    • A few ideas to make this a better week at Food Lion…
Scott Tissue and or Bath if you still have the Earth booklet the $1 off coupons. The Kelloggs cereal; if you received a booklet at RACE WEEK in Charlotte there is a $1 off store that can be stacked with the $1 manufacturere for FREE cereal plus overage to help pay for the scott towels/tissue.

    • Julieann

Great cereal week…..all my Kelloggs $1 q’s were expiring on 5/30!

    • elaine

Do you know any stores that carry the Marcal tissue? These coupons are expiring soon and I can’t find it. THANKS

    • Lizel

      Elaine,

The Marcal Tissue is sold at Kroger and Harvey’s. I went to a local Kroger and they had the 6 pk. but no individual rolls. I am going to Harvey’s today to see if they have it. Hope this helps!

    • Teresa

also buy fl products and get up to $10 oyno
fl yogurt on sale 12 for $5

    • Just back from the store…did a three store run, but let me give you the FL deal. As I said above the CEREAL works. I purchased 8 boxes of the Kelloggs cereal and MADE $1.57…yes FL gave me CASH BACK.

    • heather

Did you notice the Food lion brand super sale? From what it says you buy 4 food lion items and get $1.00 catalina. This should make things like Food lion Brand yogurt and Kool-aid basically free or really cheap! I am going to try it today.

    • Shawn

I assume I can stack a Food Lion coupon with a manufacturer coupon….Right? If so, there are FL coupons for $1.50 off Huggies diapers to go along with the manufacturer coupon which makes it a really good deal. Am I thinking correctly???

    • Jennifer

I am loving the price on the top sirloin with the $1/$5 coupon!!

    • Shawn

I just realized the coupon is for pull-ups or goodnites…..too bad!

    • Yep you can stack em’ and now I have to go back and get more looking for a place to donate or store..I met a lady in HT today that sells on food products on EBAY..is there really a big need or want for the selling of food on EBAY? I know groceries are high…but are they that high?

    • Virginia

FL brand sale info: (from an email I received)

      May 27 – June 23, 2009
      Use your Personal MVP Card.

Purchase a minimum of 4 (maximum of 40) Food Lion Brand Products in one shopping visit. (All Food Lion Brand items are eligible except fresh meat, produce and random weight Deli/Bakery items.)

Receive up to $10 in Food Lion Coupons at checkout. Coupons are redeemable on your next shopping order. (Coupons expire 2 weeks from date of issuance.)

      4 Products = $1.00
      6 Products = $1.50
      8 Products = $2.00
      10 Products = $2.50
      20 Products = $5.00
      40 Products = $10.00

A lady on another local site that I’m a member of said she went this morning and purchased 11 FL brand items and received a $2.75 OYNO coupon. So the grouping may not be as strict as it appears.

    • Virginia

Travise there are some people who will purhcase anything and everything off of ebay to keep from having to go out to the store. Some people just like having everything delivered to them, and of course you can get some great deals on ebay that people might not know they can get with coupons. I would be weary of trying to sell food items though, I believe there may be laws or regulations that could get you into trouble…. not totally sure but I personally wouldn’t want to chance it, instead I just donate and share my extras with friends and family.

    • Virginia-

Kind of what I was thinking also. Thanks.

    • shelley

Is there a limit on how many cereals you can buy? I have lots of 1.00 off coupons that are expiring soon.

      • Jenny

There is no limit on the cereal. Enjoy getting to use those coupons!

    • Jennifer

Travise- I’m in the FM area. Do you still have coupons left from Speed Street?

    • nancy

wow, I was planning a trip to lows food they have a ad for 1.79 k cereal I am so glad I checked you all out. lol I am a big fl fan.

    • nancy

How many times can you get a oyno $10 off with purchase of fl. Also will this include the smart options and 360 home line of products.

    • Amy

Shawn – The huggies store coupon does work with the manufacturer’s coupon. The store coupon says: huggies, pull ups or goodnites, it works with all three. I have used it on the huggies diapers with a manufacturer coupon!!

    • Virginia

Nancy – from what I’ve read the deal only includes items that specifically say “Food Lion” on them, and does NOT include ‘smart options’ or ‘home 360’ etc. There’s no stated limit to how many times you can do the deal, it’s just on a per-transaction basis. Also, people have already reported buying odd numbers (not in the 4-6-8-10-20-40 grouping advertised) and getting back appropriate amounts – i.e. buying 11 items and getting back a $2.75 OYNO.

    • Jennifer C.

      Travise,
Regarding the Ebay/Food selling. I think that a lot of people from out of the country buy food like this, certain things that they love that they can’t get in the country they live in. I have noticed a lot of candy sales in the past. One time I saw a big bag of the Reese’s p-nut butter cups going for some ungodly amount of money and wondered who would pay such an amount. I checked them out and I think they were from Australia. I guess people will pay anything to get a candy fix!!

    • Jennifer in Fort Mill…yep still have some. I have a lady in TN sending me a POSTAGE paid envelope to get some …. NO FEES just to be a BLESSING!! Not sure if you are in RH often or what ya want to do…send me an email and we can work something out. travise@leavethejonesalone.com

    • Just an idea on how to work the private brand sale to help your Scott purchases…
The food lion muffin bluberry muffin mixes are already an excellent price at just 68cents. (This is the kind where you just add milk). If you use these pretty often, buy some of those, and your milk for the week (current price in our store is $3.09). Then get the catalina and go right back in for your paper towels.

      Scenario:
      5 muffin mixes
      1 milk
      $6.49
      Catalina: $1.50

Then, your paper towels are $3.49 plus tax.

Another good FL brand buy is their premium chicken nuggets, 32 oz bag for 4.99. They are high quality and my kids prefer them to most other brands. The Tyson bags are on sale, but they are smaller bags.

Just a thought! Wish I’d have thought of the yogurt.

    • I’m buying the muffins using my STORE Q for Scott towels, manufacturer and the catalina…will let you know how that goes!!!

    • Folole

Use your $1/1 Food Lion nuts to get free Food Lion roasted peanuts. The pkg size is 1.75 oz. They are .50 cents a pack.

    • Purcahsed the Blueberry FL private brand and got back $1.75 used it towards my SCOTT towels plus my $1 off manufacturer plus my $.50cents off store Q. good price…

    • nancy

where can I find the flips to help matchup with the fl Q.

    • AL

When you buy the Tyson nuggets on sale for $3.99 it prints a coupon at checkout for $2 off your next two bags of Tyson nuggets. So, that would make the next ones $3 a bag.

    • Momof2

Food Lion can be kinda of tricky. They usually will not allow you to use 2 coupons on 1 item. This is one of the stores who usually does not accept 1 store coupon & 1 manufacturer’s coupon. You have to choose between one or the other. Just a heads up!

      Food Lion Coupon Policy

Our company will gladly accept manufacturer and store coupons, provided they scan in our register system. We will however, decline the use of single-sided coupons offering a free product, a coupon that has a higher dollar amount than the products value, a competitors’ coupon, or if the coupon appears to be computer generated, copied, or reproduced. Unfortunately, we will only accept one coupon per item.
Food Lion welcomes feedback from our customers. If you have a question, concern or comment, please call our Customer Relations Department toll-free at 1-800-210-9569.

    • nancy

The huggies link is having issues anyone know where I can get the $2 off. thank you.

    • crystal

I have never had a problem with food lion accepting a store coupon with a manuf. coupon. I have had problems in the past with some of their store coupons, where they wouldn’t scan and they had to enter it n by hand. Which I found amusing because it was their own q giving them problems

    • Went back to FL today but didn’t get a catalina when i purchased just two FL brand items. Apparently 4 is the minimum. Even though I asked the cashier to be sure, they did allow me to use a manufacturer Q and a store Q on huggies.

Another good deal this week is their FL buns which are 99c with your mvp card (no signage in the store but it rings up right). Use the FL printable for $1 off 2. This will be 98c for 2 packs of buns. Do it along with another purchase of 2 FL items and you will actually be getting the buns for 58c total when your catalina prints.

My FL also has a new Q kiosk where you can print out Qs good for that day.

    • kim

i found the marcel small steps facial tissue at ingles.

    • nancy

      Jenny,
The link to the huggies is having issues. I have tryied it at home and at work. Site states that they are having problems. Thank you Or if anyone knows how to get this Q or others for huggies. I already have FL Q. I need three more. Or I will have to wait until next time.

    • Sheri in Irmo

Just went to fl and bought Planters peanuts. On sale for $2.77, used $2 off store coup, (they wouldn’t let me stack man fac too). Still, great price at .77!

    • Jennifer C.

The bags of Planter’s Trail mix are $1.79 this week, I used the $2.00 off FLIP and made 21¢.

    • Lisa

I want to do the huggies deal. I have 4 huggies Q ($2.00 off) how many FL Qs can I use? Or does the deal have to be purchesed in the same transaction to use more FL Qs? Thanks

    • Erin

I’m new to this site thanks to my SIL. Check out the FL in Ellijay tomorrow. Today when I was there they had 2 on packages of boneless skinless chicken breasts for $3 and 2 lb packages of strawberries for $2.50.

    • HOOKED up on over $50 of FREE CANDY!!!!! BOGOFree sending to school for part of end of year celebration…Kids will be so surprised and it didn’t cost on dime!!!!! • Amber Cooper

Not sure if this applies to anyone else, but in Cleveland, Tn, Food Lion has Children’s Claritin on closeout 50% off. If you go to the Claritin website, you can print off a $2 off coupon, or use the $4 off coupon for the 20 count. It makes the $10.69 (10) count box of Children’s Claritin only $3.34!! It applies to the liquid also.

    • T-TOTALLY hooked picked up 10 Planters Trail Mix and made money at the end!!!! Putting the coupon in teacher boxes for end of the year treat…Food Lion is next door to the school…I might just might pick them up for them…depends on the time in the rest of the day.
