I've tried to buy some things that I have free coupons for but they wouldn't let it count toward my $5 purchase. :(

We're getting an Earth Fare in Montgomery, but I don't think it will be open in time for these deals!

Will Publix take these as competitor coupons? Can I get a free pound of ground chuck at Publix? Thanks.

      • Traci

I go to the Athens, AL Publix. They have accepted Earth Fare coupons in the recent past. I'm going to see about the free ground chuck there. I believe they will accept it.

      • Mandi

My Publix in Meridianville, AL took the free Brie cheese last week with no problems. I always check with customer service first and she said they accept them. WooHoo! Free beef for me!

Depends on the cashier/manager. If the cashier calls in some help, it will depend on how the manager is feeling that day. I've been told that they wouldn't take the coupon, but then came back 2 days later and the manager said they'd take it.

      • Chellbrewer

my publix always takes these coupons and they never say anything

Anyone know of any useful things to get for the $5 purchase? I'm running out of options. I don't usually buy organic, so if it's more expensive than what I usually buy, it's not worth it to me. Last week I bought their oil/vinegar dressing which is yummy, and they have Wholly Salsa which is really good. I also bought some organic baby puffs that were on sale 2/$5 which is about the same as Gerber and they had more AND they were organic!
Any other good buys to get up to that $5 mark?
