Not a great CVS week….disappointed with last weeks ad also!

    • Rebecca Barker

Where do you get a Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet?

      • This is a booklet that can be picked up at Kroger pharmacies.

        • SchoonCR

Usually sitting out? OR, was it available sometime only in the past? I have checked the 2 local Krogers, and 1 in montgomery, AL, and have not found them.

        • Ahpeal

Would anyone be willing to mail me one (or two) of these? I keep seeing it referenced, but I don't live near a Kroger. Let me know & I'll send you my email. Thanks!!

        • Kay

Jenny, I started couponing in Jan. I've asked at both my local Kroger stores and nobody knows what I'm talking about when I ask for this booklet. :( Do you ask at Customer Service or the Pharmacy? Thanks for all you do for us!!!

          • Karen

I asked at 4 different Kroger pharmacies before anyone knew what I was talking about. It was behind/under the counter and they would only give me one (I usually do ask if I can have 2, since that seems to be an acceptable limit amongst ethical couponers). The next time I went to that Kroger, I asked again (different pharmacist) and he said they didn't have any. Count yourself lucky if you were able to get one or more of these elusive booklets.

    • Benjamietaylor

So,I am pretty new to this…tell me about the CVS coupon printing center…Thanks!

      • Leaz

There is a small red and yellow kiosk in your CVS. Just scan your extra care card and it prints out coupons! I've found them to only be useful about 50% of the time, but it's always worth checking!

        • nancycrom

And check at your CVS, mine honors them for up to a month after expiration date.

    • laura

Taking a break this week, thank goodness!

    • Couponing Rocks!

If your deals start on Saturday there is a $1.00 off the Colgate Max toothpaste that expires 4/30 that you can use if you don't have the All You coupon. I have to of them I am planning using, but don't see a whole lot else.

      • FreedomSpradley1

Some stores will accept expired coupons within a couple days of expiration. Ask before you try to use an expired coupon because this policy varies by store.

    • CCShad

Great week for deals on some practical household goods! Thanks, Jenny

    • susan

Can u really combine coupons like that? What are the rules?

      • Nona

You can use ONE manufactures coupon and ONE CVS store coupon for EACH item! Hope that helps!

    • S_macinty

What is home mailer? And what is the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet? How can you use the booklet? What does it have in it?

    • Orcabug

I can't find my ECB from last week anywhere! Will they replace them or am I out of luck??

      • Fgavent

Have you registered your card at CVS.com? If so, log into your account and see if the ECB’s are listed. You should be able to contact CVS and have them replaced if they are listed. Good Luck!

      • Fgavent

Have you registered your card at CVS.com? If so, log into your account and see if the ECB’s are listed. You should be able to contact CVS and have them replaced if they are listed. Good Luck!

      • I had lost one from a couple weeks back.
Call 1-800-SHOPCVS and they will re-issue the ECB so that it prints from the coupon machine.

        hth!

        • Orcabug

Thanks for the info. I called them and they said they could not replace them. The lady was very nice though and is sending a one time courtesy coupon for $10. My ECB's were worth $15 so it almost makes up for it.

    • Ronicat

Past 2 ads I've had to ask for rainchecks because the items that were fully stocked the day before the sale started are not only gone, but the tags for them are gone and their spots are replaced with other items as though they were never there…Asked the cashier and he explained (without even flinching) that knowing the sale ad begins Sunday, they restock the shelves Saturday evening removing any sale items…He was kind of pleased about it for some reason? I just don't get it…I'm sitting on several rainchecks but they just will not restock the items that folks are wanting (i.e. Dove Men+Care Deodorant, Reach Toothbrushes, Reach Floss, etc)…Its really starting to get me down as I'm new to couponing and wishing I could get a few deals to push me to keep doing it…*sigh*

      • Arienjw3

if i woere you i would contat corpret about that

      • blaire

bless your heart! is there another cvs that is close that you could try? i have about 5 cvs's within 3 miles from my house so if one is out I just go to another one. sometimes it's easier to call ahead and see if they have the product and if they have it ask them to put it on hold for you. also, ask them if they would get the product for your from the back of the store, my cvs has done that for me a few times. hope you get your deals. i know how frustrating it is to sit on rainchecks i had to wait for several weeks for the clean and clear body wash and oral b floss! good thing is their rainchecks never expire so when that man decides to put the products back out (or when your in another area) you can use them!

      • kittie

You might could try to call corporate or something,..seems like they'd get in trouble for that. And I know that's annoying b/c you're coupons will expire waiting on the items to get stocked!

      • Loess77

I went to a cvs that seemed to have done the same thing. I looked over the shelves several times and there wasn't even a spot for where the item might be….I have written corporate complaining about the availability of product in the stores in my area. They do send a letter back just saying they will look into it as far as having enough products available. I did not notice the shelves being relabeled until I stopped in a store I've never been in today. I don't get why they even advertised to use coupons with items to get them for extra cheap when they have like a handful on the shelf for one week and thats it. I am pretty sure they don't restock on purpose hoping you will give up. Luckily they honor expired coupons with the rainchecks.

        • mommyof1

my cvs had a problem with the aveeno deal.. seemed like items on the ad were different than the ones in the store.. which completely messed me up as i had coupons for specific items and was unable to use them.. i just forgot about the whole thing.. not even a place on the shelf for the items listed.. i understand not everything can be in stock.. but 3 cvs stores and labels werent even on the shelf.

      • Lisa

I know what you mean, I sit here and plan my whole shopping and then I get there and NONE of the things on my list are in the store. I did get rainchecks at walgreens- but that is a big to-do- a manager has to come out etc etc. Im still waiting for razors to be restocked in publix from 3 weeks ago, my coupons expire on sunday. I hate getting rainchecks.

        • Gatorginger

I heard publix will let you go ahead and pay for the item before they get it in so your coupon doesn't expire so if your willing to pay for it before it comes in ask your publix if they do that, I've read some have had success with this

        • Sarah

yes, last week was my first “start” at couponing, planned literally two days straight haha and i went to two walgreens — first had not ONE item i needed, so the second walgreens i went to a 24 hour walgreens right at midnight sunday morning cuz i was determined not to get screwed over again lol. too bad that store has a different coupon policy that doesnt use rewards :( i also went to a rite aid saturday evening (not even close to when they were closing) and they had already changed allll the pricing and sales on the items..it was way too confusing to know how much the item would be after coupons when i didnt even know what the starting price was! i almost gave up right then and there lol. they also cant do rain checks on the register rewards anyways so i dont think i'll even bother going to these stores if its not sunday or monday

        • mommyof1

yes, i am a new couponer and most of the time my cvs has the majority of items.. but wouldnt you know it, almost everything i have been wanting from publix or cvs concerning deodorant and razors were completely wiped out this week. it is quite disappointing when you spend so much time and they are out of everything you want.. dont they know that week after week these items are going to be gone early?? its like.. what only 4 packages of razors fit on the hook so thats all your gonna put out for 7 days? and toothpaste and toothbrushes are usually gone as well.. i never go in to buy more than one or 2 of an item (unless the deal will need more, but usually not).. if i want more, i will go to a different store unless that current store has plenty… but thats just me

      • Bryarsmom

Ronicat-you are aware many CVS stores sales actually start on Sat afternoon-right? All our local ones do…there may be some other seasoned Q'ers lurking in your neighborhood, ready to pounce when the deals are loaded in their registers. That would certainly account for the lean shelves…

      • Bev

They are betting that folks will come in for the sale item and then buy something else since they are there anyway. It is one of the oldest gimmicks and it is extremely frustrating if you “need” that item right away. However – this is where steady couponing pays off if you have built your stockpile. Just take the raincheck and then don't even bother checking back for the item for 3-4 weeks. Don't stress about it. After a few weeks, do a database check (you never know, some better coupons may have been issued since the sale) and then take your raincheck to the store to do the deal.

btw- I am not advocating extreme stockpiling as we have all seen on these TV shows lately – just a 8-10wk supply of non-perishables to use until the next sales cycle. It takes a little bit to get going, but once you are rolling, it is amazing. I currently spend about $15-40/wk to feed a family of 4 and that is mostly spent on meat and fresh veggies. Some weeks I don't have to shop at all.

    • luiza

I just installed internet explorer 9 and since then i cannot open the coupon database. It says the site is running a too long script. Anyone has ever had this problem? Could you share some tips on how to solve it? The database has always been slow for me even before this update, but now I can't open it at all. Thanks for any suggestios.

      • cahugh4

Internet Explorer 9 is still in the beta testing stages and is still incompatible with ALOT of programs and sites. This is your problem. I do tech support for a site and we have this problem all the time. You will need to uninstall IE9. If you are using a computer running windows, you will need to go to your control panel and go to add/remove programs. Since IE9 is not its own program yet it will not show in the programs list. You will need to select “show updates” and you will see “Windows Internet Explorer 9” under that list. When you uninstall the update, it will revert back to either IE7 or 8.

        • luiza

Thank you so much for such a detailed reply, I really appreciate it.

        • Linda

Thank you!! I downloaded IE 9 a couple of months ago!! Bad idea, I couldn't read my aol mail, i couldn't print some things. I couldnt enter in my timesaheet. So I had to download google chrome, maybe I should have download foxfire? Anyway, Thanks now I have IE 8. Thanks again!!

      • Lori

I would install fire fox as well and then use them both! That's what I do!

      • Sarah

you should really use firefox in my opinion, IE is known for viruses! I just had to install it last week to open up a site that wasnt loading on firefox, and what do you know – 2 days later i had 2 major viruses on my computer that i have yet to be able to get rid of :( it also runs a lot slow for me than firefox does, just a suggestion :)

        • luiza

Sarah, to you and all who replied to my computer troubles, a big thank you! You can not imagine how many problems I've had with viruses, besides the slowness while using certain sites, which drives me crazy. I appreciate the suggestions.

    • Jen H

I can't figure out how to get the Maxwell House International Cafe coupons. The link takes you to Home Shopping Network but I don't see anywhere to get a coupon. Also, are the Dove Men+Care Deo coupons gone? It's giving ones for body wash now.

    • Dtcox1

    • jenjim4

The coupon for the Butterfingers says available at Walgreens and Rite Aid would I be able to use this at CVS?

      • lawman

yes… it is a manufacture coupon.

    • Lisa

What does she mean by Select PG Products booklet? Is that a specific insert and if so when did that come out? Or does it mean it is in certain of the other PG booklets? Thanks for the clarification

      • Yuliyaporter

I find mine in boxed Pampers… lots of great coupons

      • Megan

If it's the same one she's talking about I got mine mailed to me a while ago, I think in January. I requested it on the P&G website.

      • Sue Mckellar

Got mine in pkgs of Duracell batteries.

    • Megan

      Here's what I'll be getting:

      1 Ivory Soap 3-pack $1
      2 Colgate toothpaste $5.54

      – (1) $1/1 Ivory q

      oop: $5.54
      get back $5.54 in ECB!

    • Crafty_cat_86

There's a colgate toothpaste coupon coming out this Sunday, no? It's in the coupon database…

      • Megan

Looks like that one's for the Max White Sonic or 360 Toothbrush.

      • FreedomSpradley1

We received mid-week SS inserts and it includes a .75/1 Colgate Toothpaste 40oz or larger.

        • FreedomSpradley1

Supposed to be 4 oz not 40. Oops!

    • Amanda

Hey, I didn’t see the deal on NYC cosmetics up there, but there’s definitely some savings when you buy NYC. I’m going to be purchasing 2 nail polishes (regular price: $1.99, so $4.00 for two) and one will be 50% off, so now we’re at $3.00, Yet there is also a printable coupon for a dollar off NYC cosmetics on coupons.com, so you get your total down to 2.00…basically it becomes buy one get one free. You can do this with any of their products, not just the nail polish as long as they’re around 1.99 or so.

I don’t know if this is gonna help anyone, but if you’re like me and love any and all nail polish, then this deals for you. :)

    • Khall531

Does anyone know how I can get the Starbucks coupon booklet mentioned above?

      • Sarah

i think you can sometimes find them at the starbucks shops in target…but as with most of the booklets, it varies widely depending on where you live

      • Chumuckla56

There is a Starbucks c/o in the Moments to save booklet in tomorrow's paper.

    • Minpinfin

Those of you that received survey invitations for this coming Sunday-to compare CVS and WGS ads-be sure to complete yours as instructed.
      There's $10 ECB's in it for you!!!

      • Beverly

How did you get the survey?

        • Minpinfin

Came in my email a few days ago.

    • Exsquid22

Hello everyone. I have a quick question. I was lucky enough to get a 25% off my entire purchase coupon to print from the red box. I have never used one of these before. Could someone tell me when the best time to present this coupon is. Before, after coupons, before or after store coupons etc. Thankyou. I am just mainly curious to know if the 25% comes off pre coupons, so I can get a better deal.

Anyway thanks for any help you might be able to send.

      • Powder5

I would give it as the first coupon, so you get 25% off before the other coupons are taken off.

      • Jnn_horan

Usually those %off coupons excludes sale items, so you might want to check that.

      • Tonya

I had one of these recently and discovered that it did not cover any item that was on sale. Be careful. Unfortunately it doesn't actually transfer into such a great deal when you can't use it on sale items.

      • ClaireWait

I save these to get a good deal on diapers when they aren't on sale but I have coupons to use.

      • Aimee

Jenny says you ALWAYS give these FIRST.

    • Syndilew

No one has mentioned it but there is also the B1G1 Herbal Essences q stacked with the $1/1 from the P+G Booklet makes for a pretty decent deal!

      • Jacketfan24

I think the B1G1 expires on the 30th…I used mine at Walmart this week so it wouldn't expire and no one had them on sale at the time. Maybe that's why it's not listed?

    • Lizzita182

I read theres a BOGO Q for 32 oz Gatorade coming this Sunday w/ BOGO sale =FREE

      • Chumuckla56

So can you use get 4 free using 2 BOGO coupons. Or is there a limit to the number of BOGO coupons you can use?

    • A helping hand

Hello Everyone, for those who live in the south that were effected by the horrible torandos now is a great time to think of some you have bulk of and donate to shelters there!!! My daughters school in Woodstock GA is doing it and I am very grateful for Jenny and this site because I have put together a HUGE box to donate with shampos toothepaste toothbrushs deoderants and much more!! • Bootermom

YEAH!

      • lisa

i got my 1.50 off also i amalso stocking up thanks

      • Couponing Rocks!

Got these & just bought 2 for 1.35 total including tax. Thanks for the tip!

    • Sarah

i'm still confused whether “limit 2, 4, etc” refers to how many rewards you get back OR how many products you can buy

      • Val

It's how many rewards you will get back. You can purchase as many as you want, but the rewards are tied to your card once you reach the limit they'll stop printing.

    • Sarah

confused as to why in your transaction you would buy two colgate toothpastes, if just 1 gives you RR back, wouldnt you purchase them separately in order to get two RR?

      • Val

The limit is 2 so, you can purchase both of them in the same transaction to get one reward totaling: $5.54 ($2.77+$2.77)

        • Sarah

ok thanks for both answers :) i might just do 2 transactions anyways since its easier to roll smaller amounts

    • Mccl222

Where can i find the Get more from your Pharmacy booklet???

      • DebTN

        Kroger.

        • Mccl222

Hey I went to Kroger and asked about the booklet and the lady helping had no idea what i was talking about??? Thank you

          • ym

they are supposed to have it at the Kroger pharmacy, but everytime I ask, they look at me like I have 2 heads and they tell me they have never heard of the book. I think this book came out a long time ago and is probably not around anymore. Maybe they will put out a new one?

    • On herbal essence if I use P&G MQ for $1 off when you buy two- can I use 2 – 1 on each bottle or do I need to buy 4 bottles to use the 2 coupons?

      • DebTN

You would need to buy 4 bottles.

      • Debo0123

I had a B1G1 AND $1 off and used both.

      • Sarah

if you want to use a coupon that says $1 off of two, then you have to buy two for each of that coupon. if you had two coupons that just said $1 off any, then you could use one per product

      • Aczek16

it depends on the cashier. sometimes (the people who are in the “i dont care” mood) just override it and allow you to use 2 $1 off 2 coupons and sometimes they point it out and say you cant do it. i always try it and if they say you cant do it, well you can always buy 4!(:

    • lawman

Can you use the $1 off Charmin Megaroll bath tissue coupon for the Charmin Basic, 12 ct., Ultra Strong or Ultra Soft Bath Tissue, 9 ct.deal?

The product on sale is not the mega roll but I hear that coupons similar to the product (and by the same manufacture) will still scan. Seems a little unethical, to me, to try and use coupon for the wrong product. Or is this common practice and accepted by the stores and manufactures?

      • CCShad

I don't think the Basic is a Megaroll, but not sure about the other 2 kinds. I wouldn't use the coupon unless it was a Megaroll.

      • tygirl13

Absolutely only use coupons for items as stated. The 9 ct may be megaroll. Southersavers is not able go to every single store to verify every single detail of products that are on sale. They post possible coupon match-ups. There is still a personal responsibility to use coupons ethically. You are right that it is very unethical to use a coupon for the wrong product.

Between Extreme Couponers and unethical coupon users, I wouldn't be surprised if manufacturers cut back on coupons issued.

    • Jillian-m

Where do you get the Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet

      • Tammy

that's what I would like to know also..:)

        • Mookie350

It was a mailed coupon booklet from a couple months back…sign up for P&G Everyday Solutions and they will mail you books all the time, plus you can register for some specific coupons and some samples for now.

          • mommyof1

i have signed up for this a while back.. and never received one.. so signed up again at my other address – email and a different home.. again, never getting one.. any one else have this problem?? and i signed up months ago

            • Jennifer

I had this problem as well. I emailed P&G on the contact us section of their website to let them know I had requested my coupon booklet, it never came, and it was also keeping me from requesting them again. They immdiately emailed back that they would correc the problem and were mailing me something extra as well. I shortly received a letter apologizing for the misake with a bunch of extra coupns–$1 offs and FREE items! Then about a week later I received the original coupon booklet as well!

    • tori729

So Herbal Essences can be free (actually .02 mm) if you can shop tonight and with these coupons: B1G1 from insert, $1/1 from P&G booklet.
      2.98*2 = 5.96 – 2.98 (b1g1 q) – 1.00 -2 ecb = -.02

      • Sarah

well all stores are different, mine doesn't change the pricing in the computer until sunday when the ads states (or at midnight if its 24 hour cvs). also, you should see if your ECB cover tax because they wont usually let you use coupons if its makes the total negative. it says that on the cvs tips page at the top as well. you could always buy a filler item like a piece of candy. i never say money maker when talking about cvs because of this, unless its a money maker due to a mail in rebate or receiving ecb back.

        • tori729

Just did this deal and it worked fine. It's not technically a negative balance because you get ecb back which is what makes it a .02 mm. (The $2eb in the scenario up there is what you get back.) Sorry, guess I wasn't being clear.

          • Sarah

oh duh, totally missed that part lol. wait so you can shop for the next week's deal the day before? all the stores i've been to will start changing the sale price tags but say that it wont have that price in the register til sunday

            • Earnjr8fan

If they have the tags up and they are not a 24 hour store they should honor them. I always scan the product at the coupon center to see if it is ringing up already or not. I can always get the next weeks deals Saturday evening. You just have to watch your receipt to make sure that you get your ECB. They don't always print so they may have to do it manually. They tell me it is because they have 2 ads going on at once and they are nice about printing them for me.

      • Couponing Rocks!

I just got back from CVS & the problem with the toothpaste deal is that it is on sale this week for 1.97. The computer looks at this weeks and next weeks sale and attempts to give you the best price, but doesn't take ECB's into account. Since it is 2.77 next week, it will give you the 1.97 price. If you have a great CVS team like I have at mine, they will override this, make the price 2.77 and then force out you ECB's.

        • Lacy

I had the same problem today with the toothpaste. I wanted to use the coupon today since it expired today, but the cashier wouldnt override the $1.97 price. Since my coupon was for $1 off, the toothpaste only cost me .97, but still that's not as good as free! :(

        • Jen H

I must have had the best cashier ever! I got 2 for 1.97 each, used a $1 and a $.75 coupon. I asked him about the ECBs and he manually printed 2 for me. They will only print in even dollar amount so he gave me $3 ECB for each. I made almost $4 on this deal!

      • Tnjcent

What insert did you use for the B1G1??? Hoping to use it too!

    • Couponing Rocks!

Just got back from a money making trip to CVS! I love these weeks. It took a little effort and a wonderful CVS manager, but here's how it went.

      Bought:
      Always Pads 3.99
      2 Colgate Toothpastes 2.77 each = 5.54
      2 Softscrub Totals 1.99 each = 3.98
      Tax = 1.25
      Total before coupons = 14.76

      Used:
2.00 off Always Infinity (expired today)
2 – 1.00 off Colgate Max (expired today)
      2 – 1.50 off Softscrub Totals
      7.00 in ECB's

      Total OOP = .76

      Received 9 in ECB's (3,4,1,1)
I received a $3.00 ECB for the toothpaste because when they force print it it rounds up to the nearest dollar. I received a 4.00 ECB for the 2nd toothpaste because she accidentally punched in 4.00 instead of 3.00 and told me I could keep it. One dollar for the pads, & the final 1.00 was for my 4th green bag tag scan.

      Total OOP .76
      Plus ECB's spent 7.00
      Less: ECB's earned 9.00
      Net Profit = 1.24

Let me say it again – the management team at my CVS is absolutely wonderful!

    • Going in first thing in the morning for the coffee and All detergent. Going in with $5 of ECBs and the associated product coupons and should walk out spending $1 in each transaction.

    • Lacy

I have a comment on the Metamucil deal listed above. My sale paper has it listed get $2 EB's WYB Metamucil at $9.99. Using the $1 off coupon makes it cost $6.99. Not as good a deal considering it was a small size and you can get the Equate brand at walmart for only about $1 more for twice the amount. Maybe in other areas the sale price is the $6.99, but not at mine.

    • Mookie350

can I use a B1G1 for Old spice body wash and a $1 off Old Spice Body Wash, both are manufacturers coupons?

      • tygirl13

Yes, give the $ off coupon and then the B1G1 coupon. I think CVS addresses this in the “unofficial coupon policy” in the upper right hand corner. The logic is that the $ off is for the B1 and the B1G1 is for the G1. Two items, two coupons. hth

        • Mookie350

          thanks

      • Jessica

you should be able to use both coupons since you have 2 items but I don't shop at CVS very often but I know that is how it works at Walgreens

      • Lynnd36

the cvs in north carolina wont let you.

    • Mookie350

do I need to do them in a certain order for it to work?

    • Mookie350

A couple of the clerks at our two CVS's inspect the coupons like crazy, so even if you really can do this they probably wouldnt let me… I hope they are not working tomorrow

    • Yari1123

There is a .50c coupon for the Dawn dishwashing liquid with Olay in the P&G Insert which is on sale for .99 making it .49!!!!!! :)

    • Brandy

If an Extra Care Deal says “Limit 2”, does that mean you can purchse 2 deals in one transaction and get the two ECB rewards, or do you have to make 2 different transactions to get both rewards? Also, is 2 the limit per transaction, per day, or at all?

      • Jennifer

You can do 2 in one transaction or split them up. I like to do split them up and use the ECB from the 1st transaction to pay for the 2nd transaction!

      • aczek16

Jennifer is right, but the “limit two” sale is per CVS card.

    • Christina

What is the cvs coupon center?

      • Rebecca

red box, like a price-checker, visible from the front door usually, you scan your extra care card there before you shop (for any coupons that usually print at the end of your first transaction)

      • Lynnd36

i have no idea but i would like to know to. i know they have a machine there were you can scan your cvs card but that is the only one i know of.

        • Crafty_cat_86

That's what she's talking about hth!

    • Dosthoff

Anyone know if the Lays chip deal, buy 3 get $1ECB, is still working?

    • LULU911

Does any know how many “B1G1 Free” coupons you can use in one transaction? TIA = )

    • Adrian G Davila

Hi, has anyone try using two $3/2 patene coupons to buy two pantenes? If it works it couble possibly come out to .96 cents and get back $1 EB

      • joanna00

You would have to buy 4 bottles in order to use 2 of those coupons because each coupon requires you to buy 2 bottles.

        • Adrian G Davila

          thanks for the fyi!

      • Lynnd36

im in north carolina and our cvs will not let us use more then one coupon if they are both manufacturer coupons. why is that ??

        • Sheila

NO store will allow you to use more than one mfr coupon on an item. If you're going by Jenny's match-ups above, keep in mind that she lists all of the available coupons for that product. You have to choose the best ONE that you have for your own deal. Each store will allow 1 mfr + 1 store coupon per item. Using more for the one item is coupon fraud. Adrian's $3/2 coupon requires 2 products for 1 coupon. Using 2 of those on 2 products is coupon fraud. You have to purchase 4.

        • Riley

          Because they follow the rules.

    • My SS today has a $3 off the Bic Solei

      • Adrian G Davila

yeah thanks, I see it in there too. Makes it comes out to .99 for the razor cause of the $3 EB

        • Christina

If you go to Publix to get Bic Soleil razors they are bogo so it makes them 2.75 and use the $3 coupon and so you get overage to use towards something else

          • Fayettevilleinc

I had 5 coupons for the razor and at Publix in Fayetteville Ga the gave me .45 to walk out the door… love getting money to leave the store….

      • HUDSON4

        WHAT STATE R U IN?

        • Sam

          its in houston,tx paper too

      • jezzika

        Free at Publix

    • Amy J.

Did my CVS trip this morning…..I bought:
      1 Colgate SmartFoam (whitening) $2.77
      1 Mr. Clean Magic Eraser 2pk. $3
      1 Mr. Clean Multi-surface 40 oz. $3
1 Swiffer Sweeper dry cloth refills 16 ct. $4
      coupons used:
      -$1 colgate
      -.75 mr clean magic eraser
      -.75 mr clean cleanser
-$2.00 swiffer sweeper dry cloths refill (received in P&G product)
      -$7.99 ECB
      subtotal 28cents
      total w/ tax $1.17
      received $5.77 back in ECB's ($2.77, $3)
pretty-good considering i've been wanting to buy the magic eraser and i do not have today's coupons yet :-)

      • Lynnd36

i got the magic eraser to but they would not let me use but one of my coupons.

    • NewCouponer

Is anyone else able to print the Nivea Lip 2/2 coupon? When I press the link to go to facebook the lip care isn't on there.

      • Amy J.

It's probably not showing up because there are no longer any prints available for that coupon…..I went to Nivea on FB and it didn't show up for me either. HTH!

    • Jen H

I can't get the Maxwell House International Cafe coupon. The link takes you to home shopping network ad but don't see a coupon. Can anyone help?

    • RadioRobin

The Right Guard deal seems to only be the body wash, not the deodorant, which is what I needed…are there regional variations at CVS?

      • Vikki

I am in Central PA, the right guard deo. was listed at my store but I couldn't find the darn coupon.

    • Lynnd36

can anyone tell me what a cvs pharmacy booklet is ???

      • Lori

I was wondering about this also for the Colgate deal

    • Dtcox1

i have asked for a month at cvs in v a about the pharmacy booklet . they say never have got theirs in mail to hand out .even the employees said they would like to have one to use and save ……………….. oh well?

    • Odinvsaver

went to cvs today. bought two colgate toothpaste for $2.77. i added two .75 coupons that were in ss inserts for 5/1. after $5.54 in eb, cvs paid me $1.50 to buy the toothpaste. yeah! :)

    • Cindycberg

Had a great day at CVS. Thanks Jenny. After doing my regular shopping I went back because my daughter was out of conditioner. I bought the Soliel razor first with a $3.00 coupon so I spent $4.00 on it and got 3 ECB's back, so I really paid $1.00. Then with the bucks and coupons I bought a Pantene shampoo and conditioner which was supposed to be on sale for 2/$6.97 and you get $1.00 ECB back. But at the counter it rang up as 2 for $5.97 and I got back 2ECB's! Yay!

    • Crafty_cat_86

    • jrenee

Not sure where to post this, so I'll just post it here. I am finally seeing the fruits of my couponing efforts. I live in Alabama, and thankfully, my home and family were spared from any tornado damage. So this is a perfect opportunity to clean out my stockpile of toiletry items, most of which were either free or money makers, and donate them to those who have lost everything. It is wonderful to be able to bless others in their time of great need. I would encourage everyone to do the same. Thank you, Jenny, for all of your hard work that makes this possible for me. Please keep praying for those affected by the storms. Thank you!

      • Rebecca D

I'm in Atlanta, and I did the exact same thing today! I came up with all kids of household & baby items I had a nice “stash” of! My stuff is headed toward Cullman, AL in someone's car tomorrow! Great reason to deplete the stockpile a bit, right?

      • Crazy4mykidsalways

I took a truck load to my hometown in Ashville last Thursday (the Shoal Creek area was hard hit). The guys almost freaked out. I told them I had a few things in my car – when he opened the back of the truck, he said “HEY – somebody find some handtrucks or something.” LOL

    • Coupongal18

Pretty good trip to CVS this AM BUT I'm disappointed because I realized one of my coupons didn't get taken off once I got home – it was the coupon that if you bought the Olay bodywash with Secret, you got $4.00 (this was in my area – Jenny had orignially had $3.00 so I was even MORE excited to use it )…it wouldn't scan right so I was telling the lady I didn't want it if I couldn't use the coupon and she interuppted me to say she had given it to me…Well, when I got my total, I thought it was high but I was in a hurry and didn't question it…..

      Here is what I bought:
      (1) Olay Ribbons body wash
      (1) secret deodorant
      (2) Right Guard Deo.
      (2) Colgate Toothpaste

      Total before: $25.86
After coupons and ECB's, my total was $5.34 – well, she didn't take the $4.00 off, or my toal would have oonly been $1.34, which was awesome …..but, I guess $5 for all of that isnt' that bad – just don't think it's worth the $4 to go back – that is a gallon of gas unfortunately……

      • Lotusblossom262

there's a third item you have to buy to get the $4 off. It says one Secret, and one Olay Bar, and one Olay hand and body lotion.

I was disappointed when I saw that.

      • sandraj

I alway check my receipt when I get back in the car. One day I had to go back in twice. Right now every dollar counts.

        • Coupongal18

I usually do the same thing but I was in a rush yesterday….that's my first mistake…i should know not to try to do it in a hurry….oh well…..I definitely learned from it!!!!!!!!

        • Gatorginger

Yeah me too always check your receipt in the store or in your car before you leave

      • amy

The reason the coupon didn't work for the Olay body wash is because you were supposed to buy the body wash, secret deo and olay lotion. The only lotion I could find at my cvs was $9.99, so the coupon wasn't worth it.

    • Gmom

New to this. When it says $5 ECB WYB $15 Eucerin or Nivea Products, is the $15 before coupons or after?

      • Mel

        Before.

        • Gmom

          Thx!

          • Mel

            No problem. Happy shopping!

      • tygirl13

        before

    • Gmom

Another stupid question. Would CVS accept a Rite-aid coupon or vice versa? or just manufact coupon?

      • Lovecoupons

        No, just Manufacture coupons.

        • Lori

Can you only use one manufacture coupon per product? I'm wondering how the Cover Girl or Tampax deal works with only 1 product and 2 (or more) coupons

          • Guest

Lori….she is just showing you all of the coupons available for that product. You are correct in that you may use 1 man. coupon and 1 store coupon per item. Hope that helped!

      • apowell

        only manufacturer's coupons

    • Cblouin77

Did anyone get a coupon in todays paper for a free gillete deo if you buy the body wash? I used it today and bought a $3.99 body wash and got $11.29 back because they allowed me to buy the clinical strength doe with it! Definitely a score!

      • Vikki

I'm confused? 11.29 back on what?

      • Hschmid82

pretty sure thats coupon fraud considering the coupon says free deoderant up to $4.99 value…….

    • Stacy5060

What is a in store dispenser coupon

      • Vikki

The big red machine that price checks. Scan your cvs card and it gives coupons.

      • amy

The big red box is the coupon center. An in store dispenser is usually located on the aisle with that particular item. Like the blinkie machines at the grocery store…..the black box with the blinking light on top…

    • Lisa2382

Hi I was wondering where you find the proctor and gamble 110 booklet referenced several times. Thanks!

      • Cathy5kids

That is a booklet we got by buying their products & sending receipts to the company.

      • Gatorginger

If you go the the proctor and gambel we site you may be able to get one as I did the receipt thing but I also signed up for it there and got two one for my receipts and one for signing up

    • guest

Does anyone know if the Frito Lay chip deal is this week also?

    • guest

Would like to go straight from page top to comments like it used to be, after looking at the ad–like to go back several times to just read comments!

    • BoonaMom

i am relatively new to couponing, especially at CVS. is this a decent price on toilet paper and tampons, or should I wait to use my coupons later?

      • MomofE&E&I

Toilet Paper – yes! Tampons – you can do better unless you need them immediately.

      • Leilapearcy

My P&G booklet had a $2 off coupon on Tampax Pearl 18 ct. or larger. That makes them $3.99. Personally, I think that is not a bad price for those. For the most part, I am not brand specific, but these are the only tampons I will use.

    • MustangLadyred

B1G1 Dry Idea or Right Guard product, max $4.49, RP 5/01

This coupon was not in the paper in Lynchburg, VA

      • Exsquid22

Not in Roanoke, VA either :(

      • tvgphillips

Wasn't in the Chattanooga, TN paper either, bummer.

      • amy

Wasn't in the Washington Post either.

    • Rubydon200

Does anyone know if CVS takes foodstamps and if so would the deals still work the same?

      • apowell

yes..you can use food stamps and they also accept coupons towards food stamps toward food item purchases however usually there is a $.01 charge per coupon at most stores when using food stamps

        • Fallaya

Sure you can! And you'll get the promised ECB's (if applicable) too.

      • msivory20

I've always been kind of embarrassed to ask that question at the store myself but I have often wondered, but it seemed like it would be too good to be true, ya know? :) But if you guys are saying that you have done it and it works fine with no kinks then I might try it. We need all the help we can get :)

      • Kenzbug

I read a post on Southern Savers a while back ago from someone who said they buy food at CVS and pay with food stamps, then uses the ECB's to buy diapers and personal care items.

    • Medievalchic007

Does anyone know if I can do this? I'm new to this coupon thing.

Febreeze Noticebles 3.99 in ad. puchase 2.
      Use two $1 coupons.
      Use B1G1 coupon

Or did I miss the point? LOL

      • also, do you know if this is included in the “Spend $10 get $3 ECB”?

      • Moms-coupons

You can use the B1G1 and one of the $1 coupons. You can't apply a dollar off coupon to the free item from coupons like B1G1 or B2G1, etc. You can use one manu. coupon per item, and the B1G1 applies to one item…the one you are getting free. You can use a $1 for the one you are buying though. Hope that helps!

      • You can use the BOGO Q & 1 — $1 off /1 coupon. At least at most stores you can, sometimes it is a ymmv situation.

    • Anyone willing to help me today for my first trip out? facebook me please?

    • Leilapearcy

We had a $.75 off any Colgate in the SS this week!!! I was excited to see that since I did not have either of the coupons that Jenny had listed.

    • Shanta3380

At CVS scan your card of the coupon center then you first go in sometimes it will give you coupons for stuff that is on sale that week if it isn't on sale that week the product should be on sale before the coupon expires

    • Dtcox1

jenny love love cvs in v a the people are wonderful there//// went this morning got a few things 41.63 for 12.39 and made 7.00 in bucks …. good good for me ha ha they is another cvs in v a about 10 mile from me . they have higher prices on some things i buy in my cvs . dont know why that is but all cvs may be a little different . like candy one cvs is 89 a bar another one 79 abar and not on sale .so always watch that.

    • Robin

what's the difference between “CVS coupon center” and “in store dispenser”

      • Jen D.

CVS coupon center is the tall red machine box where you scan you extra care card and it prints out coupons for CVS. An in store dispenser is sometimes called a “blinkie”, think of those little black boxes that have a red blinking light on them at the grocery store that dispenses a coupon. hope that helps. :)

        • Robin

          Thank you soooo much

    • I was able to use at my CVS in Metro Detroit, the Solei razor coupon from the 5/1 inserts, the “Shimmer” is the LAST razor pictured on the coupon for the 3.00 savings on top of the 3.00 ECB. However this is only for the starter razor, and is not good on the razor refills.

Also, I used the 1.50 coupon on the 2 pack of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser from the 5/1 insert.

I am lucky to have about 4 CVS locations less then 2 miles from me, the one closest to me I don't think anyone shops the ECB or coupon deals as I never have trouble getting them all. And I have found they are super helpful in checking on coupons prior to purchase to make sure they will work.

So glad I found SS to take advantage of all these great deals!

      • Djphillips

I was able to use the $3.00 off coupon on the Soleil razor, and another for the refill blades, after the ecb, they were $3.99 each, then $3 off of each, they were less than $1 each! I was thrilled. My coupon I'm pretty sure said starter kit or refill.

      • Judy

        Hi Sandy
I am from Metro Detroit also!!! Didn't know any other Michiganders read this- I love this site!!!

    • Couponing Rocks!

Here's a quick little cheapie I did after work.
      Bought:
      2 – Nestle candy bars on sale 2/1.00 = 1.00
      Used 50/2 coupon in Sunday's paper = – 50
      Tax = .09
      Total OOP = .59
Got a green bag tag scanned -.25 (I count this as a .25 savings each trip)
My calculated cost for 2 candy bars taking off GBT scan = .34 total or .17 each!

Worth it since I pass right by on my way home.

      • Robin

how and where do you get green bags?

        • Sam

green bags are sold at cvs but green bag tags are better priced at 99cents in cvs ,you can attach it to any of your reusable bags.

          • Stacy

you can also put it on a cvs plastic bag and just reuse it at the store. I keep one in my car and i use it often, i used it at 4 diffrent cvs's today and got my $1 ecb :)

    • MissMath

There is a coupon for $1 off Tide (or Gain) powder when you buy Bounty or Charmin in the P&G 5/1. Am I correct that this applies to the Tide and I can still use another coupon on the Bounty or Charmin?

      • tori729

        Yes, that's correct!

    • Barbara

Gatorade or G2 is on sale B1G1 this week. In the Moments To Save insert from 5/1, there's a free 32 oz Gatorade or G2 WYB Gatorade Prime. How would this scenario work?

      • cahugh4

You would buy 2 Gatorades and receive one free and pay for the other. When you present the BOGO Free Coupon, it goes on the one you are paying for, so both items are now free!

        • cahugh4

oops never mind. the coupons states that you have to buy a gatorade prime and a gatorade recover in order to get the free one.

          • Barbara

I noticed that too. If CVS carries it at a decent price, I'd be willing to do it. My hubby drinks this stuff all day at work. Thank you for your help!

            • Mandi

The cashier and I tried this and you have to buy both required Gatorades and you would get 2 free regular Gatorades instead of 1.

          • Meganclaycohen

i bought 6 gatorades and used 3 coupons but because the coupon is only valued up to 1.69 i paid 15cent each. no beeps no problems

    • Jess A

Has anyone run into this… I had a mfq coupon for $2 off Pantene that expired 2 days ago that I tried to use today. It scanned in great, no beeps, and took off the money. After the cashier rang me up she looked over my coupons and said “oh wait this one is expired” and went in and manually took it off. I couldn't believe it. She said that as a new policy they will not accept any expired coupons, even if it is just a day late. I have never had this happen before. Is this a new policy or maybe just my stores manager? I get not taking way expired coupons but just a day or so and manually taking it off after it scanned in just fine seemed a little weird.

      • cs

none of the stores I know of take any expired coupons, not even a day

      • Ericah

I dont know of any CVS stores that will take an expired Manufacturer coupon, I know that some will take a store coupon expired. I never try it though, because to me, it seems wrong to use an expired coupon.

        • Roberta

I let some rewards expire by one day. I called the store and they told me as long as it was in the same calendar week, they could take them, because they haven't sent them in yet I guess.

      • Dolly

I say if it scans then they should take it, it is crazy to add back..just saying…one cashier tried to do that to me and I ask for the manager, if the computer takes it off then they should not add it back on..

    • guest

My CVS takes coupons and ECB for two weeks after they expire—-love my CVS

    • cahugh4

Sobe Lifewater is on sale for 5/$5. There is a coupon for $1/5 in the moments to save booklet. This would make the sobe $0.70 each.

    • Nmhall1

There is a coupon on the Ponds website for 1.50 off and you don't have to sign up. If you go use two, its two for three dollars!

    • TwoTypers

What is the order you should present your Qs & ECBs to the cashier?

      • tina

        Q's then ECBs

      • Stephanie

I always do ECB then Qs. It seems to work better for me and the cashier recommended this way.

    • Greg

Can you use a B1G1 and a $1.00/2 on the same purchase?

      • Sb

Yes, if you purchase 3 products. No, if you only purchase 2. (B1g1 applies to the free item; $1/2 will apply to the other 2).

    • Jjlsaver

Some of the coupon match-ups say to use (2) coupons from one of the P&G books. How do you get two books?!

      • Val

I don't think they are available anymore. I received one from a rebate promotion and the other from a facebook promotion.

Got a great deal at CVS last night! I had a raincheck for the Blink Tears eyedrops for $7.99 and getting $7.99 in ECBs. When I went to get the drops, some of the packages had a $4 off coupon attached. Hence, I made a profit of $4!

    • Cindy

Can I do this, use both qp's and it'll end up being 50 cents each or am I way off on this scenario?

There's a B1G1 in cvs. Buy secret or gillette clinical strength and get olay cleanser scrub or toner regenerist Can I use this scenario?

      1 Secret clinical strength
      1 Gillette clinical strength
      2 olay cleanser

      Coupons are:
1 buy 1 secret clinical strength get $4.00 off gillette clinical strength
2 $3.00 off olay regenerist facial moisturizer or cleanser

      • Kemndiaz

Sorry i got the deal confused.

    • Lffricke

Got the Bic Soleil shimmer $6.99 , used $3.00 off Q making it $3.99 then got the $3 ecbs back and I scored one that had iPod/mp3 headphones attached!!! (covington, LA hwy-190)

I have a question about the right guard body was tho… Unless I am doing the math wrong I think it would cost $0.99 and not be free with the bogo and the $1Q right? I tried to get them free at walgreens since they have it bogo and the q for bogo makes it free but their shelves are empty :( Church drive for stuff going to disaster relief to Alabama is shipping out tomorrow and I sure would like to get some free body wash to send.

      • Lffricke

Well, it worked out even to be a great deal after all (I went to use my recently emailed $5 off $30) … I did the BOGO Q with the right guard bodywash and when I checked out the Qs rang up for -4.49!!! So I got 4 bottles and made $3.00 :) I put them all in my donation bag.

The only coupons the coupon center prints for me is a couple of candy coupons. No deoderant coupon like implied on this list. ??????????????

      • Sandy in SC

You aren't the only one! I generally get the DOVE candy coupons==I swear they must think that's all I ever want to buy or the candy stinks and no one wants it so they give all those q's for it. :)

    • April

Is the “get more from your pharmacy” booklet at CVS?

      • Paige

I believe it is at Kroger

      • Kathy

I picked mine up at Kroger back in January or February.

    • Confused…

      I have a couple questions-

      One:

I had read in several places (not here, I don't think) that if you use an EBT card to pay for your food purchase at CVS, then you can still earn ECBs if there is a deal going on. So I went to CVS and bought maybe $16-$17 worth of the items on their “Buy $15 get $5 in ECBs” page. Of course, after coupons I only paid $11 in EBT and about 50¢ in tax on the coupons. But, though I got $1 EBC for having met my Green Bag Tag reward, I did *not* get the $5 in ECBs that I was expecting. Can anybody tell me why?

      Two:

Why can't I get a deodorant coupon to print at that dang kiosk??? Am I doing something wrong? I scan my card when I walk in, and I even scan in more than once, sometimes. I mostly just get crappy candy coupons. Is there a trick to it?

    • Kenzbug

Anybody else have a problem with not getting the ECB on the Pantene deal?

    • Kelly

My CVS score for week 5/1-5/7 (10 ECB from last week)
Tide, Puffs, 2 dawn dish liquid, 2 colgate toothpaste, 4 tostitos, 1 con queso dip, 1 pepsi, bic shimmer razor
      oop – 40 cents,
      3 ECB remaining (BIC razor)
