Happy Friday!  After being nearly washed away yesterday, we spent today enjoying the beautiful sunny weather hiking in the woods.  I hope many of you enjoyed this gorgeous day after your rain/snow.  Shopping for us this week was pretty straight forward.  I hit Kroger for a ton of fruit thanks to a 4 day sale they were running.  We are finally ending the sickness battle in house so hopefully I can knock the fruit budget back a bit next week, though my kids and I have been loving it!

Kroger:
Total before sales and coupons: $136.41
Total Spent: $71.88
Total Saved: $64.56 or 47%

This was over half fruit, so I’m pleased!  We got blueberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, grapefruit, clementines, bananas, salad mix, and tomatoes.  I also ran into the meat manager marking down roasts and steaks, so I stocked up a little.  Anytime I can get good meat over 50% off, I’m ready!  I sweetly asked him if this was a routine to always be there at that time on that day, needless to say I think we’ll be back next week.
