lattice pie crust

I don’t love coffee, but when it’s cold outside, I’m all about a hot cup of apple cider.

I found the cutest lattice pie crust toppers for your apple cider from A Subtle Revelry.  Not only is it interesting and personal, but it will keep the cider warm until dinner is over and is a nice treat to much on with the cider.

Cut the pie crust into strips, make them into a lattice, cut them into a circle slightly larger than your mug, coat them with an egg/cinnamon sugar mixture and bake them until golden brown.

Using store-bought pie crust, this will be a pretty simple treat.  My girls can help me make the lattice and we can knock it off in no time!
