Maxi Pads being on sale and then using a coupon and gaining a profit. Help…

      • Aryn

At Walgreens this week they are on sale 2.99 with 1.00 coupon makes them 1.99 and you get a 2.99 RR back.

    • Ctrinkle

I went to buy the Dove men's deodorant and had 3 $1 coupons, but they would only let me use two of the coupons because the deodorant was $.99. Does this sound right? I was purchasing 3 deodorants. I don't remember having this problem before at CVS.

      • tina

no i used 5 coupons they just made the last coupon .95 so only sales tax was left i paid .25

      • Greenfearn

Same thing at my CVS. I am just going to take back two of them and then they will be free like they were supposed to be.

    • Terri Anderson

Stopped by Old Navy on Saturday and cashiers were giving away Post cereal sample boxes. Each box had a $1.25/1 coupon! They gave us about 6 boxes — now looking for the next B1G1 Post sale at Publix. :)
(don't know how long Old Navy will be giving away the cereal… sorry)

      • Caroline

I got two boxes! I didn't open them yet but will be doing that now that I know there are coupons in them!

    • HappyCVSer!

I love CVS! I did transaction 1 and 2 used $7 that I had in CVS giftcards from my CHECKPOINTS app and got back 7.99 in ECB! YAY!

PS. if you don't use the CHECKPOINTS app and you have an IPHONE or ANDROID phone you should use it!! Checkpoints is a free app you download from the market and you get points for scanning everyday grocery store items. The points can be cashed in for giftcards. I use the app religiously since around october of last year and have gotten hundreds of dollars in gift cards and that is no joke (they have lots of stores but I always get mine for CVS and AMAZON)
IF YOU DOWNLOD THE CHECKPOINTS APP USE BONUSCODE…. smile1 and this will give you an extra 300 points to start out with (enough for a 1 CVS gift card already!).
(Using my bonus code smile1 also gives me some extra points to for referring you so thanks in advance if you try it out :)

      • Mom2Three

Thanks for posting this, I heard about this a while back but I could not remember what the application was called. I just downloaded and am going to try it out tonight when I run to the store!

      • Dpoole_0507

Thanks soOoOo much, I will get you a few referrals just for the shared information! Thanks again!!!

    • Marla

went to cvs to just the bogo free on the clean and clear bodywash 5.89 w a $2 off coupon the cashier would not allow. then i went this afternoon and used another bogo free on the clean and clear with a $2 off coupon. thanks for the deal! Awesome!!!!

    • marla

also did get the $5 ECB!

    • Melissa

I just tried to get the Clean and Clear Deal buying 2 morning burst body washes and one pore cleaner totaling $18.17. My ecb credits only show 12.68 for the two morning bursts and did not print my $5 ECB. I know the ad states ANY clean and clear products. How can I get my ECBs? I now this has been put somewhere else in the comments, but I cannot find it. Thanks!

      • Melissa

I called 1800SHOPCVS and the rep. said I should have received the $5 ECB. I will be able to print it from the redbox in 48 hours; for anyone with the same problem call the extra care number above.

      • Gatorginger

I had the same problem so I went to my favorite CVS store and asked them why I didn't get the reward and they were dumb founded but went ahead and printed me the reward. The first store the girl wasn't helpful so that was why I left and went to the one I like better

      • Ecm

I wasn't as lucky…even called the 800 number & I was told that you must spend $15 AFTER coupons in order to receive the ECBs. I inquired about CVS being reimbursed by manufacturers in order to make the difference used by coupons…they said that didn't matter.

    • Sherilturner

Blink Tears at my great, new, wonderful CVS at intersection of 14 and 29 in Greer had a $4 off now coupon on it, which made it a $4 money maker! Thanks, CVS!

    • Burroughs85

So, I am sure there is a better place to post this, but I wasn't sure where to do that since I do not have facebook. I am a middle school math teacher and I honestly didn't learn the true meaning and discipline behind a “budget” until I was married with a family. As an end of the year project, I am wanting to work with my 8th grade classes on a budgeting project. I was just wondering if any of you had any ideas or suggestions you would be willing/interested in sharing! Thanks for your time and consideration!

      • artlady

I love Dave Ramsey’s advice on budgeting and financial matters. I haven’t used his specific budgeting forms, but it looks like you can download a free pdf of some budget forms from his website. Go to daveramsey.com, click on TOOLS, click on “Dave’s Budgeting Forms,” and then you can select to download pdf forms. My husband and I do our monthly budget on a microsoft excel spreadsheet; it works great, and all we have to do is plug in the numbers. Maybe you could even have them create something like that on the computer.

        • Burroughs85

I love Dave Ramsey's materials as well:) Actually, that was what got my husband and I started on a true budget. For our area we have a decent income, but we weren't spending wisely. My mother-in-law was great to help us set up a budget that was sensible and easy to use and had us listen to his CDs…..what a life changing experience! We have paid off so much debt and are now saving for a house….I just wish I would have learned some of this sooner. I am planning to use his recommendations for percentages….another online calculator estimated that my husband and I should spend almost my entire monthly check on housing! That's nearly 35% of our total monthly income…..for 25 years!

      • Holly Bowen

I have an idea, You could give your students a certain budget of “fake money” a week. They should make a list of everything they use daily, such as shampoo, hair styling products, makeup, also food, then they should go to their local store and write down beside each item exactly how much it costs. They can do coupon matchups and see just how much money they have left at the end of the week.

      • Barbara

We were given an assignment like this in one of our economics classes in high school. We were each given a job (of all things, I was a firefighter) with our 'salary' as well as how many kids we had. We had to figure out how much we could spend on housing, utilities, food, transportation, etc. It was a real eye-opening project we did. My mother used coupons even back then, and I was one of a handful of kids that incorporated that into our scenario. As the mom of an 8th grader, thank you for giving them this opportunity to see that money really doesn't grow on trees and is limited.

      • Beth

My daughter did that last year. He class learned to keep a check book. Their teacher copied her bills and let them each have a copy. They were given a direct deposit pay check and all of the bills to pay including groceries for 2 months. She made it as real as possible for the kids.

      • LeAnna

As a person who subs in middle school-I LOVE that you ask this. I don't really have a great project for you. But I believe you could possibly teach a coupon class. Show them how much coupons can help them. Not just store coupons…but resturaunt ones as well! I have taught my children how to use coupons….one of our fave resturaunts has a b1g1free that is easily accesible. We do not go there w/ out it! I wish you luck and hope you post on what you actually do! Good luck!

      • Outtolunchmom

I would give them a fictional salary take out taxes and have them rent an apartment, pay utilities, car expenses, and groceries. Your local power company should be able to give you and average amount spent for a 1 bedroom if there aren't any teachers in you school who live in one. I would also have them find out how much deposits are on all the different utilities. This would be a real eye opener for them. I remember a few years ago when my son called me when he got his first real paycheck. He was shocked at how much of his money went to taxes. After they find out that they have little to no money for food I would show them where they can trim their budget. It always amazes me that so many people with limited income pay over 100.00 month for cable. Good Luck.

Wachovia Bank has resources for teachers that are super. Check out Wachovia.com, maybe search for educator, not sure.

      • Tngirl1955

I am a recently retired middle school teacher. At my school, 8th graders take part in a simulation called Reality StoreSM. You can find this online. It was really an eye-opener for them!!! Students are given a career based on their interests, a salary, and a checkbook. They rotate through various stations & have to make choices to live within their means. We always had community involvement, too. For example, when searching for housing, students met with a realtor. For utilities, they met with a rep from the utilities company to talk about fees for hook-ups and estimated costs. There is some pre-teaching done with checkwriting, budget, etc. Great program that the 8th graders thoroughly enjoy. The actual simulation took one afternoon. Here is a website I found, but I'm not sure how current it is. It does have some contact names though, so that's a start.

Thanks so much for all of your helpful replies! I am planning to introduce the project Friday, and work on it over the next couple of weeks. I'll be sure to share what the students come up with. With this being the first time I'm doing this, I'm sure the students will find stuff I hadn't….ha ha. Thanks again, all of your input and resources really helped out:)

I teach Junior Achievement based programs at the local high school and elementary school, but they have programs for all levels and ages. One hting I do to engage the high schoolers regarding budgets, is we talk about coupons, and budgets. Then each week I try to bring them something that coupons caused to be free or very low priced for me. They like it when I bring gum or candy, and once it was even popsicles. I think many of them went home and showed a parent how coupons could save money. Good Luck to you!! Also feel free to ggogle Junior Achievement and find an office in your state, who might be bale to supply you with a grade specific program (even if for next year).

      • EWags

You should check out Dave Ramsey's website. He actually has a program for children. You could probably get a deal if you contacted his offices. My nephew got it for his home-schooled kids and they understood it clearly. I took his class and thoroughly enjoyed it. He is a good teacher. I only wish I had been taught the power of saving when I was young! You are doing this young people a great service!

    • EFVeslock

The Dove coupon that I printed for $1 reads for body wash, face bar or actiave clean shower tool. Is there another site for the Dove deodrant?

      • Couponj

There Dove Deodorant coupons in the 3/27 Red Plum insert in the newspaper but they expired 4/24. Those are what I used (on 4/24).

    • Slgumm

I didn't have the best experience today at CVS. I don't typically have customer service problems there, but there is one lady who seems to hassle me everytime she checks me out. Today she really wasn't happy about letting me use a $1 coupon to get the .99 cent deo. She adjusted the price of the coupon down to .99, but kept on and on making snide comments about how you shouldn't be able to use it because its more than the product price, and that she shouldn't have to adjust it because its a $1 coupon not a .99 cent coupon. I just stood there with a smile on my face. When I got home I called corporate. First, I made sure that I wasn't violating their coupon policy (I was told I should have been able to use that coupon without a problem) then I reported her for her bad attitude. I was told that the store's district manager would be contacting that store to re-train their employees on the coupon policy, and basic customer service. I hate having to do that, but I spend my hard earned money in that store, and I shouldn't be treated like a criminal.

      • EFVeslock

Did your $1.00 coupon state it was for the deodrant or the body wash?

        • Slgumm

          It was a deoderant coupon.

      • Jana

That drives me nuts because they turn it in and get full price for it. It is really like stealing from US!

      • Tyler

I hate to hear that but sounds like life is like a box of chocolates for that lady. Too little training for retail employees nowadays. The best thing you can do is read up on store policies so you know where you stand and bring it in so you can train their employees for them :/

      • Homeofmurp

I also am going to report a cashier in St Simons Island. She made me rirng up eachdeoderant on a separate order as she felt the coupon meant 1 per customer, not 1 per transation. I was on vacation but will call tomorrow

      • Gatorginger

I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE CLEAN AND CLEAR NOT GIVING ME MY ECB AND THE LADY WHO WAITED ON ME SAID THEY WEREN'T ALL INCLUDED IN THE DEAL. WELL I GOT IN MY CAR AND THE AD SAID ALL CLEAN AND CLEAR SO I JUST DROVE DOWN TO THE NEXT CVS AND WENT IN AND ASKED SOMEONE TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHY I DIDN'T GET THE ECB AND THEY WERE DUMBFOUNDED AND SO PROCEEDED TO PRINT ME ONE UP. I THINK THE CASHIER I HAD WAS TOO LAZY TO DEAL WITH IT BUT THANK GOODNESS TO THE NICE MANAGER DOWN THE ROAD FROM THEM I GOT WHAT WAS DUE TO ME

    • Vikki

So I can use 2 coupons on the bogo razors?

    • Dtcox1

done really good at cvs tues again got i tylene cream 6 dove candy bars 1 3d crest pd 3.83 got back 10.00 in xb for next week also . have a great hump blessed day jenny

      • Gloria

        what coupons did you used

    • Angie C

I noticed on Tuesday that CVS is still running the buy 3 Special K cereals for $3.33 and get $4.00 care bucks back. Pair this with $2.00 off coupon from Special K when you purchase 3 boxes, makes this a great deal. They also raised the limit from 1 purchase per household to 5 per house hold.

    • Cayoung_8

      Question:
If there is a deal for extra care bucks… like get X extra care bucks when you buy XX dollars worth of product and you buy part of your XX but they are out of what you need to finish getting your XX and you get a raincheck, when you go to redeem your raincheck, will it count in the money you already spent this week?

If this is confusing I will use my actual scenario. I bought 2 clean and clear body washes today, but they only had 3 left and by the time I finish everything I need to do at the house, they will be gone, (i had these on a raincheck and dumb me didn't think about the ECB deal while I was AT the store of course) anyway… I have already spent $6 towards the 15. I want to go back and do the rest, but know the store will be out of the body wash. If I get a raincheck for the 5 ECB wys 15 clean and clear, will the $6 I have already spent count toward my 15 in the coming weeks when they do have the product on the shelf?

      • Nymomnfla

Yes, It will work. I puchased 2 airwick items because the store was out and received a raincheck for the other 2 and on the raincheck the ECB was written. I saved my receipt and returned 2 days after the shipment arrived. I purchased the other 2 airwick items showed my receipt and the cashier had to enter the $10.00 ECB reward for me to receive the ECB's. I hope this helps you.

    • Sorry if this was already posted… didn't have time to read all 228 comments! My CVS (45039) had $4 off peelie coupons on the Blink Tears, making this a $4 moneymaker instead of $1!

    • Lzbacnik

Kleenex is .88 cents this week at CVS. Use -.75 cents off Kleenex hand towels SS 3-20 for a total OOP of ……. .13 cents a box
It works, I just bought 4 boxes

      • Kathymomto3

Thanks worked for me too in So. FL. Bought 2 boxes ~ saving them for filling part of next year's school supply list. Thanks again!

    • Zrjsval

Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lip Color was $7.99 at our Flowery Branch, GA store. With a $2 off coupon and $2 ECB made it $3.99 each not $.49-$1.49:(
