Pampers & BJ’s Warehouse’s are offering a printable coupon for a free 60 trial membership.  This can at least let you see for a while if there is anything that you will get cheaper at a warehouse before paying the membership fee.

My take, you probably won’t find much grocery wise.  But you are welcome to prove me wrong!

(thanks Baby Cheapskate!)

We love BJ’s here. You can use coupons and are able to stack them with the ones that BJ’s provides as well. I buy alot of our food in bulk there and it is much cheaper for us. We also buy our diapers in bigger packs then you find at Target and such. It really is a great place to shop.

I took part of the last 60-day free membership. Bought just one thing that day and never went back. I know some folks love the big-box shopping clubs but I just don’t see the grocery bargains. That said, they have a lot more than just groceries….but nothing that I found compelling.

In one trip to BJ’s I was able to save enough to pay for the entire years membership. With the rare exception, I am able to buy diapers cheaper at BJ’s than anywhere else by using man. coupons stacked with BJ’s coupons on top of the warehouse price. They also have a better selection of diapers than any other warehouse club. Their price on eggs, milk, and bread is also hard to beat and it is rare to find coupons for these types of items. All in all- I love my BJs!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that many BJs also have member-only gas prices that are significantly cheaper… recently when I went it was 15 cents cheaper PER GALLON! This benefit is negated if you have to drive far to get there but…

I sign up for the free membership about once a year just to buy Nutella. They sell the 26 oz. jars and it’s usually about $4.49, which is what the smaller jars cost at the store, so I save 50%. Also buy Clea and Clear contact lens solution–bigger and cheaper than Target. These are the only two items I’ve found to be a good deal, so I stock up once a year on them.

we don’t have a BJs, but one of the main reasons we keep a Costco membership is for the Nutella :-)

They closed our BJ’s last year :(

Don’t forget you can stack BJ’s coupons with manf. coupons! Plus, if the item has more than one UPC label in it (ex, a set of 3 boxes of Crest toothpaste) then you can use a manf coupon for each UPC and the BJ’s coupon. I’ve gotten a few free/close to free items there. Plus, the best part about BJ’s is the monthly coupon book you get in the mail. Bj’s is great for diapers and formula especially!
