I hope you didn’t give up on me this week, I had to go shopping tonight before I could share any savings!

Tonight I wish I could have had a live video follow me to prove to folks that this doesn’t have to take a lot of time.  I spent exactly 31 minutes cutting my coupons (I don’t cut anything until I get ready to go shopping) and printing my shopping list.  I got to the store at 9:34 and they promptly locked the door behind me as I left at 10 pm.  All together that is 57 minutes of prep and shopping time.  I would venture to say that some folks not using coupons still spend close to that much time making a shopping list of what they need and shopping.

Publix
Total before sales and coupons: $138.99
Total Spent: $48.61
Total Saved: $90.38 or 65%

This included $21 in meat and $7.50 in produce!

I still have my coupons cut for Walgreens, so here’s hoping they have something left in stock tomorrow.
