Many of you have emailed or commented about a $5 off 20 participating products coupon found at Publix.  Most are finding this on a Italian Sale Display up front or near the Progresso soups. (Click here for image -thanks Kelly and Melissa!)

This coupon paired with manufacturer coupons makes for lots of free groceries! The coupon is good through 3/4 so I would grab a few of them and get what is on sale this week with it and wait for other products to see if they go on sale next week.  Click here for the coupon matches.  The list below is prices after coupons.

Click here for the coupon locations.

Also there is a new Procter and Gamble flyer out with store coupons (image here).  They might not seem great until you notice there are NO expiration dates on these.

There are two deals this week using these that I just added to the weekly list!

    • Lindsey

There are 2 more P&G coupons that aren’t shown in the image you have:
Save $1.00 off any Clairol Hair Color Product (excludes Nice N’ Easy Perfect 10)

      and

Save $0.50 on any Tampax or any Always Pad or Pantiliner.

We have 2 stores just down the street from each other and I found a TON of these at one store, but none at the other. At the store that had them, I also noticed that they had put .50 off peelies on a lot of P&G beauty products (which of course double to a dollar). So, if you are in need of a MF coupon to pair with the store coupon, might want to check for those too. They were mosty on products that are in the P&G inserts regularily.

      HTH someone!

I also agree that those are awesome coupons, since they have no expiry date!
We need to stock up on those! :)

    • Gwen

What did you add to the list? I so hate to ask this because I so do not want cause you any work, but if you add anything to the list is there a way that you can make it a different color or something? Thank you so much for all your hard work in putting this stuff together.

    • Michelle

Here was the plan I posted

      Eight Progresso Broths @ $1.30 = $10.40
      Two GG boxed veggies @ $1 = $2
      Four Progresso Soups @ $1.25 = $5
      Six Muir Glen tomato sauce @ $.89 = $5.34

      Use the following Q’s
Four $1.25/1 Progresso Broth, Any variety
Four $.50/1 (doubles to $1) Progresso Broth, Any variety
      Four $1.10/1 Progresso Soup, Any
      Two $1/1 GG IP
Six $1/1 Muir Glen Product, Any – 02-08-09 SS
      THREE $1/4 Progresso Publix Q
THREE $1/2 Muir Glen Publix Q’s

My total will be -$4.66 and then I get to use the $5 –with the Coupon I will have Overage of $9.66 to spend on other needs!!

    • Betsy

Just found a $1/3 Green Giant Boxed Veggies from the Pillsbury Value Book!! Sure wish I had more than one copy:)

    • Jamie

Can I print the $5 coupon from this image or do I need an actual paper one?

    • Jenni G

Can I just say that I love Publix, and I love this site? I saved $13 from coupons today, and that was before the $10 rebate, and I wouldn’t have known about any of this without this site, because otherwise it’s just too complicated! Thanks so much for all your hard work!

    • Jenny

Gwen – the new additions are toward the end of the deals for free toothpaste and .50 cent toothbrushes.

    • Kelly

Lindsey, my Publix does not double the .50 cent peelies found on the P&G products. I was told by the manager that none of the Publix coupons double. Has anyone found a different situation?

    • Jenny

Kelly you are right, Publix store coupons do not double. I didn’t know if what she was talking about was a manufacturer or store coupon, all the peelie coupons I have seen though have been store coupons.

    • Kelly

um, looks like we’re both burnin’ the midnight oil. LOL. I know that you’re going to sleep soon right? I promise that I am.

    • Kelly

BTW, it was fun interacting with you today. Melissa and I had a great time talking about the Southern Savers site today. Have a good evening. – starbucksgirl

    • Bonnie

      Hi,
Where do you find the GG rebate info?
      Thanks

    • Jenny

It was in the SS insert from 2/08.

    • Lauren

Let me just say how much I love your website!! I had an awesome week at Publix this week. I spent $51.47 in groceries and saved $64.97!! I still have to send in for my $10 Rebate :) All in all it was a great trip. I got to use the Progresso $5 off and the Rite Aide $10 off $30! I have a young child so the Juicy Juice for B1G1 and coupons was AWESOME!!!!

    • Just so you know, Publix will accept competitors’ coupons! While they don’t ‘price match’, you can take advantage of Target, Kroger, BJs, Rite Aid (think pharmacy prescription transfer coupons!), and the Entertainer book 5 to 15% off total order coupons. If it is a competitor of Publix, you can use the coupon there!!

    • Jenny

That is why we love Publix around here. Just to note: the store does have to be in your area for them to consider it a competitor.

    • Celinda

Hello all! I am new at this but I can see how awesome it’s going to be. One thing however that I can’t seem to understand is how you get so many coupons for the same thing. The progresso coupon site would only let me print it once. I did try to hit the back button and it worked on some things ..but not all. Thanks!

    • Jenny

Each site should let you print two, so if the back button didn’t work try just coming back to the page and printing again. The easiest way to get more than two is find a few more computers :) I also have family members near me that won’t use them, print them for me.

    • Julie

Ok, I think I am going to have a nervous breakdown… coupons.com hasn’t worked on my computer all week. I thought it was just my computer or something but my friend is having the same problem. When i type in coupons.com it some up as an error. When i try to link from your site the same thing happens. Is this happening for anyone else? I would GREATLY appreciate an help or insights.
      Thanks!

    • Beth

Just a heads up, I couldn’t find the $5 off 20 item coupon at my Publix but luckily I printed a copy of the one linked above just for reference purposes and they used it just fine. They just use the number on it there is no barcode to scan anyway. So just print you one and take it with you.

    • Bonnie

I could’t find the coupon either and I live in FL. I know sometimes Publix does things differently in FL. Wondering if anyone in FL has actually found this coupon? I’m going to print from the link today and see what happens at the store…

    • I printed a copy of the Q so I would know what to look for. I couldn’t find it and when I asked the Manager, and he couldn’t find it either, he told me to just use the copy I printed and they would honor it! I LOVE PUBLIX!

    • Tracy

I went to the Pillsbury site and the Betty Crocker site for coupons, registered then uploaded or downloaded the coupon printer thingy 2 seperate times and it still wont let me print the coupons.Do you know what I might have done wrong ? Or what the case may be?

    • Angela

I’m loving this tips and coupon match ups on this site! I just stocked up on soups and veggies… paying only 35 cents for 21 items! Thanks so much. I’m going back tomorrow to get more soups for the food kitchen at church. There are many families that are in need of help with groceries. Thanks for helping me bless others!

    • Carrie

My Publix had the Italian Sale Display, but I searched and searched and couldn’t find the $5 off coupon. I asked an employee, he checked with the front office and brought one out to me. So if you can’t find it, ask!

    • Lindsey

Sorry for the slow reply on this…I thought the P&G peelies were MF q’s…but maybe they weren’t…I think I had it it in my mind that they were MF and that I had the same one’s from inserts so I didn’t grab any, but I could be wrong and maybe they were store….

    • Lindsey

      Tracy,
What kind of operating system are you using and what kind of browser are you using for the internet when you try to print?

Your browser and OS may be incompatible. For example, I use a mac and Safari is the only browser that I am able to use.

See this link here for info about compatibility:

      http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/themes/cm_bigblue/_include/FAQ.html?pid=13306&zid=iq37&nid=10#faq3

You can always have them mailed to you. Click on the ‘help’ on the right hand corner and they will mail them. They usually are pretty quick about it.

    • Jilana

May I ask where are you getting the $10 rebate offer for the veggies. I love your site, so awesome. I got $75 worth of groceries for $30 this weekend. The manager rang me up and he said wow I’m impressed. I was impressed too, we have more food in our house right now that I think we have ever had at one time. With 5 growing kids keeping food around is no easy task.

    • Mandy

I saw on idea 1 that you would send in the $10 GG rebate. My form only lists GG Boil in a bag for the rebate offer. Are you saying that the frozen veggies that are on sale at Publix would be included too?

    • Jenny

I called and was told that the boxed frozen vegetables are their boil in a bag vegetables. The Green Giant website doesn’t even list a boil in a bag product!

    • Wendy

Thanks for always listing awesome deals! FYI, I also did the $5 off $20 deal, and the $10 GC mail-in, mainly by stocking up on Progresso (great coupons!) and Pillsbury. Since Publix had most Pillsbury refrigerated products (pizza dough, cresent rolls, sweet rolls, etc) 3 for $5 this week, if you used a MF q for each one, it worked out to be almost free after the GC and $5/20 also. I didn’t realize GG would work,so thought I would post this in case it might help someone :)

    • Lana

Spent $83 and saved $208 this week!!!! Took hubby along with his own list and shopped with 2 carts (this was a chore!) and it really paid off. We are busting at the seams here but it is great to have plenty to share with those we know who are in need right now. Bought a boneless pork loin for 1.99 lb and found that to be pretty disappointing-lots of fat and all tied together which hid the fact that it would just fall apart after removing the string.

      Thanks for all you do!

    • Susan Weathers

Couldn’t find the $5 off coupon in the store….can I print the one you showed as an example?

    • Ava Johnson

Is the rebate same as the one buy 15 items save $10.00?We no longer buy the soup because it has MSG.E mailed them and ask if they might remove that from thier soup.Long time user of Progresso products.I really think its new addition as we have bought soup for very long time and never saw this included in ingredients before until just recently.

    • Aymie

I am new to this site and saw Oprah yesterday and just had to check it out! I am learning new ways to save and I just wanted to clarify some things. Is it true Publix takes all competitor’s coupons? Do they take expired coupons? Can I double coupons? Any advice for me to save more is greatly appreciated!

    • Jenny

Pulix does take competitor coupons for any store in your area. They do not take expired coupons. If you live anywhere other than FL or the coast of GA they will double any coupon that is .50 cents or less.

Just follow the weekly lists, start each week stocking up on what is on sale and each week you will find that you are buying less and less items that are not on sale because you are stocked up on them and don’t need to pay retail.

    • Aymie

      Jenny-
Thanks for the info. Also wanted to ask about the food lion coupons. It says “Limit 1 print per coupon” does this mean I can or cannot use 2 if items are BOGO. Also, Can I use 2 coupons PER BOGO item? For instance, Shedd’s country crock spread… I have 2 Food lion coupons for .50 each and 2 manu coupons for .55 each. Could I use all 4 if BOGO? Thanks.

    • Jenny

Because the FL coupons say “print one” you probably will only be able to use one of each FL per transaction. Some stores will accept more but not many.
So you could use 2 manufacturer coupons and 1 FL printable for the B1G1 deal.
