Because of our limited shopping last week, we stocked up on some deals this week.  I spent $10 over our grocery budget (adding in what wasn’t spent last week).  Kroger was our first trip and was a record for me.  After watching the Olympics all week I want a little “WR” next to my name.

Kroger- Total Due before Coupons & Sales: $156.48
Total Paid after coupons: $37.81
Savings: 75.8%

Publix- Total Due before Coupons & Sales: $114.43
Total paid after coupons: $47.25
Savings: 58.7%

Overall total for groceries before coupons & Sales: $270.91
Total I paid: $85.06 ($75 was our budget)
Total Saved: $185.85 or 68.6%

To not through off the above percentages I am listing CVS and Rite Aid separately:

CVS- Total before Coupons & Sales: $70.44
Total Paid after coupons and ECB:  $9.25 and got back $5 ECB for next week
Savings: 86.8% look below for transactions

Rite Aid – Total before Coupons, Sales and Rebates: $32.43
Total Paid after coupons and rebates: $2.01 (tax only everything was free)
Savings: 93.9%

Complete Totals for the Week:
Total before Coupons & Sales: $372.78
Total I paid: $96.32
Total Saved: $276.46 or 74.1%

I rarely actually buy things with cash at CVS, but the price was too good for Pull Ups to pass up.  We got 3 packs of Pull Ups and a ton of other things for less the normal price of 1 pack of Pull Ups!!
