I was going to take my children to the Childrens Museum in Atlanta on the free day this summer. There were people waiting in line three blocks up! The museum is not very big, and I can't imagine how busy…. I didn't bother. Mind you I was going it alone with three children under six….

This is such a great program! Some friends and I took our kids to the Children's Museum of Atlanta a couple of months ago and had a blast! Tip: bring cash and park in the $5 parking on Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. instead of the $13 Centennial Park parking (I made the mistake of not having any cash when we went). Also, pack a picnic and have it at the park so that you can be there to get in line early :-) We did this and just let the kids play on the playground until we saw the line getting sort of long and then headed on over.
