Here are the deals at Food Lion that start tomorrow 3/11. There are coupon matches, but nothing that is really exciting, if only they doubled coupons!! If you see anything I missed let me know! Check out the current printables before shopping. Look for new printables tomorrow morning.

Remember:
1. Check with your local store about B1G1 items. Ask “Are you required to buy 2, or will they each ring up at half price?”
2. Most Food Lion stores do not double coupons.
3. If you do a B1G1 deal, use 2 coupons if they will let you.
4. You can stack a FL printable or other store coupon with manufacturers coupons.

Wow! what a pork/charcoal deal! I was in FL today for the yogurt and some of their vlassic pickles are on close-out
Also there is a .75/1 wet ones q in Feb All You to help with this deal! They also had some Glad items on the discount table to look for.

    • kim

there is a dollar off food lion coupon for hidden valley dressing which can be the other item on the pork and charcole deal.

    • Lana

There is a $1 FLIP on a bag of Doritos that will make them $1 a bag.

    • michelle

Jenny….I printed the Dry Idea coupons you listed here and my Walgreens had it on clearance for 2.29…my oop was .29….thank you!

    • I was wondering what you thought about something, Jenny: I have the coupons from Pepsi from the rebate. I have 4 or 5 $2 off a pepsi product. This week they are 3/$9 plus get one free. I could get 4/$3. Now, my question is this: do you think that is good or should I wait to see if there is an ECB or RR because I am pretty sure those would be better deals. Then again… we just don’t drink a lot of soday. I wonder if I could get some free — the liter or $2 liter bottles, plus aren’t there some FLIPs for those? Anyway, what are your thoughts?

Thanks for all of your awesome work!

I just got back from Food Lion and did the pork/charcoal deal. I wanted to point out that the charcoal on sale for $5.99 is the 7.5 pound bag. In order to use the coupons, you have to buy the 13.5 bag which was on sale for $10.99 before coupon. So total for charcoal/pork/other item (I chose Hidden Valley Ranch) was about $15.65. Still an awesome deal! Thanks for all you do Jenny!

    • kim

The charcoal on sale for $5.99 is the smaller bag. Coupon for 13.5 oz bag which is on sale for $9.99. I could not use both coupons for same transaction. Charcoal and pork.

    • Jenny

      Delores,

If you aren’t desperately needing the soda I would hold off for a RR or ECB deal to use the coupons personally. You could do pretty good on 2 liters if the stores don’t give you are hard time about the coupon being for more than the product. If they try to mark down the coupon though quickly stop and don’t get the items!

      are these the new printables

    • thanks!

    • George

Healthy Choice on sale …5/$10…nearly 1/2 price.
      Are there any coupons ?

    • Hi- I am pretty new to “couponin” and I must say I am IMPRESSED by the savings! I look forward to shopping and really appreciate your site with your super helpful tips.

I saw a “plan of action” so to speak that you were palnning on using this week for CVS – I was wondering if you could possibly publish more lists like that for maybe Walgreens and Publix. Sometimes I feel like I am flying blind but with a list I could go step by step :)
      Thanks again :)

The Food Lion in Mt. Pleasant, SC refused to honor the $6 off pork coupon when I bought a 13.5 lb. bag of Kingsford Matchlight ($10.99 w/ MVP card, $7.99 w/ Food Lion store coupon) and 24 oz. bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch (3.99 w/ MVP card, $2.99 w/ Food Lion store coupon).

The cashier claimed that because I already used the $3 off charcoal Food Lion store coupon, I could not additionally use the $6 off pork manufacturer coupon. This claim was confirmed by the manager on duty.

This made my total over $11 for the charcoal and salad dressing (not a very great deal), and I left without the boneless pork chops priced at $6.01

Just a heads up for Mt. Pleasant/Charleston area Southern Savers. In the future I will probably just bring all my FL coupons to Publix, which is where I do 80% of my shopping anyway, and have never had similar problems.

I used the Charcoal coupon for the 8lb bad and it worked. So it was on sale for 5.99 and the 3.00 coupon made it 2.99 (3.29 with tax)!!! You also can get the 18lb bag. It is on sale for 8.99 and use the 3.00 coupon and make it 5.99 a bag. I works out that you get more for your money if you buy the big bag (18lb) instead of two little bags (only 16lb).

I had a really bad experience at Food Lion last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May never shop there again!!!!!!!!!!! When I tried to use the $6 off pork coupon – they REFUSED MY COUPON!!!!!!!!! and even went so far as to claim that it was COUNTERFIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so angry at the accusation – that I may them refund my money for the Pork, Charcoal, and Ranch Dressing and demanded they give me back my coupons!!!! Just trying to save some money and not be treated as a criminal. SHAME ON FOOD LION
