Free Year of ShopRunner
Update: It looks like they are having problems with the page, so this may take some effort to get.

Shoprunner is an awesome tool for getting a year’s worth of free shipping at lots of online retailers like ToysRUs, Drugstore.com and others.

Today they are offering the first 10,000 new members to like their Facebook page a 1 year membership for free! (normally $79 or $30 if you can find it on a Daily Deal site)

You don’t have to give them any payment info, just sign up and get free 2 day shipping at lots of sites for the next year!

    • I called to have my mom do it since I can’t access FB right now and she wasn’t able to do it. Has anyone actually been able to? If they have 20k+ likes right now, surely some of those were from before this promo…

      It worked for me, but I had to enter my credit card info.  Then, I went to my accounts page and chose “cancel auto-renew” so I don’t have to remember to cancel after my free trial.

      It worked for me too!  They have  spot to enter you credit card info, but it is not required, so I didn’t enter that info.  I’m so exicted!

      Finally got through…If you click on “Why are we asking for this?” next to Payment Information it states that entering your credit card information is *completely optional*…I elected not to enter my information and got the free membership just fine.

      Finally got it!! Had to click ‘activate’ about 20 x’s after filling out all the info. I did not enter any CC info.But it finally went thru!! YEAH!! Thanks Jenny!

      I finally got it to work!  Now can someone let me know how it works?  I tried to go to the website to look at some info but the whole site is having problems.  Do you have to go through shoprunners’s page to get the free shipping or can you still go through your rewards web site and still get the free shipping?

      I got one thank you.  How it works when you go shopping online any store that offers shoprunner will show at the end in the cart. Then you log in from the link in the shopping cart and the shipping changes to 0.00 dollars.  Two day free shipping, free returns, tracking.  You can add up to 4 members on your household account.  Hope this helps until there site settles downs.

      I called the customer service line to see if mine went threw b/c they took 0.00 out on my bank statement but i didn’t get email. She said it sounded like it went through but however there whole system is down and for me to call back in like 2 hours and she can check for me lol

        Happened to me too.  SIgn out (even if it appears that you are NOT signed in; weird but it works), refresh page and sign back in with your original password.

      I’m actually really frustrated with Shoprunner and their lack of response to questions about whether all 10K memberships have been claimed or not. I’ve been trying to get through oh, forever now, and still no luck.

      I do have to say that their inability to handle the server load (which their IT department could’ve tested for in advance, by the way) with this offer hardly inspires confidence in their service. If they can’t take on a surge of traffic for this, what happens on something like Cyber Monday? I’ve already seen one Shoprunner member complaining that they can’t even log into the site to shop.

      Poor job of handling this, Shoprunner.

      dont be an idiot like me… I finally got the page to load where you enter your info… and I did and clicked on the button for like 45 mins with error error error error… decided to refresh page… DON’T DO IT!!!!  now it won’t connect me back to that page… server error server error… so now don’t even have a chanc

      although I would LOVE to get this as I have just discovered online shopping this year and had to pay 12 dollars for shipping for my son’s halloween costume.. .so I could imagine this would save me money next year… after having devoted over an hour to this already… I have decided that the clicking weill cease at 11:15 no matter the result… and I will go back to doing something more productive with my time…. like looking on PINTEREST! LOL

          Each time I got an error, I would click the activate membership button and after about 5 tries a box popped up that said something like start shopping now, when I clicked on that I received a whole error page but when I checked my e-mail there was my confirmation!

      I just received my free membership!  Keep clicking on the FB button and you’ll get a form to fill out for your free membership. Click on “ACTIVATE MEMBERSHIP” button.  It might take a couple of attempts but I was successful in less than 5 minutes after filling out the form. Good luck and enjoy!

      According to their FB wall, you can send an email to to their promotion email address (see the posting for the exact email address) with your name and email, then they will send you a promotional code good for a one year membership. This will avoid having to waste more time refreshing the page and wondering if it has gone through. HTH!

      I got to the form page, but now it is telling me “this action is currently unavailable, try again later.” Do I have to fill out the payment section? I thought Jenny said we don’t have to provide that part. Is that why it isn’t working?

        No, it’s not because of the CC info. It did that to me. I hit submit several times until it went through. – At exactly the same times as I was emailing them as someone suggested below.

      Just got it too.  I filled out the page & then literally had to hit submit 6 times before it worked.  The previous 5 times said “this action is not available, please try again later.”  …. keep trying & you WILL get it!  Yay!

      YAY! It finally went through for me too! I too had to keep hitting the submit button repeatedly (I’d say 10+ times) before it went through. Don’t give up! :) I think lots of people are, because there’s no way I would still be in the first 10,000 people by now. :)

      As an accommodation, we are going to allow people to still send us their name and email address to Promo@ShopRunner.com through midnight PST tonight. Please know for those sending your email address between now and midnight you will NOT get your PIN code email until Monday. Please do not post your email address.
