    • V7nik

Loving the Pepsi but what is the offer mean on how to get six more? Thanks for all u do! :)

      • JBlack7404

There is an offer for $10 ecb when you buy 6-12 packs and another offer from pepsi for buying $20 worth of Pepsi products. Your second offer could possibly be 6- 12 packs and 1- Sobe for $1.

        • Candies2006mmc

please tell me how this is going to work

        • Nicole

I am really confused on this one. I need a little more breakdown on this, please. Thank you

    • Mary

I am brand new to couponing and working the ads so please bear with me. I am learning SO MUCH from your site and really appreciate the info. I'm not in the south so the grocery info isn't working for me, but everything else is wonderful and I'm going to spend time this weekend working through the first 5 steps.

The Pepsi ad says that if you purchase 6 12pks for $20 you get $10 ECB.

The Scott ad says that if you spend $25 and purchase items from that group you get $10 ECB.

Does this mean I have to purchase $25 of Scott products or does my grand total need to be $25 and I must have at least one of those Scott products?

Also, can I get $10 ECB on the Pepsi and an additional $10 ECB from purchasing the Scott products?

      • Rhiannon353

You must have $20 in pepsi for that $10 ECB and $20 in Scott for that $10 ECB (so you'd have to buy $40 total). Yes, you can get both ECB deals (it would print as 2 $10 ECBs) as long as you purchase the required items for each.

        • Mary

Thank you Rhiannon353. I'm determined to learn how to work the system. I'm sick and tired of paying full cost for groceries and sundries. I feel like this is a place I can really save some money for my family.

          • Cbakergirl

I'm fairly new to couponing as well, but I have a quick tip. I'm terrible about 'rounding up' my totals (i.e. $4.99 = $5 in my head), so I've missed a deal once or twice because I would buy four products for $4.99 thinking $5 x 4 = $20 when actually my total was only $19.96. Just make certain you meet whatever amount is required in order to get credit for a deal. =o) Have fun!

            • Krmilwood

That is when you but a 50 cent pack of gum and then use your coupons.

          • Bryarsmom

The trick is to play the game so well, your OOP is the very lowest you could possibly get it, with the most ECB's coming back to you.
            Biggest bang for your ECB's.
The more you do this, the finer you can tune each deal.

      • Kmanganaro

You have to buy $20 in pepsi to get the $10 ECB. You also have to buy $25 worth of products from the Scott group to get the $10 but you can but the pepsi and get the $10 and use the $10 ecb on your scott products and still get your $10 ecb if you have $25 worth of stuff. hope that helps

      • Amber

On the scott deal you must purchase $25 of the Scott, Cottonelle or Kleenex items listed in that group above (they are in a yellow box together on the ad). You will then receive the $10 back coupon on the bottom of your receipt. (YOu could buy all kleenex if you wanted as long as it is more the 25 dollars worth.)

The pepsi deal is totally seperate, so you can absolutely do both!

Do one of the deals at a time, and use the $10 coupon that prints on your receipt towards the purchase of the second deal.

        • Mary

Never thought of doing it as 2 transactions. Sneaky!

          • firstbrownie

I would not define doing two transactions as “sneaky”; “smart” would be a better word!! I go into my CVS and do several transactions in a row (obviously letting others in front of me if they are in line) and simply “roll” the bucks I earn; it is so much fun!!!! Right now I'm sitting with $23 ECB and I'm excited about the Pepsi deal!!

        • Mary

Wait a minute….I've thought about this and now have another question. If I bought my Pepsi products first and paid for them, the $10 would print out immediately? I don't have to wait until the end of the quarter like I do when I get my bucks for buying prescriptions?

          • Kim

Also, remember to scan your CVS card at the electronic kiosk. It will print out additional coupons. For example, sometimes it prints out a $5 off $25 or a $10 off $50 purchase…so, if you need to buy $25 worth of something to get a deal, you actually only have to spend $20. I love CVS!

            • Mary

That's the first thing I do when I walk in the door. I'm learning!

            • To answer your question, yes, you get your ECBs immediately.

          • Ziggy34434

            It is immediate.

          • Bryarsmom

Instant gratification…the beginning of your slow fall into our crazy addiction :)

        • Sandra

I was wondering if you could get the Pepsi deal and use the ECB rewards on the Scott deal. I havent shopped at CVS so I'm wondering when you can start using the ECB. HAve you done that before???

          • Bryarsmom

            You do sep trans…
you can do your Pepsi deal first, get your ECB's and roll them into your next one, and so on and so on…

    • Tasha

For the GasX/Maalox/Prevacid/Benefiber ECB deal, I've heard there is supposed to be a $4 off Maalox coupon in this coming Sunday's coupons, although it may be regional. If you get that or have access to them, you could do the deal the same way with Maalox, or a combination of the two.

    • Tamara72

I figured out WYB is when you buy.

      What is ECB? Thanks! :)

      • Kmanganaro

ECB are CVS cash. Free Money to use at CVS when you buy certain things

      • selena

CVS calls them “Extra Care Bucks”

      • meme

Extra Care Bucks, the coupons that print on the bottom of your receipt. Use those to make the next or future purchases. Just watch that you don’t try to buy the same product and pay with that ECB as it usually will not generate another ECB. I alternate purchases to use a different ECB. Jenny has great tutorials here to read up on how to shop at each location.

      • rebecca

        Extra Care Bucks

can anyone give me the zip code for the .50/1 Kleenex ? mine is coming up .50/3… thanks

      • meme

Look at the coupon again and see if the wording continues to say “or 1 bundle pack”. Most of the Kleenex coupons read this way.

    • Susan

*sulk* I wish that Finish coupon had been in my paper. Of course I'd have already used it at Harris Teeter this week if it had been.

      • Nicole

Susan, YOu might want to look into ordering them from one of the coupon clipping services. You should have plenty of time to get them if you do it in the next day or so… Also, the chances are they won't have them and you will have to get a raincheck anyway… Good Luck!

        • Svlacy

Nicole, do you have any suggestions on a clipping service?

          • Tjmj9801

            the coupon clippers dot com

            • Anne

They are out of them there, I already looked. They have the $1/1, and I would tell you to check Ebay, but the prices are unreal unless you want the $1/1.

            • Lara

It’s usually not that bad. They know its a hot ticket item and that’s why they are charging that much. You should try and go in with someone and contact the seller directly to see if they will offer you a buy it now price. I just saw one that was 40 of the $2.25 for $9.99 (free shipping) with one bid. I would contact the seller and offer $12 to buy it now since the auction closes in 3 hours. that makes the coupons $.30 each. Still not bad.

          • Loreli

couponbeat dot com ( I ordered some earlier in the week:)

      • Ksilvers04

I dont know where u are but you may want to look into your local newspapers to see if they offer this subscription…..I was spending a good bit every sunday buying 5 or 6 Chattanooga Times free press newspapers. Well they offer a delivery subscription just for couponers. Its a total of $22.47 each month, and I get the newspaper delivered every single day and each sunday I get 5 newspapers. Its more convenient and cheaper than going out each sunday to buy them at the store. I dont know if they are the only newspaper who offeres that or not but it might be something to look into. I didnt know ours did it until a salesman came by and told me about it.

    • Ksilvers04

can you do both pepsi deals in one transaction? Like purchase 1 izze drinks, and 6 packs of pepsi …which would be more than $20…..and get back two seperate $10 ecb? one for the 6 packs and one for the $20 ?

      • How this one is going to print is going to be interesting. I can't really remember a time that we had one product that was part of two different deals at the same time.

        • Ksilvers04

im going to try it and see because i plan to use the $5 off a $30 purchase, and include a cvs coupon i received in the mail today for a free schick razor …so even if i only get back one $10 ecb it will still be a decent deal.

          • Mottiemel

How (where) did you get a $5 off $30 purchase!? Melissa

Sign up with CVS online and you will receive coupons in X/XX coupons via email evey week. las week I received $4/$20 and this week, $5/$30. I also got a bonus $1.50 ECB print out of the red machine …nic surprise. anyone else get this?

            • Anonymous

That may have been for your fall spending because I got one too. You get 5% cash back for whatever you spend.

I'm going to test it tomorrow. My store starts the sales on Thursday evenings, just cant get there tonight!

          • Sheikhkiran

please let us know if it will work and both of them will print…i am gonna try it on sun

            • Kimber

NO only one $10 ECB prints per transaction

        • Jnn_horan

Does it matter? They are listed as two separate, so there should be no problem … I can’t see cvs not honoring the deals.

    • Jody

So excited about the Finish Gelpac deal. I got a box from Wags this week and LOVE them. If anyone has coupons they are not going to use and would like to trade, please email me.
      Thanks!

      • Bryarsmom

A little warning on the gelpaks-Finish or any other brand-our dishwasher repair guy told us those things build up in the bottom of the units sometimes, not disolving completely and can cause some serious repair bills. Fyi :)
        Word to the wise…

        • Susanizanurse

We’ve used the Finish gelpacs pretty much exclusively for the past 9 months with no problems. My husband, whose in charge of our dishwasher by his choice, says these clean THE BEST of anything we’ve tried. He took our dishwasher completely apart this past weekend – all plumbing lines & all parts except for taking the actual motor apart – & found no evidence of any issues r/t using the gelpacs. I’m not saying this doesn’t happen, but it’s been a non-issue for us.

        • wendy

I pour about a cup of white vinegar (apple cider will work too.) in the bottom of my dishwasher about once a week. It cuts through the grease and scum and makes the dishwasher smell better.

    • GIGI

B1G1 AXE coupon in SS 12/12 in South GA

      • Chrissy1216

The one I have expires 1/8. Was there a different one?

        • Wendy

If your store starts the new deals on Saturday, the coupon would still be good since Saturday is the 8th. : ) Also, if you're lucky and have a store that will accept coupons several days after the expiration date you can do this the first of the week!

    • Hollyecross

Awesome. My CVS has a sign that says 2 transactions per customer. That's new in the past couple of months. It starts out….. Attention Couponers.

      • so if you go back out to your car and come back in there going to tell you that you can't buy anything else.

      • It's about time!

GOOD! I'm tired of waiting for someone to do 6 transactions. RUDE to other shoppers. If I plan to do more than 2 transactions, I do them on different days so I don't hold up the line.

        • LynetteC.

I take my stuff to the car, search for the next transaction and get back in line. Especially when I have a bunch of stuff like last week 5 laundry detergents. I thought that's what everyone did.

          • It’s about time!

Lynette, I don’t really have a problem with that situation. I live in Newnan, GA and keep getting held up in the pharmacy stores behind inconsiderate (Multi transaction) couponers. I was in Wags a couple of Saturdays ago. The same lady was at the register the entire time I was in the store (almost 40 minutes) while her daughter wondered around the store.

        • Lara

Why does it have to be RUDE. I shop there just like y ou do. So I complain if you have 30 items in your cart and I have to wait in line behind you? i don’t see what the big deal is and why people have to be considered rude if they have multiple transations. I myself will leave the line but I do not consider people that choose otherwise rude or inconsiderate. THey have the right to do their multiple transactions just like you have the right to purchase 40 items in one transaction. To each his own. I mean jeez…exercise some patience.

          • Tara

Well if you have several transactions and you have folks behind you who may need only one item let’s say they have a sick child at home and are quickly trying to get a pain reliever then of course they would become irritated. If there are alot of people behind you, just do one and get back in line. Or do like I do and go early in the morning when nobody is there or later at night. Just try to be considerate of others.

      • Wendy

I usually try to find a slow time to go and have all my transaction in my cart (with my list showing the breakdown to keep me from getting confused LOL). Then when other customers get in line, I just finish the transaction I'm doing & go to the back of the line so no one has to wait for me to do multiple transactions, but I don't have to make another trip.

        • Q-Savvy

I only do two or three transactions at a store. And if there is someone behind me I finish that trans. and go to the back of the line. I will do this again if someone comes up behind me again and I still have more trans. to do.

      • Anonymous

I don’t find it a problem to do more than one transaction as long as you get back in line. Who cares how many you do as long as everyone else is getting checked out?

    • Morgan

Just as an FYI, you have to buy the Venus razor AND cartridges to get the ECB.

    • 3monkeysmom

If you buy 7 12-packs of Pepsi products (total $23.31) will you get both ECBs since you'll technically qualify for both???

      • Jessica

I was wondering the same thing except I was thinking about buying 6 12-packs of pepsi & 1 sobe to make the total over $20.

        • GIGI

I was wondering the same thing too. Hope someone will know it

          • Jenn

Good thing I scrolled throught the comments before posting because I was going to ask the same thing! If any one knows or tries it, please let us know!

      • liz

You wouldn't have to add the extra one. The sale is 6 12-packs for $20. Jenny lists them by the individual price, which would be about $3.33. 2 of the 6 would actually ring up $3.34 because 20 doesn't divide pretty by 6.

      • Kimber

NO, you will only get ONE $10 ECB even if you bought $40 worth of PEPSI is is ONE ECB per transaction….

        • Libby

But they are differnt deals so shouldn’t we get both?

    • Amanda

My local CVS store already has the IZZE reduced to $2.99 and they had mistakenly put up the flyer regarding the $10 ECB rewards 2 days early so they had to honor. When I tried to use the IZZE SmartSource coupons that I had printed off of Facebook, they would not take them. The manager there said that they do not accept SmartSource coupons. I also called their customer care line and they also said that they could not take coupons that were not manufacturer coupons. I don't see how this can be, but, I did not get to use them on this deal.

      • Brendaziz

smartsource coupons ARE manufacturer coupons. Almost every week the coupons you clip from the paper are smartsource coupons. Smartsource is not a store. Hmm, they were probably just confused. Sorry that they didn't honor them :(

      • ShopperSteph

I use those all the time at my CVS. I agree, they were confused. Try them at another CVS.

    • mp

I hope dr pepper is included! It if a pepsi product here

      • Bigpop80

it depends on your local distributer

      • Lisa

I think dr pepper is a coke product.

      • Tjmj9801

Mr. Pibb, the Pepsi equivalent, will most likely be included.

        • liz

Mr. Pibb is made by coke, Dr. pepper is an independent, Pepsi doesn't have an equivalent flavor

          • Tara

Dr. Pepper is a Pepsi product and is not independent. It is included. Did it this morning.

      • Wendy

Here in Western KY Dr Pepper is a Pepsi product & is included in the Pepsi sales. My best friend is very excited! LOL

      • Tara

The Dr. Pepper is included. I just went this morning. All Pepsi soda products included.

    • mo

I am somewhat new to CVS ECB deals…
Can you purchase the $20 in Pepsi products over several transactions and still receive the $10 ECB? It looks this way from the scenarios above, but I never realized you could (or would want to?) do this.
      Thanks for helping me understand!

      • Yes. It is tracked by your card.

      • Michelle

One reason to do this is to lessen your out of pocket because Jenny (in this scenario) had enough ECBs to cover the price of everything in the scenario, then use the ECBs from that tx to move to the next one. You will see at the end of your receipt how CVS tracks it; what you've purchased toward the ECB and what you need to purchase to earn the ECB.

    • Nita Royal

Is CVS still giving the $25 gift card with new prescriptions? Thanks

      • Angela

I got one a few weeks back. I did have a coupon that had printed at the bottom of one of my receipts for this and it had bar code for them to scan. I have also gotten these prescription/ gift card coupons from the red kiosk at times. Not sure if they will give it without the coupon. The expiration date on the one I have left is good til 1/24 so you might have one also.

      • Mpat

The CVS I shop at accepts competitor's prescript coups.

      • ireneY

If you're near a Kroger, there was a separate flyer in 1/2 paper with $25 prescription offer on the back.

      • Anonymous

It’s not automatic; you have to have a coupon. Most will honor competitor coupons so if you don’t have a CVS one, look in the ads for one from another store.

    • Rachel

Curious…so you can buy the required dollar amount for the ECBs in different transactions and still get the ECBs? For example, in the above scenario you have two transactions with 1 izze pack in each and then a transaction with 5 izze drinks. In all three transactions the total is $20.93 for that ECB reward of $10.

      • Yes, It is tracked by your card.

    • Janatberry

Wouldn't you have to buy 7- 6 packs of Pepsi and something else to make 20.00 or is that after taxes for the 10.00 ecb? 6x 3.33=19.98 before tax, will it still work? and if you buy 40.00 of Pepsi products all together will it print both ecb at one time…any body know?

      • Katie B.

I was about to comment the same thing. It wouldn't work the second time, you'd need something else to get you over the $20 mark.

        • Mel

I'm planning on buying 6 12-packs and hoping that I get two $10 ECBs back (one for buying $20 worth and one for buying 6 Pepsi 12 packs). If I'm a few pennies short I'll buy a Sobe for $1 in another transaction.

          • Kimber

NOPE doesn’t work that way. You get ONE $10 ECB when you buy 6 12pks and then in ANOTHER transaction you can buy 6 more and get a $10 ECB.

      • Most of the time when the post says 3.33 each, the actual price is 3/$10. One rings up at 3.34 and the other two ring up at 3.33.

      • Robin

I've been a few pennies short of the minimum purchase amount required and the ECBs still printed. I believe it will work even if the purchase amount is only $19.98.

    • Junk1111

Does CVS honor coupons from other stores?

      • Bamacat

It varies from store to store. In the Huntsville, AL, area some will accept competitor coupons, while others don't. You just need to ask at your store.

        • Mandi

I shop in Huntsville sometimes. Which one accepts competitor coupons?

          • Bamacat

The one at Providence and University, the one at Balch and Hwy 72, and I am told the one on Hughes Road, although I have never been to that one. The one at Jones Valley does NOT accept competitor coupons.

    • sarah

im trying ebay…unfortunately I'll pay out more OOP for them :/

        • melissa

the ebay prices are crazy high

        • sarah

Are you buying the 20 packs of those coupons? If so, maybe some of us could go in with you unless you want all 20?

        • Sokolsinga

on Ebay… try searching by entire inserts. I saw a buy it now for 5 inserts for $2.99 + $2.49 shipping… just a thought… my search was
          coupon inserts 1/2

          • Couponaddiction

The last two P&G weekends where it was the only insert in the paper I ordered from Ebay where they provided expedited shipping. 5 inserts for $5.48…which a friend and I split. It was cheaper than her buying a double paper at $3 and me buying one too…and we got an extra insert to share!

            • Couponaddiction

And I ordered on Sunday evening and received on Tues…very pleased!

          • Jayne

Don't you wonder where those folks are getting all of those inserts and if we couldn't just order inserts on a regular basis as well without the rest of the paper? I get multiple Sun papers and feel guilty generating so much recycling each week.

Then I also wonder about the folks selling inserts on Ebay, etc. and if they have something to do with the rising trend in missing inserts from papers around here?…. things that make you go hmm…

            • Marissalmc

The weekend that the $118 P&G coupon booklet came out, somebody in our town stole 500 newspapers…the only way I got one was from my grandmother who has her paper delivered!

            • 3bettins

I order from wholecouponinserts.com. They are local, fast and cheap. One of our local Sunday papers is only 50 cents, so it’s a good place to buy papers for inserts! This past Sunday I had to search almost 40 newspapers at Publix to find 6 that had all the inserts.

      • Knight29301

it was in this past sundays paper.

    • Kim- Knox, TN

Does this say buy 6 Pepsi 12 packs for $3.33 and then get $10 ECB?

      • Srhine85

The 12 packs are on sale for $3.33 a piece and when you buy 6 of them, you will get a $10 ECB.

      • Sis2

Actually, 1 offer says 6/$20 get $10 EB when you buy 6 and the other offer says 3/$10 spend $20 (of these products) and get $10 EB. Jenny just averaged it out to 3.33 each. The first 12 pack should ring up at 3.34 and the other 2 at 3.33 to make $10. Ad scan is available on iheartcvs if you want to look at it.

    • ebandive

So you can split up the ECB deals on multiple transactions? I see she split the Izze drinks up on multiple transactions. That works?

      • firstbrownie

Yep!! It keeps track on your card; look on the bottom of the receipt and it will show you how many you have bought and how many more you need.

      • Robin

        Yes,
Your CVS ExtraCare Card will keep track of what you have purchased and give you the ECBs once you have purchased the required amout. I have split them up several days apart without any problems.

        • ebandive

          thanks!

        • meme

Thanks for that reminder. That helps with OOP expense.

I am having trouble finding the shout stain remover coupon. When i click on printable it is pulling up the shout stain catcher coupon. Does anyone know where I can find it?

    • Theresalynn4026

I am having a hard time finding the Finish at Wags. this week. I am thinking of giving up and waiting until Sunday to go to CVS but I am afraid that by the time I get there they will be all out. I thought I read on here that you can go Saturday night late and you can get the next day (sunday) sales prices. Is that true??? And what time do I need to go??

      • Melissasalmon4

You can go Saturday night if your store is not a 24 hour one. The 24 hour stores do not start next weeks sales until Sunday morning. If your store closes at 10:00 Saturday night, I have found that I can shop around 6:00 and get the next weeks sales. HTH

        • So if my store is 24 hours can I go at 12 or 1am and get the Finish deal? My sister was planning on going on her way back into town so that I could go to a different CVS first thing in the morning and get the deal. So we weren't fighting over dishwasher detergent. :o)

          • Marlenecu

My CVS used to allow you to buy Sunday sale items the Saturday night before when the computers set the new sale. About 8pm. You may want to check with yours and see if they still do this.

          • tarabj

If you store has a kiosk scanner, just scan one item that you know is on sale to see if the computer is set to the Sunday sales. If not, then don't buy. If so, then you are golden.

      • Armywife74

At non 24hr stores you can get the next week ECB deals and sales after 6 pm on Saturday, if your store is a 24 hr store you have to wait till after midnite, HTH

      • I have never shopped CVS on Saturday for the next week's sales, so I can not answer that question. However, CVS is great about giving rainchecks, and they are honored by any CVS store.

      • carrie

Don't go to any extraordinary trouble. If they are out, get a rain check and you'll get the deal the next time they get more Finish in – probably the following week. I just did a raincheck deal today from Black Friday (I was waiting for a coupon to go with it) and I still received the ECBs.

      • franki

depends on the store. One of the busiest around me starts new ad about 2pm. Another is about 7pm.
I just choose an item from the new ad and use the red box price checker to see if it's scanning new ad price :)

      • katie

My store actually starts their Sunday deals before noon on Saturday, so both deals are running. I usually just ask a cashier for next weeks ad and they give me one, the labels probably wont be out yet so you have to check the ad for the correct sizes/ECBs. you can also use the scanner to make sure its the right one.

      • PBJ

I think it does depend on your store. However, the stores around me (Summerville, SC) all seem to run both ads all day on Saturday. I have mostly changed to going only twice a month – every other saturday. Since you can combine deals for the two weeks, you can get some awesome deals doing this I have found! (Of course, I'm sure all stores can be different, so check with yours first). Best to you!

I went to 7 Walgreens this week and none of them had it- very frustrating because of their no raincheck policy!

I got a CVS coupon today at the machine for $$$ off Gas X as well as an email for 5 off 30.
      Jenny you are awesome!

      • sherbear1111

I used to get occasional emails from CVS, but not in quite awhile. Did you sign up on their website to get the 5 off 30?

    • Mary – Southern IN

This will sound like a truly stupid question to the 'seasoned' couponers. If I buy 3 of an item…granola bars for example…and I have 3 individual coupons for .50 off per box, can I use all three coupons saving $1.50 off 3 boxes?

      • ***brooke***

        Yes! use all three! :)

      • meme

Yes, you can use a coupon per purchase. And if you are new to couponing, please note that this .50 coupon may double at your grocery store, so I double check which will be the best place to purchase. Hope this helps.

        • Mary – Southern IN

We only have one grocery that doubles coupons occasionally and then they only will double coupons to a max of $1. That would work for my granola bar example, but CVS will have them on sale so I plan to use the coupons there.

    • Shirley

I think I am missing something but if I understand it correctly, the Izze drinks and the Pepsi you have listed in your scenarios are part of the same deal. You have written up the deal as being a limit of one. My question is, how would you get another 10ecb from the Pepsi when you have already gotten it for the Izze drinks?

      • Shirley

Aaah, I see where you got it from. Another question, would it be a double dip if you just got the 12pk Pepsis? As in buy 6x$3.33 of 12pk Pepsis, get both of the 10ecbs from the deals?

    • You can get a $4 off Prevacid from http://prevacid24hr.com/coupon.jsp

    • Lisa

I am still trying to get the Wisk from this week. the shelves have been empty since Monday

    • Kimberly Woods

I am never able to print the lysol, air wick coupons on the e-centives site. It tells be something is wrong with my browser. Please help. Thanks!

    • Meanddblj

okay so I can buy 6 12 pks on the 1st option AND then $20 worth of 12 packs in the second option which will give me $10 ECB twice??? Am I correct?? I am a Pepsi drinker so I am thrilled.

      • Jbush27

        Yes, you are correct.

    • Amos

Does anyone know if DR. PEPPER is included in Pepsi products at CVS?? If so, there are some coupons out there (tear pads I found at a grocery) for $2 off (2) 12-packs of Dr. Pepper.

      Anyone know????

      • Ems

In some areas they are and in some they are not. They were for me last time but it's because the Pepsi plant in my area actually makes the Dr. Pepper. As I understand it, sometimes Coke does. I guess just try it.

    • Angelagibson4

What is CVS' policy on expired ECBs? I JUST realized that I have $10 that expired yesterday. Can I still use them? I have used expired store coupons at my CVS before, but I'm not sure if ECBs are the same.

      • Megan_A

The CVS that I shopped at in Florida would take them for a few days after they expired. We moved to NC last summer and I tried to use ECB last week that had expired the day before. They wouldn't take them. They have to key it in manually to make it work, so it's really up to the cashier or manager. It's definitely work a try, but they may not let you.

      • Lnash

I've tried it once before not knowing one had expired and the register beeped, but b/c I shop there so often and the manager was standing there he went ahead and entered it manually for me…so I guess it depends on your manager

      • Jjfrugalfriends

yes, they do take expired ECB's.

        • Jbush27

Not all do. Every CVS around me doesn’t take them even if they are a day late. It all depends on the store.

      • Sis2

Some do, some don't. Check with your store.

      • jenr

I had some month-expired ones, and the store took them!! I was the one that pointed that out, and she said it was no problem!! I wasn't trying to do anything dishonest, which is why I DID point it out, but it NEVER hurts to ask!!

      • Amy

My CVS says as long as it is witinin the same week. So if it expires on Saturday, you're out of luck. But if it expires on Sunday, you have all week.

        • June

My store will take 3 days late.

    • Miriam

More gas-x coupons if you need them! http://www.gas-x.com/coupon-offers.shtml

    • Meg

You need to spend at least $25 of the Scott/Cottonelle/Kleenex products listed to get the 10 ECB. The Pepsi deal is separate.

    • Lovelivelaugh716

Okay… so I have a question.. If I buy 6 12 packs of pepsi.. Won't (2) $10ecb's print out??? It means that I spent $20.. which meets both quotas.. no?

      • Jbush27

You could, but I would do them in 2 separate transactions to get the least out of pocket

      • Kimber

NO it doesn’t work that way, you buy 6 for $20 you get one $10 ECB then you can go back and buy 6 more for $20 and get another $10 ECB.

    • Smpadge

New here but wondering if this would work

Have $15.00 ECB from this week

      Transaction #1
      Finish Tabs(7×3=$21)–15.75 in Coupons = $5.25
      Pepsi $20 for 6 (12 pks) 2 $10 ECBS deals
      $25.25- $15.00 ECB = $10.25 OOP

Get $30 ECB (Finish & 2 Pepsi Deals if Different Deals)

      Transaction #2
      Scott 10 pk Towels $10
      Scott 24 pk TP (3 x $10) ($40-$4 in coupons=$36)
      Kleenex 3pk $3 x 2 ($6-$1 Coupon=$5)
      Cottonelle Wipes Tubs $2 x 2 ($4-$1 Coupon=$3)
      Total $50 – $6 Coupons – $30 ECB = $14.00 OOP

      Get $20 ECB (Limit 2 Scott/Kleenex Deals)

      Transaction #3
      Ziploc 2/$5 (-$1 Coupon) (1 ECB)
      Pantene $5.99 x 2 $11.98-$3 Coupon = $8.98 (3 ECB)
      Reeses Minis $1.59 (1.59 ECB)
      Snickers $0.89 (0.89 ECB)
      Finish Tabs 3*.75 = $2.25 with Coupons

      $17.71 + 2.88 Water = $20.59 – 20 ECB

      $0.59 OOP

Get $6.48 ECB for next week

      $24.84 OOP for all this

      Sorry for the long post

      • Wdra0632

You are only allowed to do one deal per card. The Scoot deal will only print out one 10 ecb not 4.

        • Smpadge

The ad I have says Limit 2 Scott Deals per household. Spend $25 get $10 so if I spend $50 I should get $20 since the Limit is 2???

          • Tventim

yeah that is correct if the ad says limit 2, it will probably print as $20ECB if you do it in the same transaction instead of 2- $10ECB if you did them seperatley, which is fine some people just like smaller amounts of ECB so they can split it up more.

        • Tventim

          Scott 10 pk Towels $10
          Scott 24 pk TP (3 x $10) ($40-$4 in coupons=$36)

I think she meant she had $4 in Q's not $10ECB and $4 ECB (see above)

        • Tventim

I just checked the ad scan on I heart CVS and it says limit 2

      • Bryarsmom

Knowing you're fairly new to the Qing game, sounds good.
But your goal should always be to make your OOP as low as possible as you roll your deals.
This is why sometimes it pays to hold em rather than play them on a given week-waiting for even better opportunities.

    • Bkenney480

Just so you know, ecb's actually expire on the date printed on the ticket, and the time you checked out
of the store. If your exb expires on January 21, 2011
and you checked out at 9:57 A.M , this is when
      your ecb expires.

      • selena

My frequently visited CVS store allows me to use my expired ECB's without any problem. I tell them if they are expired and they say, “Oh no problem, you can still use them.”

      • Jbush27

I have never had a problem. I frequently use ecb's the day they say they expire. Now, if I go the very next day my CVS will not take it because it then will be a day later than it states and that is considered expired. It is really up to the cashier, the computer isn't going to be able to tell if it is expired or not.

    • Wdra0632

You will need to buy seven instead of five Izze drinks in transaction #3 to get the 10 ecb's.

      • Morgan

She is using the two (2) Izze purchased in the other transactions to complete the deal. So that would make it seven total.

    • sharon

does anyone have any of the finish $2.25 coupons?I just need just a few I have several of the P&G bookets that I would love to trade my email is shicks64@gmail.com.thank you

    • Zombiemommy

Man when I read this I thought the regular Scott Toilet tissue was on sale.. I was so excited to get 72 rolls for 13 bucks.

This is for the Extra Soft. Big difference on the septic tank:(

    • Savemoney08

where do u guys get the p&g booklet and all those other books of coupons?

      • Kelly C

go to p&g's website and it gives you the details how to be sent their booklet.

    • Kimberlywoods1

I am unable to print any of the lysol and air wick coupons on the e-centives / home solutions site. It says unable to support printing on the system. Please help, thanks!

      • Jenn

What operating system is on your computer? I have 2 computers, 1 with Windows XP and the other with Windows 7. I can not print form the one running Windows 7 because it will not support it. I can only use e-centives on the one with XP. Hope this helps.

        • wolverinehokie

I was only able to print using internet explorer (I normally use Chrome).

    • Blonderw03

Just so people realize….6 x 3.33 is only $19.98…so you'd still need to pick another item to create the $20…

      • Tventim

Im pretty sure from other posts in the past they will let you get the ECB if you are 2 cents off, someone posted that once, im not sure though I was just thinking that myself.

        • Angela

i work at cvs and yes, i did a deal this week, spend $25 get $10 the lady was .01 cent off and it printed…. :-)

        • katie

mine printed at 14.95 for the $15 duracell deal a few weeks ago

      • Guest

I thought the price was 6 packs for 20.00.

        • Klynn

It is. I think everyone is focused on the break down of 3.33ea.

          • keb2009

of course we're focused on the $3.33 each, because thats how much they cost each. 6x $3.33= $19.98, not $20. but its a moot point if they let you roll with it under $20

            • Klynn

On the front of the sale paper is says 6/$20.

            • Nicole

If you buy 6, 4 of them will ring up 3.33 and 2 will ring up 3.34 so your total comes to $20. It won't actually come to 19.98.

            • Sis2

No, they actually cost 3/$10 so they all don't ring up 3.33. One rings up 3.34.

      • Angela

They are ringing up 3.33 first one, 3.33 second, and 3.34 third so 3/ $10 or 6/$20. Bought some yesterday.

    • AmyLauren

Does anyone know if Diet Mt. Dew is one of the 12-packs that will be on sale/ECB deals?

      • Sarah

It has always been included in the past – great for stocking up!! :)

      • cahileman

They are at my CVS, I was in to scout out the sale scene!! LOL

    • wolverinehokie

I think this should be a $4 money maker:
4 Air Wick Scented Oil Refills 2pk
      – (2) $2 Air Wick Scented Oil Refills 2pk
      – (2) B1G1 Air Wick Refills
      1 Air Wick FreshMatic Kit
      – (1) $4 Air Wick Freshmatic starter kit

      • sarah

Which inserts could I find those coupons in? I don't have enough of hte Finish $2.25 coupons to use and I was trying to figure out how else I could still get the $10 ECB with that deal. This scenario may work for methough….

    • Salchase

Can I buy 12 12 packs of pepsi and then get 20 ecb back?

      • Jbush27

Yes, But I would split the transaction up to spend the least out of pocket. I would do one deal and get $10 ecb's back and then use those ecb's to pay for the second transaction.

    • Katkoupon

I can't get the “$1 off Scott bath tissue or towels” printable to work, says I've already printed number allowed, I'm pretty sure I haven't printed them. I even tried another computer and went to the site directly, still not working. Is anyone else having problems with this? I really wanted 2 toilet papers, but I will get 1 TP and 1 PT and use the $2/2 if I have to.

      • Nicole

It probably means that they reached the total amount of prints for everybody, not that you have actually printed them before. They set a certain amount to be printed and then once they reach that, sometimes it says you've already printed them. Other times it says “There are no prints for this campaign”

    • Mikamoris

Can anyone tell me how they got the P&G Have You Tried This Yet? booklet? Thanks!

      • michelle R

go to pgeverydaysolutions.com sign up or log in and find the brand sampler link it should be on the main screen to the left. hth

      • Jnn_horan

You have to register on the P&G website and they send you e-mails when they have a promotion going…… not sure if this one is over or not.

      • Jbush27

I got it in the mail a couple months back. unfortunately you can't get one now. Sign up on the p&g web site and check your email for their deals.

    • Mrs. B

Not sure how much the Nature Made Vitamins are but a $4 off coupon printed on my receipt last week for these. On the coupon it says up to a $4 value, so one can assume that it will be around $4 bucks! Since they are B1B1 on the new add, that means I can get 2 of them for FREE!!!

    • Salchase

I have an email for $5.00 off a purchase of $30. Does anyone know if I can print this twice and use it for two different $30 purchases?

      • Ksilvers04

you should be able to, I have done that at my local store.

        • Jessica

You shouldn't be able to. That is coupon duplication, which is definitely not allowed.

          • Jbush27

Yes, even if you are able to get away with it doesn't mean you should.

          • Ksilvers04

well i didnt realize that. I assumed it was just like hitting the back button on any other coupon to print it twice. They always take it at my store and have never mentioned that you couldnt use it two times. I knew the printable ecb's were attached to your account but I did not think that applied to the 4 off 20 or 5 off 30 purchases since they have been taking them from me twice.

            • Ksilvers04

also i just checked my printouts….my printable ecb says 'coupon may only be redeemed once..limit one per customer….which i knew that for the ecb's. However the $5 off $30 coupon does not say anything at all about only being able to use one per customer. So I'm curious as to where you guys are getting that it is 'coupon duplication and not allowed'. I'm not saying you are wrong, I would just like to know where you found this.

      • Melissa

No. 2nd time you scan it, it will tell the cashier the coupon has already been redeemed. They are attached to you Card.

      • Ashbrk77

The coupon will BEEP the second time if you tried and not go through

    • Ksilvers04

Has anyone tried to $20 pepsi purchase yet to see if 2 $10 ecb's print?

      • This is the new sale beginning Sunday. Can't try it yet. Based on last year's same deal tho, you could do it twice!

        • cahileman

“Based on last year's same deal tho, you could do it twice!” Are you saying that if I complete the $20 Pepsi purchase with using 6 12 packs that I will get both ECB at one time, and I can do it twice for a total of 4 $10 ecb's?? Or must I have two seperate transactions (meaning I would end up buying 12 12 packs (plus 1 2 liter) to make this work??

          • Jbush27

It means you can do the 2 different Pepsi deals posted once each. The first deal is buy 6 and get $10ecb's back. The second deal is spend $20 in Pepsi and get back $10. So, you could buy 12, 12packs and you would get back $20 in ecb's, but I would do one deal, get $10 ecb's and then do the second deal and end up with $10 ecb's in the end.

          • The deal is 6 cases of soda for $20 with a $10 ECB. You can do this deal 2 times. I haven’t done mine yet. Going tonight. But, you can do it 2 times. I personally would do it in 2 transactions.

    • CouponMe

If I am doing Transaction 3 only, I don't understand how having the intial 10 ECB can get me a total due of nothing and get 10 ECB back. 5 packs of Izzi drinks are not 20 dollars. Please enlighten me.

      • Jessica

You can't do that transaction alone. She also purchased 1 pack of Izze drinks in trans#1 & another pack in trans#2 for a total of 7 packs. Since CVS keeps up with your ECB purchases over multiple transactions, the $10 would print once the $20 requirement has been met.

        • Jbush27

And this is why I love Jenny, because I would never think of that on my own.

    • Joni

Can someone please tell me if there is a limit on how many ECB deals you can get back in one tranaction? For example, if I wanted to do one of the deals in which I would get $10ECB back but needed a filler item like a candy bar that also came with a ECB would I get my $10ECB + $0.89ECB in the same transaction or do I HAVE to split them up???

      • M_a_tovanche

Yes, you can get multiple ECB deals in one transaction for different offers. It's just better to break your transactions up so that you can use ECB's earned in one transaction to pay for a 2nd or 3rd one and spend little OOP.

        • Joni

Thank you, I was just making up scenarios for myself and realized if I buy 4-$6 Freshmatic Starter Kits and use 4-$4 off coupons that my total would come up to $8.00 (less than $10 and I have a $10ECB I need to use) So I was thinking I could add the BOGO 20oz Coke (w coupon) and $0.89 snickers (w/ECB) as a filler, then turn around and use them on my next ransaction which will require more that $10.00ECB anyways. (Does, that sound right? lol) I'm new at this!

          • ChrissyPunkin

Sounds good. Yes, you want to make sure your subtotal is $10 or more, otherwise you won't get the entire value of the $10 ECB. It's hard to tell on the little screen, so I'm always asking the cashier what my subtotal is. There should also be a lot of Christmas clearance items that you could use as fillers, as well.

            • Kathryn

Wouldn't she get the ECB's based on the total before coupons? 4 @ $6=$24. Deal is $10 ECB's if you buy $20.

            • Jbush27

I don't know if I understand what you are asking, but what she is saying is that after coupons her total will be $8 and she has $10 ecb's from a previous week that she wants to use on that deal, but if she doesn't use a filler item she will just lose $2.

            • ChrissyPunkin

We are actually talking about paying with ECBs, not what she will get. Yes, she will get $10 ECBs based on the fact that her total before coupons was over $20.

            • Elizabethdiann

I found some great .99 nivea products with the make up to use as fillers, then next month as valentines gifts.

      • Mary

You do not need “fillers” at CVS, unless your total after tax, coupons, and ecbs would be negative. Each ECB deal prints our separately. The purpose of splitting the purchases up is to roll your ECBs.

    • mo

Can anyone explain the terms of the $5 off $30 coupon?
Does your total need to be $30 after coupons or does it apply to the before coupon total?
      Thanks!

      • katie

your total before coupons, although after “sale” price. Make sure you use the $5/30 first, before any manufacturers coupons to prevent your total from dropping below $30.

    • Klane08

You could get 7 pepsi's at $3.33 for $23.31 then get back $20… making it 3.31 for 7!!!

      • guest

They are two different offers. You would only get back $10.

        • Jbush27

Yep, if you bought 7 Pepsi's for 23.31 you would only get back $10 ecb's and then you would have to do the second deal. But really you only have to purchase 6 for $20, get back $10 ecb's then do the other deal of buying 6 for 20, you would give them the ecb's you got from the first deal and then get back $10 ecb's. Essentially you would be spending $19.92 for 12, 12pks of Pepsi, if that's what you want.

          • Jennifer R

Why would she only get $10 ECB back? She fulfilled both offers right? Shouldn't both $10 ECB print out!

    • gkhtoys

Have any of your local CVS stores marked their Christmas items to 75% off yet?
Mine said they were going to stop at 50% and pack up their stuff so that nothing would go for 75%. Doesn't seem fair to me but, what do you all think?

      • Erin

Why isn't that fair? CVS doesn't owe customers great clearance deals.

        • sandra

          AMEN

        • Karen

gkhtoys is right. She just knows usually all stores at some point go to 75% off.She just thinks it isn't fair because that's just the thing all stores do. No big deal. And no, they don't owe us anything but it sure would be nice. Besides, they can just keep it at 50% off and we can just get it at Rite Aid.

        • Bee

Truly, no store owes us great clearance deals. They could order more conservatively and have barely anything left at the end of the season. I've seen more than one store only purchase a set amount and when it's gone, well it's gone!

        • Measuretwicecutonce

Thank you! I agree completely. The mindset of entitlement it starting to bubble over. What happened to being grateful for ANY discount?

      • Jbush27

When I was in there last week one of the cashiers said this was the last week of 50% off and that this coming week it should be 75% off.

      • Sistagirl61

It's 75% off in Nashville, TN.

      • Anne

Mine went 75% off last Sunday.

      • Debbie

It goes by the DM's in those markets. I guess they price by what they think the market can bear, and in the stores here, it looks as if there is little left to go on at 75%, so I guess it works for them!

      • Measuretwicecutonce

Fair? Are you kidding? It is their product and they are already discounting to 50%. I mean 75% mark down would be nice but fairness has nothing to do with it.

    • mominsc

Can you purchase 4 of the Air Wick Freshmatic Refills at $5 each and use 4 B1G1 Free Coupons for a $0.00 oop?

      • Jessica

You would only be able to use 2 B1G1 coupons… and would have to pay for 2

      • viviana

        mominsc
where did u get the B1G1 free coupons for the airwick?

        • angie

          last weeks gville paper!

      • angie

mominsc my cvs lets me use 4 b1f1f i asked before i did it and she said if it scans we take it. so i got 4 free and ECB!

    • Georgia

If you do the 2nd Pepsi offer for $10 wyb $20 of Pepsi products, 6 12pks come to $19.98. I think you would have to buy a 2 liter for a $1 to hit right over $20. . . .is that correct?

      • Q-Savvy

Georgia, there are comments below that will help you. I thought the same as you but a comment below states the sale is 3 for $10. or 6 for $20. the comment stated that the first one rings up 3.33, the next one rings up 3.33 and the third one rings up 3.34 making it $10. for three. Take a look at the posted comment.

    • Jennifer

According to the ad scan the 12 pks are 6/$20. I think it was “broken down” to show they average about $3.33 a pack (before ecb). But the ad actually does show it as 6/$20, so we all should be ok to just purchase the 6 of the 12 pks. Hope that helps.

    • Kwasibor

FYI If you have a $1 off Finish Quantum it works on the GelPacks and Tablets. I was checking out at the self check out and scanned the $1 off on accident and it worked! Whoo hoo

      • Morgan

Just because it does work doesn't mean you should do it. It is still coupon fraud if you are using it for an item that it was not intended for.

        • Karen

They still get their money either way. It is the same company. So if the registers take it then that is not our fault.

          • Measuretwicecutonce

Manufacturers put out coupons that match a particular item based on the price of the product. By committing coupon fraud you hurt the future of couponing for all of us. I have been couponing for years and have seen suttle and more restrictive changes to couponsin. If we don't police ourselves with integrity then we risk losing the rewards of couponing. Trust me – manufacturers will not lose in this game. If a coupon does not match a product then do not use it – otherwise you are leaving the decision of an honest transaction to a computerized register and that is a sad commentary on your integrity.

            • Bee

Although I am sure we will all be fine if one or two people inadvertently use the wrong coupon, the premise of what you are saying is very true. The companies are not going to continually sacrifice their bottom line to make people happy. They are not charitable organizations. Also, it's just not the way capitalism works.

With that said, I think that the more people overall who redeem coupons (fraudulently or not), the more companies will look for ways to curtail their coupon liability (lower amounts, shorter expiration dates, higher prices, etc). I have noticed Kroger has raised their mega sale prices from the last time they had a frozen product mega sale. It's only about .15 per item, but still…I am sure the manufacturers of those products are charging them more now, which just gets passed to us.

Remember, manufacturers are only accustomed to having a tiny amount of coupons redeemed. As the word gets out, obviously, they stand to lose more money and change their tactics.

It's always good to have a back-up plan in case coupons turn out not to be such a good deal, or the drugstores rein in their rewards programs, etc, etc. AND…we should be grateful to people who actually pay full price for items because they are subsidizing the deals we get as couponers.

          • Central Florida

But it is your fault, and fraudulent, for not using the coupon as it is intended. CVS, as well as the manufactures, are generous enough as it is.

            • Mary

Lord I had to search for this thread for an hour! Meant to respond Saturday… anyway, I made a mistake one day in the grocery store and gave them a Dixie Crystal Coupon instead of a Domino coupon. Neither the cashier or I noticed it untll the end of the transaction, and it was I who brought it to her attention. She called the manager over, but for some reason they could not take the coupon off. So what did I do? I grabbed a pack of gum let her scan it, and placed it back.. I figured I got .50 taken off my bill, and the gum was .75 , so maybe they (someone) would come out ahead…I tried to be honest and fair.

    • OMG…I almost shredded by ECB. Granted it was $1…but…yeah….pulled it out just in time.

    • Jan

Since the Pepsi's are part of 2 different ECB offers, if I buy $20+ of them will I get 2 $10 ECB's back? I will have bought the 6 to earn the first $10 and $20+ to earn the second $10 as they are different offers? Anyone know? Thanks!

      • Jen

I just did the pepsi deal, I bought 6, and only one $10 ECB printed…

    • Kim- Knox, TN

Tomorrow I am starting out with $26ECBs. So, I will get the snickers & mini reeses & get get the $2.48ECBs back. Then will get the 6 pepsi 12packs & use $20ECBs & rec $10ECBs. then I will buy 4 startbucks frapps for $4.99 & use (4) $1 Qs making it $16.99. I'll use $17 ECB & owe ZERO (except tax). And receive $10ECBs. My ECB balance will be $11.48!!!!! Stoked!

    • Jbush27

I just got back from my shopping trip. My CVS starts their sales at 8am on Saturdays, I was told 12noon, but when I got there at 12 and saw that all the Finish power gels were gone I knew something was up. I went up to the cashier she said they started at 8am and that at 8am their were women waiting to get in the store and the shelves were quickly wiped clean. The Gas X Prevention was also gone already. The Pepsi was also almost wiped clean. I did one deal on that and I got the Reese's mini's and a Snickers. A lot of Southern Savers shop at the CVS in Covington, Ga on the corner of Brown Bridge rd and HWY 212. I was standing in line behind a fellow Southern Saver as I was checking out. So hi to the woman I was speaking to! I got rain checks, so hopefully I will get them next week.

      • Debbie

I hate that happens, but what to do? I just came from my fav CVS in Cayce, and their stock of the deal items is going to be gone just like that.

        • Jcomputerman

easy, get a rain check.. If they run out, you can get it another week…

          • Jbush27

I did, as I stated at the end.

      • Barbara

I’m so glad I read this! That’s the CVS I shop and I didn’t know they started the sale on Saturday morning but I was thinking of trying to get over there before the weather gets bad tomorrow. Guess I’ll just hit them up for rain checks whenever school starts back. lol

      • Amber

I would try one of the other CVS if that one is too competitive. I don't believe that the one up on Honey Creek and 138 is anywhere near that competitive. Or just take them to Rite Aid. I am actually relieved to know everyone in town is blowing theirs at CVS today, means I will be good to go at Rite aid!

        • Jbush27

The only reason I don’t shop at that one is because they don’t start the sale on Saturdays

    • Is anyone else having problems with the Scott $2.00 off coupon from their website?

      • Janrenee

It would not print from my google chrome, but printed as many as I wanted from internet explorer. I saw someone else say that it printed from firefox also.

    • Cyndi

Just got back from my CVS trip. I didn't start off with many ECB's, but I still saved 66%. I did the Pepsi deal twice. Got 12 12 packs and only one $10 ECB printed off. My cashier thankfully pushed another one through for me. Heads up: The general Pepsi product deal is the one that will not print. Missed out on the Finish deal, but did get the Airwick products at a great price. My store starts the ad Friday night, so lots of people beat me to the deals!

      • Jbush27

Why in the world would they start the deals on Friday night if the sale starts on Sunday. I can barely understand why they chose to do it on Saturdays.

        • Bee

Then I would just get rain checks. That's what I did for Walgreen's Finish. I didn't really need detergent immediately and am glad to be able to have more options.

          • Carla

Walgreens rain checks do not give you the RR for the item. You will get the sale price but no RR if you go back later. At lease CVS gives you the ECB when you redeem your raincheck.

            • Bee

I always get the RR on my Wag's rainchecks.

    • If the items scan at the sale price- does that mean the ecb will print for next week's deals?:) I have never gone shopping on a Sat for the next week's deals, and would like to try today!:)

      • Amy T

Yes, just be careful because it will give you whichever price the computer decides is best. So if it's on sale this week for $5.99 and on sale tomorrow for $6.99 with $4 ECB, it's going to give you the $5.99 price with no ECB.

    • Sandy

I am new to shopping at CVS, can you use competitor coupons there, like Target?

      • Jbush27

I don't think many CVS's do, but you should ask when you go to make sure.

        • Sara S.

I know I've used some at CVS stores that say “manufacturer coupon” at the top but have a store logo (like Target, for example). Not sure about straight up store coupons from other stores, though.

    • 2Cor12_9

Can I do 7 Finish and not the Air Wick and get the same ECB?? On my way now. Sale starts at 6pm

      • Amy T

        Yes, that's what I'm doing.

      • sealey5

I think you can. I won't be getting the Lysol because the coupon won't print on my computer. What I plan to do is get (5) Finish pkgs. and use (5) $2.25 q. along with the 1 Air wick starter. and use 1 ($4 off q). Hope that helps! :)

      • dealseeker

I did 7 finish, but you better hurry, I got the last gel pacs, there were still plenty of the tabs. They also had to get the scott paper towels and toilet paper out of the back, they didn't have it out. The pepsi's were low also. I would hope they have a truck load of pepsi 12 packs in the back with this deal starting.

    • Supermom997

So what if I buy the 6 12 pks of pepsi and 1 2 liter to bring it up to 20 will i get $20 back then?

      • firstbrownie

If you scroll down a bit further, you will see that people have already tried that. I'm not intending to be rude, but I have seen that same question asked at least 10 times in the comments so far. For the sale not technically even starting yet, there are 270+ comments here and the majority are repeats. Happy shopping!

      • Kimber

        NO!

    • Supermom997

they start the deals early depending on the managers when they can que them in. i know a manager that ques them in as early as thrusday eve

    • angela

I am new at this system with CVS. What does it mean 1 limit? Does it mean per trasaction or per sale period? Trying to lay my daels out and seen it said one limit.

    • Kimber

Pepsi is ONE $10 ECB per transaction so only buy 6 12pks at a time

    • guest

My husband just got back from CVS with 12 12pks and 10 ECBs. In his first transaction he bought 6 diet sierra mists used ECBs from last week and got 10 ECBs back. in the second transaction he got 2 diet dr. pepper and 4 diet mtn. dews. he used the 10 ECBs from tran1 and got 10 ECBs back. I will say that the cashier wasn't sure if the dr. pepper products were included so she just scanned the sierra mist again. So everything worked out fine, I'm not sure why people are over thinking this one. We are swimmimg in soda:)

    • I just got back from cvs- I found out shopping a day early is a good to way to have items in stock! They did not carry the kleenex bundle, so I had to sub cottonelle moist wipes. I did the scott paper towel deal, the finish deal, and one pepsi deal… I spent $17.17, and saved $95.62 :) (I began w/ $15 ecbs, and ended w/ $10). I will go back next week to do the pepsi deal again, I can only do 3 transactions before I stop paying attention and miss/make a mistake! They only had 5 finish- so I got those and one of the freshomatic spray things ($5, w/ $3 coupon).

    • You are lucky- my walgreens won't give a raincheck w/o a big argument, much less a RR raincheck. I really appreciate how amazing and generous cvs is w/ ecb rainchecks!:)

      • Bee

I've never thought twice about it and I go to three different Wag's and get treated great at all three. The managers at each stores will also call all over town to find out-of-stock items for me and if I don't want to drive to that Wag's, they will have the item brought to the Wag's closest to me.

Only problems I have ever had are with one older lady cashier who seems to get a little put out by people getting deals, but she has worked there a long time and if you talk nicely to her, she will do what she can.

    • Deblewellen

I don't get your math on the deal for the scott's, should be $13.25, after coupons and $10ECB not $3.25

      • Sandy

        10+10+3+3= $26
        -2-.50-.50= $23
        Get back $10 ECB= $13
        $13/4 = $3.25

      • Flaming0girl

I think it's $3.25 for each product, not for the total purchase.

    • DKunig

Does anybody know if the Pepsi deal includes Dr. Pepper?

      • dealseeker

yes it does, I just got some. I'm in Dallas Ga.

      • Susan

Depends on where you live and the distributorship….Where I live in NC, Pepsi distributes Dr. Pepper. I work in SC and coke is the Dr. Pepper distributor.

    • Ginger

Can anyone give me advice? I know there's been a 4 off 20 email going out, and as usual, I didn't get one. I haven't gotten one in ages, and I am registered. I checked on the CVS website, and it wouldn't let me do anything, it said I was already registered. So I called CVS customer service towards the beginning of December, and asked the lady if she could turn my emails back on. She said the more you use the things they send you, the more will be generated. Well, as far as I know, I've NEVER let one go unused. She checked my history, and said I was right, I haven't been sent an email since February. So she said she would do something in the system to try to restart my emails, but it looks like it didn't work, because some of you guys are getting them, and I'm still not. So anyone know how to get them to start sending the emails again if they've stopped? TIA.

      • Jbush27

Unfortunately, it goes by how much you shop at CVS. If you are a weekly shopper you won't get one. I haven't gotten one in over a year. When I first started shopping there last Jan. I was getting them every week, and then after a couple of months, nothing. I contacted CVS and they said that they use those coupons to draw people in that haven't shopped in a while.

        • Ginger

          Aw, rats. Thanks, though. :)

        • Papaandnaya

I shop about 2 times a week and I get the emails about every week.

    • Mom of 4

Just got back from CVS… started with $15 ECB…. bought 12 12pks of Dr. Pepper, 5 packs of Finish dishwasher tabs, 1 candy bar =), and 1 Air Wick freshmatic kit… oop total was $10.06, ended with $20 ECB…. that's a saving of 91%…. my favorite CVS trip EVER =)

      • Sharon

I am not feeling well so sent the husband for the drinks last night . Had him buy 12 12pks all in one transaction, but only one of the $10 ecbs printed. Knowing I would not approve, he had them ring it up in separate tranactons and he used his cvs card to get the other $10 ecb bucks.

        • gardengirl

If I could have gotten my DH to go for me, he would have just come home and told me he didn't notice the problem. How sweet of your husband to handle the problem before coming home! I hope your feeling better!

    • Juls60

Deal Idea on the $10 ECB WYB $20 Lysol, Finish, Airwick

      Buy:
      (3) Finish Detergents $3
      (2) Air Wick FreshMatic Kit $6

      Use:
      (3) -$2.25 off Finish 20 ct + SS 1/02
      (2) -$4 off Air Wick Freshmatic SS 1/02

      Total Due: $6.25
Get Back: $10 ECB, you make $3.75 profit!!

    • Ivajean

Did two transactions tonight and paid a total of 8.50 altogether. The first transaction included 2 Finish products, 1 can of Lysol, 2 Airwick starters, and the candy. The second transaction included 6 cartons of Pepsi. Yay me!!!! I used ecbs, and coupons. The coupons on the Finish and Airwick were great. Especially the Airwick starter kits. (reg. price 12.99, on sale for 6.00, then minus the 4.00 coupon on ea.)

      • Shopgirlmgr

look at your reciept i just bought the airwick starter kits they are ringing up 7.29 they had to refund me the difference said it must have not got in the system yet

    • Ttravismalone

I went to cvs in powell, tn. and done the transaction #3 with the (5) izzi drinks @ $2.99 each and it didn't give me a $10 ecb. i think the problem with that scenario is that you only buy $15 worth of drinks when you need $20 worth to get the $10 ecb. Did anybody else run into that problem?

      • Courtney

thats why she had an izzi drink in transaction #1 and #2, with cvs you don't have to buy all of a quallifying thing at one time for ecbs, so you can go back and get 2 more and you will get your ecbs

        • Ttravismalone

thanx courtney, llearn something new everyday…i had them refund my money than went back and got a couple 12 packs of pepsi's to get it up to $20 but i got screwed in the whole deal with the refund and all…i skipped a couple of scenerio's too. so that prolly didn't help. didn't need the gas-x. thanx again

      • Shopgirlmgr

there are two different pepesi ebc going on . one is 20 in pepsi products only 1 s 20 in pepsi lays etc prdoucts so you have to watch what you are doing

    • cahileman

Wen't into my CVS at 11:30 last night… got my 7 finish products. A lady came in behind me and swept the shelf clean of all that were left. I realize that after the ECB deal, they are still only .75 a box, but that's why I went in early. I got screwed at Walgreens last week!!

    • last time I printed Starbucks Coupons was a VERY Long time ago. And it still says I already printed them, Dont these thing ever redo.. ugg That is frustrating

      • happymom

tell me about it- I printed a desitin q last May and it still hasn't reset!

      • Ashley

i was able to print…its been a while for me too…i get there and they didn't even receive any starbucks…i was a little upset

    • CouponKing

I know that Harris Teeter will honor Wags RR's. Will they also honor CVS ECB's?

      • Valeriehcox

        No.

    • Central FLorida

If you are planning to score on the Gas-X deal,,,the Gas-X prevention (which the $4 coupon is for) is shown in the ad, nor is there a tag by it However,it IS part of the buy $20 get 10ECB. There is a $5 off Maalox coupon in the paper today, which is also included in the deal.

      My purchase
      (2) Gas -x Prevention @ $6.29(used 2 $4 off)
      (1) Maalox @ $6.49 (used $5 off)
      (1) Gas-X Extra Strength,20 ct @ $5.99 (used $3 off PRINTABLE-SS database)

      TOTAL $25.06
      Coupons (-16)
      Total due-$9.06
      Got back -$10 ECB
      PROFIT $0.94

PS–the Cottonelle packs are WAY smaller than last year…so I went with the SCOTT extrasoft 24 pack, used (2) $1.00 off printable coupons(that is all I could print) and got each pack for $5.60. (Bought 5–deal can be done twice) Hopefully that was not a mistake!:)

      • Central Florida

TYPO:Sorry, Gas-X prevention NOT shown in the ad

      • Artlady8

what is you zip code for the ssgas x coupon?

        • Central Florida

Printed awhile ago (beginning of Dec)…try 90210.

      • Godot

Thanks for the tip on the Maalox coupon! I would have missed it but for you — made a good deal even better with the $6.49 Maalox.

    • Ivajean

Just curious, Some of you who say items have already been sold off the shelves the day before the sale….are those the only items available or do the stores not keep enough stock in storage to last past the Saturday before the sale? Just curious. Our store is a smaller store, so there aren't a lot of items displayed. When I went in last night there were probably 4 Airwick starter kits on the shelf, and a few Finish products, but I'm just wondering if there is more in stock storage, that they replenish shelves with….do any of you finding this problem check with a clerk to see. Just curious.

      • Central Florida

They will get a truck during the week, however, sometimes the product is there, others not. Always get a rain check, just in case. They never expire, and CVS will give you the deal, ECB's and all!

        • Ivajean

Thanks for letting me know that they'll give you a raincheck, ecb's too! I'll remember that. When you get a raincheck, do they contact you when the item is in, or do you just have to keep checking? Thanks again.

          • Keldansmom

Not only will they give you a raincheck, I have been able to substitute a similar item. Last week the Wisk was sold out, so the most awesome night manager let me buy Gain (which I prefer anyway!), use the Wisk coupons and get the ECBs. I just LOVE CVS

            • Jbush27

That was generous of him, but I don't know why he would have done that as he will not get reimbursed on the wisk coupons.

          • Jbush27

You'll just have to keep checking.

      • Myracash66

Went last night to CVS abd the only had 3 Finish, 1 Airwick so I I couldn't do that deal. They checked to see if they had more in stock and they didn't, said it would be 2 weeks. Makes me crazy that they know these things are going to be on sale and they have no stock! Got a raincheck and will get the deal when they get more in.

      • Cadi

My soultion to product availablity is planning… these ads are all over the internet weeks in advance. If you know there is a deal coming that you really want to take advange of just let the manager know and they will be more than happy to increase their stock order for that week. I'm not a huge stockpiler but they had a similar Finish deal last year that was not an ECB deal but ended up free. I got 21 boxes. I'm down to my last 3. I have 20 2.25 coupons and 21 boxes set aside for me again this year. I can go at my leasure- and I'm not going to swipe the shelves clean the min. the deal starts. It's a win/win, and dishwashing detergent will not be on my radar for at least another 10 months. I also only make this request if it's something that I really need and that we use…which usually equates to 3-4 times a year.

      • Shopgirlmgr

ask for rain checks they will give them to you and the ebc whn they get the products in make sure when you get the raincheck to have them put the ebc amount you are to get on it.

    • Debra

Question? Can I buy 4 Airwick Freshmatic refills and still get back $10 ECB'S? I noticed b1g1 coupons in the 1/2/11 inserts and thought this might work. Does sound like it would work? Thanks for any help in advance.

      • Amy J.

yes…..buy 4 refills ($5 each = $20) and use 2 of the b1g1 q's, pay $10 + tax out of pocket (OOP) and get back $10 ECB's…….if you have ECB's from the past couple of weeks to use, that makes it an even better deal. HTH!

    • Denise

I noticed a few comments about rain checks. I usually shop early in the week and sometimes they're out of things then. Do I have to wait until Saturday and go get the rain check or will they give it out earlier?

      • Keldansmom

I don't know if it depends on the store, but I have gotten them earlier in the week and they never expire, so I just check the next time I am shopping.

      • Beth

I get a rainchheck right away. no problems. sometimes I like being able to use it later.

    • Keldansmom

Yay! I was concerned reading other comments that my store might be sold out of items, but luckily it was not :). Started with $10 ECBs, spent $21.73 OOP (inc tax) for $135.60 worth of products and left with $10 ECBs. Maybe not as good as someone more experienced but I am a fairly new at this, so very happy. Thank you Jenny!!!!

      • Artlady8

        what did you buy?

    • Ivajean

When purchasing bogo, can you use two manufacturer's coupons? For instance, last week, I purchased the bogo Olive oil and used one man. coupon for $1 off. Could I have used two coupons?

      • Ablack420

Yes, you can use 2 on a BOGO

    • Traci

Went to CVS bright and early and they were already out of the Izze products…I was told that they only stock a few in the store. ARGGG. I got 6 Pepsi 12 packs, great deal! I will try CVS later in the week and if they are not in get a rain check. I have never gotten one before. If you get the rain check will you still get the ECB at a later date even when the sale is not running?

      • june

I was nervouse about getting rainchecks attatched to ecb in the past until a cashier actually cut out the ad showing the price and the ecb. When I used the raincheck the ecb didn't print (it had been a while and had cycled out of the computer) and the cashier called the manager over and he gave me the cash. No problems other than taking a little longer for the manager to verify.

      • Yes, just make sure they write in the ECB amount. I had to get one for the Wisk last week and she put the price 2/$10 and she put that if I spend $25 I will get the $10 ECB.

      • Angela

Whenever I get a raincheck from them, I usually staple the ad to it so that there is no questions to the ECB's that should be given and I have never had any problems getting mine printed.

    • DuncanMomof2

I stopped by CVS this morning determined to do the Electrasol deal. They only had 7 left. Thank goodness b/c they had emailed me a $4/$20 coupon and I did not want it to expire. I also did the Scotts Tissue/Paper towel deal and the Pepsi deal oh and the Maalox deal. I had a great morning. I'm just glad I was able to snag all 7 Electrasols.

    • Czalinsky

CVS LADY WOULDN'T accept my $2 off coupons for Scott because she said it had to be individual rolls in order for coupon to work.. And she was mean as he'll about it too.

      • Janrenee

I had 2 qs for the Scott products, both $2. They would only accept one. I also had a coupon for ziploc bags from insert that wouldn't take. Just put the ziploc bags back.

    • P.L.

Just a heads up-I shop at the CVS on Harding Rd. in Nashville, they had a sign posted that they will no longer take expired ECB's and will no longer accept ANY competitor coupons (effective as of 1/1/11).

    • momto2boys

Just back from CVS, got the electrasol and the pepsi deal! Just FYI the stores in Seneca SC are nearly wiped out of electrasol, I got the last box at the one on hwy123, and they had a few at the one on Blue Ridge Blvd, none at the store in West Union near the Save-a-lot. They all had plenty of pepsi though! Got $20 in ECB's to roll on something else…may do the Scott deal later this week!

    • 1stTimeSAHM

Went to CVS bright and early this morning! Had a great trip! Got 6 (12 pks) Diet Mt Dew (they don't carry Diet Dr. Pepper), 1 box of Finish geltabs, 3 vanilla candles (Christmas was 75% off), 1 snicker bar, 1 bag of reese's minis, and a pack of picture holders for a total of $16.42 oop and got $10 ECB back!! Also, we I scanned my card, I automatically rec'vd $7ECB!

I also talked to the cashier. He said they don't have many “Couponers” come in, but he wanted me to know they start their Sunday at on Saturday at 6PM!

Awesome trip! Thanks Jenny for all you do!!

    • Mdb123xyz

      I have a question regarding returns…
I was just reading the info on the Excedrin and it says “caffeine.” My doctor had recommended that
I not have any caffeine, so I was wondering….besides
donating all the excedrin (4 boxes), would it be wrong for me to return them with the receipt and perhaps get
a store gift card or money back? I did get the $10 ECBs and wouldn't even mind giving that back. Just wondering what opinions are out there for returns that ECBs were given. Thanks for all the replies :)

      • momto2boys

If it were me I would just donate it and keep the ECB's for something else. I guess it depends on how much OOP you spent. My excedrin was a money maker for me since I had the free product Q's but if I had paid full price I would probably return it and give them the ECB's back.

      • sww

another option- see if they have the excedrin “back and body”- that just has the acetaminophen and aspirin without the caffeine. they might let you exchange. HTH!

        • Mdb123xyz

          Ohhhhh!!!
          “Back & Body” pills!!!
          YAY!!!!
          Thanks for the info :)

    • Matt

Just had a heck of a haul at CVS……..really good ad, make sure you get out there!

      • momto2boys

Me too! It really is a great ad! Anything involving a deal on pepsi and a free snickers bar is a good deal for me :)

      • Godot

Agree totally. I made a haul today. Even went back a 2nd time. Those xx/$xx come in very handy for days like this one.

    • Ivajean

This may sound like a confusing question, but say I purchase 10.00 of product A, and the store is out Product B, which I want to spend 15.00 on to get ecb's. If I get a raincheck on product B, would I still get the ecb's weeks later, since I would be splitting up the ecb deal it two transactions weeks apart?

      • Lisaclark21

Yes I have done this before. The cashier just wrote on the raincheck that I was due ecb's when i made the purchase. . .They will manually print them off for you when you use the raincheck.

      • coupon clipper

I have done this before and they did tell me to keep my receipt with the rain check. I also put a copy of the ad with my rain check. I also did this with some of the sales last week, because they were out of the items I needed to get to the 25 dollars.

      • Amy T

I've done this too. I kept the ad just in case I needed to show them what I was trying to do.

    • mightymousemom

Maalox money maker alert! This week the Maalox, Gas-X and Benefiber is buy $20.00 get $10.00 ecb…..well, there is a $5.00 off Maalox Q in this weeks paper….so buy 3 Maalox at $6.99 and use 3 x $5.00 off q's for oop of $5.97 and get back $10.00 ecbs:-)

      • mightymousemom

Also, I had a $2.00 off Maalox CVS coupon which printed at the Red Machine a week or so ago, so if you have one, it will sweeten the deal.

      • Anne

        Wow! Thanks for the info!

      • katie

even better if you have a $5/20! I paid $1.67 for 3 maalox and got $10 ECB

    • Shopgirlmgr

yes you can i did it .. i just left there my bills totaled 146.69 i had 126.69 in coupons i spent 20 bucks i got 13 1 pks of pop 2 airwick kits 4 air wick refills 2 lysol sprays 3 boxes cereal 4 cans of soup 1 bag of chips 1 box of crackers 8 loreal items 10 candy bars 2 finish 4 bics had 10 ebc left over .

    • Emmayun2

Just came from CVS and if you need contact solution they have a great deal printing at the magic machine! I got 2 15oz bottles of Aquify solution ($9.59 ea) and one twin pack of Aquify solution ($15.99). Got a B1G1 12 or 15 oz Aquify at the magic machine. Used a $2.00 off and a $5.00 off Aquify coupons. $5.00 off of $30 and then $7.00 extra care bucks. Paid $8 and got back $5 ecb.

    • Amy J.

nice little trip to CVS…..bought 2 Airwick Freshmatic Ultra starter kits, 2 Airwick compact I-motion kits, used two $4 q's for the ultra kits and two $3 q's for the compact kits, also bought the Snickers bar and the Reese's minis, used $10 ECB from last week, spent $2.10 OOP and got back $12.48 in ECB's ($10 + 89cents + $1.59). :-)

    • Lulu7498

I'm so stinking excited!! I got $218 worth of stuff today for $17.88! This is my best venture yet! I got 2 airwick starter kits, 2 refills, 5 Ajax dish soaps, 1 jet dry box, 6 12 packs of pepsi and and a few other things:) I'm a happy camper and I needed this to encourage me to keep putting in the coupon time!

      • Donna091960

I am new at this and would loved to know what you did.

    • Happy Feet

I quit trying to beat the crowd. I found out the day the truck comes during the week and then go the next morning.

      • Patscoups

My CVS will hold a product at the register for me if I call ahead and ask them. They know I will be in to get it. Once on an electric toothbrush offer, they had trouble gettingin the advertised brushes and everytime they did get some they would evaporate before I got there. Finally, I left my phone number and asked them to call me if it came in. They called me and had it waiting for me when I got there, honored a very old raincheck and an outdated coupon!

    • Yolanda

Just went to CVS in Nashville to get my 7 Finish boxes they only had 2 left cashier said he was sorry but some Southern Savers had already hit his store so come back Thursday…My little girl was with me and said “Mom Southern Savers isnt a gang is it?”

      • Godot

It is, and I have the tattoo to prove it.

      • Raynesmw

That is too funny!!! (Not that they were out, what your daughter said.) Hopefully they will get more in this week for those missing out on their deals. I wonder why CVS doesn't order more when they know a sale is coming up.

      • Tara

Make sure to get a raincheck and do it next sale when they have plenty.

      • Kriss

Hahaha! Priceless observations from a little one.

    • Monica

I'm new to all this and need help with the Pepsi deal. I got one of them, but not the other. On my receipt it there is a line that says extra buck offers. It says:

Pepsi, spend 20 get 10 EB
      Amount toward this reward 19.95
Amount needed to earn this reward 19.95

I bought 11 2L and 3 12 packs for the second deal. How did I mess up?

      • Godot

I got this same exact message on my receipt. I let the people in front of me use my card today since they couldnt find theirs — so I originally assumed it had something to do with them, but, even so, it doesnt make any sense.

        • MaryJ

Just realized that mine is the exact same. I earned the 10 ECB for the Pepsi or Lay's products, but not the one for spending 20 bucks on Pepsi 12-packs. Anyone else with this issue or have any suggestion about what to do? I think I'm going to call corporate, and I told the manager that too before I left.

          • Godot

That must be what it is — since there are two Pepsi deals this week — the computer is letting you know you can still do the other one. I guess ;-) Like you, I did one of them (tasted an Izze today for the first time evah!) but not the other.

            • MaryJ

Thanks to everyone for their replies. I feel a little bit dumb for raising such a fuss at the store. But I really thought that if they were running two separate deals then what I bought should count for both. I've had issues with that store and that particular manager before, so I honestly thought it was something they didn't quite understand, but really it was me.

          • Melissa

Same exact thing here. I talked to a manager and she said you'd have to buy $40 worth to get both deals. I feel like this was false advertising and thought about calling CVS headquarters, too. I still got a good deal on soda, but it was misleading.

            • Kimber

You have to buy each deal in a seperate transaction to get the ECB's. So buy one $20 worth and get a $10 ecb and then buy another $20 worth to get the second deal. It doesn't matter what products you buy and how much you go over $20 ONLY ONE WILL PRINT AT A TIME!

      • Nita Royal

I think some stores are having a problem with the 2 Pepsi deals. I did the 6/$20 first, got my $10 ECB's with no problem. Rang up the second deal separately with the Frappucinos, etc., and got no ECB's. However, the cashier did push it through and print them for me.

    • Donna

Yeah – had my best trip to CVS today since I started couponing back in September!! First, the red machine spit out 3 things for me – and one was $2 ECB! Woo hoo!

      I got:

2 Lysol Neutra Air Freshmatic Starter Kits – $12
2 Lysol Neutra Air Freshmatic Refills – $10
1 Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick – $4.65 (an unexpected find – 50% off sticker for discontinued colors)

original cost before CVS Sales = $46.45
total with sales before coupons = $26.65
      CVS bonus e-mailed coupon – $4
freshmatic kit printable coupon – $4
freshmatic kit printable coupon – $4
      B1G1 free freshmatic refill coupon – $5
ECB from last trip in 2010 – $5
ECB bonus from red machine – $2

GRAND TOTAL $2.65 plus tax ($1.17)
got $10 ECB back from lysol deal too

WOO HOOO!!!!!! Thanks again, Jenny for all you do! I'm starting my new year off right with my budget / savings resolution, thanks to you! :)

    • Lzbacnik

Money maker (small one but still a money maker).

I scanned my card and got a $ .50 offf any Dove single bar. So I purchased the $ .89 Dove bar and received the $ .89 ECB. I love CVS.

      • Droopyd99

I scanned my card and got the same but didn't realize it was in the ECB deal, dang! Good job

    • Toifrogs

Today was the most amazing day at CVS! I went last week and got the makeup clearance deals, enough to last me 6 months, but I still had lots of L'Oreal coupons. I thought for sure they would have sold out, but when I went in today, it looked like noone had touched any of it. So, I used the rest of my coupons for makeup to donate. I got $167 in makeup for a grand total of $3.50 before tax!!!! I only used $1.89 in ECB and still have 10 ECB for my next purchases. I stopped at another CVS later to get the Frappocino deal, and they had tons of the clearance makeup left too!

    • Sue Mckellar

Great shopping at CVS today. 4 transactions but I had $32 in ECB to start with.
Bought $158.83 worth with only $15.13 out of pocket. Had to break it down into 4 transactions but it is great!!! Car was loaded with Pepsi products and other great deals. Ended the day with $14.48 ECBs for next week. We love CVS!!!

    • Droopyd99

Just got back from CVS had a great day of savings…

      First Transaction:
      6 12 packs of Pepsi
-4 off 20 CVS email coupon
      total due: $16.32

      Transaction 2:
      6 12 packs of Pepsi
      1 Listerine 1.5L
      -$1 Listerine Coupon
      -3 CVS birthday coupon
      -10ECB from Transaction 1
      Total due: 10.18
      +10 ECB Left

      Total OOP: $26.54
      Total Savings :$47.53
      % savings: 63%

    • Jen B.

Last week I got a CVS coupon from the machine that is BOGO 12 or 15 oz Aquify solution. Does anyone know if I can use 2 of the $5 mfr. coupons with this?

      • wendyc33

yes u should, the machine coupon is a cvs coupon, and can be combined with manf. coupons. if its bogo, then u can use two manf. coupons, plus the cvs coupon.

      • Bamacat

I got that coupon and used 2 mfr coupons with no problems!

        • Jen B.

I just realized that the CVS Q is just for one bottle, and the $5 mfr Q is for the twin pack. Did you get 2 bottles or 2 twin packs? I would love if this worked with the twin pack deal, because then I could basically get 4 bottles for free!

    • Saviorbucks

I bought (3) 12pks of Pepsi (3) 12 pks Moutain Dew and (4) Starbucks frappucino 4-packs. I used a $5 off $30 CVS coupon and (4) $1.00 Frappucino coupons, I used 10 ECBs and my OOP was 20.96 and I got back 20 ECBs. The ECBs didn't print for the Frappucinos so they did it manually, heads up!

      • wendyc33

sorry but what do u mean they didnt print for you? the frappucinos were part of the pepsi deal. so u got 20 ecbs back for your stuff. which is right.

        • Jbush27

Yes, I agree. I don't think we are understanding you fully.

        • MaryJ

I think she means she got the 20 ECBs after they manually printed them for her. Not that she got 20 ECBs and then had the manager print even more. Not sure, but that's how I read it.

      • Saviorbucks

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. 10 printed for one deal and other 10 did not. so before I left, she made it right.

    • Jpatton

      Super frustrating trip to CVS…
Purchased both candy items to get the RR to use on the second purchase of the pepsi items. When I attempted to use the RR plus all 4 coupons for them I was told now that my total was under $20 I would not get my $10 gift card as stated in the paper. I returned everything and walked. Plus they didn't have any of the Scott paper items because it wasn't shipped to them yet. I will not return to the P-tree Indust. location in Suwanee, GA.
I love Rite Aid and I guess this is why!! :))

      • Raynesmw

It shouldn't have been a gift card. It would have been a ECB that would have automatically printed with with the Pepsi's. It is $20 before any coupons are applied that spits out the ECB. The staff at the store should have known this. Sorry that happened to you.

      • Stamping_girl

did they scan your cvs card? the $10 ecb should have printed at the bottom.

      • Moe

My ecb's didn't print on my pepsi items either so they printed it manually for me~the 2 cashiers @ my store today said they had been having that problems w/ecb's printing for items all day.

    • Lauriej70

The stores are always out of the items I want when I get there. What day or time do you all shop? Not sure I will keep up the couponing if It is costing me more in gas to keep checking the stores.

      • Guest

        Always get

      • Jbush27

It can be frustrating. Ask your store when they start the sale. My store starts it at 8 am on Saturday. Make sure to get rain checks when they are out of stuff.

      • Racheljones

the reason the stores are out when you get there is because we are not told that the extreme couponers are going to get 5 boxes of izze drinks and 4 boxes of finish detergent etc, so when we order place the order for these products, we try to accomodate all but unfotunately we cannot. I know at my store, I had 8 boxes of finish which was only enough to make 2 people happy.

        • jennifer

Type your comment here. When ordering though does the store not take into consideration the increased demand a sale will certainly create?

          • Rachel

I do take this into account when I place the order. We are not told in advance how many boxes of each product it will take in order to reach the ecb. I use all the sites available on the internet when I place my order so I can take into account the couponers. I want to have the enough of the product on my shelf but unfortunately it is a guessing game on what we will sell the most of and how much of it is needed. : ) I enjoy the couponers that visit my store weekly and just an FYI, I do not allow abuse of the system.

      • Beth

I don't have this probelm often but I have learned to get a raincheck. then I can usually still shop for what I want before the coupons expire.

      • carrie

Another thing you could try is to shop later in the week when they have had a truck come in and hopefully restocked the shelves. And like the others below said, by all means, get rainchecks. You will still get sale prices and the applicable ECBs with rainchecks.

      • Hiddentreasures77

I agree, I just came from two CVS in Greenville S.C. and there were no sale items except Scott's paper towel. Although, they said it was a regional thing that no one had these items in stock. It's a waste of coupon rewards for me cause it expired tonight. So I lost out on $8 towards deals!! Bummer!

    • I just figured it out and I bought ( before sales and coupons) $191.18 in items and spent $18.14 out of pocket today , lol, just send me to rehab now, haha, I have $11.89 in ECBs still

      • Happy Feet

I would love to see how youdid this…. print out what you bought for $191.18 and how you did your coupons. I am still learning and would love to experience this. Thanks in advance.

    • Caity

Praise God for coupons! My cart was overflowing with stuff we use on a regular basis for less than 20 bucks!

    • Krmilwood

      2 transactions at CVS today
6 packs of Pepsi, one -3 on a 10 purchase coupon, and $1 buck back
then 1 box of 70 Huggies diapers with a -3 coupon, -1 huggies coupon, and $10 bucks back
      total spent $24
a box of Huggies that size usually runs about $30 by itself.

    • Couponcrazee

maalox is also a good deal, spend $20 get $10 ecb, and there are $5 coupons in 1-2 SS

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

This needs to be added. A lady brought this deal to me and I was super confused. It is a larger money maker than the Finish and Airwick. I think you need 3 Maalox and a filler, but they are around $6.49 if I remember correctly…

    • On your My Scenario Transaction 3 you have 5 Izze Drinks at $2.99 only comes to $14.95 in order to get the $20 ECB you need to spend $20 ? What am I missing here?

      • Jenn

In Scenario 1 and 2, she bought a Izze 4 pack, making it 7 Izze 4-packs total at $2.99, coming to $20.93. At CVS, you do not have to do fulfill the requirements for ECB's in one transaction- you can spread them out over multiple transactions. Just check the bottom of each receipt to make sure that the computer system is adding it up. I once had it not do that and so my ECB's didn't print, but when I caught it and showed the cashier, they printed them manually for me.

        • 21 YrOldCouponer

Also, just to add this deal actually only requires you to spend $19.95. (I really admire Pepsi for the .05, it can make a real difference.) So, if you have a scenario where you are “almost” there, you may be there, just a thought.

FYI on your receipt it shows how much you have to spend to get the next one, so after 6/$20 it shows you need $19.90 to get another $10 ECB. Jenny has noted that it is 2 separate deals, but as far as I can tell it is all bundled into 1 deal that allows 2 offers totaling 39.90. (That is where the receipt shows “Offer Limit Reached”.)

Pepsi and a few others are notorious for changing the offer limits without warnings, so after you checkout you should always look and make sure you can't repeat.

        • Thanks I get it now!

    • Jenn

spent 38 cents out of pocket, saved $51, and left with $12.59 in ECB's for next week. I LOVE CVS!

    • Tracy

I have been considering NOT shopping at my local CVS anymore for a while now due to the rude employees and manager there. They treat you like a convict just because you have coupons. It is really sad that I left that store in tears tonight because the manager yelled at me in front of store full of people because I questioned why my extra care bucks did not print. I have never in my life been so embarrassed. I walked out of that store with NO extra care bucks and having spent 18 dollars. I am done with CVS! I will be filing a complaint tomorrow and looking for a new drugstore!!

      • Madbeachin1

I am so sorry to hear that! Yes, please do contact corporate about that. CVS should be a great place to experience great deals!

        • Kristy

Wow!!! I am shocked! I had a similar experience at kroger not long ago. The cashier literally rolled her eyes when I handed her my coupons. Then made a huff noise. I told her those lil aggravations to her were saving me over $50 & I was sure that they would be happy to take them @ Publix where I would be shopping from now on! I would definitely call corporate…good luck!

Jessy, you are a grown adult, why allow someone to run over you like this. I would never allow someone to yell at me or disrespect me in that way let alone bring me to tears. You need to put your tough skin on. I don't mean to be harsh but don't let people run over you.

        • kidsallgone

          Tracey, not Jessy :)

    • Caroline

      Paid: $.32
      Total OOP: $3.91; total saved: $75.74 97%!!!

    • Christina

Great day at CVS. I bought the Lysol Air freshener, 4 of the Finish, and one Air Wick. My total was $0.04 plus I have $10 in ECBs left for next week! Definitely the best I've done yet! Thanks, Jenny. :)

      • Emornout

how is the tax so low. I always end up paying at least a dollar oop because the ecb do not cover tax. I'm confused!

        • Reginamarie

My transactions don’t usually get close enough to do this! But I have read on lots of other sites that if you give your ECB first and then coupons last the coupons will cover the tax that ECB won’t. Just make sure you have really planned it out. I don’t have to time to plan that closely and I usually have my kids with me so I am a little distracted! However, when I only have a few items, ECB & Q I have been quite successful getting the manufacturer coupons to eat my NC state tax.

So here is the best order if you are doing lots of small transactions-
Items, CVS Card, CVS money off Q, ECB, CVS Q, and finally manufacturer coupons. Just be prepared to add a pack of gum or $.33 caramel if you are still in the negative after everything b/c they can’t give cash back.

    • Jessy

Well it has happened to me once again…..except this time I tried to “one-up” her….
I have started to become very familiar with my local CVS employees over the past few months. They told me that the manager had changed the time to start the next weeks add on Sat. @ 3pm. So I meticulously plan out my trip have my hubby stay at home with my 3 kidos and off I go to CVS. My plan was to get there by 2:30 so that I could get everything I needed into my cart and checked out by 3pm.
As soon as I arrive I see “her” the woman I have been running behind the last few weeks as she completely wipes off the shelves at both Walgreens and CVS of any and all great deals. She has her 3 children with her and 2 carts full !!!!! I could not get any Air Wick, Finish, or Mt. Dew b/c she had taken them all. I was trying to hide behind the isles and not watch but in my disgust I did…..she had 22 different CVS cards (I thought that was wrong, but whatever) and took about 45 minutes to check out. Mean time, her children and running around like crazy.
Seriously people, why do you need so much stuff! I mean what are you going to do with all that stuff…..why not leave some for other people and use that as your excuse of “donating” it to needy people. We are all needy in these days and times!

      • Nita Royal

That really is despicable. I am wondering why the store allows her to use so many cards!!

        • Jessy

Yes, me too! I'm thinking that she is either related to one of the employees or good friends with some one. b/c I forgot to mention that someone rolled out about 5-6 boxes of the Wisk detergent…..made me so upset!

          • Kristy

OH I HATE THAT! I just don't get why people do that.

            • Mdavis1205

soething meeds to be done about that. We are allowed 1 card. So much for following the rules. I have 2 cards in my possesion at all times but I don't use them both. My nanna is 92 ant the store manager knows us. When I shop I usually have her with me, but if the wweather is bad out, or its one of those days where she is really not feeling well, I will shop for both of us. The same thing as HT. They allow me to bring in her card and ID on senior citizen day and get “the items that she needs” if she can not go to the store with me. I never abuse the system by getting my items with her card. That person should be ASHAMED of herself!!!

            • Mdavis1205

excuse the typos above, not feeling too well myself. I have my nana here because a snow storm is expected in Charlotte and I did not want her to be alone. She is actually sitting with me trying to use the compoter. SO CUTE…

      • Happy Feet

I Blame the stores for allowing this…. they know 22 cards are too many for one person…. I have learned to go on the day after the truck runs during the week. It is much calmer and all shelves are stocked…

      • Sandy

If I was you I'd speak to the manager about what's going on. If he/she doesn't offer any solutions you should call the district manager. What she is doing is wrong and against corporate policy. And who has the time to keep track of 22 cards???? Sheesh!

      • senoiamom

There is a lady like that at my local CVS too. she “only” has about 15 cards, and hogs the “red Machine” and will not let anyone use it until she scans ALL of them AT LEAST once, and gets the coupons she wants.I was in the store for 30 minutes once, and she was STILL on the machince when I left. You should only be able to use ONE card per trip. (unless its a special case like mdavis1205 has. I help my Dad a lot, too.)
I agree donating is a great thing in moderation, but one should also remember couponing etiquitte. Some of their fellow couponers, are not as fortunate, and coupon to survive, and NEED to get that one item, or their family may go without just because tere is no money in the budget.

    • Nita Royal

I have a question about the Scott deal….Since it is a limit of 2, could I buy $50 in one transaction and get the 20 ECB's? Or must I do 2 separate transactions? I'd much prefer to get just the toilet paper, and not use the smaller items to hit the $25 total. Thanks!

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

Yes, but since the ExtraCare card tracks purchases, you would be better off buying 3, looking at receipt, and seeing that is says you can still do it again,

        Purchased: $30.00
Amount needed to next Reward: $20.00

Something to that effect should be showing, and then applying the $10ECB to the other 2. Limiting ECB's for future weeks and pain if something goes wrong.

        • 21 YrOldCouponer

Whoah, bad steer! (Finally found my receipts.) Looking at my recpit, I'm showing:

“Amount Toward This Reward: 26, Needed to Earn Reward: 25”

Thus, I'm unsure of your original question, but sure my solution will not work. Sorry and post your results if you attempt!

          • Nita Royal

Looks like I might not get to find out, as both stores I tried this evening were sold out! One cashier told me that a couple came in and loaded up 4 carts higher than their heads…..grrrrr!

    • Dawn

My CVS was out of Diet Pepsi, LOL The girl said the Pepsi guy had forgoten her order two weeks in a ROW! She said they were either doing rainchecks, or I could buy 12 packs of anything I wanted! So I got Diet Dr Depper, Diet Coke and diet A&W Root beer. Same thing with the 2 liters, said to get whatever I wanted. I love my CVS! They also had more Finish in the back, so I picked up my three boxes and 4 of the airwicks too (The refills) Plus I did the toilet paper deal, cereal, candy and then I bought Lays, Doritos and Izze (plus 4 2liters) for the other pepsi deal.

I did mine all in one transaction though (Wow, was my cart FULL!) so I had about 66 out of pocket, then I got $46 in ECB back, so a full cart for about 20 bucks!

    • Happy Feet

I am so confused. Will someone explain this Pepsi sale? It says in my paper I can only do it one time. So how are you doing this twice?

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

Next page, it has a different code. Either way you want to do separate transactions to limit ECB's you hold onto. Just after you do the 1st one look on your receipt, it should show something to the effect of:

        Purchased: 20.05
        Needed to Earn Reward: 19.90

This means you can do it again.

        • 21 YrOldCouponer

Not sure how that applies when you are doing a non-6/20 deal, haven't seen someone try to do back-to-back deals like that, but should work the same…

        • Happy Feet

Thanks for everyones help… I didn't understand what the needed to earn Reward 19.90 meant.

      • momto2boys

Buy 6 in first transaction total will be $20 get back $10, buy 6 more in second transaction use $10 ecb's total $10 and get back $10. They are separate deals, the second is for pepsi products which includes several different products like starbucks frappucino and potato chips but you can do all pepsi's again.

Last year they did the same deal the next week and you could do it all over again! I hope they do it again this year, my DH takes drinks to work and this would be great for him!

    • onestepbehind

CVS only carries about 6 Finish on their shelves at a time. How in the world is more than one person per store able to do these deals?

      • sunny

agreed and we only have one CVS so the shelf was bear

        • Kristy

TRUE….but I have found if you ask..they usually have more in the back.

        • MBGirl

I went to my CVS at 6pm on the Saturday before the sale even started and they were already out of the Finish! I didn't realize they will do the rainchecks! I will have to go back and ask! Thanks!!

      • Kbierman63

Request a raincheck. My store always issues them for Extra Buck items.

      • Kris

CVS issues rainchecks and they do not expire. I will wait sometimes more than a week before I get to use the raincheck. The ECB's don't expire either. You will get your ECB's when you use your raincheck. I've stopped trying to work multiple deals b/c of the out of stock scenarios. But it doesn't keep me from saving a TON at CVS.

    • Mandie33n

Clean and Clear is buy one get one 50% off. There is $2/1 coupon on the clean and clear website plus a $1/1 in SS. Also neosporin and bandaid brands are buy one get one 50% off and there is a coupon for $1.50 off purchase of any one neosporin and one band-aid purchase.

      • ehmr

Rite Aid has this same deal but B1G1

    • 333save

Loreal- bought $12 worth of the clearance makeup, used 2- $5 off coupons and paid about $3 oop. My ECB did not print, but the manager printed it out for me b/c the ad says spend $10 on ANY loreal and get 3 ECB. just an fyi

      • Ursweet7

where did you get the 5 dollar off coupons from?

        • B Brown04

There is one in the 11/14 Redplum.

      • Jhawk_3416

I bought Loreal on clearance also, but I could not find decent coupons. Where did you get the $5 coupons? Please tell.

      • Dianne

My CVS told me last night they don't take coupons on clearance items. They were going to be nice and take $1 off Kashi cereal clearanced to $1.25 but they wouldn't take the coupon for the free Slim-Fast bars when you buy two shakes since the bars were more expensive than what I paid for the two shakes on clearance. Anyone know if there's an official policy on this?

        • Jen

Never heard of that one. I think some CVS managers are just getting mean lately. I had a really bad experience last week. Thank goodness it was at a CVS not near my house (I was visiting relatives) or I would be swearing them off. He was THAT rude. The one near my house is VERY nice and no one has said anything like that.

          • Dianne

Actually the manager was pretty nice about things. For some reason my second buy $20 get $10 on the Pepsi + other products didn't print. The manager overheard my conversation with the clerk and without even verifying the amount I spent told him to give it to me. She also had him print the ECB for Loreal since I bought a $9.99 item and it was supposed to be $10. So I really can't complain. I have had much worse experiences there…..one manager treats me as if I'm trying to do something illegal by using a coupon!

        • Reginamarie

I have had that problem a few times. My favorite CVS marks through the bar code on the box and the cashier usually enters the price manually so what happens it the computer doesn't automatically recognize the coupon being for an item that was purchased so it rejects it. What needs to happens is the cashier/manager need to compare the coupon & the item and manually enter the coupon amount. Now this takes time so many stores just give lame excuses about not taking coupons on clearance items. I called corporate once and they said they did, but I haven't found it in writing.

          • Dianne

They acted like they were the ones losing money if they took my coupon on the clearance items so I mentioned that the manufacturer will pay them for the coupon. They said they wouldn't get paid because the item won't show because of the way it rang in. (Like you said for the coupons not being recognized.) I'd never heard anything like that before….the manufacturer checks their sales? Oh well. I was happy with what I got and did really well otherwise, just a little disappointed because I wanted something free too.

    • baglady

Yea! I actually made it work this time! Usually, when I get to CVS or Wags, the shelves are clean. I've pretty much given up on Wags w/ all of its rules in addition to people clearing the shelves….too frustrating….and I'm talking on Sunday, when the sale starts. For me, CVS is much more coupon friendly. The employees at the stores I frequent have been very accommodating. So, I actually did what I planned this time, yippee. I purchased the 4 Finish (I didn't clear the shelf) ;-) and 2 Lysol sprays which worked better for me than the scenario. I didn't make a profit, but it was free!! Thanks, Jenny for challenging me to get the online CVS $25 gift card during the holidays and see how long I can make it last. After a few trips since printing the gift card, I still have $21.70 left. ;-) Maybe I can even get it to exceed the $25….ya think? We'll see, I'm going to try.

    • Amanda

Hello everyone! I will make my first attempt ever at going to CVS to coupon and purchase a deal. What I want to know is are the ECB only used to purchase prescriptions or can you use it on anything? I would think the latter but I just want to make sure. TIA

      • A_shrader

ECB should work on anything (except probably prescriptions, alcohol, and tobacco) complete guessing on that. But you can use them on Over the Counter medicines, toilet paper, diapers, make up, electronics….you name it!

        • Amanda

Thank you! I have one more question: I've seen reference made to red box. Is that a machine at the store or is it something that I have to print from their website?

          • Mdavis1205

it is located in the store. Scan your card and it prints coupons. The coupons differ on a daily basis. Happy shopping.

            • Ivajean

I went to my cvs last week, and every swipe at the red box gave me the same coupns (on candy and cold meds). I wondered if they gave anything else that week, or if it the same coupon all week.

          • kidsallgone

Make sure to scan your card at the “red machine” first :)
Also, buy a “green tag” for $1 (usually found near the front register).
Have the cashier scan it during your purchase.
Will only scan once a day to count towards 4 scans = $1 ECB back at the end of your receipt. Geez! I explained that TERRIBLY! LOL! Anyone else?
**Also, ECBs cannot be used to buy gift cards. I think. Happy shopping :)

    • Lorri

Can someone help with this scenario please? Here's what I want to do:

      Buy:
      (4) Air Wick Freshmatic Refills $6

      Use:
      (2) B1G1 Air Wick Freshmatic refill, SS1/02

      Total due: $12
      Should get back: $10 ECB

I'd like to know if this is good enough to get the $10 ECB since techinically, I'm not buying 2 of the items.

      Thanks!

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

Yes. That is allowed. Also, if you have any $/1 or $/2 for the Refill packs you can use them. (1 of the $/2 and 2 of the $/1.) Rationale is you are buying one, using coupon on it and getting the next one free with coupon. Most stores will let you do this.

        • Lorri

Thank you both so much. I do have the $/1 and $/2. I've been snowed in for the past 2 days but I can't wait to get back to the store and get that deal!

      • joanna00

The refills are actually only $5 each. So you'll pay $10 for all 4 after using both coupons – an even better deal! The totals at CVS are always before coupons. hth

    • Mcleodsc

I went yesterday to get started on this weeks deals. The store was swamped-no shopping carts available. So I did not get the bottled water. Now we have snow and ice and I cannot drive in it to go get the bottled water. Anyone else got snow and ice this morning?

      • Courtney

up to 5 inchs right now here, and still snowing

        • Annie

We have alot of ice on the bridges etc. and over passes in Charleston, S.C.

          • kidsallgone

            Hey Annie!
            I'm in Charleston too!
            Actually in Ravenel.
Windshields on cars are iced/frozen and it's been raining all morning into the afternoon. Should warm up to 35 tonight. LOL!
Thinking of running to CVS for the pepsi deal.
Can someone explain the “buy (6) 12-pks, get $10 ECB, and then another transaction buy a 2L pepsi and get another $10ECB”???????????????
            Really????? Thanks for the replies……

      • Happy Feet

12 inches in Clayton Ga. and still snowing.
Just realize no one else is out either. :o)

      • about 6 in Simpsonville SC

      • free2beme

We were supposed to get hit pretty hard here in Richmond,VA,but we lucked out..some ice, little snow, but not near what they had anticipated

    • Jane

So, just to clarify, I already bought 6 12-packs of Pepsi and got my $10. Are you saying that I'll get another $10 if I go back and do the same transaction again (6 12-packs of Pepsi)?

      • Kimber

        Yes

      • yes, Or $20 of any other pepsi product

        • Syndilew

Actually you will get it if you just purchase a 2 LTR of pepsi in the next transaction after the first 6 12 packs of pepsis. On your receipt for the first transaction, it lets you know that you are only .5 away from the next ECB. This worked for me, hope that it helps for you.

          • Courtney

that did not work for me, im thinking of calling corpurt and fussing about the way they worded it

            • runmommyrun

I purchased the 6 12-packs and it says I earned 19.95 ECB and am 19.95 away from another ECB. I would therefore not be able to just buy a 2-liter to get the a second $10 ECB would I?

          • herene

Yes, that is what my receipt says too! Wish I had seen it before, now I have to make another trip to town this week but it will be well worth it!

    • Happy Feet

Ok couponers… Lets make a New Years Resoultion. If you have unnecessary number of CVS cards …. PLEASE…. Commit to cutting up some of your cards. We also need to commit to being better Couponers so the store clerks smile when they see us coming instead of fussing over who has to take the deal at the register. For the most part we are great shoppers… Lets have a fun year saving and setting a wonderful example.

      • Happy Feet

        tag here if you will

        • Mel

That would be so great. It is sad to say that when I see 1 customer come in with multiple cards marked by number so they can keep them with the correct ECBs, I get a little frustrated. Not because they are abusing the system-which some are-but because it wipes the shelves so that other customers who are coming in with their 1 card for a great deal can't find it in stock.

      • joyfullysaving

multiple cards???? come on that is just down right hording people. One card per household I would think would be a rule. Commit to cutting up all of your cards except one so some of us can actually make a successful shopping trip for once. Thanks

    • Happy Feet

Can anyone advise me where I can get coupons besides the newspaper? Our area is iffy on putting them in the Newspaper.

      • guest

Ebay has tons of coupon flyers for sale. I’ve also heard of couponclippers.com but haven’t checked them out.

    • Sing4Him

Is the Scott Bath Tissue on sale just Extra Soft or the regular Scott Tissue as well

      • Couponerfan

Seemed to be just the extra soft, but it says on pkg “septic safe” so i thought we would try it.

      • Qtwithlocs

It's just the extra soft 24 pack tissue..however Walgreens has the 12 pk scott 1000 sheet tissue for $6.99 this week..and I used the $1 off printable coupon to make it $5.99..great deal for scott!! It's my favorite!!

    • Happy Feet

Does anyone use the $10 off $50 store coupon…. I seem to spend more money and get less deals. I have looked and havent noticed anyone who uses them. I get about one a week. But, I never come out on top like you seem too doing smaller senerios. I would love your advice here. Thanks.

      • gardengirl

I used mine this weekend….the store supply was so low I couldn’t make any deals, so I just bought what I could find in one transaction so I used the q. Yes, I had alot OOP but when I go back tomorrow (restock day), I will get all my ECB’s.

      • Natalie559

My publix accepts these as competitor coupons- I would be thrilled to have one to be able to use it there

    • It's been awhile since I made it to CVS but I couldn't resist going for some of those Izze drinks. I still had a raincheck for the Oral B Vitality toothbrush & I received a CVS coupon in the mail for a free Schick Hydro razor, but I still felt like I spent a lot more OOP than I would've liked. My main frustration was having to go to 3 different stores before I found the Gas X prevention in stock. (Luckily they were all close by.) I must say, though, it was nice to return to the super-friendliness of the CVS cashiers & managers!

When all was said and done, I spent $20 and saved $85. (Click the link on my name for picture & detailed transaction info)

    • Jen_poppet

FYI : $5 ECB WYB Gillette Venus 1ct Razor or 4-8 ct Cartridges Limit 1 appears to actual be $5 ECB WYB Gillette Venus 1ct Razor AND 4-8 ct Cartridges Limit 1 – I tried to buy just cartridges yesterday and looked at the ad again and it says “and” It's not clear :(

    • DawnFL

Wags monthly coupon book has coupon for pepsi $3 off purchase of 4 -12packs, if your cvs takes wags coupons – makes deal 6 for $7 really great deal!

      • ElizabethSWynn

How do you get the Wags monthly coupon book?

        • guest

I've always found them in a little rack near the check out counter or to the side when you walk in the front door. They look like boring little catalogs! Nice trick.

    • Madarm6

My CVS here in Indianapolis (only one of MANY) did not accept any of the Finish internet coupons. The manager said they're had a huge problem with fraudulent coupons printed online, so they're not taking them any longer. Ergo, I was unable to do the Finish deal, which was a major bummer. Anybody else having a problem using these coupons?

      • Oxoheavensqtoxo

my cvs also told me they didn't accept printable coupons because of the same problem. My coupons where for another product but i didn't question it as i am still a new to couponing. :/

    • tpomerhn

Does anyone have a Clear Care contact solution coupon they would like to send me? I would be willing to trade! My circular did not have the coupon and its my favorite contact solution. Thanks!

      • Amanda

I have an extra I can send you.

        • tpomerhn

Thanks! I would prefer to not put my address on here, could I email it to you? If so, what is your email?

      • Nichols_again

I have one I can send as well…

    • wannacouponsuccessfully

Here I go again about regional coupons (sorry everyone). The Greenville (SC) News once again didn't have coupos I wanted. Specifically -2.25 off Finish 20+ ct SS 1/02. Can anyone telll me what newspapers did carry those coupons? Jenn, do I remember that you lie in the Columbia, SC area? i have friends who live down there and didn't get the coupons there either. Were you able to get these “Finish” coupons mentioned above. If so, would u pls tell me in what newspaper you were able to find them. Thanks! :)

      • Tara

We got them in the Columbia, SC area. Sorry you did not. Why don't you go on ebay and order some. I saw a bunch on there the other day.

        • sc couponer

Charleston Post & Courier had them, too. Couponhunter is a great clipping service, too.

          • Mcleodsc

The State had them The Item-Sumter,SC did not have them. For some reason the Item never has all of the coupons.

      • senoia guest

the Atlanta Journal-Constitution had them. HTH:)

      • Lisa

Do you buy your papers at a news stand or have them delivered? I know this makes a difference with what qs you get. I get it delivered and my paper had the finish qs. (the Greenville News) Maybe try to find a deal to get it delivered to you.

      • Webby

Sometimes, if your paper has more than one Sunday edition, the early edition that is released on Saturday will have more coupons than the late edition on Sunday morning. So, go grab your paper on Saturdays and see if that makes a difference.

      • breese

The $2.25 finish coupon was in the Columbia, SC area paper on 1/2.

        • Samatia86

Glad to hear that (somewhat) b/c I was thinking i was overlooking my finish coupons and went throu them 5 times….. anyone know where else to get them?

      • sahmof3innursingschool

I got the Finish coupons out of the Greenville news. I do not live in the Greenville area, but I always buy that paper because it always has more coupons than my local paper. I also purchassed some from a coupon clipping service.

        • wannacouponsuccessfully

I get the greenville news too. I live in fountain Inn, so maybe I don't get the same coupons as someone further up in g'ville county. Thanks for ur input :)

      • I got the coupon from the Greenville News bought in the Clinton area. Weren’t there 2 Smartsource inserts that week? Maybe your paper was missing a whole insert. There are many places in Greenville that sell the Charlotte Observer, including Publix and Bi-Lo. I also get it every week and it usually has almost all of the coupons. I recommend you visit this site to see if there is a location near you.http://www.charlotteobserver.com/single_copy_sales /?appSession=668276365124994

      • I also had it in my Grenville News bought in the Clinton area. Did you have both of the SmartSource inserts that week? There are several places in Greenville, including Publix and Bi-Lo, that sell the Charlotte Observer, which usually has almost all of the coupons. Find a location near you by going to their website here.
charlotteobserver (DOT) com/ single_ copy_ sales.

This is the second time I’ve tried to post this. Hopefully, it will post this time. Type the address into your browser, leaving out the spaces and replacing “(DOT)” with “.” Make certain you include the “_”

      Hey Everyone!!

This was my first successful CVS experience. I tried it before and was unsuccessful because I didn't do my homework. This time however I did. I bought about $68 dollars worth of products and only paid $10. Here is how…..
I had $27 worth of money cards from CVS from a past bad experience…..the cashier messed up my transactions and I ended up paying a lot more than I had anticipated. They don't give you your coupons back if you do a return they give you money cards….didn't know that.
      1st Transaction:
      (6) 12 pack of pepsi products
      Snickers bar (free)
      Reeses cup (free)
      Eclipse mints B1G1 free
      Subtotal : $24.47
      Used $27.00 money card
Got back $12.48 in extra bucks
      Paid nothing!!!

      Transaction #2
      Airwick kit (used $4 coupon)
      Lysol kit (used $4 coupon)
      (2) Finish dishwasher detergent
      Lysol neutra air
      Tampax Pearl Tampons
      Used coupons for everything.
Used extra bucks from previous purchase $12.48
      Subtotal: 4.63 with coupons
Used balance on money card $1.86
      Total due: 2:77
      Got back $10 extra bucks!!

      Third Transaction:
      (2) Clarol hair color
      used $2.00 coupons for both
      Total: $8.94
      Received $3 extra bucks….

Next week I will start out with $13.00 in extra bucks!! This was a good week!! Whoo hooo

    • Lea

I'm new to this stuff. I don't understand what you are talking about when you say you can repeat the same deal again. I bought 20 pepsi 2L and got my $10 EBC. I looked at the bottom of my receipt it says: Amount toward this reward 19.95 and Amount needed to earn this reward 19.95. Does that mean I can buy 20 more and get another $10 EBC? Thanks for your help :)

      • Rhonda

Yes, that means you can do the deal again.

    • Happy Feet

Thankfully my store accepts the computer printed coupons. I only use the ones that prints, each number is different.

    • Padenash

How does this whole thing work with the ECB card??

      • Sangurkie

Check the “CVS Getting Started Guide” section. There is a link in the upper right section of this page. It will explain CVSing. HTH

    • Jennifer

so I am snowed in and trying to plan my trip. I really need prices on some of these items so if anyone can help!
      Benefiber
      Previcid
      Rapid Lash
      Crest White strips
Big Thanks to anyone who can help! Usually it's no big deal for me to go to a coupe stores, but with this weather I am going to have a very small window to get out and shop.

      • Nita Royal

The smallest Benefiber was $6.29 at my store today. I did that deal because the CVS machine gave me $3 off and I had a $2 coupon from the paper.

      • SavNKY

        The Previcid was 12.49

    • jw

can anyone help? I don't seem to have any of the ziploc coupons and was trying to get the printable one, but it doesn't seem to be under any of the zip codes I try. Ahs anyone else had any luck getting it? Thanks

    • Meldgrek

I must first say Thank you for this website!! I am VERY new to this experience and you have been most helpful!! I went to CVS today and got $90.49 worth of stuff for only $28.40 but have $10 ECB left!! I don't know if I understand everything correctly and got a little mixed up in the store when the transaction list I had worked on didn't pan out because they were out of a few things. Luckily the lady in my store was really sweet and helped me figure it out!

    • Newly Qing

I went on my 1st CVS couponing venture today. They were sold out of most of the things I wanted. They said to come back Wednesday, and they might have more, so I didn't ask for a raincheck – but will on Wednesday. I think I did pretty decently. My totals added up to $60.08, and I paid $20.21 OOP. That included a $1 Gatorade that my husband had to have, 2 9V batteries he said we just HAD to buy (4.49), AND a Snoopy ornament (.99) that he needed (I get out cheaper when I take a kid or 3! Sheesh!). So if you deduct those items, I really would have spent about $14 for $60 worth of stuff. The cashier was EXTREMELY friendly & patient & helpful. I needed one filler item, and she helped me with that, so I had one transaction totalling 0.09 cents! They are SO much nicer and better to deal with than Walgreens or Kroger!! Wow.

      • Dianne L

Great trip! Yeah, husbands can mess with your savings, but, oh, well! I agree that CVS is much nicer to deal with than Walgreens or Kroger!

    • Olemissmoss

I often see many of you posting that your scenarios did not work out becuase your store was not well stocked on an item. Unless they are completely out, here is what I do. For example, I had the Gas-X Prevention deal right in the middle of my other transactions. I needed 4 and they only had 2. Instead of messing up that transaction as well as the others that relied on the ECB's from it, I just paid for 4, used my coupons accordingly, got my ECB's accordingly, and then asked them to write me a rain check saying that I had already paid for the items and that I would be back to get them later in the week. I do this all the time. It is so much easier!!!!! My store prefers it over writing a raincheck for something with ECB's attached. I get my ECB's right then, no waiting.

      • baglady

Thank you for posting that. What a logical approach…not to mention good advice! ;-)

        • Elizabethdiann

          That is a great idea!!!

    • Reneeonc

I LOVE my CVS> My manager let me substitute 2 12 pks of quilted Northern t.p. the Scott Extra Soft, as hardly any store in our area got the “sale” item in.. So, I got 1 pk. Scott paper towels, 2 12 pks quilted northern, 2 Large Aussie shampoos, 3 Garnier Fructise shampoos, 3 Aveeno hair styler products, 2 packs of gum and my OOP was only 15.41! With $10 ECB back….I had $5 ECB, 3 $1.50/1 Aveeno hair care coupon, 3 $1.00 off Garnier Fructise coupon, 1 B1G1 Aussie shampoo coupon…then somehow the cashier took off another 13.98 because all the hair care items were on major clearance but hadn't been adjusted in the computer yet…Yay for me!

    • Qtwithlocs

Today I went out on my first coupon outing and was able to snatch up some great deals..CVS- purchased 3/$10 pepsi 12 packs, 2/$5 Lays/Doritos products, 1-4pk Starbucks Frap (used $1 off coupon making it $3.99) and 1-2ltr Pepsi. I paid $21 but earned $10 extra care bucks. I then went across the street to Walgreens and purchase 2 packages of Stayfree pads (used $3 off each pk instore coupon plus BOGO coupon from Sunday's paper, 3 – Renuzits adjustable air fresheners (store sale price $.99 each plus coupon for buy 3 get 3 that was in Sunday's paper free) and 4 cans of Butterball Chicken Broth (2/$1)..total paid $16.01. However, I noticed afterwards that CVS had the Renuzit air fresheners for $.88 each so I could have saved an additional $.30 but how could I complain after spending a total of $27 for everything!! The best part was I took my husband along to witness the savings and the look on his face was priceless!! :)

      • Qtwithlocs

Forgot to add that I also purchased the 12 pk scott 1000 sheet per roll toliet tissue that was on sale for $6.99 and used $1 off printable coupon from Walgreens also

    • runmommyrun

I bought the 6 12 packs of Pepsi and got my $10 ECB. Some are reporting that I only need to buy another 2-liter to reach $20 (since the 6 12-pack deal was actually just shy of $20). However, at the bottom of my receipt, it says I earned $19.95 ECB and have 19.95 til my next ECB so this wouldn't work would it?

      • momto2boys

No you would need to buy 6 more 12-packs or a combination of products mentioned in the deal to get the next reward.

    • guest

Does anyone know if Dr. Pepper is included in the Pepsi deal?

      • Leyly

        Yes it is.

    • JenniB

I visited my CVS on Sunday and was told my the general manager that they will no longer accept Smartsource.com printed coupons. She said they are not legit and they are not getting paid for them. She apologized to me since I had a bunch of the Starbucks ones. I understand why they will not accept them, but I thought SmartSource was a legit website to print from. She told me they will not accept anything that say “SmartSource” on them. Now I have to check all my printed coupons and make a note! Just thought I would let everyone know.

      • tygirl13

Thats crazy! SmartSource is a distributor of coupons and those are simply the online versions of them (complete w/ verification information). Red Plum does the same thing. I can understand that they must encouter some problems with printable coupons. But to refuse all SmartSource printables, is a little over the top.

    • Sammy1769

So last week I went to CVS for the execdrin deal. I had a 4.00/20.00 purchase coupon, (2) free execdrin coupons, (1) 2.50 off coupon, and (1) 1.00 off coupon. First off it took me forever to actually find a CVS to have the execdrin and when I finally did get my hands on them this is what happened at the register: I gave all my products to the lady, everything rang up to $21.86, I gave her my coupons in the order above which left me with a total of $4.28. She gave me my receipt and of course I looked at it before starting with my next transaction and noticed there was no $10 ECB. Well I asked her why this was, and she pointed at the bottom of the receipt that I needed 5.13 more to spend to get the ECB. I told her then I didn't want the products anymore because my total already reached 21.86. She refunded my 4.28 and gave me 17.58 back on a gift card!!!! She told me she could not give me back my coupons, that the transaction was over with. Has anyone ever heard of this???? I was so upset. This week I went back to CVS to try get some “more” deals and everything was gone! So frustrated!!!!!!

      • mominsc

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago. I had about $12 in coupons for Excedrin that couldn't be returned, so the cashier refunded me cash.

      • momto2boys

I don't know why the ECB's didn't print, I used coupons for free excedrin and my total was less than $20 and I got the ECB's. Hmmmmmm

      • Elizabethdiann

Happened to me once. My CVS is hit or miss getting someone that knows the deal. Next time ask for a mgr. They can over ride the register and make it print your bucks.

      • Sammy1769

Weird… Thank you for all who responded!! I will definitely ask for a manager next time.

      • Jbush27

No, they CAN NOT take your coupons

      • Jbush27

No, they CAN NOT take your coupons

    • Amiecher337

Does anyone know if you can use your CVS ECB at Publix? Thanks in advance!

      • kaseyshadow

depends on your Publix. In the COla, sc area the answer is a BIG NO! my friend lives in the Pensacola, FL area and can use them and the walgreens RR at hers. You probably will just have to ask.

    • Chiefsangeleyes

The single serving Dove chocolate bars are 89 cents. and printing a 89cent ECB! Scan your card at the kiosk, cashier said most people are reporting getting a 50cent off coupon…I did! Free, plus 50cent profit chocolate! It's love!

      • Happy Feet

Funny Storry… I thought the $.50 coupon Dove was for the soap… So red faced I found out it was for candy!!! Ha ha!

        • Lilreddiver

Me too! Only reason I learned different was reading on this site!!

    • Heather

Help!! I have never done CVS before, and I had a question. If the ad states “Limit 2 per household” do they really enforce that? Also, is it bad etiquette to buy 10 of one thing? What I wanted to do was buy 10 Finish boxes on my first transaction. 3 Scott tp's on my second transaction and 1 more Scott tp on my 3rd transaction. That is all I need out of the products listed for the ECB's and total I will only spend $27 for all of it. But I just need to know if this is OK to purchase that many at a time.
Thank you for any help you can give me!! God blelss.

      • momto2boys

I think its ok if you need that many and will use it. I doubt however you are going to find that many in one store especially this late in the week. You may have to get a raincheck or find out when the truck arrives. Also keep in mind that the ECB's will only print the number of times allowed (ex. limit 1 you will only get ECB's once even if you buy the deal twice) does that make sense? Don't forget that these items will go on sale again somewhere.

      • Sandy

If says “limit 2 per household” they do enforce this. It's tracked by your card.

    • Love_the_Food

I receive a $1.00 off any Snickers from swiping my card at the coupon box which made the Snickers bar free and I got the .89 EBC on top of that.

    • Obbie40

C.V.S. in my area had Reach Floss marked down to .99 cents and there is a coupon out there for $1 makes it free!! Also listerine mouthwash is marked down $3.99 get $1back extra rewards plus there is a coupon for $1 milkyway candy bar on sale plus a .89 cent reward and there is a coupon for them as well Just updating with my finds in Hurricane
      W.V.

      • Obbie40

Oh and the reward machine gave me a $3 off coupon on Almay makeup which some have 75% stickers off on so it was free also

    • SavNKY

Has anyone done the Scotts deal more than once and gotten the $10 ECB both times?

      • SavNKY

Answering my own question in case someone else wants to know…..I did it for the second time today….worked perfectly….now my receipt says “Limit Reached.”

    • Nichols_again

I scored big today in the makeup department at CVS. Left with 5 L'Oreal duo HIP shadows, 2 L'Oreal lipsticks, 1 HIP cream eyeliner, and 2 Physicians Formula twin consealors for…………5.32. A total savings of 96.94

      • hunters_mommy929

I'm new to the CVSing…usually stick to Kroger & Rite Aid, but have decided to venture out this year. So can you explain how you were able to accomplish this? Oh BTW – congrats on your great trip!

      • Lisa H

I did slightly better than you…I was saving my Loreal makeup coupons hoping a good sale would come up. The other day I purchased over 50 items that were all marked down 50-75% off. After coupons, I paid $68, with a savings of $496. I did get $10 ECB's for buying Loreal items, and another $5.00 one should be printing for spending over $50 through the new Beauty Rewards Program. Netted togther that's $53 for over 50 items! Blessings!

    • Guest

This website is awesome! I am an employee at CVS and rarely have time or energy to go shop other places after work, so it helps me save and makes it kinda fun!

      • Nichols_again

especially if you work there…thats awesome!

    • Dianne

Has any found a good sent in the Airwick kits? I bought the Lavender Chamomile relaxation scent. It smells like a grandma's old perfume to me! Yuck! I have two others I bought since I did the ECB deal. Just wondering if there's a better scent that I can exchange for or if I should just give them to someone who will enjoy this scent.

      • free2beme

I buy them alot..i like the harvest apple..i believe is what it's called..They smell so good. I always have compliments when people come in my house

        • Dianne

Thank you! That sounds yummy smelling! :)

    • Loretta

I am a Newbee at couponing. I understand CVS and one down the street. I went and got my things. Apparently no printed coupons from SmartSource accept any longer. So, my Izze was out. It went well, but the cashier insisted in doing everything in one transaction instead of multiples and gave me cash back for the ECBs (except the $10 ECB-I received coupon). She got me off my game. Great website!

      • Jbush27

They can't ask you to do that. If you want to do multiply transactions then it is your right as the customer to do so.

    • Juliea201

I'm guessing based on my visit today that the $3 ECB wyb $10 in L'oreal products is NOT good on the clearance-stickered makeup? Not a huge deal; I went back to my CVS hoping for one of the Physician Formula coupons from the machine (nope again!), and I ended up snagging the PF concealer for $0.29, then decided to grab some clearance Loreal makeup. I'm pretty sure I spent $10 on the Loreal stuff, but no ECB. :( (My cashier was also clearly suffering a bad cold so I chose not to question it & to grab my stuff and dash for my hand sanitizer!)

      • Nichols_again

I also went for the L'Oreal deals, and I bought lots of clearance items and didn't get ECB's…The cashier said it didn't apply to the clearance items…I still got such good deals and then came home and came across more coupons for L'Oreal so I may head back tomorrow to see what else I may find.

      • The other week there was one on Revlon and it didn't work on the clearance ones- but they printed my ECB without issue once I asked!

    • Imousework

I may not get to CVS this week. Snowed in here in Auburn, GA.

    • Proudlyamom

Can't do both Pepsi deals but I used the $10 ECB to purchase 5- 2L drinks at $1 each and got 2 bags of chips. So, for $22 out of pocket, I got 6 boxes of canned drinks, 5 – 2L sodas and 2 bags of chips. Doesn't sound too healthy, huh? They are diet drinks, at least!

    • Anna

Has anyone had this happen? I went in and bought cottonelle (10) Scott papertowels (10) and Scott tissue (10) for the “Spend 25 get 10 ECB deal.” I used 2.00 scott Q, .5o Cottonelle Q and a 3 Cottonelle Q from the Magic Machine. It didn't print my 10 ECB! On my receipt it says I've only spent 25 on this offer–which means it's calculating AFTER Qs. This is the 2nd time it's happened to me at CVS. Have they changed their policy? BTW-I pointed it out to the cashier and they printed the ECB out, but last time the cashier didn't. Am I missing something?!?!

      • Jessica

yay you have to spend the 25 after coupons to get the ecb bc the policy has changed my hubby works there so i asked him

        • Anna

Would your hubby know if it's a store by store or regional policy? Some people are saying it's fine, but I'm seeing others that are having the same issue. (I'm in Anderson, SC) I don't understand the change since CVS will get reimbursed for all ManQ anyway. That policy change may have big ramifications as to my shopping habits…

          • CVSworker :)

I work at a store in the Anderson area and to my knowledge, this is not true.

        • Happy Feet

When did this change? This week, My store gave the EB's for the Pepsi and the lysol deal. So I came out with my eb's after using coupons for $54… I only owed $10.

        • Lisamarieonssi

if it changes here i'll be switching to wal-greens & rite aid! they get the manuf. coupon money back so????? guess its a way to make you spend more

      • Amy

It must depend on the store. I did it with coupons and other ECBs. My total was 13.97 and the $10 ECB printed on my receipt like normal. Maybe the area???

      • momto2boys

I don't really know, I thought it was the total before coupons but some people are posting otherwise. I did the excedrin deal last week and used my “free” q's and my total was less than $20 and I still got my ECB's no problem.

        • Happy Feet

          I did too

      • Mandie33n

I bought 1 (10) Scott papertowels, 2 of the 3 boxes of kleenex, and 1 24 pack Scott toilet paper and had the 2.00 off coupon for Scott plus the .50 coupon for kleenex so it was under $25 after coupons and it printed the 10 ECB for me automatically.

    • Holly

I called CVS Customer Service and they say the 2 Pepsi deals are a part of the same ECB deal….but, it has a Limit 2 so you can spend $20 twice and get the 10 ECB.

    • savingsusan

Do you know if I get a rain check for the Finish dishwasher tabs and I have already gotten the limit on them if I can use it later or should I just use my mom's CVS card to get the ECB??

      • Riley

It would be unethical to get a raincheck for a deal you have already purchased. Actually, scratch that. It would be wrong.

      • Jbush27

your card will know that you already did the deal and won't print ecb's again.

    • Keoshia

I am new to this so here is what I got at CVS today.

      Transaction 1
      (4) airwick imotion 5.00 each ($3 off coupons x 4)
      (1) snicker bar .89 ea
      (2) snicker bar 1.59 ea
      (3) Maalox max 12oz6.79 each ($5 off coupons x 3)

      Subtotal. $17.44
      tax $2.67
      total $20.11

      got back 21.48 in ECB

      Transaction 2

      (2) 3 pack Kleenex 3.00 each ( $.50 off coupon x 2)
      (2) 24 pack scott dbl roll tissue $10 each

      Subtotal 26.00
      used ECB 21.48
      Subtotal $2.52
      tax $1.56
      total $4.08

I till have $10.00 in extra care bucks.

So for my first time couponing and my first transactions, can yall tell me if I did good or bad and give me any tips. Thanks!!!

      • gardengirl

Great!!!!! If I have the right q's, I'm going to use your list. Since you still have $10 ECB, you will have less out of pocket (OOP) next time.

      • SMC

Keoshia, Where did u find the Maalox max coupon?

    • Sassybug95

Anybody else having trouble finding a CVS that actually has the Pepsi products in stock?

      • Sue

it's not surprising that they are out of stock as this is a big sale for both couponers and non-couponers alike. Just ask for a raincheck and make sure that the ecb deal is on there as well and wait a week or two.

I had a raincheck from the $0.88 Cokes from a couple of weeks ago. There were plenty of those this week, so I just bought Cokes this week and will wait for the Pepsi stuff to get restocked.

      • Sue71

YES!!!!! Nothing…checked 3 of my area stores!

      • Stacey

yes, but they did offer to substitute coke and still gave the $10 ECB

        • Lisamarieonssi

I wish mine were out o I could get coke zero instead!

    • Dawnkeyotie

I have a question that you guys may have already answered somewhere, but at CVS, when you are required to spend $20 to get back $10 in ECB, can it be _before_ using coupons? I guess what I mean is that if I get $20 worth of products, then use coupons totally $12 and therefore only PAY $8, will I still get $10 ECB back?

      • momto2boys

Yes that is what is so great about it! You should get your ECB's on the total before coupons!

    • Mommieoftwo

Hi Im new to this whole coupon thing but I have to say OMG!!! Today I went to CVS and scored big time!! I did the Scott and Kleenex deal and got my $10 in ECB then I bought (2) airwick Freshmatic mates at $6.00 and I have (2) $4.00 off coupons made them $2.00 each, (1) lysol Nuetra air at $3.00 had a $1.50 Coupon made it $1.50 and last a Airwick Mini Feshmatic at $5.00 had a coupon for $3.50 made it $1.50 grand total before coupons was $20.00 Used my $10.00 ECB and $12.50 in coupons so my total was $0 and they paid me $2.50 plus I rcv $10 in ECB!! I was so excited I just had to share!!! Thank you so very much for thgis site!! I Love it!!!

    • Sue71

Ok – I went to CVS this afternoon to get the Gas-X and 24 Hour Prevacid deal as well as the Pepsi = couldn't find either. Actually, the Gas-X Prevention was not even an itme in the store and the 24 Hour was not included in the CVS deal. So now what?? This happen to anyone else? Jenny – this is the 3rd week in a row that a couppon you say will work with a deal does not work due to that particular type of item not being included in the deal. last week it happened at Walgreens with the Nyquil with SInex. How are you able ot use them?

      • tygirl13

If you look at the ad, Prevacid24 is actually pictured as one of the included items. My stores never have the ECB tags up correctly, so I always use the ad as my reference while shopping. HTH.

Jenny offers this as a service that is free to us, and I am sure that she is not able to test every single deal. The Sinex Nyquil deal has worked at Walgreens in the past, so I am sure that is why she posted it again. Unfortunately, couponing is a lot of trial and error.

      • Abcismyhrt

Gax-X prevention was on the shelf right next to the Beeno and not lined up with the other Gas-x products. This deal worked beautifully for me. FTR- prevention is not pictured in the ad or posted on the shelf ,but it is included. All you have to do is ask.

    • Hailyn&David'sMom

The CVS in our area (Waynesboro, VA) lets you do the Scotts/Kleenex deal 2 times. This listing said it was only a 1 time deal. Just thought some people might find this interesting.

    • Samatia86

anyone know where to get finish coupons ? My ss 1/02 didn't have them….

      • Chcmitchell08

Im having the same problem. My SS 1/2 didnt have it either. :(

      • Denise

I ordered mine from coupondede. I placed my order yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon and my order was shipped within the hour.

    • Pam

CVS has a great deal on Clear Care – $9 after ECB…went in and the coupon center gave me a $3.00 coupon. 2 Clear Care's for $6! Great deal for contact wearers.

    • Southernfriedwahoo

?? on large ECB rules…my mailer states:
“spend $25 get $10 ECB when you buy Kleenex, Cottonelle, or Scott products”
      and another offer of
“spend $20 get $10 ECB when you buy Frito-Lay products”

does this mean that I can get $20 cash back if I make a purchase > $25 that includes one Kleenex product and one Frito-Lay product?

or must I have two separate transactions, one of > $25 and one of > $20?

      • Bamasaver

You must buy $25 worth (before coupons) of Kleenex/Cottonelle/Scott & $20 worth (again, before coupons) of Frito-Lay products to get the applicable ECBs. Doing so will get you two separate $10 ECBs printed. Can be done in either a single or two transactions, but can roll the 1st $10 ECB onto the 2d transaction if done separately.

      • They are two separate deals. You have to buy $20 worth of Pepsi /Frito Lay products and get $10 ECBs and you have to buy $25 worth of Kleenex/Cottonelle/Scott products and get $10 ECBs. You can do them in the same transaction or you can do separate transactions and use the ECB fro your first transaction to help pay for the second transaction.

    • MK

I went on Sunday and purchased (6) 12 packs of pepsi for $10ECB back and also purchased (1) 12 pack pepsi (2) lays chips (2) starbucks (2) sobe lifewaters to get the spend $20 get $10ECB back. I had only (1) $10ECB print out when (2) $10ECB should have printed out. I called customer service and they looked it up and confirmed that yes indeed I had purchased the qualifying amount and credited my ECB account with $10ECB that will print the next time I got to the store within 48hrs.

On the same trip I wanted to purchase the Clear Care contact solution and the Finish powerball tabs for the dishwasher. The store in MCDONOUGH, GA on Hwy 20 was out of both. I asked for a rain check for them and the cashier said per her manager on that shift that I was only allowed to have 1 rain check- that I had to pick 1 item or the other I wasnt allowed to have a rain check for each of the items that were out of stock. I said to please check with her manager again bc I had never heard that rain check policy or ever had that be an issue. The cashier came back and said that her manager said only 1 rain check allowed, and that she was busy and if I wanted to speak w her I would have to come back later on that day. RIDICULOUS! So I got my one rain check and left highly aggravated.

I called customer service today and they fixed the ECB issue above and then filed a complaint w the district manager about the store and manager above. I asked for a call back and they noted it and said that I would receive a call as soon as the matter was handled with the store's manager and whoever was manager on shift that day.

I will be receiving a rain check in the mail for the items I wanted and also a call back within the next 24-72 hours, as soon as the district manager speaks to and clarifies the CVS policies with that specific store and its employees :)

Even the customer service rep on the phone said he had never heard of that policy for the rain checks and that was absolutely wrong!

      • Proudlyamom

I hope you get your ECBs. They promised this to me before (for only $1) and they never showed up!

      • MK

        update:

I received a call about 2 hours or so after posting this from the manager of that store, and he apologized profusely and said he talked to both the shift manager and cashier from that day and explained to them that they were indeed wrong and that was not the correct policy. He explained the correct policy to them and all should be well now. I just dont want anyone or me to run into a problem like that again :) The more educated a person is on their policies, the more help that person can be!

    • Delps03

MY CVS had gillette body wash on close out and then I got a .50 coupon at the coupon machine making the dove bar aroung .40.

Aussie shampoo is also on sale. YOu can use the buy on get one free coupon. I got the gillette body wash, aussie shampoo, aussie cond, and a bar of dove soap. I spent a little over 5.00

Im new at this but I though it was a good deal. The aussie coupon came off the reg price and not the sale price YAY!

    • Mrs. B

FYI..there is a $5 of Maalox coupon in the SS 1/9 paper. Not sure if anyone posted this yet…also, I went to 3 different CVS stores to get the maalox deal. BTW..they are all within 2 miles of me, so no big deal.

One CVS charged me $6.49 each. So I bought there last 2. The other charged me $6.39 and they only had one left. The 3rd CVS rang up $6.79. I showed my receipts from my past two transactions to the store manager and she gave me the Maalox for $6.49. She said the stores did not change their prices and now her store will get in trouble for price matching.

      In total, I bought (4) Maalox 65 tablet bottles – (3) for $6.49 and (1) for $6.39
      Used (4) $5 off coupons
For a grand total of $5.86 and got back $10 ECB!!! Whooooohoooo!

    • Brittany G.

I have been printing coupons from coupons.com for a while. The last few I’ve printed I’ve noticed that there is no numbers below the barcode in the lower left-hand corner. Is anyone else having this problem? Is this new? My ink is low so I thought that might be the problem but all the fine print is printing as normal.

    • Dianne

Just had to share my deals….

I spent $34, saved $71 & have $13 in ECBs. Meaning my net out of pocket was $21 for at least $105 worth of stuff! :) (I should've saved $1 more plus gotten free Slimfast bars but they didn't want to accept coupons on clearance items and I didn't fuss because I had done so well and the manager had been really nice.)

      Here's what I Got:

      Dove candy bar
      Snickers candy bar
      Reese's cups
      6 Pepsi product 12 packs
      5 Pepsi product 2-liters
      Doritos
      2 Frappucino 4 packs
9 cans of Bumble Bee tuna
      1 Izze soda 4 pack
2 boxes of 20 Finish dishwasher tabs
      3 Airwick starter kits
      3 boxes of Kashi cereal
      2 Slimfast shake 6 packs
      1 L'oreal mascara

      • Dianne L

Hi, Dianne! Where do you live? I am in Acworth, GA. I used to be Dianne on Southern Savers until I started seeing you post. I changed to Dianne L for less confusion. After all, there aren't many Dianne's with that extra n around!

Good haul from CVS, by the way!

      • SMC

I would love to know what coupons/scenarios, etc you used to get this deal :)

    • Nichols_again

      Will CVS give rain checks?

      • Coupons090

i have gotten them before and they do not exp. they even have a place to include extra care bucks if any

      • msivory20

They do give rain checks on non-seasonal items, and the definition of “non-seasonal” is up to them.

    • Patti

Does anyone know what CVS will do if they have something on sale B1G1 50% off and you have a coupon for the same product that is B1G1 Free?

      • Coupons090

usually they give you the half price one for free.seems like a waste to me ,with the value of the coupon being worth one at full price. ymmv

      • couponnewby

My CVS gave me the regular price as the coupon, so I got two items for 1/2 price of one.

    • Coupons090

for those who may have changed e-mail CVS has a beauty club with lots of perks you may want to sign up for .found it in my in box today.

    • Dsci2003

i am new to CVS. are the ECB linked to your card? if someone gives u there ECBs can u use them with a different ECB card?

      • Dianna

ECBs are linked to your card and only work with your card. So, you can't use anyone else's card.

    • LW-Mommyof2

My CVS had selected Loreal Paris products at 75% off, I had 2 x $5 off 2 loreal products manufac coupons and then got $3 ECB for a pre-coupon purchase of greater than $10. I made money! Thanks Jenny for teaching me to coupon and save my family an average of 65% off retail on our groceries!! Oh yeah, and with deals like this, Mommy gets to have a few little name brand treats, too…

    • Kmattern

Anyone else have a problem printing the Izze coupon? It says “your coupons are printing,” but instead of printing, another page pops up saying “please ensure your printer is turned on and the printer is connected to your computer.” I know there's nothing wrong with my printer…I just printed something earlier. Any idea what's going on?

      • My sister printed 2 for it- it literally took an HOUR for it to print- just let your PC sit there and go do something else when you come back you will have 1 printed!

      • Shanti Pena

me too..i had such issues with the Izze coupon. Then it locked up my printer..because it was still in que.after the headache, i only got one coupon

    • Happy Feet

Can we download our coupons on our Card from CVS?

      • You can only download Upromise coupons onto your CVS card.

    • Mrs.Clack

Hi Everyone! I have a question about a scenario to see if it will work…I buy

      (2) Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra Kits
      (2) Air Wick Freshmatic Refills

      I Use…

      (2) $4.00 off Air Wick Freshmatic Kit coupon
      (1) B1G1 Air Wick Refill coupon

      Would it end up being…

      $22.00
      – $13.00 in coupons

total $9.00 OOP and $10.00 ECB?

Sorry, I am still new to CVS.
      Thanks for the help!

      • Yes, that scenario should work. Good luck!

      • Oxoheavensqtoxo

        have you tried it?

      • Mcleodsc

It will work it your store has all the items in stock. Tried this today but they were out of air wick

      • Wmllewis

You are correct, Mrs.Clack. I actually did this deal using this exact scenario at my store today. :)

    • Caroline

Don't know if anyone has posted this but I got a $3 off Cottonelle 18 pk from the red kiosk yesterday. Just realized we need toilet paper so I need to work out a scenario to use it. Already did the Maalox deal so I've got $10 ECBs to work with.

      • Mandi

do the cottonelle deal, buy $25 worth then get $10ecb plus use your coupon. makes it nearly free.

    • Leah

If you're taking advantage of the Pepsi deal, be sure to check for sticker coupons on the side of the 12 packs. I bought diet Siierra Mist and each one had a .55 coupon on the side so I saved an extra 3.30. Not sure if it's on the other Pepsi varieties, but with EC bucks and coupons, I got Pepsi 12 packs for essentially 1.12 each!

    • Tmouzone

Thanks to the person in Beaufort SC who bought 21 boxes of finish geeeeeeeeeeezzzz! Leave some for everyone else.

    • Poseidon92

Just got back from CVS after buying my last two L'Oreal Preference hair color to complete at least $30 to receive $10 ECBs so each of the six came out for $1.33 after using a $3/1 coupon for each one. The sale was for buy 2 for $12 as advertised but you have to look at your receipt to noticed that there was a $10 ECB after spending $30. This was a great deal considering the regular price.

    • Sing4Him

OK, so it's taken my awhile to figure all this out and I'm still learning, but I had my first successful trip to CVS today. I had no ECB when I entered the store. My transactions all together were $65.97 “after” store sales. After q's and ECB received from each transaction, I only spent $15.26 oop. I wanted to shout “Yay me”, but I composed myself! Jenny, thanks for all you do! My husband is loving the money I'm saving and so am I. I hate to think of all the money I've wasted over the years by not couponing!

      • tygirl13

I hear you on the pre-couponing regrets! I remember being so irritated when I ran out of deodorant or shampoo b/c I didn't want to spend $5 out of our grocery money. Now I have enough deodorant and shampoo to last at least a year (name brand stuff too!) ;-)

    • Sascarter

Wowzers at the comments for this post! Mine will make #670!!!! I know this has probably been explained thousands of times before but…if I have a $4 off of $20 coupon, can that be used along with ECB deals, already earned ECBs that I'll be redeeming, and my manufacturer's coupons?

      • Smurphy

Yes, just hand it in first before other ECB's and Q's

        • Sascarter

          Thanks

    • Asdoodle

My husband went to cvs today for the pepsi deal. The first transaction (6 for 3.33 each) worked fine. However, they were out of dorito's so he did another 6 12 paks for the buy $20 deal and he didn't get any ECB back. The lady said it was b/c it was limit one deal… so he couldn't buy a second 6. Has anyone else had trouble with this? I'm thinking of returning it… if I can.

      • MileyCat

You did not get your ECB printed because 6 x $3.33 is just short of $20.00. There is another deal for 10 ECB when you buy $20 in Pepsi products. If you had bought an extra 2 liter bottle of Pepsi for $1.00 the ECB would have printed. If I where you I would return them to the store and retry it.

        • momto2boys

This isn't the case because I did both deals with 6 12packs and got my ECB's both times.

        • joanna00

The Pepsi packs are on sale 6/$20, not $3.33 each (read all 700 previous comments). She did the transaction correctly. The ECB deals even have different event codes so Asdoodle should show the cashier the ad to justify her transaction.

      • Wmllewis

I not only did this deal twice, for the same reason that you mention your husband having with the lack of other available products, and my ECBs printed. My receipt shows that I've spent $39.90 and my limit has been reached, so it shouldn't be because you didn't spend quite $40 either. I would take them back and talk to the manager. Good luck! :)

    • Mbcece

Just got lucky today…swiped my card on the way in to CVS today as suggested by someone. Well, just my luck it printed out a $10.00 off coupon for Physicians Formula mineral makeup. Since I was in need and use that type, I went shopping to find out PF was also on sale for $7 off..with many summer shades 75percent off. I got one shade for now and one for summer…original price was $31 and change..after sale and coupon 78 cents.

    • Deb

I am getting pretty discouraged about CVS. It seems that almost every time I go, they are out of what I am looking for. Today, I went to do the Scott Tissue deal, and they were out and no rainchecks because it is not a normally stocked product. It is just not worth the time to collect all my coupons, drive down there, and come back empty handed.

      • Smurphy

I would speak to the store mgr or call the 800# for C/S (if the mgr doesn't have an acceptable answer), it might not be a “stock” item but if it weren't I doubt they would advertise it, but I know CVS is great about satisfying customers. If that's the right story I bet they will offer a substitute of equal value. Chances are more likely that someone in the local store was just being lazy or was mis-informed.

      • mz_10deroni

dont get discouraged. For theses types of deals you usually have to go in the beginning of the week. Try another CVS if possible. At this point of the sale you will more than likely not find Scott's but I do not see why you cant get a rain check. I would call corp and ask just in case.

    • Smurphy

Looks like the CVS email I just got the Pepsi/Frito Lay deay is on again (or still) next week. Someone please correct me if I am wrong but it looks like the Pepsi/Lays deal just keeps working as long as you do each ~$20 ($19.95) deal in seperate txns.

    • TilleP

I am new at all this and at times it gets very confusing, but today my inexperience paid off. I could not find the Scott towels or Kleenex deal either. When I got to the register with my >$25.00 of products, it did not generate the ECB's and the cashier said it was because I did not buy the “correct items” When I told her that they were out, the manager let me return the more expensive tissues, buy the cheaper ones since bundles were out and in the end I got the ECB's. I wish I had a math brain like my hubby. It wasn't until I got home I realized I spend 10.99+ 3.00 + 7.49 + tax and got the ECB's even though my total wasn't 25.00. I had finished doing the photo books (they finally got paper in!) before shopping for my paper things, so I was a bit flustered. What's that phrase, “God looks out for fools and angels?” :0)

    • LT

Went to CVS today and got a coupon from the red machine -1.50 off a Kotex U product…18 count liners are $1.49–FREE!! Also, bought Physicians Formula concealer for .99 b/c some PF makeup is -$7.00! Just waiting for a prescription and found more deals! Hope this helps someone!! :)

    • Delps03

Ok im really excited and want to share. I went to cvs to and they have the Aussie shampoo on sale for 2.99. I used (2) buy one get one free coupons. The coupons are taken off the reg price and not the sale price. So I got 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners used 2 b1g1 coupons. I spent 3.38 and used $2.00 ecb from a previous transaction. Grand total 1.38 YAY! with out the $2 ecb you pay .84 cents each. I think its a good deal.

    • Bamasaver

Just got a $4/$20 in my e-mail, good until Sun.–hope they still have some items in stock, especially since they should've gotten a truck in today. Maybe I can really rack-up (for the 2d time this week)!!!

      • Donna

Yep, I got one too – YAY! I got a great deal this past Sunday on the Lysol Freshmatics ($2.65 oop on $46 worth of stuff and got $10ECB) but I'd love to pick up the Pepsi deal: $20 for 6 – $4/20 – $10 ECB = $6 oop + get $10 ECB again. Hopefully they have some in stock! :)

    • CoolBorg

Wish I had the 2.50 off coupons for the Finish Detergent. $1.00 off will have to do. I took advantage of the Pepsi and Izze deal today. First time at CVS. I started with $0 ECB. Spent $27.64, used $7 in coupons, and ended the day with $11.59 in ECB which I will use tomorrow. Awesome.

    • Oxoheavensqtoxo

I have a question about using my $4/20 coupon i got in an email… ok I wanted to use it on this $10 ECB WYB $25 Scott, Kleenex, Cottonelle deal. I went to the store use 10ecb's to buy the scott napkins and kleenex and got a rain check for the scotts toilet tissue and some cottonelle wipes. When i go back to buy the remaining products will i be able to use the coupon since my total will only come up to about 13.00?

      • SEM

You'll only be able to use the $4/$20 purchase coupon if you use the coupon before it expires.

      • Lainehw70

Always use your $4/20 coupon first

    • Jandtthacker

FYI There is a Delsym $1 off coupon on their website and I went on Swagbucks search and got 10swag bucks just for searching Delsym. http://delsym.com/coupon/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=delsym&utm_campaign=delsym

    • Struckdeals

I've never done the CVS rain check (despite the need to do it several times, it seems they are out of everything by the time I get there). I'm wondering how it works. Do I ask the cashier for a rain check for specific items and can come back in a week or month or whenever and get those items at the same price? I assume that's how it works.

Also, what if only some of the items are missing for the ECB rewards. For example, this week I went in to get the Lysol/Finish deal. They had some Lysol, which I was going to get a couple of, but was out of the Finish. Do I have to get a rain check for all the items to get the ECBs back, despite some of them being on the shelf? What if my coupons expire by the time I can pick up the rain check (not sure that they will, just wondering)?

      • Mistydawnwall

One of the cashiers at the one I go to acted like she might go ahead and ring me up like I have bought the products. I would get to use my q's now and get my ECB's. Then the rain check would say what I am getting and say that I had already paid for it. That way you could go ahead and get your Lysol, pay for the Finish and use your q's, get the ECB's, but just pick up the Finish later. Worth a shot to ask….

        The rainchecks never expire though…

        • Struckdeals

Thanks Mistydawnwall! That's sounds like the most reasonable way to handle it, I just wasn't sure what the rain check looked like/said. Wasn't sure if it was a ticket to come back and get the same sale or a ticket to come back and get an item. I'll try it today. Thank you!

    • Struckdeals

My CVS also had lots of close-outs on shampoo and make-up. I got 2 bottles of Dove for .19 each, 2 Aveeno hair products for .57 each and some Neutrogena make-up for 2.99 and 4.99. Not too shabby

    • HannahMac

Question: I did the 6 for $20 pepsi deal yesterday and got $10ECB and I saw where you can possibly do it twice. If I use my $10ECB when I pay for the next $20 pepsi products will that in any way hinder the printing of the other $10ECB that I should get?

      • momto2boys

No it won't you will still get $10 ECB's in the end.

      • HannahMac

Thanks. I'm headed back now. :)

    • Nadkins

I went to 2 CVS stores and both told me that I could not do the pepsi transaction twice.

      • momto2boys

They two separate deals if you look at the ad it is in there twice. You can do it both times and get ECB's both times. I did it and my mom did it this week.

        • Nadkins

          Thanks…I'm going back!

    • momto2boys

I wonder if this ad has the most comments ever yet??

    • Jtalerico1

in the columbia, sc area – milk is 2.99…which is better than what kroger's advertised it this week (3.29) and better than what bilo is selling it for (3.18)

So this was my first week couponing at CVS, and this is what I did. 4 transactions:

      #1 6/$20 Pepsis
      1 starburst candy
      paid $22.52 oop
      10.89 back in ECBs

Then I came home and thought that was a pretty good deal. So I got on here and was encouraged to go back out and pick up another 6 pepsis. I went back to the store and took all my coupons with me and this is what I ended up doing.

      #2 6/$20 Pepsis
      Used 10.89 in ECB
      paid $10.66 oop
      10 back in ECBs

#3 5 Loreal Prefference hair color (I was in need!) @$6 each
used 5 $3 off coupons and $10 ECB
      paid $7.78 oop
      10 back in ECBs

      #4 4 Maalox tabs @ $6.29
2 Aveeno hair styling products @ $1.99 (all they had, items were on clearance)
2 fillers totaling $3 (cause they said I had to)
      1 hersheys drops
used 4 $5 off maalox coupons, 2 $1.50 off aveeno coupons, and 10 ECBs
      paid $3.83 oop
      11.59 back in ECBs

Total spent out of pocket $44.79
      Total worth of merchandise $168.01
      Total saved $123.22
Total ECBs remaining for future purchases $11.59
Thats like getting $168.01 for $33.20, I AM SO EXCITED!!! Thanks Jenny!!!!!

Also, question: I did the pepsi transaction 2 times and the loreal hair care transaction and neither of them say that my limit is reached, both say amount need to earn reward as if I can continue to do the deal? Has anyone tried to do the deal more than twice on the pepsis? I am out of preference coupons otherwise I would love to do that deal again as well.

Very disappointed on this great week. After 3 trips to a couple different CVS, they of course never had any amp or finish. I did get rain checks, but they would only allow me 4 finish on my rain check. Therefore, I had to buy 3 jet dry at $3 each to get to the $20 because I can't use smelly stuff like Lysol due to my child's sever allergies. After buying the coupons and not the jet dry, this is no longer a fun money-maker!! Now I am disappointed at CVS again!!

Hey !! WOW is all I can say.. i attended your seminar here in Knoxville, Tn this morning, came home honestly still a little skeptical thinking it was all to good to be true. So I thought I would go to CVS and try it.. I didn't actually get to not spend any money but I did get close to 26.00 worth of stuff and only paid 7.12 ! Now that is not free but let me tell you, it was a great deal especially with all the stuff I got ! Thank you so much !

Thanks to all who find great deals an post. The unadvertised Sally Hansen 75% off sale combined with the on-line coupons made for some CHEAP (about 25cents) nail polish and Lip Gloss. Would not have known about it if I hadn't did my Southern Savers Research first!! The clerk said she thought the sale ended Saturday. Would make great gifts for a friend or yourself. Thanks!!

How do you get more than one coupon for an item if you only buy one Sunday paper?

    • Frances

This is 2nd time buying at CVS, the 1st time I bought 6 boxes of Pepsi for $20.00 (Got back $10 ECB)

So this 2nd time around I used the $10 ECB. I made a mistake that I will explain further on; and make sure I don’t repeat it again.

      Total: $42.45
      Paid: $26.06
      Saved: $16.39
      Refund: $8.99 *Explanation below
Total real savings: $25.38 (When I get my refund of course :)

      • Vitamin Water 2 for $3 and I had 2 man. Coupons B1G1; so I paid only $3.00 for 4 bottles (.75 each)
      • Huggies Pull-Ups $8.99 – $1.00 (ECB) – $2.00 (Man. Coupon), end price only $5.99!
      • Huggies Pull-Ups $8.99 (this is where my mistake comes in, I got another Huggies thinking I would get another $1.00 ECB; and I didn’t! It’s one per card. But, that’s ok because I’m going to return it; and get a refund! Walgreens has the same offer but with $2 RR. :)
      • Three Clean & Clear Products $18.47 –Spend $15 and get $5.00 (ECB)- $4.00 (Man.Coupon); end price $9.47!!

I paid with my $10 ECB (from a previous purchase); and I got back $6 ECB!

Thanks Jenny!! I wouldn’t have been able to do this without your help!
