Hot Chocolate on a Stick

My friend Amy always introduces me to new recipes.  A couple years ago she made the cutest (and tastiest) Christmas gift – homemade hot chocolate on a stick complete with homemade snowflake marshmallows.

Thankfully, she kept up with it on her own blog so we don’t have to bug her for a recipe.  Amy says she always put off making her own marshmallows because she thought it would be too complicated.  Turns out, they’re easier than you’d think.

This recipe is perfect for Christmas gifts!  Amy made the chocolate and marshmallows and put a stick through them.  She put cooking instructions on the back, but all we had to do is heat milk on the stove and stir in the hot chocolate stick.

My girls enjoyed this gift the most out of everyone.  They’ll never pass up sweets – especially Miss Amy’s recipe.
