This week was diaper week!  I knew it was coming so we had budget ready, but we also ate some basic meals so that things weren’t too bad (personally I could eat spaghetti once a week and be happy). We did need some grocery items so we hit Kroger and the mega event first and then went out for diapers.

Kroger:
Total Before Sales and Coupons: $139.96
Total spent: $76.44
Total Saved: $63.52 or 45.4%

This included milk, bread, many of the top mega event items and a lot of produce.  I’m craving fresh fruit lately so it’s a bit pricey, but in terms of cravings it’s not a bad one to have!

Then on to diapers

CVS
Total before sales and coupons: $30.96
Total spent: $19.56
ECB Remaining: $10

I pondered going to Rite Aid and Walgreens too, but just really don’t get back in there to use rewards.  I decided instead to save the $10 ECB and use it on the CVS house brand deal coming next week.
