We all have tons of Christmas decorations, but what about decorations that you could use year round to spread hope and encouragement. DaySpring has so many gorgeous home decor products that do just that. To help us prepare for Easter their products are awesome, because they all focus on the true meaning of Easter, celebrating that Christ has risen!
DaySpring sent me two sets of products to try out:
First they sent a one place setting from the “Life” dishware collection and a wooden Grace Tray (50% off right now). They are both beautiful but I am in love with the plates! We have been looking for a new set of plates for a while and didn’t really have anything in mind just knew we needed something new (it’s a long story but we got a deal in a dishwasher and our current set doesn’t fit in the washer). Seeing the plates in person the main dinner plate is massive and the size of a platter (remember the smaller your dinner plate the less you eat). So I’ve decided to use the Breakfast plate (red) as our dinner plate and the dessert plate (black) as a salad plate.
The main reason I love them is how colorful they are and what is printed on them. The plates either have John 10:10 printed around the edge:

Or they have Life written in over 15 languages.
The other items they sent were books and a DVD for kids that are part the Really Woolly line. These products are made just for kids to help kids understand the gospel. One thing I love about this line is that it tells the story, then says where the complete story is in the Bible. This way it is more connected to Scripture and as my girls get older they will know where to look to learn more information. You can also go online to ReallyWoolly for games, downloads, party ideas, videos and more.
DaySpring also has recordable storybooks that are part of the Really Woolly line! I’m becoming a poster child for recordable books (stay tuned for why).

I was just spending far too much time on Dayspring yesterday! I have little kids and so some of the Really Woolly line is probably already going to be making it to our house… love the dishes, but can't quite justify purchasing them- yet- since we have little kids :) Maybe the wooden grace tray. Thanks, now I will be spending far too much time looking back through the Dayspring stuff to see what I missed. I bought some great stuff from them at Christmas and love that I can shop (or window shop) online without the hassle of a stroller and three kids in tow!!

I would love the plates because we(I) have a bad habit of accidentally dropping my plates and they break so my current set went from feeding 8 to about 5 1/2 – it makes it hard to have friends for dinner unless I use paper/plastic which isn't good for the environment. Reason #2 that I would love to have the plates is that I am hosting a table at my church's Mother's day luncheon in a few weeks and I am dreading buying a whole new set just for the occasion. It would be perfect to have the plates for the occasion especially since it's for church and the bible verse would be so unique for the occasion.

I would love the breakfast plate for several reasons. One: Our kitchen is read and black and it would match perfectly. Two: Our pastor always says that our hunger for food is a reminder from God that we will never be fully satisfied apart from Christ. He is the only One that gives true life that always fills. I would love to have to have the plates. I lost my dad unexpectedly almost 3 months ago and he was a very Christian man. He and I shared with each other a lot of thoughts and readings about the Lord. When I had my doubts, he was there to remind me of what matters – more or less my spiritual reminder. I love any items with scripture…it reminds me of my time with dad and his love for the Lord and his beliefs that I was so lucky to have him pass on to me.

We just moved to GA from TX and I would love some Day Spring Easter Cards. I already posted, but would like to say that I cook many cakes and give them to shut-ins or friends who might be having a hard time. I use cake plates as a way to share the gospel. When I can find them that have scripture or a saying that sends a good message. These would be great for this use.

I love that one of them has “life” written around them in different languages, my family motto is “one life to live” and I like having things around that remind us of that. It's a good way to remember and motivate yourself to live life to the fullest and appreciate every day that comes along because although mistakes are part of it, we only have one shot at it so you'd better take advantage of the time you have while you have it….that kind of ties in with the recordable story books. I'm trying to get everyone in my life to record one for my daughter, my grandmother passed away just after Easter last year and I wish i had a memento for my daughter like that from her, so no more mistakes.

I love the reallywooly concept. I did not grow up knowing about Jesus …. I am just learning who he was and what he did. I want my daughter to know … so I've been taking her to church and Sunday school since she was old enough to understand. She's 8 years old now and is so precious. She loves to hear Bible stories and I am so proud of all she's learned and who she is.

The recordable storybook is a great idea. I would love to have my 3 girls read and record to send to their grandparents who live out of state.
All of it sounds great! My son is a sponge right now for anything to do with the bible so the ReallyWooly items sound great. Plus, pretty much all of our family lives out of state so the Recordable Storybook would be a great idea too.
