Save these for something you need or spend them all on the awesome Zhu Zhu Pets Deal!

    • Jennscaffeinated

My CVS wouldn't let me use the B1G1 pantene with the $1/2, is there something I can show them to prove that it's right?

      • claire

How many bottles were you buying?

      • Gingiraffe

If both of these are recent P&G coupons, you can't use more that one coupon for 2 items in a B1G1 deal unless the other coupon is a store coupon. They say “limit one coupon per items listed in coupon”. P&G has gotten smarter in their coupon wording I have noticed.

        • IT STILL MEANS 1 COUPON PER ITEM.

      • guest

You can't use $1/2 and the B1G1 if you are only getting 2. You can use it if you are buying 4 and using 2 B1G1 though. Just give them the $1/2 first.

        • Jennscaffeinated

Ohhh I see. It was posted on here for last weeks by someone and I tried it. Thanks!

          • Jennscaffeinated

Wait, I did buy 4 total. And she still wouldnt. So you have to give them the $1/2 first?

    • Marianne

Can I ask a question regarding the Zhu Zhu deal – are you paying for one and getting three free (for a total of four pets), or are you paying for four and then getting three free (for a total of seven pets)? My brain is fried from all of this holiday shopping – can't calculate anymore … LOL! :-)

      • Shannon

your buying 4 and paying for 1 which are normally 9.99

        • Christy H.

Did anyone elses Zhu Zhu pets coupon print out funny? Mine has part of the right side cut off but the whole bar code is there. I hope they will still take it!!

        • Missy

          when does this deal begin?

      • Melissa

You are paying for 1 and getting 3 free

    • Lori

No, no, I've been resisting zhu zhu pets as a passing craze, I don't need more widgets around the house! But….But…..This is such a good deal! Somebody, make me stop!

      • ChrissyPunkin

My kids were into them earlier this year, and they never play with them now. However, I'll still get them to give out as birthday gifts for their friends' parties throughtout the year. :-)

      • Erin

Resist–it's not that great a deal unless you were going to buy them anyway. And at $9.99, it's not really pocket change. I worked a deal to get my son one last year, and he never really played with it.

    • Sarah

I guess I don't know how the Zhu Zhu coupon works. My brain doesn't work this late at night. How is it that you are buying 4 and getting 3 of them free?

      • EB

Here is how you can think of it:

You go to the register with 4 pets.
Because of the sale: 2 cost the regular price, 2 cost $0

You now use your coupon that basically says it will pay the cost of one pet if you are checking out with a total of 3 – you meet this criteria so the coupon pays for the regular cost of one pet – leaving only one pet that you need to pay for with your own money.
thus you pay for one but walk out with 4

        • Sarah

          I see! Thanks so much!

        • Missy

When does the ZuZu pet deal begin? Is it Buy One Get One Free? Because right now it is Buy 2 get one Free????

    • Ginaod2000

Can you do the zhu zhu pet deal more than once? Or is there a limit?

      • There is no limit!

      • Amy

You're only limited by how many email addresses you have. You can get one coupon per email address. HTH

    • Dwrig56

I am new to this. What is a ECB and what is WYB

      • Ptdbell

Extra Care Bucks and When You Buy.

      • Sean

ECB is Extra Care Bucks. They are essentially CVS's monopoly money. WYB stands for when you buy.

        • WynetteC

I refer to them as monopoly money as well. :)

          • Superjen

my husband couldn’t remember what they were and came back from a trip, and handed me my ‘friendly bucks’ so that’s what I call them now :)

    • Caritob40

I have a question, the “month long deals” such as the contact solution, is it once a month? If I did it this current week, can I do it again next week? -TIA

      • salcha

I was wondering this too! Does anybody have the answer?

        • moneysaved4disney

I think if it says limit 1 then that applies to the duration of the deal.

        • santashelper

In the CVS sales ad, there is an event code under each product (it's really small). If the event code changes in the next week's ad, then you can do the deal again. If the event code stays the same all month, then the limit is still only one for the entire month.

      • ChrissyPunkin

You can only do it once. I bought it earlier this week, and my receipt says “offer limit reached.” Since it says month-long deal, I know it won't work again. I guess there is always a chance, but I really doubt it.

        • Sarah

You reached your offer limit for the week. Even the month long deals reset every week. You should be able to do it every week.

          • Sarah

That is actually incorrect. A “monthly” deal is for the duration of the month – which means once you have reached your limit (whether it be the 1st day of the month or somewhere in between) than you will not get any additional ECB's if you purchase the product again throughout the month. So they do not reset every week. Now I have seen in the past where at some point in the month CVS may up the limit from 1 to 2 – but it would show on the bottom of your receipt as “Amount Towards Reward – 1…Amount Needed to Earn Reward – 1”.

      • tina

the offer is good “month long” so you should be able to go get it anytime in the month but once you buy your limit your done! hth

    • Amy J.

Yeah, looks like I'll only be doing the Nivea deal and the Zhu Zhu pets this week…..and maybe look for some stocking stuffers.

      Thanks for posting the deals!

      • wendyc33

Do you know the price of those zhu zhu pets each?

        • Amy J.

At CVS they are usually around $9.88 to $9.99 ,but I think it depends on the CVS in your area. I have 2 CVS stores in my area (southeast GA) that are @ 25 mins away from each other, but some things are a little cheaper at one than they are at the other store. HTH!

    • Rhlambert32

Has anyone seen the ad – can you tell if the candy canes are individually wrapped?

      • Marsha

The ones at the store I shop are packages of individually wrapped

    • Stacy

I am not sure if any of you have a Walgreens by you. I am from the north, but stumbled upon this site and LOVE it! If you have a Walgreens, they have the Gillette Power Glide on sale for $9.99 with a $4 Jingle Bucks (just like the CVS ones). That reduces it to $5.99, use the $4 off coupon, which will bring it to $1.99! Awesome Deal! I am going to get my 3rd one this week.

      • Amelia

At Rite aid they are free…$9 with a 5 dollar up.

    • Michelle

Jenny, I believe the Coke 12-packs would be $2.33 each after ECB (3/$7). That's a really good price, I think.

    • Confused

Can you use all three coupons on this one product? I thought you could use only 1 cvs and 1 manfu. How does it get to be .99cents? Clarify anyone…signed…confused!

      $3 ECB WYB Motrin PM 20ct $5.99 Limit 1

      (month-long deal)

      -$1 off Motrin PM printable

-$2 off Motrin PM, excl trial size, SS 11/21

-$2 off Motrin PM, November All You magazine

(use $2 off, makes it 99¢

      • Michelle

It's .99¢ after ECB. So, if you use the $2 coupon, you will owe $3.99 (you can pay with cash and/or ECB). Then you will get back $3 ECB. So it is a net of .99¢. Does that make sense?

      • moneysaved4disney

Jenny is just listing all the available coupons for this product. After a $2 coupon and the ecb's it is only .99!

      • Tjmj9801

Jenny's not saying that you can use all 3 coupons. If you didn't get the November All You magazine or the SS from 11/21, there's an option to print a $1 off coupon for the product. It's like “pick one of these options” not “use all 3 of them for this price”.

        Here's the math:

The bottle of Motrin PM 20ct is $5.99

IF you use the $2 off coupon from the 11/21 SS OR the Nov. All You,

        then you pay $3.99 OOP

Then you get $3 ECB's back, making it like you only paid $.99 for the bottle.

If you only use the $1 printable coupon, then it's like you paid $1.99.

        Make sense?

      • WynetteC

Jenny lists all the coupons that are available underneath the product. Everyone has the possibility of having a different coupon than what the next guy has. She just suggests that if you have the $2 off coupon, to use it for the least out of your pocket expense and then she lists the final amount it's worth. She does the math for you. (I am so pampered that she actually takes the time to show what each item will be worth!)

If you use the $2 coupon from either the newspaper or the magazine, that it will bring the cost of $5.99 down to $3.99 due. Then a receipt prints out at the register for $3 to use on almost anything inside the store. The difference of $3.99 for Motrin and the $3 In store money (called Extra Care Bucks) is how she gets it down to being only 99¢

You are correct when you say you can use only 1 manufacturer's coupon per item. She doesn't list a store coupon (signified by a Blue Box with an “S”) for this product so nothing more can be used on it.

Once you earn Extra Care Bucks, you start using those to pay for your order just like money, and that is the joy in the shopping adventure! :)

    • rw

I was also wondering about the Complete contact solution. Can I buy one this week if I bought one last week since the sale goes all month long?

    • Tamera

I could not get the Azo to print. I have tried everything. Oh well.

    • Mom2teenagers

I almost ordered a jacket for my daughter from LL Bean yesterday! Glad I saw this. The jacket she wants is $50 and LLBean is running a couple of promotions now- free shipping on any order and $10 gift card back when you spend $50. Now I can buy a LL bean gift card at CVS and get $10 ECB, order her jacket, get it shipped free and get another $10 GC back. Super!

      • Bryarsmom

Is this not cool or what?

I'm also getting something at LLB-they have the most divine ladies moc's-feel like butter on your feet and look fab with jeans!

    • Caity

Anyone come up with the best scenario to get the Shrek Forever After DVD?
      Thanks! :-)

      • Marina115

It doesn't look like such a good deal to me. I'm thinking that as soon as it comes out there's going to be better deals somewhere else.

    • Coupons

If i want to get ECB $10 for P&G products using this 30%off coupon, do I still need to score $30 after 30%off coupon?

      • ashley

I dont think you can use the % off coupons on sale items

    • Jen

Anyone that hasn't done the Complete deal. I have $2- off coupons that I can mail you.

      • Carmen

I would love to get some $2 coupons for this please! I may have some coupons you need to. Pls email me at carmenhidalgo@comcast.net, thanks!

      • Maria

I would love a $2 off coupon for the Complete!

        marianjim @ msn . com

        Thanks so much in advance!!

    • Gamego71

On the gift card deals can you buy two $25.00 gift cards or any combination that equals $50.00 and get the ECB?

    • EJessica

I went to a Birmingham area CVS (on Montevallo Rd) and the lady told me that soon CVS was changing their coupon policy to “if something is B1G1, they'll only accept 1 coupon.” Has anyone else heard of this potential upcoming change??

      • Thomprb2

I hope not… that is the one I usually go to.

      • Mmleininger

I emailed corporate about the B1G1 number of coupon question. This is their response:

“In the case where a particular item is on sale for buy one get one free, you are only allowed to use one manufacturer's coupon. For instance, if Revlon lipstick is on sale for BOGO, you can use one manufacturer's BOGO coupon. You would get both items free & pay any applicable tax. Also, two manufacturer coupons can be used on a buy one get one free purchase as long as two items are scanned at the register. The system logic sees two items scanned and will allowed two coupons.

However, she does also mention that all transactions are left up to the managers discretion. So I would think it has a lot to do with the store managers attitude on the matter.

    • Stovey

LL Bean has a special that you receive a $10 gift card from them when you spend $50. You also get free shipping. Buy the $50 gift card from CVS and get $10 cvs bucks to make that deal even better!

      • Molliec

Thanks so much!!! You just gave me a great idea!!! You rock!

    • Tobys_Mom

If your store starts next weeks deal on Saturday, could you buy $30 in PG items and get the $5.00 ECB from last week and the $10 for next week? Ive never tried this before but was thinking this would be awesome!!

      • Sandy

No. First, I don't think the P&G items are the same, but even if they were the registers automatically pick the “best” deal.

    • Couponmoma

I know this has nothing to do with cvs. But today I went to Hallmark to use my $10 off $10 purchase. I was going to buy a pillow pet that was on sale for $19.99, norm. $24.99. But when I was checking out they said I could only use the coupon if I paid the Full price of $24.99, which I did. But then I went home & read the coupon it says you can use them on Sale merchandise. Just wanded to know if there was anything I can do about it. Thank You.

      • Sandy

I'd take it back and ask to speak to the manager. Show her the terms of the coupon and he/she should give you a refund.

        • Couponmoma

It was the manager or owner who told her that I could only use it like that.

          • carrie

Either go higher up (district manager/corporate) or ask for a refund (should get full price $24.99 back which is basically giving you cash for the coupon you used since you paid $14.99) and then repurchase it at sale price.

          • kcreviews

I used my q on a B1G1 Christmas cards sale and it worked fine. Don't know if that's the same in their eyes, but I would definitely complain and get your money back since it's stated on the q.

    • The Starr

Only selected items are again 75% off Loreal makeup. I used my 5 off 2 and 2 off 1 and got tons of makeup for less than 4.00! My reciept read “saved 165.00!” These coupons were in RP 11/14.

    • Morgan

Yay! Finally a week where I can use my high-value Crest Pro Health coupons! Now if we could all agree to list ounces instead of mL on the coupon….

      • di

what high vaule coupons do u have on crest?

    • Gigi

Can someone answer my questions? I have a $2 off complete multi-purpose solution coupon, and the coupon indicates that the coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or coupon. Does ECB consider “other offer”???
And I also have a $4 off when you spend $20 for CVS. Does the total amount have to be $20 after coupons and ECB ? I'm thinking to use this for P&G product.

      • Nani

Technically, ECBs arent coupons so yes, you should be ok, i used that same one without a problem last week :)

The $20 is before coupons, just make sure you hand it over first before any other coupons or ECBs

        • Gigi

Thanks for helping me. I'm new to couponing, so I want to make sure before I use coupons in the store.

    • Nana

Can someone help me out with diaper questions?? Our grandson (and his parents) are coming to visit us over the holidays? It has bee 25+ years since I have bought diapers. I know to get a size 3 and I've been saving coupons but have no clue what is a good price or where I should get them. I'm thinking since they're mentioned in this ad now is the time to buy. They'll be here for about a week, how many will I need. Thanks in advance for your help.

      • Nana

Sorry about my punctuation–it's too early to be posting.

      • Melissa M

There should be plenty of diapers to last you well over a week with the deal posted in this ad! Enjoy your grandson!

      • Applejuicecook

i have a baby who wears a size 3 too. we visited grandparents from wed. afternoon until noon on sat., and used about 3/4 of a “jumbo” pack of huggies. i think about 35 come in a pack (same as pampers.) if you get 2 of those you should be alright. you can also use 2 coupons instead of 1 if you get smaller packs. you should never pay more than about $9 per pack (not including manufacturers coupons.) stores normally have them on sale for $8.99. have fun with your grandson!

      • Guest

I agree, the one box of Pampers should be enough to last for the week (and then some). My baby goes through 5-6 diapers a day & is 16 months. Makes it even better if you have the coupons listed, and can get the P&G deal with $10 back, and free wipes with the diapers. I'm sure they will appreciate you getting the diapers for the baby, very thoughtful!

      • My “goal” is always to pay no more than .25 cents per diaper, whatever that amounts to in terms of the bag size. In the above P&G deal, you can accomplish that if you take the ECB into acount. Sometimes I end up paying more, but it is hard to swallow if you think of throwing that many quarters into the trash per day.

      • Smilesforlisa

Nana, go to the 'THETHRIFTYCOUPLE” and she will have diaper deals posted for most of the stores.

    • CJ

I don't see how to get the 30% off for in-store purchases on the CVS site? Is it a printable coupon? Thanks!

      • TOM RICE

IT LOOKS AS IF YOU CAN ONLY GET THE 30 OFF ONLINE. AM I RIGHT?

        • Amandaj

          thats all I see too.

    • albert_the_gator

Do the Sunday sales start at 12AM for the 24 hour CVS's?

I can see the Zhu Zhu's disappearing fast in my neighborhood.

    • Bbfluvshoppin

Does anyone know what time the new sale prices start on Sat. for non-24 hour stores? I have ECB that expire today but I'd love to use them toward the Zhu Zhu deal. Thanks!

      • Dianne

Mine starts around 2:00. I think most start no later than 6:00. Call ahead and ask to be sure.

    • Roxe

Thanks Jenny for all you do!

Just a tip but if anyone has an Andriod or Iphone there is a free App that I found called CHECKPOINTS and you get points redeemable for giftcards from scanning certain grocery items….. I got the app 2 days ago and already have racked up 3000 points, which equates to $10 gift card- which I will be cashing in for CVS of course, LOL (there are several others stores/prizes too)…….. Anyhoo if you download the app you get 200 initial points AND if you use my code…….pretty9…. you will get an extra 150 points for you and me! Happy couponing!

    • hello

Can someone help me understand the zhu zhu pet deal? how do I buy 4 and get 3 for free?

      • Sillysnicks

It works, I just did it. Take 4 to the register when the b1g1 sale starts and the coupon. With the b1g1 sale you are only paying for 2 and then with coupon b2g1 then one of the 2 you are paying for becomes free so all together you pay around $10 and tax. It's a great deal!

    • cat

If you haven’t done the Complete contact solution deal yet, here’s a $2 off coupon to make it better than free: http://www.completecomfort.ca/certificate.php

      • This coupon is for use in Canada only. Sorry.

        • Chiefsangeleyes

How do we know? I see the Canada contact address on it…but no “use only in …” disclaimer.

          • jen

The coupon is from Canada, but it goes through. It doesn't work when they try to scan it but when they punch it in it works.

            • tygirl13

….But the store probably won't get reimbursed for it and will lose that $2…

    • Cyndi

Need some help please! I understand that CVS will take a B1G1 free coupon as well as another coupon when buying two items (as long as they are not selling the items on a B1G1 sale). My question is does the second coupon apply to the item you are buying or the one you are getting free?

      • Ryrysmom2009

it comes off the purchase total. I belive it is actually the free item, but if you let them ring all the coupons at the end it wont be a problem

      • b1g1 free coupon applies to free item, $off coupon applies to item you are buying.

    • ashley

      I have the $110 P&G q book…. what is the $100 P&G book?? thanks!

All the Nivea coupons are taken… any ideas where I can find some more?

Had a great run with CVS this morning. Love my guy cashier. He does couponing also and helps me make the best deal. Today I bought 1 complete, 4 gilette shave creams, 1 Gilete gift box, 6 pantene shampoos, 1 dawn, 1 Downy, After using my $4 off , EB's and coupons: I bought $71.41 and after all the coupons, etc. my subtotal was $1.25 & $3.22 tax= $4.47 NOW, I call that FANTASTIC!

      • Happy Feet

        I forgot… I also got $21 worth of EB's. I am still :o) ing

    • Nsimmons

      HEADS UP!!

Just went and bought Jenny's transaction 3 and manager told me since coupons went below $30.00 it didnt count for the $10 bucks. She ended up giving it to me hand written fashion but the machine did not print it out.

      • Ginger

Wait, that may not be why. I could be wrong here, but these are the upcoming week's deals, and I don't think the ECBs will print until it's actually Sunday. Isn't that right? The sale prices are in effect, but the ECBs won't start printing yet.

        • LSN

That is correct. The ECBs start printing at midnight in 24 hour stores or on Sunday for the rest of us. My store will always print it for me on Saturday night since they already have the signs up.

        • Ndjimmyd

I went at 6 last night, and the weekly ad sale prices did ring up on sale, and the ECB's did print. BUT the special “3-day only” sale prices did not ring up nor did the ECB's print out.

    • Srhinteriors

Just did the Zhu Zhu deal I got 4 Zhu Zhu's and a pack of gum and spent $7.46!!! I used the B2G1 coupon and a $4 off $20 purchase thanks so much JENNY!!!! You're amazing!!!

Some people really kill me!! My husband worked till midnight and went straight to CVS. He joked, while parking his car, that the 2 ladies walking out just bought up all my Zhu Zhu pets. Too bad it was true! They bought 106 pets. There were 4 left (that my husband had to FIND hidden behind the Kung Zhu's), so we were able to get our 4. I just feel bad for anyone else who is looking to get this deal.

      • Joolz2010

Wow that seems greedy on their part….what could they want 106 Zhu Zhu pets for????
Glad you found 4…Pick a different store to shop at if you can I have found that if that happens once it will happen again because the same “greedy” people go back time and time again.
Merry Christmas to you and your family! :)
Unfortunately when I lived in Richmond, VA there was a women (the manager told me about) that would go to the 3 Rite Aid stores closest to me and buy out all the products that got the Register Rebates leaving NONE for anyone the rest of the week. I thought if I could just meet her once I would give her a piece of my mind…I only wanted one set of deals and she took like 8 sets every week.. eventually I gave up on Rite Aid till I moved away from that area. Now my new Rite Aid seems to have everything in stock :)

        • wendyc33

They bought at the cheap price, and went and sold them for more at their fleamarket store. It happens alot around here.

        • msb81

I don't see how they walked out of there with 106. My store doesn't even have that many in stock and when I went in to pick up mine…..I could only buy 4. I tried to get 8 but they said there was a limit. How do people get more than one deal on items. I would not have a need for more than 8 and I figure they bought them to resale but sometimes I see items I would like to stock up on for myself. How can you get around the limit?

      • Courtney

not sure if you wanted the zhu zhu particularly but it does work on the kung zhu's also, I just did it.

        • Mom3girls1boy

I had no idea! My husband loathes “Coupon Shopping” for me, so I was trying to make this as easy as possible on him. Thank you for the tip!

Don't you hate it when you spend a few minutes submitting your personal info in exchange for a high-value coupon, only to see on the next page that “the page doesn't exist” or “this offer has expired”.

It's like, that's fine, but then GIVE ME MY PERSONAL INFORMATION BACK. It's kind of like stealing from me.

This is the case with the ThermaCare coupon above . . . don't waste your time unless you just want to give your personal information to Pfizer in exchange for NOTHING.

      • itsok

Amen. If the coupon is no longer available, they should not be taking your information under the pretense of giving us a coupon. I agree. I think this should be illegal!!!

    • Sharon

I am not falling for the DVD coupon again. I tried this for the Toy Story DVD and CVS never had any in stock. I even tried CVS stores in Charleston when I went a few weeks ago. I tried Irmo, Lexington, and Batesburg. My coupon for $16 expired November 30th and I didn't get to use it.

      • Guest

They let me use my $16 coupon on anything I wanted! I turned around and used it on toiletries, household products, etc. the day they told me they didn't have the movie in stock. So essentially I spent $4 on about $75 worth of stuff after using scenerios with coupons. I would try and tell them no one told you that you could use to the coupon for whatever since the movie wasn't in stock & they should honor the expired ECB. Worth a try!

      • qponluvr

I got the Toy Story DVD the day it was released at a CVS outside of Lexington. It was behind the counter so I had to ask for it. If you go to stores in more rural areas they usually have all of the sale items.

    • Wulfsondz

SO just finished shopping at CVS and was treated like a criminal. My bf and I both went and had seperate cards and Zhu Zhu q's with different barcodes. He went first and the cashier didnt even scan the q just said “well it wont count because they are already bogo”. I politely asked her to scan it and it went throught ok. Then on mine she completely messed it up wouldnt take my 4off20 from my e-mail or my zhu zhu (she said I already used it on his order). Called the manager over who said it was one per customer. When I said that we were two different people she was very rude in telling me that we were and would not counted as 2 customers and would not return my ecb or my q! Have never had trouble in CVS before today and I can assure you that I will not return to the Conover NC CVS!

On a good note the q machine did print out 2.50 off flavor grove for my bf and were on sale for 2.50 so he got free almonds.

      • Blondinelectricinc

Definitly call corporate!!! They are the criminals! Those are not the rules and corporate will call the store manager and help you.

      • Amy J.

OMG!!! Not sure how you kept your cool in that situation! Yes, definitely call corporate…..the way you were treated was ridiculous, besides them keeping your ECB and your Q!!!

So sorry you had this bad experience.

    • Maryanne5610

The CVS gift books at the front of the store have a $4.00 off a $20.00 purchase in them.

      • tygirl13

Mine does too…but the coupon expired 11/28…haven't been able to ask yet if they will still honor it. The store didn't even put the books out til the monday after thanksgiving…

    • Guest

I did the Gillette deal at CVS last week and had issues. I was told that I had to buy $25 of products (after coupons were deducted) to get the $10 bucks back. My total at the bottom of my receipt reflected this as well (where it tracks what you have spent towards the deal). I called the corporate Extra Care program and they confirmed this policy. So I don't see how the proctor and gamble deal posted for this week will work.

      • Jbush27

It has always been the total after coupons for as long as I have known.

      • Megortiz63

I did the buy $30 P and G deal with a $4/20, and enough mfr coupons to bring my total down to $10.44 – and got my $10 ECB's no problem.

    • Amy J.

Just had one of my best CVS trips ever…..I bought:

4 Zhu Zhu Pets (b1g1), 1 Oral-B Vitality Floss Action Toothbrush (been waiting for weeks to find it in stock, have 2 rainchecks for them), and 1 AZO cream…….Q's used: B2G1 Zhu Zhu pets, $10 Oral B tb, and $2 AZO. used $27.56 ECB's from last week. My subtotal was 31cents ($3.10 including tax)…..used my free $5 email CVS gift card (for purchasing $25 email CVS gift card), and got back $18 in ECB's!!! I guess the only thing that would have made it better is if I had gotten back the same amt of ECB's that I spent……nonetheless, I'm thrilled w/ today's CVS trip :-)

    • Sonicbluel

Went to CVS this morning to do the Zhu Zhu Pets deal and the Manager rung me up when I gave him the coupon for B2G1 he said he didnt think it would work since they were B1G1. But he told me he put it through anyway.

    • NolaGirl

Is the price for Boost Energy Drink Regular or High Protein 6pk a typo? $6.49 seems more realistic than $16.49.

      • Amy J.

        That's a month-long deal, no wonder I didn't see it in this weeks' ad…LOL!

I'm not sure, but I agree with you……I do see the Ensure 6pk in this week's ad for $6.99, so $6.49 does sound more reasonable, and they are usually around the same price.

Hopefully someone bought/is buying this and can tell us.

    • Dee

What is the Healthy Living Coupon book?

    • Sandy

I bought the Prilosec and got my 7.00 in ECBs, turned around and got 4 Zhu Zhu pets, used the b2g1 coupon and my 7.00 ECBs and paid 3.47 for all 4! :)

      .

    • Nita Royal

Freebie alert – The coupon machine is giving slips for $2.50 off Planters Flavor Grove nuts. They're on sale 2/$5.00 – so just get 1 and it's free.

      • Lfenyin

i noticed that too when i was there this afternoon so i got the nuts for free too yah

    • Kikercasey

I went to my CVS store to get the complete multipurpose contact solution but it wasn't listed as being on sale or giving any ECB's. Is this sale def this month? I almost took it up front to ask but since the store was out of the size diapers I needed I figured I wouldn't bother with it. I went to another store and it was the same. Also, do your CVS stores have the thick care wipes? Niether of mine did. Very frustrated. I like CVS but neither of my stores do a great job of stocking. :-(

      • Cathy

My CVS does not carry the thick care wipes, the only Pamper wipes they carry are sensitive. They had a huge selection of Huggie wipes. I was wondering the same thing on other stores. I went in today but forgot my 5 off of 30 coupon. Ugh! I just looked around and refilled a prescription. I may head back tomorrow and get just the diapers…. wish the coupon said any one wipe. :)

        • KNM

I did the diaper deal and the manager just gave me the sensitive wipes b/c they don't carry the thick wipes. I love my CVS!!!

          • Guest

Same thing for me, he told me I could swap it out for something similiar, which happened to be the sensitive wipes. Still was free with coupon, she just deducted to $3.49 that the wipes were. Don't be afraid to ask, most of the time people are willing to work with you since they want your business! :)

            • Luci

Oh man, wished I had asked about the wipes. We could definitely used them. One store was out of the Pampers Sensitive wipes in the box. Kinda wondering if I can go back and ask.

Used a 20% off CVS email for Pullups. Fortunately had 2 $2 MQs for and a CVS $4 off Pullups Q because I later realized that the store closer to home has a higher markup which nearly negated the MQs.

      • Gigi

I went to buy the complete contact solution today too, but my CVS didn't list as being on sale and giving any ECBs. So I checked the sale paper, the solution wasn't listed on the paper either. I thought it was a month sale. Does anyone know???

        • Q_savvy

I wasn't sure at my store about the complete sol. I took one to the price scanner to see if sale price came up and it did so I knew it would probally print EB as well. It did. But if the scanner showed the regular price then I would not take the chance unless you want to deal with refunds/money cards.

    • Themayfieldzoo

My CVS would not give me ECB on Bandaids :(

      • dculick

My CVS had a tag under the Bandaids that expired on 12/1…he was nice enough to remove the tag and give me my ecbs!

    • Catie

I went this morning to get the zhu zhu pets and a proctor gamble deal. The guy that rang me up told me that I couldn't use the B2G1 coupon because they were already on sale for B1G1. I didn't know exactly what to tell him, so I just asked if I could get a 5th one for free since I was going to be paying for 2- and he said that was fine. All in all, I was happy with my transaction because I ended up with 3 bottles of Pantene, a big pack of Pampers, 1 container of wipes, and 5 zhu zhu pets for a total OOP of $24.06 and I got 10ECBs. I am just wondering why he wouldn't let me do the zhu zhu pets like everyone else has???

      • Adgwecho

Mine didn't either. She couldn't get the coupon to work so instead since she wasn't allowed to hand enter the coupon, she comped me with $10 extra bucks.

      • Erica

The cashier tried to tell me the same thing, but I told her it should still work. She said she would try it, so it did end up working. I had 3 ECBs from the cokes I bought, so I ended up paying $7.65 for 4 Zhu Zhu pets

      • Jnn_horan

In that case, I would have gotten 6………..buy 3 get 3 free and then use the buy 2 get one free to get one of the three you are buying free.

      • Amy

He was wrong. You should have been able to use it. You can even use a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 sale, making both items free. You can certainly use a B2G1 free coupon.

    • Longcarol759

Just got back from cvs and found out that the30% coupon was for only the items not on sale. I didn't read the card very close but thought it said for entire purchase? anyone know which is right

      • Nita Royal

Lots of exclusions on that coupon, making it not very useful for many of us. Not good on sale items or in conjunction with any CVS deals.

        • dculick

I called the number on the back of the CVS card b/c I can NEVER get those percentage off coupons to work. She said the deal was…in the transaction you can not have ANYTHING that is on sale or use ANY coupons…she said that meant CVS coupons or manf. coupons.

      • Kngrunsfree

Only good on items not on sale.

    • Ann in VA

My CVS ad says buy 10 packages of Austin crackers (7.4 oz.) for $10. That is one of the Kelloggs rebate items for the $10 holiday rebate, so that makes them free after rebate. My question is-if I did the Kelloggs rebate from this week's Harris Teeter sales circular, can I also do the one from the holiday coupon book for December for the Austin crackers that I just bought?

      • lyn

where did u find the rebate??

        • Ann in VA

The rebate is in the Kelloggs/Keebler Holiday coupon and recipe book. I found mine in Food Lion on a Keebler cracker display.

Also, I looked at the rebate from that coupon book and the one from Harris Teeter,. Because they have two different titles and P. O. boxes, I decided to send both rebates in. It's worth a try. I figure all I'm losing is a stamp.

    • Adgwecho

I was there at 7am. Came out with 4 zhu zhu pets, two bags of MMs, three bags of hershey candy, one thing onf Got 2 B hair product, three 12 packs of cokes, two dispensers of scotch tape, two bottles of Theraflu, 40 photo prints, one tube of Rimmel lash extend mascara, one box of Hershey's Pot of Gold candy, and spent $53. Then I walked out the $13 in extra bucks! I am super excited. I had made a deal with my 4 yr old that she could keep one of the Zhu Zhus as long as she was willing to donate the other 3 to toys for tots.

    • I was SURE that my local CVS would be out of Zhu Zhu pets but my Mama and I lucked out and got the last 4 regular Zhu Zhu pets in the bin at the front of the store. They still had Kung Fu and baby Zhu Zhu pets left. This was the 24 hr store on Lake Murray Blvd. in Irmo, SC.

    • Dawn

I got the Cough Buster Syrup (No shelf tag, and the clerk didn't know, but said ring it up, and if it doesn't print, we'll just void it, I love my CVS clerks!)

I also got the soda, good deal on that, and the Magic Coupon machine spit out the nut coupon (It hates me, I never get good coupons!)

I had one for the Stove Top but of course, they had none.

I also got the Zhu Zhu pets, stood there for FOREVER since they had all these different ones, Rockstar and something else, and the basic ones, plus these like Ninja ones, LOL

The Ninja looking ones were also BOGO, so I got those, plus the BOGO Armour, and two of the Rockstar ZhuZhus. Had no trouble with the coupon at all. My CVS still had tons of them at like 3pm too, I was sure they would be all gone by the time I got there!

    • Bebalm

Cvs brand batteries are buy one get one free this week. I found a box of 40 AA batteries in the holiday section that was also included. Seemed too good to be true! I ended up with 80 AA batteries for $15. Gonna need them for all those Christmas toys!

    • CBC99

Not sure if this has already been posted. CVS is giving $1 in ECB when you purchase any NyQuil product. There is a $1.50 off NyQuil in the December P&G flyer. Makes it $3 after all discounts & ECB.

    • couponmama

Had a great run at CVS… First transaction bought 8 of the pantenes on sale (4 different types & there were lots left!), plus one Gain dish liquid. Used $5/30 coupon, $4.74 man. Qs, & $17 ECB from black Friday sales. Total came to about $5. For some reason I got back $14 ECB instead of just $10, which made my total cost like $5 for all 9 items!! (I plan on using these for the P&G beauty rebate…didn't need any, but for almost free I couldn't pass it up.) Then I got 2 packs of Scott towels w/$1 off Qs on each, & the contact solution, used my $14 ECB, cost about $4. Got back 9.99 ECB, bought 4 ZhuZhus & .99 pack of candy for $1.40! Happy, happy… Also they have some good coupons printing at the scanner- $4 off Pampers!! And the planters coupon deal- but I'll have to go back for that tomorrow… :-)

      • Haley554

$4 off pampers??!! That would be awesome. Oh please CVS, I hope I get one of those!

    • STOUTME

All of these items ARE included in this ECB deal. The tide stain release is not pictured but is listed with the Tide stain booster, which is pictured.

    • Gigi

I went to buy the complete contact solution today, but my CVS didn't list as being on sale and giving any ECBs. So I checked the sale paper, the solution wasn't listed on the paper either. I thought it was a month sale. Does anyone know???

      • milie

i had that same problem at one cvs i went too and the manager had no clue and they had taken the tag down, so i went to another cvs on the way home and the tag was still up there and the 9.99 ecb printed with no problem. i turned around and used those ecbs to “pay for” the zhu zhu pet deal! great day. but my point is it should work it was not in my sale paper either but the sign i saw does say “this month's deal” good luck!

      • Q-SAVVY

You can scan the item on the price checker machine to see if the sale price rings up, if so it is uaually safe to buy and it will print your extra bucks. If the regular price scans then I don't take the chance. You can try it and if it don't print bucks, just take it back for a refund, But I try not to do refunds myself.

    • WynetteC

Here's the P & G scenario that I did yesterday for products I needed since dish washer detergent is always a need and I have never gotten one of those nifty dryer bars, I worked this one up with a few odd and maybe hard to find coupons:
      Bought
      4 Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner $3.74 ea.
2 Bouce Dryer Bar $3.99 ea.
      1 Cascade Action Packs 32 ct. $6.99
      1 Gain Dish Soap 99¢
      Total = $30.92 (before coupons)

      Used:
      -(2) B1G1 Pantene PG 11/28
      -(1) $1/2 Pantene PG 11/28
-(1) $2.50 off Bounce Dryer Bar (Vocal Point mailer)
-(1) $1.50 off Bounce Dryer Bar (Vocal Point mailer)
      -(1) $1 off any Cascade (P&G mailer)
-(1) 50¢ off Gain Dish Detergent PG 11/28

Total Due was $16.94 before tax and I paid it mainly with ECBs and paid out of pocket only few cents plus the tax. Got Back $10 ECBs making each item worth 86¢ each. That beats out even a dollar store value and those are need items! If you have a CVS store coupon for $/$$, your total due will be even lower depending on which one you have. I would have loved to have used one on my deal but I rarely get those and I was delighted to stock up on shampoo, dryer bars and the Cascade! Thank you Jenny for your site. It helps me greatly when I plan out the trip! The zhu zhu pets deal also worked for me. :)

    • Winona

Great day at CVS! Thanks Jenny!

    • Laurawalker

I tried to use the zhu zhu pet coupon this morning and was told I couldn't use it with the B1G1 free deal

      • krystal moon

Yeah same thing I was told.. But the guy was like if it would scan it might work, it scanned but did not go through and I think that was cause the girl did not enter the amount like the screen more than likely stated. I was just frustrated and left them, my kids were so upset and crying. Will try again cause it seems like it is working for a lot of other people just fine.

        • Sb

You might want to print a new coupon because your coupon was scanned and next time you try to use it it may say “already used”.

        • Klynn

All she had to do was enter the amount. I got (4) this morning with no problems. The guy at CVS (Vidalia, Ga) was fab. They also have plenty left (FYI).

    • Tjt1397

I used the zhu zhu pet coupon with no problems. I went to the CVS on Pleasantburg in Greenville SC. The lady just smiled and said what a great deal!

      • Gwen

So how did it work? I would like to go do it but sort of confused at what to do.

        • Amy

Just go in and get 4 Zhu Zhu or Kung Zhu (for boys) pets. At the register, it will ring up $20. (The cost of 2, since they are on sale for B1G1.) Give them the coupon, and it will take off $10. You pay $10 plus tax. Great deal. Also, the KungZhu warrior outfits are included in the sale and coupon.

          • MK

Our store wouldn't let me do it : ( She said I wasn't technically paying for 2 by doing that b/c they were already BOGO. I had to pay for 2, get 2 free then get the 3rd for free by using the coupon. So I actually paid $16 total for 5. $10 would have been great!

            • Brantonlj

No she is wrong it should have worked fine. How did you hand her the coupon. Did you hand her the coupon and then the card or the card and then the coupon. It should have worked fine.

    • momof3inATL

Sorry.. this isn't the best deal out there but I thought I'd share this. There are few items I must purchase at LL Bean. I purchased a $50 gift card at cvs, received $10 ECB, purchased my $54 in items at LLB, received free shipping, 2% back on ebates and a $10 LLBean gift card.

There is no fee attached to the LL Bean gift cards at CVS.

    • MK

Eventhough it will let you print 2 zuzu pet coupons they will only let you use one per transaction. I bought two for $7.99 each on sale and got 3 for free w/ the BOGO deal and one free by using the coupon. So $16 for 5 ZUZU pets! Plus I had a $3 off $15 Q and $16 in ECB's saved from the Toy Story deal. Bought the Moon in my room night light on sale for $9.99 b/c it's $20 at walmart and $14 at Kohls. So all in all some great deals for Christmas!!!

Paid $28 including tax -$16-$3 Q = $9 for 5 ZUZU pets and the Moon in my Room night light!!!!

      • KW

It says on the B2G1 free zhu zhu coupon that it can not be combined with any other CVS offer. So, My understanding is that you can not use the coupon with the in-store offer. How is this working?

        • Val

It's working because people aren't reading the fine print.

          • 3monkeysmom

Fine print on mine says it can't be combined with any other coupon, not any other offer, so it's fine to use it :)

    • Couponj

I have gone to two CVS's and they don't have the Pampers wipes… only Huggies… anyone else have this issue?

      • Jillian

I did, but I was able to get a different package of Pampers wipes since they didn't carry the Thick Care kind.

    • tina

just wanted to share about the complete contact soulution. went to one cvs and the sign was not there and it was not listed in the paper and the manger said that it was on sale last week and that we could ring it up, pay for it and see if the ecb prints. uhh, no. so i went to another cvs on my way home and they still the sign up that clearly says “this month's deal” and the ecb printed with no problem. so if you do not see the sign it should still work, hope this helps.

      • Q-SAVVY

When there is no sign on the shelf, I take one to the price checker machine and scan if the sale price shows up then it is usually safe to buy and get your extra bucks back. If the regular price shows up on scanner then I don't try it. But if you buy it and it don't print the extra bucks you can always take it back for a refund. I try to avoid having to do refunds, thats why I scan the item.HTH

    • I went to CVS yesterday and did the Coke and Zhu Zhu Pets deals. The coupon printer was not working, so that was a disappointment. When I was checking out, the clerk told me that they were recalling the original CVS green bags, of which I had 2. She took them both, giving me 99 cents refund for each. No ECBs printed and nothing even printed at the bottom of my receipt as usual. I don't think I'll get credit for the green tag scan, but still, it was a pretty good trip. I just wish that the scanner had been working.

      • Klynn

why are they recalling the bags?

        • According to my cashier, they may contain lead. I think that it is a pre-cautionary measure on their part, considering what was recently in the news regarding Publix & Winn Dixie in FL. They don't want any more bad publicity.

      • Paige

At my CVS they took the old bag and then gave me a new one that said 100% organic on it. They wouldn't let me keep the old bag.

    • Kkrobertson

so many great deals but I didn't get the PG 11/28 so it really limits me….so sad. =(

      • MeinNC

Go dig it out of a recycling bin. I do that and end up with 5-10 of them.

        • Courtney

Where do you find these recycling bins?

          • MeinNC

Here in NC they are usually in the parking lot of a grocery store. Not isolated; people sort their items in the bins. I go to the newspaper bin and just pick them right out. You don't have to climb in; lol…..they are usually plenty on the top. Not only that, but I usually see 1-2 other people right there with me grabbing them!

    • Denise P.

Does anyone know – do I have to do the P&G deal in one transaction? Can I buy some things and then in the next transaction buy some more and then get the 10ECBs? Thanks for helping.

      • AmandaP

No you do not need to do the P&G deal in one transaction. You can split it up.

        • Denise P.

          Thanks.

    • Julie H.

Just got my second free bag of Planters almonds for the week. Also, at my CVS, they have lots of L'Oreal for 75% off. I happened to have $10 in L'Oreal coupons, so I got two lipsticks, an eyeliner, a nail polish, an eye shadow, and a blush for $5.58. That's less than $1 each for some really nice products!

    • Friend

Ok.. I have a question… If I buy 8 bottles of pantene shampoo and conditioner.. can I use (4) $1/2 and also (4) bogo coupons?? Please let me know before I go in there and feel like an idiot.. I had a lot of trouble with my coupons last time and I don't want the same mess.. Thank you!

      • Sherim0206

It often depends on the cashier you get. Use your $ off coupons first then havve her scan the bogo coupons. Sometimes this makes it easier for them to understand. But I have also had trouble depending on the cashier.

Just had a great trip to CVS! I did the P&G deal (got 3 bottles of Pantene, Crest toothpaste, Covergirl foundation and powder, and Tide stain release for 21.49 including tax), the M&M's deal (3 bags for $4.18), then used my $10 ECB from the P&G deal to get 4 Zhu Zhu Pets for $.57!!! And the cashier was very friendly! I prayed on the way over there, and the trip was flawless!!

does anyone have any idea of the best deal i should be waiting on for crest whitestrips? i never buy them, but my adult daughter just requested them for Christmas. i saw them in the CVS ad this week, but even with $10 ECBs and the typical $5 manuf. coupon, they're still expensive. it looks like walmart will be a better deal, but they were out of all but the most expensive larger packs…if i had known earlier, i would have had my eyes peeled for the best deal…anyway, just wondered if anyone who buys them regularly can give me some clue:)

      • Paige

I have only bought them once, but I do know that Aldi carries their own brand for $9.99 but I am not sure how they are.

I purchased (16) travel size Schick Disposable Razors for $1.29 each which gave me my $20.00 in Schick products to get the $10 ECB's and also purchased (8) bags of Hershey Kisses at 2/$4. I used (3) $1/2 CVS Coupons for Hershey and (3) $1/2 Manufacturer coupons for Hershey Kisses and (2) B2G1 Manufacturer coupons for Hersheys and CVS had a B2G1 on Hersheys also and I was able to use (12) $2 off any Schick Razor (no size specified) bringing the total to a whopping $1.98 for all of this. Great shopping day at CVS today.

Sorry this if this question is in the wrong place, but I didn't know where to post it. I printed two coupons of the playtex coupons from the link above last night abt 10 p.m. How often is it resest to where I can print again? Daily, weekly, monthy? I know I could go to another printer or computer, but I am willing to wait. I had shots in my back, don't feel like driving to my mothers just to print two coupons out.

My deal idea I want to do is buy:

      4 Pantene Shampoo
      4 Pantene Conditioner
      1 Gain dish soap

      Use 4 BOGO Pantene Shampoo/conditioner
      1 $.50 off Gain

Now my question is can I use my $5/$30(a surprise in my inbox that expires tomorrow) FIRST than give them my BOGO Q?

      • Ashley

of course! as long as your total is atleast 30 BEFORE coupons. give your $5 off THEN give your coupons :)

    • Roxe

I love this site! I wish I had Jenny's deal finding skills!
Just a tip but if anyone has an Andriod or Iphone there is a free App that I found called CHECKPOINTS and you get points redeemable for gift cards from scanning certain grocery items….. I got the app about 4 days ago now and had 3000 points after 2 days, which equates to $10 gift card for CVS (there are also other prizes/stores available for rewards 300points =$1)….now 4 days total I'm a little over 21,000 points!……..This app is too good not to share!!!
If you download the app you get 200 initial points AND if you use my code…….pretty9…. you will get an extra 150 points for you and me! Thanks & Happy couponing!

      • Mary

Very Cool! I just downloaded on my droid and used your code. Thanks so I have enough for a $1 gift card just from downloading. Do you have to scan the items at the store or can you do it from home?

      • Lswaffer

I just signed up and used your code. Thanks for sharing and I hope you get your points! :-)

      • friend

I signed up under you! But it tells me the CVS gift card is only worth $2??

      • momof3inATL

Kudos Roxe! 100 pts for me 100 for you. Seems easy enough.

I would love to know where to get the Vocal Point Mailer??? Lots of good coupons there and I want some of that…Ha…..any info would be greatly appreciated!!

      • Go to Vocal Point Dot Com and register.

        • TRC

Thank you!! I def will do that right now! :)

Can someone tell me if the P&G deal has to be exactly $30? I'd like to just do (3) of the Fusion Razors, but that comes up to 29.97. I can add the Pantene in if I need to, but would prefer not to.
      Thanks!

      • It will probably print. I would try it. If it doesn't print, and your cashier does not print it for you,. then buy something else. It is cumulative.

        • Stephanie M.

Thanks! I'm thinking I'll just add the Pantene to it since I have the BOGO coupon.

    • Lorrose57

If anyone did the Oral B battery toothbrush deal from a few weeks ago.. there is a $15 refund printed on the site..http://www.oralb.com/offers/or…… I had gotten mine at Walgreens with the $10 off coupon and the $10 off WAGS coupon last week.. did not want to use this on on the P&G refund… I like money better than coupons….

      • Jen

        Awesome – thanks!

      • Stephanie M.

The dates on the form are 12/3 through 1/31/11, so it won't work for those of us who did the deal at CVS :(

      • Lorrose56

I still have a raincheck and am waiting for the toothbrush to come in at my CVS… seems I got the WAGS one on the 2nd…. so it goes in the P&G rebate…

      • tori729

Hmm the one I got was the Vitality Flossaction and it doesn't look like it's included in the rebate. :( But I can maybe call them and see.

    • Lisamarieonssi

I know most ecb bucks are cumulative but does anyone know if the Shrek movie deal for 4.99 is? Do I have to buy all $25 at one time to get it for 4.99 ?

      Thanks !

    • Able Jennifer

I found a box of 40 CVS brand AA batteries on sale for $14.99 and they are BOGO free. 80 batteries for $14.99 comes out to 18 cents a battery.

      • Skibakermom

40 batteries are free per week at Staples but you have to wait for the rewards to be returned.

    • Dawn

Does anyone know if the P&G $20 rebate is before or after coupons? I have enough pre coupon total to send it in, but if its after coupons, then I only have 6.00, LOL

      • Sue3

The form says before coupons so I say you're good!

      • Sue3

Nevermind, sorry. I was thinking about the P&G coupon book not rebate.

      • Stephanie M.

Everything I've read said before coupons, so I think you're good :)

    • Sangurkie

There is a Shrek/Hostess rebate for anyone who did the Shrek DVD deal at CVS. The form can be downloaded from the Hostess website (www.hostesscakes(dot)com). You need to purchase two multipacks of Hostess cakes and the rebate is for $4.

    • Jennifer

I tried to do the Pantene/Pampers deal. They let me replace the wipes with a different box, but they wouldn't let me use the $1/2 q on the pantene along with the 2 b1g1. I even checked a few websites before going to see if anyone else had this issue, since it was my first time trying something like that. Bleh…oh well…free wipes.

      • Rty33

They should have let you use it.

    • Taterbug33801

Did anyone get the bandaid extra bucks?
How do you prove a month long promotion? My store will not reimburse without seeing it in the ad,

    • Nevrsaydie1988

      woohoo!
      Got
      8 Pantene
      1 Gain soap
      2 Nail'ene artificial nails
      = $38.91

      used
      20% off total purchase
      4 BOGO pantene
      -0.25 Gain soap
      = ~$15.xx
      Used: $10 ECB + $4 ECB + $1.xx to pay
Got back: $10ECB+$4ECB +$1 ECB from green bag tag

Basically got all of it for less than $1!
