      • Jen

I wonder if she was referring to the sausage?

    • LindaMc

Anybody need any Bestlife Buttery Spread? Food Lion has it for 0.99 this week. With the 1.00 coupon, it's free! YAY!

      • sarahinNC

where did you find the 1.00 q?

        • Niddi

The $1 Q's have been in a number of recent Sunday inserts. I cut mine out so I don't have the dates.

Has anyone tried this product yet? Is it any good?

          • Scoutmom316

It's just as good as Smart Balance, in my opinion.

          • LD

I havent tried it was going to for free because I use smart balance but alas it has milk products booo lol

          • Awbrown3

We have purchased the spread. My husband doesn't think it spreads very well on plain bread, but if you toast it, it's as good as any other.

        • Knowmyabcs

          $1/1 coupon from 5/16 or 6/13 RP
and also check Red Plum for a $1/1 coupon

What zip code as it isn't showing when I pull it up?

        • Knowmyabcs
        • LindaMc

It seems like there is a 1.00 coupon in the Sunday inserts about every other week! I think I've collected 5 since mid May. So, don't worry if you miss it now. I'm sure it'll be in a Sunday paper in the next couple of weeks. If you miss the Food Lion sale, Harris Teeter sells it for less than 2.00 and they double coupons every few weeks up to 1.98. So, it would be free then, too.

    • sreddy

      where are the baby savings??

    • Heather

has everyone else been able to stack the flip coupons with manufacturer coupons?

    • Becky

I'm just curious to see what everyone else's shopping experience at Food Lion is like. We only have two that I know of here in the south Jacksonville, FL area. I usually don't go to Food Lion because their sales aren't usually so great and their regular prices can be expensive.

However, due to Southern Savers, I have ventured over there when there was enough in one week to make it worth my trip. Three times out of three over the past six months, I have been accused of coupon fraud by the cashiers. Today, it was especially unnerving, as I was using two of the $2 Post cereal coupons that were emailed (one to me, one to my husband) and the cashier and bagger insisted that one was a photocopy.

I pointed out that not only did they have different names printed on them, but they had different PIN numbers and expiration dates. It was really embarrassing! In the end, I called the manager some time later after I calmed down and spoke calmly with her about my experiences. It really makes me not want to shop there!

      • Jill

I have 4 Food Lion stores near me and I have shopped at all of them. I've never had a problem using coupons at any of them. I have found that my Food Lion stores are more lenient about my using multiples of the same coupons. I would call the corporate office and let them know about what's happening.

      • Jen

I came on to ask something very similar. Food Lion has a “tearpad” that *THEY* copy onto their website as a pdf, and we print out. I brought them the Capri Sun one (7 cents for a box!), and I was asked, “Is this a copy?”
Now, normally, I get it. A copy of a manufacturer's coupon is very fraudelent, because the numbers change. But this is a store coupon, one in which they are allowing us to have. Every single customer has the same coupon number. Why do they suddenly ask if this is a copy? I don't have the original store tearpad; they don't pass them out. We all have to go to the Food Lion website.
Is there something I'm missing? They asked because it didn't scan. I explained that I print in DRAFT because I don't want to spend a fortune on my ink. They put mine through. However, I have neighbors without a computer. I printed a couple for them, too, and they were rejected, because they didn't 'know' if it was a copy. I'd really like to understand this!

        • kim

These coupons are emailed out to mvp customers every week. How ever there is a group that has saved it as a pdf* file allowing users to print as many as they want. When its email to you Its a limit of one print. So sad to say IMO there are copies of these coupons going around, They are not intented to be printed over and over again :( So the stores will get where they dont want to take them.

You do know that Jenny herself puts the coupons here on this site in pdf format, don’t you? Not sure what group you are talking about…. as it is right here on this site located under STORE COUPONS. Or check it out here: http://www.southernsavers.com/food-lion-coupons/

            • The pdf versions are allowed by Food Lion at this time. If at any point Food Lion didn't want them, they would come down. It is important to honor the wording of the coupons though on limit 1 print per person per day.

            • Wmllewis

That was sort of my point with my earlier response to this. Printing them directly from the site doesn't limit you to one print any more than a PDF does. :)

pdf file for Capri Sun is on here under store coupons.

            • Cat

Yeah they are right on this site under store coupons. It is a pdf file.

Although these are e-mailed out to customers, when you click to print them the print window pops up that allows you to specify the number of prints you want. Nothing stops you from printing out several copies, unlike Brick coupons or ones from Coupons.com and places like that.

You should complain to corporate and to the manager. They have no right to assume you are being fraudulent. They need to learn better customer skills.

      • Cgreen275

I had a problem yesterday at one of the Belmont, NC stores. Called corporate this morning. Nicole in customer service read their policy to me – to accept store, manufacturer, catalina and internet printed coupons (except coupons to get items for free). She also said that she will make sure the store understands corporate policy. :) I DID call the store back and spoke to a manager, NICELY explaining that I'd called corporate and that I didn't want to get them in trouble but was simply wanting to make sure I understood their policy. They invited me to come back so they could honor my coupons!

      • Morgan4

I am in NC and I love Food Lion for coupons. My two stores are more lenient than anywhere else. If one of my coupons doesn't scan, they will manually enter it. Lowe's Foods is the one where I have had the most trouble, especially with internet coupons. They never seem to scan there and they make me feel like a criminal. I am convinced I save more at Food Lion even though they don't double coupons, because their prices are so much lower. The other place I shop most of the time is Harris Teeter, but even with a super double coupon on a sale item, sometimes Food Lion or Walmart is cheaper with just the plain coupon. My only complaint is that there are just some things I can't get there that the higher end stores carry.

    • BarbJDean

When I click the printable for the Post Cereal, it takes me to the Target website…and no Post Cereal coupons, only General Mills. Any suggestions?

      • AmyFMSC

I was able to print it. I had to go through quite a few pages until I found it though.

    • my publix takes walgreens RR only one though so i use a 10$. not all do but you could try and talk to the store manager bc at the top it says manufacturer coupon.good luck!

    • my publix takes walgreens RR bc at the top it says manufacturer coupon. try and talk to your store. they do only take one though so i use a $10. good luck!

FL string cheese-large 24pk- is $4.99, not an extremely exciting price but I think its decent (we fly through the cheese!)

they declined to take my free libbys veg coupons as they do not accept “free” IP, but did take the $1 smartlife IPs, which made them free after coupons.

I noticed the Right Guard gel deod. were marked down to 1.44, would be a good price after $1 coupon.

Greenworks laundry det was also marked down about half price. Sorry I do not know the exact price but it was around $4. Would be around $2 with IP from coupons dot com.

      • Lanavdixon

I used the free Libby's coupon without any problems at the Lyman SC store today.

        • Tanya W

Has anyone used the Best Life butter?? Is it any good?? Even though it's free I don't want to get butter that's nasty. lol

      • Rachel

we like it! its comparable to smartbalance or icantbelieve its butter (light versions) and we all know that free food tastes better right?? :)

      • Sistagirl61

I have used the butter and yes it is good. It has no calories!!!

      • Lanavdixon

We haven't tried it yet but it has no artificial flavors-the first 'margarine' I've found that my daughter can eat.

    • Land1216

I had a wonderful, wonderful experience at FLion tonight in the Carrollton, GA, store. I bought 4 toilet papers but forgot to use my $4 in coupons. My cashier called the CSM and he scanned my coupons and gave me back the cash! They have been so nice to me everytime I go in there!

    • Henderson927

Does anyone know if FL will take a stack a their store q with a man. q?

      • Mary M.

Most of the time they will allow you to stack a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon. However, today I tried to use a Food Lion store coupon “save $1.00 on any TWO (2) Hunt's Ketchup 24 oz.” together with a manufacturer coupon for “save $1.00 on any TWO (2) bottles of Hunt's Ketchup” and they would not accept the store coupon. After reading the fine print on the Food Lion store coupon, I noticed the wording was different from most their store coupons. It included the following “Consumer: No other coupon may be used with this coupon.” Lesson learned: Be sure to carefully check the wording on the store coupons before you try to stack them with a manufacturer coupon.

      • Ldeneault

I don't believe they do, I'll inquire and get back to you – I work there.

        • Ldeneault

Also could just be the luck of who is checking your items out.

    • Bunnagain1263

I like the best life butter..its pretty good to be diet. No Calories!

    • Ldeneault

I need a little help in reading/finding where to get coupons off SSavers. Sunday Paper, RP? or offer so websites. Thanks, Lauren

    • happilin

      • Chrstyamyrs

It doesn't expire till the end of today.

Food Lion in NE Columbia (Two Notch and Polo) said they would not accept the $2/1 Capri Sun today. They said they would accept other Food Lion printables but not that one. This was coming from their loss prevention dept. It was because some people were doing several a day!
