Earth Fare is launching a new rewards program that looks pretty neat.  They’re calling it Tomato Bank and you’ll use your phone number as your Tomato Bank ID.

When you first enter your phone number to sign up you’ll receive 1,000 points (which equals a $10 credit!!) to start.

Use your Tomato Bank ID each time you check out to rack up more points that you can then redeem at the register to take money off your bill.

You can earn points through a variety of ways like shopping, using coupons, and others.

Here’s more info on the Tomato Bank program. I’m thinking head in with your green bags each week to redeem their coupon and that should give you 15 points (5 for putting in your ID, 5 for the bags, 5 for the coupon). Then on your 7th visit, you’ll have a $1 reward. It’s not a lot, but better than nothing!

My math might be off, but 15 points per visit at 7 visits is 105 points which is $1 not 10.

      • Nope, your math is good. I just got a little too excited :)

        • tryett

That’s ok, it is a wonderful deal!

At our EarthFare in Charleston, you can use the email coupon and the text coupon in the same transaction so you could get up to 20 points per visit which would be $1 per 5 visits.

I didn’t get a text coup when I signed up – can you tell me how you are receiving those. I would love to be a part of that!

Text the word EAT to 71700.

did these deals earlier today. but couldn’t use the $10 credit, because the cashier said it would take 30min-1hr for it to get into the system. even so, I got my gluten free items (with coupons), a free chicken, and free goat cheese. so it was a good day!

    • Thom1977

Signed up today. Got the $10 credit and a coupon for free chicken (paper q) if I spend $10 and free goat cheese (q texted to my phone) when I spend $5. Will I be able to redeem the coupons for the chicken and cheese when I spend the $10 credit?

      • Snowski824

Where’s the chicken coupon? I get the emails but I must have missed that one.

        • Thom1977

It was a new sign up. When you sign up for the first time you are offered a coupon for a free whole chicken or veggie burger (when you spend $10). Coupon is good for a week.

I signed up online with no problems. Figure that way the points will be there when I go shopping next. :-)

In order to redeem the 1,000 pts. you earned for signing up for the Tomato Bank, do you simply put in your phone number(upon checking out at Earth Fare) (that you registered) and the $10 credit appears?

      • tori729

Yes, it will show the cashier how many points you have after you put in your phone number and then you can tell them to use your points toward your purchase.

I would also like to know about the texting coupon- How do I sign up for this? And What was the email coupon? Is this separate from the free chicken for new sign ups?
