We had a fun week of restocking this week.  I went to Publix and to a local fruit stand for most of the things we needed.  We also focused a bit more on eating from the pantry with simple meals.  For some reason my kids think pancakes for dinner is the best meal ever, and there are definitely nights that I am happy to oblige them!

Publix:
Total before sales and coupons: $81.46
Total Spent: $37.90
Total Saved: $43.56 or 54%

Fruit Stand:
2 lbs of Green beans – $2
1 Watermelon – $3
2 tomatoes – $1
2 Blueberries (pint) – $4

I was actually pretty excited with this week.  After taking a few weeks off we had a larger budget, but there wasn’t much that I wanted on sale.  It was nice to get things we needed on sale, but then save the budget surplus for a better week of sales.
