      Thanks!!!!

    • Thanks for typing all that up! You can't imagine the time you save me each week!

    • SB

Just an FYI, the Grill mates do not work for the catalina. I bought 2 yesterday at Kroger and did not get a catalina. I had read that someone called, checked and said that it is only on extracts, food colorings, ect. Not sure. Worth checking into though.

      • thanks for the heads up!

      • kelli

I'm not sure it you're talking about my comment or not but I did call like 2 weeks ago and I was told that it's just on food coloring and extracts.

I had read on another website that someone was getting them from buying cinnamon, so when I bought cinnamon and didn't get one, I called. They were super nice and friendly but told me that it was just the the food coloring and extracts. The woman that I spoke to told me that the machine must've been programed wrong.

        • kelli

clarification: the machine that was printing the CAT for cinnamon was programed wrong.

        • Faye

          Hi Kelli or Jenny,

I hope someone can help me. I printed Jenny's list of current catalinas and tried the McCormick deal at Kroger. The catalina didn't print so I visited customer service and asked the manager about it. She wanted to know where I saw the catalina publication. I told her it was posted on my favorite coupon website. She tried to call someone to verify the catalina but couldn't get through. This manager ended up giving me $5.00 in cash and apologized for the problem. I was astounded!

Now that I read the “Grill Mates” aren't included, I feel like a thief because this is what I bought. I'm going back to Kroger tomorrow and tell the manager I made a mistake and try to giver her the money back.

My question is this: Is there a website or a telephone number I can contact prior to making a purchase to verify I'm buying the correct items?

Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks :) Faye

          • kelli

Hey Faye – Unfortunately you can’t call and confirm a deal before hand. I tried that once and I was told that there are way too many deals to check for every person that calls. You can call or email Catalina Marketing if you believe that you should’ve gotten a coupon that you didn’t get. The phone number is (877) 210-1917 and the email is coupon@catalinamarketing.com.

As for websites to check information on the Cat deals, Food Lion actually has the deals that they are currently offering on their website (http://www.foodlion.com/ShoppingTools/CashBack). As far as I know, Kroger does not have anything like this listed on their site.

            • Faye

              Kelli,

Thanks so much for the information. I printed it and will keep it on hand. I do shop Food Lion sometimes so I'll check their Cat deals there before shopping.

I really appreciate your helpful answers :)

              Faye

    • Ashlan10

If you become a fan of Huggies on FB, there is a post reminding us to print the $3 off with a link to a bricks coupon. I was surprised when it worked because I reached my print limit for the $3 coupons on Coupons.com

    • Lauren

I found two tearpads offering a $6 MIR on purchase of $10 worth of fresh or frozen seafood. Both were on on beer displays (Bud Light Wheat & some other brand I can't remember)
This was at the Creedmoor Road Food Lion in Raleigh NC.
I plan to pair it with the tuna steaks sale.

      • megan10

Is this $6 off instantly…what is MIR?

        • mary

MIR= Mail In Rebate, so it's not instant

    • BeverlyB

Jenny, do you (or anyone else) know if Food Lion “stacks” store coupons w/manu coupons? I don't shop there often, but might just go in this week to get some baby formula. But their store coupon for Enfamil says “no other coupon may be used with this coupon”. It would be crazy if they don't take a manu coupon on top of store coupon, but does anyone know their official store policy (or where I could print out the policy and take it in with me just in case it's an issue)??

      • bridget

Like you, I only go to Food Lion for the baby deals – and yes, I have stacked their store coupons with Huggies coupons, both the FLIPs and printable store coupons from the Food Lion website. I have done multiple times without trouble. Got to get those good deals on formula where ever you can!

        • BeverlyB

Bridget, Thanks for your response! Do you usually buy several formulas at once? The coupon also states “one coupon per transaction, per customer, and per purchase of sprcified products.” i really need to stock up on formula! Does this mean I can only buy 1 can per visit w/coupon? Or do you buy multiples? This will be my first time buying formula from FL, so I'm really wondering.

          • kelli

Food Lion's official policy is to no longer allow stacking. Some stores still allow it but from what I've read, most don't. The registers at my store doesn't allow it anymore, so they would have to get approval to push it through.

Officially the coupons are one per customer, per purchase, per day (or something like that)…. you can usually do back to back transactions to use more than one in a day but most of the time they won't allow you to use more than 1 in the same transaction.

            • BeverlyB

              Thanks, Kelli! That's helpful. Maybe I'll try to stack and see if my particular store allows it. If not, I won't make a big deal out of it, and will just use my manu coupon. This is yet one more reason I don't like shopping at Food Lion, but I really need formula and it's the only store running a sale on it right now. :-}

      • The do not stack coupons. It is one of the reason I dislike shopping there but since it is the only store in town then I usually just buy sales.

      • Meme

I heard a man in line behind me asking if he could use more than one store coupon as he wanted to buy more than the limit of items. The cashier said he could but in separate transactions. So that may be a way to handle the situation. I'm not familiar with the baby formula offer so I don't know if this would help. FL also stacked my coupons on their store coupons. This FL is located on Hwy 24 in Anderson, SC.

    • Melanie

I just went to Food Lion today (4/6) and the Snuggle fabric softener was on sale for $2.99. I had a $3 off 1 coupon from the Sunday paper which made it free! Yippee!

      • Logibearsmommy

Yes, I bought 6 bottles yesterday for 1.60 after tax! You can't beat that!

      • erincolleen

Where did you find the fabric softener coupon in the paper? All I could find was a P&G ad — was it from the week before? I'd love to get this deal!!

    • Molly

      I have a question!!
Is Food Lion doing the Kelloggs Catalina Deal where you buy 7 boxes of Cereal and get 3 free gallons of milk?? If so then this would be a good deal with the $1.50 Kellogs on Saturday.
Also, there was a coupon in the 3/28 SS for $1.50 off 2 Kellogs Corn Flakes or other cereals..

      • Lana

I know it will be at Bi-Lo but it doesn't start until 4/17 there.

      • mary

yes! i just purchased 4 special k's today and got a catalina for a free milk… i think if you purchase 5-6 boxes of kellog's you get 2 free milks, and if you purchase 7 or more you get 3 free milks! All cereal must be purchased in the same transaction.

      • jaimeech

I have a catalina showing that deal, dates 3/19-4/10, 3-4 boxes–1gal on next purch, 5-6 boxes–2gal on next purch, 7+ boxes–3gal on next purch.

      • Megan

I bought 3 boxes of cereal of the special K today and got the free milk. Man 5 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk for 1.25 is fantastick.

        • Jennifer

Can you tell me what kinds of cereal were included in the sale? Was it the granola?

          • heather

Not sure…but I think it was any kind of Kelloggs cereal. If so, I'm seeing 4 boxes of granola cereal @ 10.00 – 5.00 inst sav. – 2.00Q (x2) = $1.00 for 4 boxes, plus 1 free gallon milk!! yippee! ……. right????

            • heather

bummer…apparently the granola cereal is not a part of the deal:(

            • Erin B

the granola coupons worked for me for the non=granola special Ks. Food Lion paid me $2 to take 4 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk!

    • lili77

help!!! i can't get the McCormick coupon to come up. i tried the zip 45345 it says , and several others, can anyone post a link for me please
      thanks so much
i need some of thos darn spices…ha ha

      • kelli

yes, if anyone finds it, please help! I'd love to get some cheap mccormick but I can't find the coupon.

    • Katherine

our Breakfast Sale is a 3 day sale that begins Friday at 8 am. There was also a deal where if you buy Kraft 16 oz american singles for $3.39 then you get 8 oz Kraft Deli Deluxe Cheese free

    • Chrissy

Just a heads up about Food Lion – I very rarely go in there because of the “no doubling” coupon policy and the horrible customer service. I went in today to get the Maxwell House deal (buy 5, get $5 off). Before doing my shopping, I asked the Manager if I could use 5 store coupons for the same product in one transaction. She said I could. Of course, I get to the register and the cashier said I couldn't do this. The cashier called the Manager over – at which point, she said she had been wrong in the first place and that I couldn't use the 5 store coupons in one trans. I wouldn't have pressed the issue had she not told me I could do that. I simply told her (in a nice, yet firm, way) “You told me I could use the coupons, now please override it.” She did it, but I will never go in there again unless they're giving food away free. I'm curious – how has everyone else's experience been at Food Lion?

      • Lana

My Food Lions are great and it is the easiest place to use coupons in town-wishg they doubled though.

      • RebeccaFer

I live in Charlotte and I very rarely shop at FL. There is one on the corner of Mallard Creek & Prosperity Church Road that is ok but I have only done transactions that should be smooth, such as buying the Snuggle fabric softener for $3 when it's $2.99. However, once last year, I did a transaction with Kellogg's cereal that would give $5 off a transaction when I bought a certain amount of cereals. I had qs that made the cereal free plus I had a q for $1 off produce when I bought any Kellogg's cereal. It was insanely difficult for them to understand and then allow me to use those coupons together. I did four of those transactions back to back (absolutely no one was in the store because it was 30 minutes to closing time) and I had three employees there, including the assistant manager clucking over what I was doing. At once point, the assistant manager said, “You are every cashier's worst nightmare.” I was seriously offended and I guess she could tell because she said she was just joking. Man, ask people to do their job and it's like you're the enemy! I wasn't too fond of that FL before and I'm not exactly jumping up and down to go into still but if there's a good deal to be had (Snuggle) then I'll take a chance.

      • curtisa

I really don't care for Food lion. I have had the same experience that you had. Once when I gave them a coupon they went and looked in this secret book like I stole something. It was wierd. When the cashier returned and entered my coupon she saw I got a $14.99 item for $1.99 after closeout and coupon, her smile turned into a frown. But at least I was happy. I only go there for extreme deals and or free items.

      • Megan

Oh I love FL, they are always super nice to me. I have had problems with coupons at every other store but them. I mainly go to the one in my hometown and the cashiers generally know me and they are sooo nice and always get excited about the amount I save and many have started using this site because of me. I have even heard one of the cashiers passing on teh tip to a customer after me the other day. Sorry you guys have have bad experences. Maybe you can find another store that is friendlier.

      • Michelle

I had problems with coupons at FL recently. The manager was nice enough to override the system, but her coupon lingo was way off so it was apparent that she didnt' understand her own coupon policy. The problem was for the 1 off fresh fruit when you buy Kellogg's cereal, I had used a q for the cereal, and she said that the coupon for fruit was for the cereal and that would be doubling? I've never had a problem doing a similar scenario at any other store, so I am hesitant to use too many coupons at FL.

        • RebeccaFer

That's the exact coupon I was using in my comment above. I had to point out over and over that the dollar came off of the fruit when I was buying the Kellogg's cereal and it wasn't coming off of the cereal. She kept telling me I was wrong that I couldn't use them both because I was doubling. I said, “how can I use it then if I don't buy what it's requiring me to buy?” She was totally grumpy after that but “allowed” me to use it.

Still, she doesn't even come close the the RA manager (I love RA though) that told me I had to buy 4 shampoos to use the B1G1 coupon! It wasn't even on sale and she told me I couldn't buy one and get one free. I argued that for about five minutes with everyone around me shaking their head like I was talking to a brick. I eventually left, drove four miles to the next RA and got both bottles with the B1G1. (The q expired that night and I was trying to get a MIR fulfilled with it.) I can't stand incompetence like that, especially in management.

      • Angie

I went to FL the other night and bought Pedigree dog food and treats. I had a manuf q for $2 off food and $1 off treats. I bought exactly what was on the coupon, but the register wouldn't let me use both coupons. There were only two lanes open (6:45pm) and lines were backed way up, so I just told the cashier to void the treats. These kinds of things seem to happen quite a bit at FL, so I usually only go there when there's an amazing deal.

    • Meme

Just a reminder for anyone who cut out the box coupons for Special K products. There was one for $1 off wyb both Special K cereal and Special K Protein Shakes. Another one was $1 off wyb both Special K cereal and Special K cereal bars. I think there was another one for cereal and crackers, but I think I used that one. These aren't as good a savings and the other coupons listed, but a good time to use them if that is all you have available. They don't expire until the last day of the year, though, so there may be a better sale to use them on. Just thought I would mention the coupons.

    • carrieblee

My food lion on lawrenceville suwanee rd. has strawberries for 99 cents.

    • madpaulmom

I just got back from a quick trip for milk at FL. They have a brand spankin' new coupon machine!!! Just like the ones in CVS. You scan your MVP card and it printed out 6 coupons! The coupons were for Nestle's chocolate candy (2), FL water, some brand of chicken (cant remember the brand, FL soda and pork products. This thing made my day. I really need a life lol

      • madpaulmom

I have to reply to myself. Another good thing about these coupons…they are on an 8.5×11 page and they are perforated for easy use. I think the machine also gives recipes. I have seen the recipe machines at Bloom before, but not coupons :)

        • That's awesome, I wonder if they are installing these coupon machines in all their stores, I'll have to check next time I go to Food Lion.

      • HeatherRS

I'm like you…coupons make me way too excited!

      • RebeccaFer

That sounds very interesting! Where are you located? I wonder if you're a test market for this or if it's coming out to all the stores eventually. Hmmm. Good to know! :D

      • Cathy

Where is this machine located in the store??? I am intrigued!!

        • madpaulmom

I am in Concord, NC. This is the store at Poplar Tent and George Liles. The machine is right inside the door as you walk in (where the lottery thing used to be). As I was looking over the coupons, I now see that all but one expired yesterday, the same day I got them. The sheet says that the offers are valid for today's shopping trip. I might just have to shop daily there to see ;) I guess I should clarify too, all but one were store coupons. Only one mfg coupon, but it doesnt expire until 5/30..

Omg goodness. I'm not too far from Concord. I hope they have it at my FL. That would definitely make my day!

            • laura

I went to the china grove one today and they had the machine there

          • RebeccaFer

That's good to know! I'm in Highland Creek, not too far from that FL. In fact, we go to Rosario's Pizzeria sometimes. I'll have to check it out when we go next. :D

            • madpaulmom

              mmmmm….Rosarios Pizza. The best!

      • Lana

We've had them in the Spartanburg SC for maybe 6 months. The coupons are supposed to be tied to your shopping habits. It frequetly gives me diaper coupons and beer coupons-neither of which I ever buy! Sometimes you get $/$$ coupons on your shopping trip. You can use these at Publix too. These coupons are only good on the day you print them though.

        • RebeccaFer

I wonder if HT or Bi-Lo would take those too. I know the FL madpaulmom mentioned is right across the street from HT. If I was going to HT, it would be worthwhile to pop into FL to see if I could score one of those kind of qs! :D

      • Cindyrella2

That's cool! Our FL used to have a machine like that years ago. Wonder if they'll bring it back.

Am I the only one who thinks we need to start a petition to get food lion to double?

      • RebeccaFer

I'd petition but I don't think it will do any good. I do find it interesting and maybe even promising that their other store, Bloom, is doubling. It might be that FL is seeing if this is worthwhile before they do it too.

        • beth

my local food lion manager says that doubling is in the works… i made a comment about how id shop there more if they doubled and he said that its been talked about… and it might possibly be coming soon… hopefully!!

          • RebeccaFer

Very cool and very interesting if they do. When I've gone in, I always have to remind myself that they don't double.

    • lavagirl

I love your site with all the informations. Would you ever consider getting information for the grocery store “Lowes Foods”? I would love to see this grocery store added to your list. Thanks for all the hard work – it is great.

    • Jesse

Just a note: the Special K Low Fat Granola is NOT part of this sale, or part of the $5 off promotion.

    • Jess

Normally don't do well at FL b/c they don't double but got some good deals yesterday and saved 40 bucks out of 66.00. I got 4 of the Snuggles Softners free and also got 8 Healthy Choice Dinners for 84 cents each (B1G1 and $1/2 Q). Of course today I see the coupon you can text them for off Healthy Choice but I still got a good deal!

    • Jess

Somebody asked about a list of Cats. This is the best national list I’ve found:

    • How can I get coupons from Food Lion delivered to my house? And, can you use these coupons in Publix and Kroger? THank you for the information!! Love the site!!

    • melirish

my foodlion had a closeout on huggies. 3.99 and i used 3.00 off coupon! sleal!!

      • Crystal2756

I read your comment before I went to Food Lion for the Kellogg's deal yesterday- I found the same deal! They were extremely tiny tiny packs of diapers- I bought 2 packs of size 3's and each had 14 diapers. But with the $3 off coupon making each pack 0.99cents it was definitely an awesome deal!

    • lowcountrytrends

My neighbor just told me that FL has Aqua Pods 8 ct. for $1/limit 10. I haven't read all of the posts, so someone else might have shared this already.

    • Juli

Just browsing around the Food Lion site & found where you can text to sign up for mobile savings. I sent a text to sign up & then sent 2 more text to get $4 off (2) Healthy Choice frozen entrees & for a free box of cereal. Just had to give my MVP card # once & the savings are loaded on it. Pretty cool!

Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out. http://www.foodlion.com/Current-Promotions/area

    • catherineo

You can also use the FLIP coupon on the Huggies, it is for 1.50 off. Stack that one with the $3.00 MQ and that is a sweet deal!

    • DuncanMomof2

I will be buying the Special K cereal for my MIL tomorrow. I will buy (4) @ $2.50 ea=$10 less automatic $5 that will come off & (4) $1 coupons which will bring my total to $1 for 4 boxes of cereal.

      • Guest

So I have the 4 $1 off Special K Low fat Granola coupons, will those work for any type of Special K?

        • Guest

If the coupon says it's only good for Special K granola then it's only good for Special K granola- go by the wording on the coupon. I think there are some $1 peelies on boxes of Kelloggs that DuncanMomof2 might be using….

          • DuncanMomof2

Actually these were not peelies, these $1 coupons are ones that are in select boxes of cereal. You know the kind that has a small book of coupons inside the cereal. I got mine out of Frosted Flakes boxes back when they were on sale @ Target. It is a coupon booklet totaling $5 savings on select products such as Minute Maid OJ, $1 of fresh fruit when u buy any kelloggs cereal, $1 off Special K, etc. Hope this helps!

    • annelkin

Did the Special K deal getting $5.00 back instantly. I did this twice and both times it printed out Catalina's for a free gallon of milk.

      Yeaa

    • carolyn090

does anyone know if special k granola is included .25 cereal sounds good!!!!

      • guest

Special K granola is not included; however, I used the $1 off special K low fat granola coupons on regular Special K and they accepted them. So I got 4 boxes for $1 plus the free milk!

    • ATAmom

$4.00 off 2 Healthy Choice frozen dinners loaded to MVP Card; limited to first 6000. Text CHOICE to 467467. You will receive a reply to submit your MVP number.

    • Jennifer

I found whole wheat Uncrustables (strawberry and grape flavor) for 1.49, paired with the 1.00 off printable coupon that's a really good deal for these!

    • Christie

Oh, I wish I would have scanned these 80 comments before I went to FL today! I just bought 4 boxes of Spec K Granola to get the $5 back and apparently the Granola is NOT included in the promotion! Can someone explain to me how we're supposed to know exactly which special K cereals ARE included in the promotion? In the ad it just states “selected varieties.”

    • Cathy

Hey. Does the Kellogg's catalina not include the Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes that are on sale 2/$3?? I bought 4 boxes and did not get anything. Is it only for the Special K cereals? Also I noticed that my FL had a limit of 4 boxes of cereal for the 2/$3 deal (4 box limit per purchase.) Thanks in advance :)

      • Jennifer

I bought 5 boxes of Special K, the one's that were priced 2 for $5.00. I got back 2 milk vouchers at the end of the transaction. The store flyer only showed Special K so that's what I went with and it worked.

      • Mel

Any Kelloggs cereals will count toward the catalina as long as they are 12 oz boxes. The Frosted Flakes that are on sale qualify, but the Froot Loops are only an 8 oz box and will not qualify. I screwed up my order today because of one lousy box of Froot Loops. I had seven boxes of cereal (4 Special K, two Frosted Flakes and one Froot Loop). I thought I would get back 3 milk vouchers but only got two. If I had purchased another Frosted Flakes instead of the Froot Loops, it would have worked. With the Froot Loops being the wrong size, then it was like I only had purchased six boxes of cereal and thus only qualified for two milks. Do not buy the Froot Loops if you want the catalina, it will not work! Hope this helps!

        • esynan

Hey Mel – Can you tell me where you found the details of the whole free milk thing? I went to Food Lion today, got Four 13.4oz boxes of Special K chocolatey delight cereal and I didn't get a milk coupon. Just wonder if I need to check into that, I was really hoping for some free milk. Thanks! Emily

          • Sadly the Milk catalina deal ended Sunday 4/11 :(

    • ashley

there is a new $1.50 off tgif snacks, this would make them a dollar !! whoo hoo!

    • cheryl9622

I purchased 3 McCormick Grill Mates at Food Lion. How do I get the $2.25 back? It was not on my receipt when I checked out like a coupon.

    • Louise

How can I know the % savings on the Food Lion and Piggly Wiggly lists?

    • DonnaTN

Mine had 7up for 4/5 plus you got a free reusable bag when you bought 2 and paired with the $1 coupons makes 2 2liters .50 plus a free bag!!

    • beth
