Here are the deals that start tomorrow 9/30 at Food Lion.  This list is a little different because the Midlands area of South Carolina is having a special Grand Re-Opening sale.  If you see any item listed as B1G1 (price not listed) these are deals that are only in the special ad for that area of SC.  Everything else is correct for all areas.  If you find that these deals are running in other areas please let us know!!shoppinglist1

Remember:
1. Check with your local store about B1G1 items. Ask “Are you required to buy 2, or will they each ring up at half price?”
2. Most Food Lion stores do not double coupons.
3. If you do a B1G1 deal, use 2 coupons if they will let you.

If you are new to Southern Savers read up on what all this means.

I don’t really shop at FoodLion but I recently got the home mailer with the Huggies coupon. Can you use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon together at Food Lion? Thanks.

    • bridget

I received the mailer from Food Lion with the diaper coupons, which is odd because I never shop there. They do say store coupon on the top – would I be able to stack the $3 Food Lion coupon with a $3 manufacturer’s coupon to get the Huggies for only $2.99? That would certainly be worth the trip! If so, does anyone know what time their registers re-set on Wednesdays with the weekly sales? Thanks!

      • Katrina

Yes, you can stack the store coupons with Manufacturers coupons. Also there is a FLIP for $1.50 off Huggies that expires tomorrow that you can stack with the manufacturer coupons. With the $3 coupon, it brings them down to $4.50 a bag–wow! Unfortunately, you can’t use more than one per day technically, so you wouldn’t be able to do multiples.

        • Cindi

I just left FL with the worst experience I have ever had there. The customer service mgr was running the register I went thru. I had the mfg coupon and the FL coupon for the Huggies and she refused to let me use them together. Also, she wouldn’t let me stack the coups for the Prego either. I left really upset and ended up only getting the Snuggles. I told her to void the groceries that I didn’t want them. I ask for a mgr and she said she was the only on on duty at the time.(SO MUCH FOR HER BEING A CUSTOMER SERVICE MGR)
Has this happen to anyone else at FL.
I went to the FL in Blythewood, SC

          • Hayley

I have had similar experiences at FL. They are just not known to be customer-service focused… I tend to shop at other places no matter how good the deal might be there. In fact, I drive right past the FL to get to Kroger.

    • Kim

      Thanks a million, Jenny!

    • Sandy

Where do you get the Kraft Food & Family Mag?

    • Melissa

I do not get a Food Lion mailer, do you know where you can sign up to receive it?

    • Susan Yarborough

Is anyone else having a problem printing the International Delight coupon?

      • Cindi

Yes, I did also, and I use Internet Explorer, so I opened up my Firefox browser and they printed for me….

    • The Knorr Rice coupon is printing in Spanish. FYI

      • bridget

I had that same thing happen before, but I was still able to use it.

    • I had no luck getting the Stouffer’s coupon. Has anyone else found it?

    • There is a $1.00 off coupon for Snuggle Fabric Softner on coupons.com.

    • CouponNERD

I don’t usually shop at Food Lion, but I may make a stop there this weekend for this sale.

    • dana

i am having trouble printing the huggies 3 dollar off coupon, it takes you to a link for smartsource and the coupon is not listed, am i doing something wrong, do i need to put in a certain zip code

    • Wendy

I went to Reids (Foodlion) today and received a reusable bag filled with a 2 liter soda, a box of instant oatmeal, paper plates plastic forks and a box of chewy granola bars (all store brand)for free. I only had to register to win a grill. I guess all stores are doing it, might be worth checking out your local foodlion.

    • Amy

The link for the frozen biscuits takes me to a LOOP of coupon install! Jenny, can you help?

      • Lana

Change the ‘vg’to ‘vi’ in the link then press enter and the coupon should print.

    • Tracy

I’m having trouble printing the Orville/M&M coupon. Says missing paremeter. Any suggestions?

    • Shaunta

      Thanks

      • Jenny

Shaunta – Email me what you have and I’ll get them up. jenny @ southernsavers . com

A few prices on the BOGO and 50% offs that I saw at the store in the K-Mart shopping center on St. Andrews –

Single prices are listed, since you only have to buy one.
      OJ – $1.90/gal each
Gwaltney Hot Dogs – 45 cents each
Smithfield center cut ham – $2.49/lb.

I THINK the buns wound up being 60 cents each.

The $1.88/10 lbs potatoes were Del Monte brand. They look good.

    • AngelaT

My girlfriend just called me to tell me that she got the new coupons (Inserts) for Sundays paper. She said that there is a $3 coupon for any Snuggles fabric softener. That means that the Snuggles would be free for this week. She gets the paper with coupons thrown in her yard on Thursday’s.

      • Kaye

These are listed as coming out on 10/4 on the TaylorTown Preview website, so should be in Sunday’s paper (regionally, of course)

    • cynthia

the dr peppers at my store in n. c. had a 55cent coupon stuck to it and i got 2 of them and used the flip for a doller off dr. peppers.i love me some cheap dr.pepper’s

    • keb2009

      • Amy

The coke in N Ga is 5.99 bogo.

        • Sindy

Reidville Rd, Spartanburg, $5.99 here too.

    • Drojas

My ad has 9.99 w/bogo for the Alpo prime cuts and I live in Jacksonville, Fl. I will take it to the store with me just in case.

    • Sarah S.

When I click on the international delight link for the 1.00 off coupon, it brings me to the website, and it is a .55 off coupon. Thanks for any help!

    • Kelly

FYI…FL HB&HD buns are not B1G1 in Union this week

    • Stacie

Food Lion in SWVA has 20 lb bags of Tidy Cats litter BOGO at $4.49, buy two, just two $1 coupons that came in cat food and you get two bags for $2.49! That’s an amazing deal on cat litter, especially the way we go through it here and we only have one cat! I might end up getting 4 maybe even 6 bags before the deal ends just so that I don’t have to worry with buy expensive kitty litter for a while!

    • Veronica

There were $3.00 coupons for Snuggle in Sunday’s circular (The Sun News). I bought 8 papers and then headed to Foodlion where I got 8 bottles of Snuggle for $1.44 (Free, paid tax only). There were also .40 coupons for Skippy peanut butter. These will come in handy on Sunday at Walgreens… Skippy will end up being .27 each after coupons & register rewards. :)

      • Stacie

Our Snuggle dryer sheets were 2/$6, I got some of those for free, too!

    • Cindi

I just left FL with the worst experience I have ever had there. The customer service mgr was running the register I went thru. I went to the FL in Blythewood, SC
Sorry, I think I have posted this twice. I am really upset. :(

      • kelli

My Food Lion will not let me stack coupons anymore. I believe that the policy changed a month or 2 ago. I almost always go to the self checkout and it lets you scan your own coupons. It used to let you use 2 per item (one manu. & one store) but it will no longer accept 2 either.

        • Cindi

The Fl I go to doens’t even have a self check out. What kills me is that the register took the coups, she just would not accept it and back out them out This is not the first time this same person did this. I also posted my experince on the FL Facebook wall.
Guess I was a little mad. But I am heading back up there again and see if someone else will let them go thru. lol
          Never hurts to try.

          • Cindi

I just left the same FL with a different cashier, and see took all the coups. She stacked the store and the mfg coups. Ended up getting a Jumbo Huggies for $2.99, Gerber Graduates Entree for $1.00, Gerber Mango Dessert for FREE, and 2 jars of Prego for $3.00 and the 10lb patatoes for $1.88. Total Bill $11.82.

Guess it just depends on who is running the register.

    • LeeAnn

Sweet potatoes were $0.59/lb in Spartanburg, SC.
Also, didn’t have B1G1 on buns.

    • kelli

anyone know of any campbell’s soup printables that are working? I thought that I saw a $1/2 a few days ago. I was really hoping to get some cheap soup.

    • TammynSC

I was just wondering if anyone has been able to find the Sara Lee Deli Meat. If you’ve found it…where and how much was it? I’m in Anderson, SC and looked at Walmart but they didn’t have it. That’s really the only place I’ve looked. Would someone please share? I’d like to use my coupon before it expires.

      • kelli

I remember seeing it at food lion but I think that it was $5.98 or something like that… can’t remember for sure, but it was more then I wanted to pay.

        • cynthia

i got some today at walmart in the deli, for $3.98,paid 98cent after coupon, they have ham, chicken, turkey, and rost beef

      • Cathy

I live in NC. Food Lion carries the Sara lee deli meat – they keep it over at the deli. They hang it up right beside the deli case. They are 4.69 at my store.
