      Love it!

    • Melanieplynch

Just printed this coupon and decided a few minutes later that I wanted to print a second one for my CVS trip next week, but now it's not showing up anymore. Does that mean it's reached its limit already?

      • I did the same thing and it wasn't there….I had to use another computer to get it a second time.

    • Bessie

Can't find the Target coupon on it's site. ???

      • The Target coupon was in the August 22nd Sunday paper inserts. Some areas did not get this. If you don't have it then use the mfr. coupons to get them for 24 cents at CVS this weekend.

    • Carlene

FYI … Some Targets do not let you use multiple coupons for the same item in one transaction. Had a major issue with the Target in Summerville, SC with Diapers & Wipes. Just be prepared.

    • taffy

I used this coupon at Target and it didn't take it off. This is the third time I have used a coupon at Target and had them do this to me. The first two times I had to go to customer service to get refunded. This time I didn't notice until I left the store. I am through with Target.

    • Emily

No, but this coupon is limit of 1 per person. It will show up on the last pages of print limit reached for you.

    • Hmsanders1

Can you use two manufacturer coupons when one of those coupons is a B1G1 coupon? Wouldn’t this be like using two manufacturer coupons on one item since you are technically only buying one item? For example, above it is listed to use the .75 coupon and a B1G1 coupon (both manufacturer coupons).

      • Amy in AL

        I'm wondering this, too…

      • Mel

You are technically buying two items, just one is discounted to free by the coupon. The store gets completely reimbursed for the “free' item, and the one you are paying for with cash can get discounted by an additional coupon (for example .75 off 1.

    • Michelle J

I've also had Target not take off $ amounts for coupons I've used. I had a Target Q for Pampers diapers and wipes, manufacturer Q for wipes and manufacturer Q for diapers and it always seems that whatever Q has the highest $ amount doesn't get taken off. It's happened on other transactions at Target that I've used store and manu Q's for 1 item. What stinks is they put all your Q's in the cash tray after you give it to them, before you can see your receipt to say “Hey, wait a minutes, that one didn't take”.

So for those who've taken their receipt to CS to get a refund, how did you prove that you had a Q? Couldn't anyone just go to CS and say “hey I had a $ off Q that didn't take off, I need a refund”?

      • Laura

I had that happen at Teeter before. I had 20 coupons and before I could say that didn't come off they were already in a giant bag of other coupons. Took a good ten minutes for her to find all my coupons. You would have thought they would have just been all right on top, but ugh! This happened with the express lane, so since then I either stand up there watching all the coupons come off or I go through a normal line.

    • Michelle J

I clicked reply to Taffy and for some reason it put me here. Sorry for the random confusion.

    • Michelle J

      Ok, Jenny. Reply isn't working.

    • Dianne

Actually, you can get a little bit better deal at Publix if your store takes Target coupons. Mine does and the regular price is $2.15. Go tonight or tomorrow as the MQ expires tomorrow!

    • Monica

I have had lots of bad experiences with Target and coupons. I actually am trying to not shop there anymore for stuff that I can either get at CVS or Publix because they are so bad about it. I have once had to go to CS because they didn't take ANY of the coupons I had given them.

    • mightymousemom

Target does't tend to be very coupon friendly. You have to watch them. I have handed over coupons and the cashier states they came off the total only to find out the didn't deduct properly when I review my receipt. If I catch it before I leave the store, then I go to the customer service desk to have them pull them out of the register to issue a refund….blah, blah, blah….but what a process.

    • CharityH

I have not had any success printing off Target coupons. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to try. It says I must download then coupon printer program, says it has downloaded successfully, then doesn't print.

    • Mharwell01

      better than free?

    • glammyyams

i just did the math for the free shave gel. i get 50 cents of overage…i guess it would be better to apply this to something else in my purchase?! i do not want any problems at the register….

      • Laura

I didn't think Target allowed for overage. I think its like teeter were the register will only take off a certain amount from the coupon.

    • Mandy

No, you are technically purchasing 2 items. So, one item is free & other other item that you are buying is discounted by $1.00. However, some cashiers at Target may give you a difficult time on this one.

    • Keyrahollmer

I had that happen in the past, I do believe that maybe my computer security program was preventing it. Check that out. It might help.

    • Michelle

You can use both because the the B1G1 means the manufacturer coupon is reimbursing for the free product. So you can use the .75 manufacturer coupon on the other product because you have not used a coupon on that product.

    • kristine

I still don't understand why you can use 2 of the $1 off coupons. You are technically buying one and getting the other for free. I've never had any store allow me to take $$ off the free item I get with a bogo coupon…. Help?

      • Crissyq

You are right Kristine. Target wont let you use the $1 off of an already free item. But PUBLIX will !!! This is why I shop there before I go to Target because PUBLIX is all about the customer. Target is all about Target.

      • Mamaberry

Kristine, sorry for the late reply on this – but for your future reference: You are allowed one mfg and one store q per item. Target corporate policy specifically states this (as do many others). Store promotions are non-influential in whether or not this policy is upheld.

If they have a store promotion that says it's BOGO and you buy 2, they are supposed to accept 2 store and 2 mfg. q's. Regardless of price. They DO however have written into their policy that they will dumb down the mfg q to the cost of the item. So, if you have a $1.99 item and a $2 q, you will only get $1.99 for that mfg q.

I hope that made sense, and hth?? :)

    • Galveston 2000

printed one this am-the next said print limit reached-one better than none

    • 3monkeysmom

You are allowed 2 coupons per item- 1 manufacturer and 1 Target coupon, so it shouldn't be a problem (although alot of Targets don't understand the concept!).

You have 2 cans of shave gel. The 75 cent manuf. coupon is for the one you are paying for, the BOGO coupon is for the free one, so that's 1 manufacturer's coupon per item. Throw in the (2) $1 target coupons and that's 1 target coupon per item.

So you have 1 manufacturer and 1 Target coupon per shave gel :-)

      • Crissyq

Seems to me that a BOGO free coupon is for 2 cans is it not? Its one of those coupons like a $1.50 off of two cans. Meaning those kinds of coupons are already for 2 items.

Seems to me like the correct scenario on these two cans are 3 total coupons 1 BOGO free coupon to use with (2) $ 1 Target coupons. But with Target you better watch them closely because in this scenario you are buying one can and getting one free. So the $1 off Target coupon is giving you a dollar off of the one you buy, and the second $1 off Target coupon is giving you $1 off of the free one. Most Targets wont give you $1 off of anything that is already free, this would mean that they would be giving you overage. Target would rather keep any overage rather than applying the overage to the the customer's total. Thats just the way they are.

        • 3monkeysmom

I've been couponing for a few years and have never had trouble using a BOGO coupon and a $$ off coupon :-) The BOGO coupons typically just stipulate that you have to buy one and they will take off the purchase price for the “free” one, up to a certain $ amount. Unless it says that it can't be combined with another coupon (which I've never seen on a BOGO coupon) then it's ok to use them together.

As far as Target goes, you are right :-) That's going to be a YMMV kind of situation. Target is soooo annoying when it comes to couponing!!

But I think about it like this: they are going to get their $$ regardless. If I just buy 2 without the BOGO coupon and pay with cash/debit/credit, then they will let me use the $1 Target q on both items.

If I purchase 2 and use a BOGO coupon, they are getting the cost back for one from the manufacturer, so I should still be allowed to use the $1 Target coupon on both items.

They are getting paid for it either way!!

Unless, of course, the Target coupon says “one coupon per transaction,” and alot of them do for some reason, then you will only be allowed 1 of them no matter what.

    • 3monkeysmom

My comment below is for Kristine.

Apparently something is wrong with replies and they are posting as new comments.

    • kristine

      Thank you 3monkeysmom!!!

    • mum2pnut

does anyone know where the $1 off target coupon is from?? I didn't see it in my coupons from that day unless it wasn't in our paper?? We are in the Tampa Bay area of Florida

      • TONJATJMOM

THEY WERENT IN MY AREA EITHER.. I AM IN CENTRAL FLORIDA..

    • Sunfun94

make sure to restart your computer once you have it downloaded..plus on targets website it will tell you if the website is “reading” your printer properly. :o)

    • islandhopper

Just got back from my local Target and was told I could only use one $1 off Target coupon, not two because you can't take $1 off a free item. :( I'm new at the whole couponing thing and was so disappointed when it didn't work! Maybe I'm not presenting my coupons right??

      • TONJATJMOM

DONT GET DISAPPOINTED.. U STILL DID GOOD.. SO IT COST U A BUCK FOR TWO CANS.. THATS GREAT.. THINK ABOUT IT.. AND SOME TARGETS WILL TAKE BOTH.. AND SOME TARGETS WONT.. U WILL LEARN WHICH OF THE STORES IN UR AREA R USER FRIENDLY.. SOMETIMES U HAVE TO HAVE BOUGHT A FILLER.. MEANING.. IF U ONLY BUY TWO CANS OF EDGE AND U HAVE 4 COUPONS THEN THE COMPUTER IS GOING TO KICK IT BACK AT U.. SO U BUY SOMETHING REALLY CHEAP TO MAKE THE ITEM COUNT THE SAME AS THE COUPON COUNT.. EX:COUPLE OF 10CENT PENICILS .. IT DOESNT TAKE LONG TO GET THE HANG OF THE WHOLE THING.. AND U WILL BE SO PROUD OF YOURSELF.. SO CHIN UP.. U DID GREAT.. MY AREA THE TARGET STORES CAN BE TRYING TO SAY THE LEAST.. SO I TOOK MY DEAL TO PUBLIX.. MY PUBLIX ACCEPTS TARGET COUPONS AND COUPONS ON AN ITEM EVEN IF IT IS BOGO.. SO. I GOT THE SAME DEAL AND IT ONLY COST ME 20 CENTS PLUS TAX.. THE EDGE AT MY PUBLIX WAS 2.93 BUT CAME WITH A BONUS RAZOR ON EACH CAN.. WOO HOO!!!! SO.. BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF.. THERE IS A LITTLE LEARNING CURVE.. AND IT IS MOSTLY LEARNING UR STORES.. AND WHICH R USER FRIENDLY LIKE I SAID EARLIER… U DID GOOD.. WELCOME TO THE CLUB.. “)

      • Crissyq

Dont worry islandhopper, its not you. You're doing fine. Most Target stores do not want you to have anything more than the coupon allows. Its not a store like Publix where dont mind you getting something free plus an overage. Target is the kind of store that even scans your coupons, wont give you the discount, and then put your coupons right in the register. When I go to Target I pay for all my coupon shopping first, and watch the cashier closely as she scans every single coupon and check the discounts on the receipt before leaving the register. There used to be plenty times when I have given them a $3.00 manufactures coupon and the computer scanned it as a $ $2.37 coupon. Or I have had a $1 manufactures coupon to stack with a $1 Target coupon and they had only discounted for the $1 manufactures coupon only. I always caught these discrepancies once i got to the car and checked my receipt. Now I take care of their dishonesty right at the register.

        • Fponsell

oh my goodness!! I thought it was only me! I have seen them stick my coupons in the drawer and later checked my receipt and they did not give me the discount! I am not planning on shopping at target with coupons again. The last time I tried to work a deal with Kikoman Buy One Get One and I ended up returning everything because I got to the car and they had over charged me! Going to stick with Publix I think:-)

          • Crissyq

Dont give up on shopping at Target. I was so mad I had stopped shopping there too at one point just about a month ago when I realized what was going on. But now I know that when I go there just to seperate your coupon items and then watch very carefully and feel free to tell the cashier not to scan them so fast so you can see.

And yes, Do stick with PUBLIX they are very coupon-friendly :)

        • 3islanders

Thanks so much for the reassurance! haha! It's kinda discouraging when you're so excited, coupons in hand, and you walk in ready to conquer and then ya get the wind knocked out of your sail. It was only $1 but it was the principle of the matter, so yes, I'm still learning! :) And YES, I got back to my car, scanned over my receipt and realized that the $1 Target coupon that she “scanned” never got used, but yep she put it in her drawer as if it was taken off. It was a great learning experience for sure!! Thanks for the encouragement and tips!!
