This is one of the best deals I have seen in a while.  Earth Fare has redesigned their website and, to celebrate, are offering everyone a coupon for a Free Dinner for 4 with a $10 dollar purchase!

To get your coupon, first go to the “Welcome Home” tab.  Then you either have to create a log-in username and password or, if you already have an account, just log-in.  You get one chance to print the coupon and it will have your name on it.  I’m not sure if this is the same for everyone, but for my coupon the expiration date was Feb. 16, 2011.

Here are the details:

Get the following Free with a $10 purchase:

Rustic Mashed Potatoes, 16 oz. (from deli)
Organic Baby Carrots, 16 oz. (from produce)
Fresh Whole Chicken, prepackaged (from meat dept), or Earth Fare Veggie Burgers, 1 box (from freezer)

(thanks Andrea!)

    • Jandtvickers

      Do they accept coupons?

      • TCC Bowtique

        Yes.

    • Karen

      Oh, wow, i'm excited!

    • Chrissydowning

my publix takes their coupons but do you think i can do this deal at publix?

      • TCC Bowtique

I'm wondering the same thing! I say its worth a shot – all they can say is, “No.” you know? : )

      • MC

I am trying to figure out the same thing!

      • KAWilson

I don't see why not—- I used the one for the free pound of deli chicken wings last week……

      • Mandi

Yes, I know you can in Huntsville, AL. They always take Earth Fare coupons!! :-)

        • Gilli001

          Mandi,

What store in Huntsville do you shop at???

      • SweetDenia

They'll probably accept it. Ask when you walk in the store. FYI for Summerville, SC, shoppers: Publix on Trolley Road is no longer accepting Earth Fare coupons. I'm not sure why – they still take them from Whole Foods.

      • Amy C.

I was informed on the chicken wing deal that the Publix in Augusta, GA on Fury's Ferry is no longer accepting EarthFare as a competitor. (I'm guessing because their coupons are so good!)

        • GeorgiaShopper

I used the wing coupon Sunday at Fury's Ferry with no issues. Asked the mgr first and he confirmed that it was fine. Cashier mentioned lots of customers had used the Earth Fare coupon that week…now I was told that effective two weeks ago, they are no longer accepting Target coupons at that location.

    • Thanks! They ran out of the free wings at our Earth Fare last week, so gave us half a chicken instead and it was TASTY. I'm excited for a whole one now. Thanks for posting!

    • Smiles365

      Exciting!!

    • Turningleaf

Woohoo! Our store opens on the 16th! This is exciting! Thanks!

    • Heathergcoupons

While you are on their website, be sure to check out the 'only at Earth Fare' coupons available on their website. You have to spend $10 to get the Free Dinner anyway.

    • MaryJ

This is great! I live in Montgomery and they are in the process of building a store here. it should be open by the 16th! Let's hope they don't have to push back their grand opening!

      • LindseyC

There's one here in Auburn if you get impatient. It's an amazing store!

      • millie

i know right! i saw that about a month ago and remembered seeing several posts on here for them and was so bummed that we could not use them, but now we can! this is great to be getting so many alternatives and savings!

    • melmel

      Jenny,

Do you do a flyer/coupon match-up for Earth Fare or, if not, do you know of anyone who does? Thanks again for all you do! God bless!

    • Bbj1969

My expiration date is the 16th too…. I won't be out near an earthfare until next Wednesday, the 16th, it should be good all that day shouldn't it?

      • jenburns08

        Yes. :-)

    • Can I stack the store kashi coupon with my $1 off kashi coupons? Also, don't forget that they carry Marcal Smart steps paper towels, use the $1 off coupons for a good deal on a roll. I will be in Boone on friday night so I think I will run in and grab this! Thanks Jenny!!

    • awesome!! thanks so much!

    • jenburns08

WOW! Thank you for posting this.

    • Frances

I'm a little confused. So I buy $10 in products, and then I get:
Rustic Mashed Potatoes, 16 oz. (from deli), Organic Baby Carrots, 16 oz. (from produce), Fresh Whole Chicken, prepackaged (from meat dept), or Earth Fare Veggie Burgers, 1 box (from freezer) which is the equivalent for a FREE dinner for 4? Thanks!

    • Farcoup

      before or after coupons

    • Tessarakt

My mom printed it. Has her name on it. Wonder if they'll let me use it …

I went and grabbed lunch at Earth Fare yesterday and got this deal while I was there!! FYI… There are whole chickens (yes raw) of all different sizes, so make sure you pick through and get the biggest one that you can find. Mine was nearly twice the weight of some of the smallest ones. Same deal with the mashed potatoes. They’re all in 16oz containers, but some weigh in close to 20 oz. As long as it is in the 16 oz container, its free!!!

Also, for those wondering what in the heck to do with a raw chicken… I made mine last night and it was DELICIOUS… Preheat oven to 450! I used the carrots from the deal and chopped up a large onion… put them in the bottom of a square baking pan along with about 3/4 cup of water (I didn’t need a giant roaster like I would for a turkey b/c this chicken was so much smaller). I then mixed seasonings with a half stick of REAL butter. I used all purpose seasoning, black pepper, ground cardamom, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, honey and some Tony Chaceres spice mix (this is what had salt in it). Mix whatever seasonings that you want until it tastes good (nothing raw in it, so just make the butter taste like you want the chicken to). Then use your fingers to separate the skin from the breast meat on the chicken, so it creates a little pocket, put about a third of the butter mixture under the skin on one side of the breast, then another third on the other side, under the skin. You can use a spoon to get it under there: put the butter on the spoon, slide the spoon under the skin and then press down with your fingers as you pull the spoon out, leaving the spiced butter under there. Then you can move the butter around, spreading it out under the skin by pressing against it. Do this for both sides. Then take the remaining third of the butter (after you pat the chicken dry on the outside!!!) and rub it all over the outside of the chicken. You can watch this video as it is done for a turkey to get an idea of what i’m talking about… http://video.about.com/homecooking/Holiday-Turkey-Butter.htm

Place the Chicken on top of the carrots and onions (you can add celery if you want, too, I just didn’t have any). You can fold the wings under for it to sit on if you want to. Put in the oven… leave at 450 for about 20 minutes (this is so the skin gets crispy) and then reduce the heat to 350 or 375 and cook until a thermometer reads 165 or about 20-25 minutes per pound in addition to the initial 20 minutes. If the skin starts getting too dark, you can just cover it LOOSELY with tin foil.

Ours was SOOOO delicious with the spicy cayenne and sweet honey and a little exotic ground cardamom… There wasn’t a little piece you could even pick off of the bone at the end of the night. Oh… the mashed potatoes were a GREAT side dish, too…

Oh… I almost forgot. You can also trade in a used tube of toothpaste with any ‘artificial ingredients’ (i.e. crest, colgate, etc) for a brand new tube of Nature’s Gate all natural toothpaste for FREE. You just have to print out the coupon from their website. http://www.earthfare.com/EarthFareVersion2/Home/What-You-Eat/TheBootChallenge.aspx

      Take ‘The Boot Challenge’!

Yum! and just in time for Valentines Day!! I “heart” Earthfare! We were there over the weekend and got a FREE pound of deli chicken wings with a $5 deli purchase. We were getting lunch anyway, so what a bonus. They were handing out coupons with a display. Thanks Earthfare!!

    • Elaine_mcchesney

this is probably a silly question but this “fresh whole chicken, prepackaged” is that like a rotisserie chicken or like a raw chicken that you take home and cook??
      THanks!!

      • KAWilson

        Raw…..

    • elaine

this may be a silly question – but is this “Fresh Whole Chicken, prepackaged” a RAW chicken or like a rotisserie chicken? I've never bought a raw chicken – not sure how to cook that. Thanks!!

      • Soccerswimchick

raw chicken. just google how to cook it.

    • KAWilson

Used mine at Publix tonight….yea for me!!!

    • Sydney

Has anyone tried this at Publix in Charleston, SC?

    • Svenja

Why isn't mine printing all the way. It starts and than it stops. Frustrating!

    • Karen

My expiration date is the 19th- I guess it has to do when you print it!

    • Jloverholser

      The dinner was delicious!!
