Due to E. coli contamination Farm Rich has announced the voluntary recall of several of their products. This recall is in regard to all food produced in the Waycross, Georgia facility stamped with the “best by” date from 1/1/2013 – 9/29/2012. Items not included on this list were produced elsewhere and should not be effected by the E. coli threat.

Recalled Items:

Mini Quesadillas
Mini Pizza Slices
Mozzarella Bites
Philly Cheese Steaks
Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers

      The best buy dates should be 1/1/13 through 9/29/14.

      The Mozzarella BITES are recalled, not the Mozzarella Sticks. Just thought I’d point that out to anyone reading the list and reading ‘bites’ as ‘sticks’ (as I did). That’ll save you some time and hassle. :) Thank you Jenny for posting this.
      Oh, also…even if you have recently eaten those items on the recall list, as long as you cooked them completely, you should be ok. Obviously, you are going to want to dispose of those that you still have and haven’t eaten that are on the list and not chance it.
