Right now through 7/31, you can get the 2009 Entertainment Book FREE or for $1.98!  It is filled with coupons that are good through November.

How is it free??

Go to Cashbaq sign up for an account.  Even though you will see this deal in the top corner I found it best to then scroll through the stores and find Entertainment Book.   Click on the coupon for all books $7.99.  Cashbaq is offering $8 cash back on all books.

If you are already a member it will cost $1.98 for shipping and handling after the $8 cash back.

If you are not currently a member then you will get $5 for signing up so after you buy the book you will actually get back $13 from a $9.98 purchase! You make $3.02!!

(thanks Thrifty Mama!)

I was reading the fine print when I was checking out and it said that I would be charged for the 2010 book if I didn’t cancel my order when it came to email…then the last quote said that if you cancel it you would be charged a $5 fee. Did I read this right?

      • Jenny

        Jeanne,

I also saw this at first just make sure you are clicking through the coupon that is “All books $7.99” then you can say no thanks to being auto signed up for next year.

    • Chantelle

do you actually have to pay and then wait for the refund?

      • Jenny

You do have to pay then get the cashback later. Usually takes 6-8 weeks like a rebate.

So I was about to do it… how do I get the $5? I registered and it says my total is $7.99 + $1.99 s&h. Cashbag says I have a $5 credit up top. How will this work?

    • Amy in LA

so is it a check in the mail or a refund on the card?

      • Jenny

It’s a check in the mail.

    • Amy in LA

      thank you.

    • Andrea

Do I have to do anything on the Cashbaq website to get my rebate after I order the book?

    • Suzanne

Which store do I go to in order to get the book? I’m lost on the site and can’t find it.

    • Catrina

I’m confused. I ordered the book how you said too but then didn’t see anything about getting the rebate after I ordered it. It wasn’t emailed to me either. How do I get it?? I did get an email saying that $5 was put in my account for signing up and when I earn $5 more the payment will be mailed to me. I’m not understanding how that works. Will I have to buy something?

    • Amanda

From reading the FAQ on their site..it can take quite a while to show up in your account. They have to get the notification from the store before they can issue the rebate.

    • Julie

Me too. confused. I ended up paying $4.99. Grabbed the $5 deal for joining up. I was planning on canceling next year’s order in a couple of months (have it on my calendar to remind me). But I did not see my $8 rebate? I did not recieve an email either.

    • Julie

ohhh, the fine lines. how do i cancel next year’s subscription?

    • Kelly

They changed the offer and it is no longer free. Entertainment pulled their offer and now Cashbaq is offering $10 instead of $5 for those who order it. THis offer is supposed to be good thru the end of the month, but they might change it. There’s also the cancellation within a year that will cost $5. The other issues is that the 2009 book may only be useable up to 11/01/09. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew.

    • Watch out for this! I did this deal last year and didn’t read the fine print and I was charged $5 this year! I got it b/c it was free, we haven’t used a single coupon out of it and now we have had to pay for it…. NOT smart!!! Just be careful!!

    • Maggie

I did this deal and it worked great. You had to be sure to click on the deal to get ONLY the 2009 book for $7.99 (+ 1.99 shipping) and get back $8.00 from Cashbaq. I was new to Cashbaq and so got $5 for signing up and then got refunded $8 for the book. So paid $13 and only $9.98 oop, plus the book! Just checked my Cashbaq balance & the $13 is there.

If you happened to click on the deal to get the 2009 book for free WHEN you preorder the 2010 book, then yes, you will get charged the $5 cancellation fee and the deal really isn’t that good. Sorry for anyone who made that mistake, but I hope this helps to clear some things up.

Which store do I go to? I am on the website and cannot find it???
