So excited! We're planning our first trip to Disney in March 2011! I just got the Princess mini snow globes for my daughter and plan to give her one each night of our trip as a “souvenier”. Each only cost $3.99 and were regulary $14.50! This will save me big bucks at Disney, plus it will be a nice keepsake for her first trip!

What a nice idea! Just wanted to mention that if you are flying, you can't put snow globes in your carry-on, just in checked baggage. We usually drive to Disney but we flew down in june for our anniversary (it was a treat!) and we heard all about the snowglobe rule. Just thought I might mention that for anyone else who flies to Disney too. :)

HI, We have made many trips to disney before moving here to central fl. If I could give you one item I think is a must have for disney newbees would be a book called the unofficial guide to walt disney world. Do not mistake it with the official guide. While the official guide is helpful the unofficial guide I found more accurate, and a lot more info. Let me know if I could be of more help. Happy couponers stick together lol.

        • Jls12783

where do you get the unofficial guide???

          • oneplustwins

Love the Unofficial guide. You can get it at any bookstore. It gives unbiased reviews of restaurants, rides, everything. They pay for their own meals, accommodations, everything, so they aren't pressured by Disney to say wonderful things. Used in for my trip in Dec 2008 and using it again for my Sept trip. Plus when you get the guide, they also have online information and updates.

another great (free) resource is http://www.allears.net. It has tons of up to date info, plus hundreds of reviews of everything–resorts, restaurants, etc. It can help you decide where to splurge, where you can save, and how to plan to get the best experiences. (ie we love to do character breakfasts in the late morning–it’s less crowded so you have more one on one time with the characters, plus it is so filling that you won’t need lunch!) Happy Disneying (and couponing!) :)

I am actually reading it now! I checked it out of the library last week & you're right there's tons of info about disney. I have gone as the “kid” but never as a “mom” so I am thinking of disney in a way I never have before, lol!

I just checked.. if you go thru ebates.. You will get 5% cash back =)

    • Lucy2778

I just ordered a day ago. Still got free shipping – previous promotion was “free shipping with any toy story item”. Check out their kids dinnerware – I bought everything in two collections, Disney Princess and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse mealtime collections. You will not find these items anywhere else, and most of these items are on sale and are very good quality. I scored a Disney Princess Snowglobe Tumbler for $2.99! (These are twice the price everywhere – that is if you can find one)
