This week I ran to Rite Aid for the clearance Pampers deal and grabbed a couple things at Kroger when we were there looking for unadvertised deals.  It wasn’t a big week, but we also didn’t have a lot of money in the grocery budget anyway so it was good to take a small rest.

Rite Aid

Total Value: $33.97
Total Spent: $9.97
Total Saved: $24 or 71%

I grabbed two packs of pampers, a CoverGirl powder, and a pack of baby wipes.  I checked out in 3 transactions to use the +UP printed from the diapers and CoverGirl on the next purchase.  I also had coupons for all the products purchased.

Kroger

Total Value: $34.57
Total Spent: $14.80
Total Saved: $19.77 or 57%

This was milk, Ocean Spray juice, some marked down gluten free bread and a fun other small items that were free with coupons.

Jenny….do you ever show your break down and coupons used?

      • I have never seen her list it like that.  Just before and after prices.

      •  Not really.  I just use the lists on the site, so it’s pretty much already spelled out for ya, and I made a promise to my husband a long time ago to not line groceries up and take pictures of them anymore… drove him crazy.

thank you, I do understand…that is why I will be sending my scanner back to NCP. I had to line everything out on the counter and scan all the items, and remember the deals and coupons used. Too much work for me.
I do wonder if you have ever showed a video of your ‘normal’ stockpiles??

NCP? What are you talking about? You have piqued my interest.

I went to my Rite Aid and they did not have the clearance diapers.  They did have some Pantene products, Calgon lotion, and Energizer flashlights on clearance.  I grabbed what I had coupons for and did pretty well.

I made five trips to Publix yesterday, spent $35.30 total and got 38 cans of Progresso soup ($1 off Q), 35 packs of Lifesavers (all free), 4 boxes of Tastykake (75 cent Q), 2 bags of Bugels (BOGO), 1 bag of Chex Mix and 1 bag of Gardettos (BOGO), 1 candy bar (to get my total over $30 one time), 2-6 packs of Propel water (BOGO), 1-5 pound bag of jasmine rice and a 1-1/2 dozen eggs.  The vendor coupons totaled $38, the store coupons totaled $50 and special price savings was $78.04 for a total savings of $166.04.  I was able to use $5 off $30 WD coupons on two of the trips.  It sounds like a lot of shopping, but actually can plan my daily route to go by four of them a day.  Some are more coupon-friendly than others.
