2009_upromise-ecoupons250x250Upromise has loaded their February eCoupons. They have over $45 dollars in coupons this month. Load them now and have them saved for any purchases during the month!

These are a little different than the other e coupons:

  • You can use them at almost any store!
  • The money does not come off at the register but is put into your Upromise account.
  • Load as many coupons as you want, there is no limit.

Why use Upromise eCoupons?
Normally when you buy something that gives you money back for college it gives you .03 -.10 cents. With the eCoupons you are
significantly increasing the amount saved.  If you are already buying these items, you might as well get a little something extra!!

Can I use a coupon too?
Yes! These are not tied to coupons or discounts in the store.

I don’t have a kid…
Not a problem. We had a Upromise account for almost 2 years before our kids were born. Once we had kids we went in and changed it our of our names to our kids names. Grandparents can also sign up and have it go to their grandchildren! We have 3 sets of grandparents all saving a little bit for our kiddos. You can change the beneficiary at any time.

So with the $1 Fisher Fusions upromise coupon & the $1 printable you listed for coupons.com…. I bet that makes them free. Although, these do go BOGO fairly often so maybe I’ll wait till the end of the month & see :)!

These coupons are credited to your account after you purchase them using a credit or debit card you linked to your account? Since we use cash only I won’t ever get credited for the items I purchase, right?

      • Amy B.

Nope, you can use cash. You get credit after scanning your key tag linked to your account (like a shopper card). Publix has a key tag you can pick up at CS since they don’t use a shopper card.

      • Amanda

You also give them shopper’s club card numbers. It is actually through those that you get credit for using e-coupons. Upromise is much more than getting a coupon amount added to your account from time to time or credit for buying other participating groceries. I find using the site for getting credits from groceries and e-coupons is pretty piddly, but every little bit counts. It was even more so before they added e-coupons. However, Upromise is just like ebates and even better. They give you credit for shopping online through their site, for dining at certain restuarants, on travel and for even buying a home or car. And if you choose to use their credit card you get 1% back on everything. I pay off my monthly balance, so I find regularly getting that credit in my account is nice. 1% is not huge, but many cash back credit cards (Discover) offer up to 1% after like $3000 in purchases or something (fine print). I don’t spend that, so I only use my Discover on the special month to month 5% shopping promotions. Even if you don’t use their credit card, getting in on the online shopping or getting cash back for buying a home is worth it. I also use Ebates, but I check to see who has the higher cash back for online purchases first. You can get a little with groceries and ecoupons, but you will see more rewards with the online cash back and their credit card. I have not tried the dining yet, but your credit is on tax and tip, which is even more of a bonus!

          Thanks for the info!

    • Toni

Publix told me that they do not have a shoppers card and did not have anything to give to me for the Upromise account, so how do I get credit at Publix?

If you load a Upromise eCoupon, but buy 5 of the items (for example), do you get the coupon contribution x 5 or only once?
