I have worked both as a server and as a manager at a Melting Pot at one point. The majority of the locations are franchises and are individually owned and operated. There are very few offers are company wide. Offers very much depend on what the owner of the individual restaurant wants to do. When I worked there, I had to explain many many times, that just because you see a deal at one Melting Pot, does not mean it is valid at another location. So please check with your location before assuming this is going on there.
