This is exciting…

OfficeMax is offering a Kodak ESP 5250 All-in-One Printer FREE after MaxPerks Rewards! You will owe $99 plus tax, and then get it all back in MaxPerks Rewards.

If you already have rewards from previous purchases, you can use them now and still get the full value back in more rewards!!!

Make it even better by going through ebates and getting 3% cash back.

(thanks Lori!)

    • Amy A.

Are you ever notified of future MaxPerks deals? I have MaxPerks that will expire on 9/30. So, I'm wondering if I should go for this printer or wait and see if there are new ones next week. It makes me nervous to wait though!

      • I don't know of them until the day they begin. They tend to change them every Sunday night or Monday morning. You could wait… but that might be risking it.

        • Paulakay72

My mom needs a new printer desperately, but lives nowhere near an Office Max. Is this offer available online and like the first gal posted….are the “rewards” only good at Office Max? Thanks, Jenny! They may end up with a new printer for Christmas!! :)

          • Paulakay72

Oops…just saw…ONLY available for online purchase, but I'm still unsure how the rewards works. I'll try to figure it out!!!

      • Stace

You can use it to purchase gift cards though as long as they aren't Office Max cards. They have lots to choose from, itunes, kohls, etc. So that might be an option too.

    • Ceomishanks

Does anyone know the quality of the printer & cartridge costs, replacement frequency?

      • Bee

Not a very good printer. I bought one and it jams frequently and picks two pieces of paper, messing up coupons. The cartridges (color and black together) are about $20 at Wal-Mart but they do not last as long as more expensive cartridges.

The printer is also very noisy and has to re-align all the time.

I wasn't impressed and I don't expect it to last long at all.

        • Uoh_kiran

Thanks for your comment.. otherwise I would have wasted my money and time…!!

    • Ak Tanya

The printer is actually only $99.99 plus tax, once you click on the ad and go to the second page.

    • Loweryml

Is Max perks like CVS extra care bucks, where you can use them on future purchases?

      • elizabeth

The MaxPerks aren't able to be immediately used like ECBs, they accumulate quarterly (I think) and then you have a few months to redeem them. They will send you an email when they are available, plus a long code that you enter when you are ready to redeem them. This program definitely requires much more patience than ECBs, it's very 'delayed gratification'. :)

    • Caspertr

I have one and it prints great..ink is only about 10 dollars and last a while!

    • Mandi

How long do you typically have to redeem your rewards and does it have to be in one transaction for my next purchase? I'm wondering if I can divide it up into small Christmas presents in a few months…

      • Coupondiva02

You can divide them up. The rewards are loaded on your rewards card then they just scan it like a debit card until it's at “0” balance. It's a great system because you don't have to use them all at once. I can't remember how long you have to redeem them (I usually use them very quickly).

    • Becky

This printer is only 99.99!!! When I put it in my cart, it automatically subtracted 30.00! So with tax and everything it was 109.00!

    • Amy B.

Darn, I already used up my rewards this quarter on cardboard boxes :). One tip with the max rewards is to make sure your purchase is slightly higher than your reward amount… you might have trouble rolling them otherwise.

    • Lacey

I bought this printer a few months ago at Office Max for 47.00 total. They had it on sale for 109.00, additional 50.00 when you bring in an old cartridge. They didn't know how to do the trans., so I called corp. they figured it out and gave me a 15.00 coupon. So with all that, I only paid 47.00 for it OOP. Great printer, haven't had to buy ink yet, but haven't used it alot.

    • BR

The ad states it is $129.99. Where did you see $99?

      • Lominackkm

It's on the website for $99 once you click to put it in your cart.

    • Uoh_kiran

Can some body suggest me..which is the good wireless black and white printer ( for coupons only)..best and cheapest one..

      • Debko

Brother HL2170W….wireless laser printer. I picked it up for $99.99 at Staples a couple of months ago. From what I hear the toner cartridge should last me well over a year. I have priced replacement toner and it will be a lot cheaper then what I was paying for my HP inkjet toner.

        • Moms-coupons

Apparently there’s a trick to getting more out of your toner cartridge past the low toner level light coming on. I went on Amazon to read a few reviews on your recommendation, and found this tip:
          http://www.amazon.com/review/R3D77WAVAAVLQQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_viewpnt#R3D77WAVAAVLQQ

        • Mollymgc

We have the Brother HL2170W too. Love it though it does have installation challenges. Don't bother trying to figure it out….call Brother immediately and save yourselve alot of time. They are familiar with installation issues and will help ease the process. Once installed… LOVE IT and like Debko says many, many more coupon prints for the $$$. I paid $99 too. Also no color so we just use for coupons and non color items.

          • Uoh_kiran

Thanks Debko and Mollymgc…I will definately by Brother HL2170W from amazon = $89.99 now..

          • Kam

Yep, my husband drove himself crazy trying to install it (and he's great with computer stuff). He finally gave in and called Brother. They helped him get it set up. Love it now!!

    • Moms-coupons

Tempting…but I think I'll pass. Read the reviews on Amazon, doesn't sound like it'll be good for coupon printing as there are a lot of comments regarding needing to have color ink in supply just to print B&W. If anyone has a good recommendation for a wireless capable printer, I'd love to know about it!

      • Emily

I love my Printer it is a Canon Pixma MX340. I have had it for 3-4 months and I am still on the ink that it came with. also very easy set up.

    • Hallfamer

We have a Kodak ESP7 All in one Printer that is a piece of junk. I will never buy a Kodak printer again!

    • Misstristyn

It's $129 in my cart :-( I guess they fixed that.

    • I used to have a Kodak Easyshare WIRED printer and loved it. I bought one of these on Black Friday and gave my son the other one. I was much more satisfied with the other one. Ink does seem to be used up quicker with this one and it does not print good pictures. One good thing about this one is that you can set it to show you the page before it prints, so that you will know if an ad is going to print before or after a coupon. The good thing about Kodak is that if the printheads wear out, Kodak will replace them for free. They replaced them 3 times on my old one ( I can't remember if I used it 2 or 3 years.) and they have replaced them on this one once. I do a lot of printing.

    • Micrutan

This printer uses too much ink. I bought this printer to print pictures and it does an okay job but it is not good for anything else and it is very loud. I am buying a new printer to print coupons. This kodak printer is a waste of my coupon saving money.

Looks like I'm not the only one unhappy with this printer. I wanted to warn anyone wanting to buy this….it may be a good deal if you get it free! I set mine to print “black only” all the time. Because, this will not print at all if one of the cartridges is even almost empty. I had low color ink but a full black (brand new) and it would not do anything even on black only setting. So, after I purchased a new color cartridge I decided to keep it on black only all the time to save having to replace the color since it is a little more expensive. Well, without ever printing anything in color, it is now saying my color ink is low. I called the company and they said there is black in the color cartridge and the printer will draw from that too! So, even though I have not used any of the “colors” I will have to replace that cartridge as it is going to read empty and not let me print from my black cartridge! It does a great job printing, but it does eat the ink and I am just mad about the technology in this thing. And Kodak will do nothing to help you when you call. They just say “sorry, that's just the way it works”! I am shopping for a new printer. Will keep this for scanning, but not coupon printing!

Terrible printer! Paper jams, uses waaaaayyyy too much ink. The ink is cheap because it doesn't last long at all. Office Max isn't the only one giving it away for free. I'm trying to give mine away for free too! I used it for about a month and I unplugged it and bought a new HP printer. I print about 1000 sheets a month. If you print less than 100 pages a month, this might be good for you.

    • Downtownlindabrown

ON the website it states the price is $129.99 not $99??

    • Rclay18

Free is free! I'm going to get the printer and try it. If I don't like it then I haven't lost anything I still have the perks to spend. I've been doing maxperks since March and so far I've gotten:

      Bank boxes – 3 sets

      Envelopes – 3 boxes

      File folders – 3 boxes

      Paper – 1 box (10 reams)

      Jansport backpack – 1

      Quilted backpack – 1

Kodak wireless all in one printer – 1

All this for my original “investment” of $87.72

As soon as my printer comes in I'll roll my rewards again!

    • Love this printer. I just got mine ! Thanks Jenny !

    • Flossie Dalia

How are people getting it for $99 because on the website it says $129. Is there some type of code?

      • 'Autumn' gives you 20% off

        • Rclay18

I tried to use that code and it wouldn't work.

          • sorry its case sensetive AUTUMN i just saw it advertised on the site as i posted so i know its current

            • oh fine print says not valid on printers, but the printers gone now anyway. :(

    • D6140peterson

Doesn't matter whether you like it or not…it is no longer available on the website!
