Save 50% on a night out at the movies with today’s one day sale on Plum District (yet another daily deal site).  This sale takes you right to the source, unlike some from other sites that had you go through three steps to claim fandango tickets.

Buy your certificate, get your code later tonight and hop onto Fandango and pick your movie!

The fine print:

There are no restrictions, you can even see IMAX and 3D films.  Codes are redeemable as soon as the deal ends tonight.  You do not have to use all four tickets at the same time.  Codes expire in 30 days.

    • Mecole

I emailed Dreamerpass.com and they responded that you have until November 8 at midnight EST to redeem your code and then you have 30 days beyond that to use the actual movie tickets. Also, I did not have to pay a convenience fee on Fandango to redeem the codes. Hope this helps everyone!

    • Jalonzo

The tickets are ONLY good for 30 days, so don't overbuy! I got some though! YAY. Thanks

    • Email_laurentorres

Is it a gift certiicate for 4 tix? Do you have to choose your movie/s today? I know my family wants to see Megamind in Nov.(within the 30 day period), so I won't need them until later on. :)

    • Sunny

Hey, it says “Redeemable as soon as the deal closes” and then says “Once voucher is redeemed, your codes are valid for 30 days” – I wonder how long you can wait before you redeem it? I mean, a week could get you into the holidays.

      .

Disney's Tangled (The new Rapunzel story) comes out on Nov. 24th. – Megamind comes out Nov. 5th – Harry Potter comes out Nov. 19th

    • Jaimelweaver

It says they are good for 30 days once the purchase code is REDEEMED… so does that mean that as long as I don't redeem the code that I could wait and use them a little later?

    • Motcmom

Thanks! Just got mine, and it will only let you buy one set of 4.

    • Cbsprice

When I look at the details…It says SUBSCIPTION. So i guess now i have to REDEEM & THEN CANCEL???

      • LD

this is posted right on plum district site under the terms . dreampass must work like the weekly cinima one

“Purchasers do not have to subscribe to DreamerPass for this introductory offer ”

    • LD

Yes it is a little short to use by 30 days for 4 tickets, I think you can hang on to the code for a while though. . We dont use that many very often. Only 2 at a time and we dont go to kids movies anymore so we might go every couple of months .

But what I am wondering about does any one know about the Dreamweavers site you go through ? That one is new to me

      • LD

LOL I meant to ask about DreamerPass site not dreamweaver .

    • Lisa

I went and the deal was already closed ;(

      • beth

for anyone wanting to get the movie tickets deal, you can still get it on the http://www.dreamerpass.com website by doing a monthly subscription and can cancel it anytime they have 3 for $16.99 and 4 for $22.99 and 5 for $30.99 and 6 for $35.99 which (unless you are going to a matinee) is cheaper than buying at the ticket window. So still a good deal imho

    • Donette9

I registered, but when I try to purchase the tickets I get kicked off the website. Any suggestions?

    • Momasita

      It just worked for me.

    • Jay Pea

I'm in Georgia, but not Atlanta. Will I still be able to use these?

    • Rnhwall

When do u get the code? It says I made a purchase and gave me a ticket #. Is that the number i use?

    • Jdmcarlin

Doesn't Fandango charge a convenience fee-$1.50 per ticket when choosing a movie and redeeming the code?? I just checked out the fandango site and I believe it does!! If so, that makes it $7.75 per ticket which is more than the matinee price at most theatres!

      • CHI

I have gotten three different offers from other sites like this one and when you redeem the code fandango doesn't charge the 1.00 fee.

BUT once I got a free ticket on the fandango site (sign up for a free trial of some music company and get a free ticket), on this instance they did charge the 1.00 fee.

      • NC_angel

But a matinee 3D movie is more like $10, plus it includes IMAX movies $12, hopefully like Harry Potter coming out Nov 19th. So basically, only consider the deal if you have a specific IMAX or 3D movie in mind.

    • Carol-young

I've never used Fandango, so need a little more information. What do actually recieve when you do this – a code? Then what do you receive when you redeem the code? Printable tickets?

      • Mecole

you can print the tickets right from your computer. I have used Fandango in the past and it's very easy to use.

    • Mecole

You have until Nov 9 midnight PST to redeem your code and then 30 more days to actually use the tickets. They originally told me Nov. 8 but sent another email stating it's actually Nov. 9. So you actually have until December 9 at midnight to use the tickets you buy.

    • Guest

I would make sure your near a theater that is on Fandango as not all of them are. I have seen better deals for movie tickets also prices keeping going up on movie deal we went from 4 for 15 now to 23. I can bet next time will be 30 bucks.

Your movie code has always covered the fee they charge on Fandango.

    • bootsie

It looks like there are restrictions on the most popular movies because local theaters (Birmingham, AL) restrict “passes” to those movies. Does this mean we cannot use the tickets for those movies?

    • Unhappy

Is anyone having problems getting the email to redeem their tickets?? I still have not received mine but the money was taken out of my bank account. I have emailed them twice and still no response.

      • Beth

I got an email, but you dont need the email to redeem to get the codes for fandango. Just log in to your account with plum district and click on my account. then you will see under “my deals” the $23 voucher. Click on view voucher and you will see a ticket number. click on the link to redeem the voucher at http://www.dreamerpass.com/voucher and there is where you will enter in your voucher code you got. Once you have done that, you will get 4 different codes to use on fandango.com. Hth.
