Hi, the Tide one is no longer active. i can’t find the toothpaste one after I click on the link. The candle one looks suspicious. A pop up window asks for you cell phone number after you have submitted the request. Bummed that these didn’t work out for me but I’ll keep coming back for more freebies. Thanks.

    • Alecksi

The Salt City Candles freebie is a scam, just fyi.

      • Abigail

you don’t have to fill in the number, just click out of it and behind it, there is a screen that says, you’ll receive you candle in 2 – 3 weeks

        • Sunshine

I closed the popup without giving my cell info and did see that I would receive a candle in 2 to 3 weeks but the pop up said “You will NOT receive a candle without verifying you cell phone number here” (Or something very similar). That is highly suspect in my book. Something is just not right about that give away. Including the fact that the page has no activity before a week ago.

    • Debbie

When I clicked on the free candle sample and filled out the info, a box popped up asking for me to enter my cell phone number to verify. very suspicious.

      • Erica

It just did that to me, too. Just close the box everyone! It’s wanting you to sign up for a $9.99/mo subscription, but the facebook page behind it says the candle will be received in 2-3 weeks. I bet a lot of people will get charged for this freebie! :(

    • I read on another site that the salt city candle freebie is a scam.

    • Goldilocks250

There are no more Tide samples and the candle offer wanted to confirm my cell phone with a pin that I never received.

    • Amanda

Can’t find the toothpaste sample. Tide and Purina samples gone.

    • MHL

Saw on several blogs yesterday that the Salt City candle thing was not legit. Not sure but read that several places to not give them your info.

    • Sunshine

Oh, I really think the Salt City Candles is a scam . . . their page has no activity before a week ago. And then a pop up asking for my cell phone number . . . no way I’m giving anyone my cell phone number! But uggh . . . I gave them my e-mail :(

    • Susan M.

tried to get the candle, but it wanted my cell number. I put in home number, and then it seemed to be downloading something to my computer! Not something I want, so I cancelled it.
