I had big plans for shopping today, but the weather was so nice that instead I opened all the windows and spent the day cleaning.  There’s something about cool air that just makes me want to declutter and deep clean the whole house (I know I’m slightly crazy).

Thanks to my sweet girls I am very prepped for my trips though, and we will hit both Publix and Kroger in the morning for two little trips (our Publix list only has 10 items on it).  So next week I’ll have shopping trips to share!

On a side note, I’m pretty sure all of my kids learned to cut, by cutting coupons (all already expired of course).

For now it’s your turn to share, how did you do this week?  Leave a comment or a link to your savings post.

Publix total $112 for $45…..my best grocery trip since I started using coupons about 2 months ago!  Some things were on sale and others I just needed.  After loading my groceries on the conveyer belt, I informed the lady behind me that I had quite a few coupons.  She then complained by stating that she has been behind a coupon user for the last 7 trips to Publix.  I just smiled and said if you don’t use coupons, then you should.  When I was finished paying for my groceries and the cashier announced that I had saved $67, I smiled at the lady behind me and said WOW…GREAT SAVINGS.

I did my first ever “extreme” couponing trip this week!  My son drinks V8 Fusion (diet) juice every day, so, with the Publix BOGO and the coupons I and four close friends printed out for me, I bought 40 bottles (about a 5 month supply!) and saved 65%!!  My biggest percentage ever!  Thanks to you for all the good lessons!  :-)

you have such a loving heart, jenny!  It is always apparent by your posts:)  so happy to have found your site–it far surpasses the rest!!!!

Publix had a lot of great deals for me this week.  I usually budget $20-$30 a week there, but I ended up spending $55.  I try to average at the most .99c an item, didn’t get that low this week, but I bought a pork loin, raviolis and the perdue shortcuts.  I averaged $1.11 an item, still not bad.  And that’s all thanks to your site!

Your pic, Jenny, made me smile.  :)  My daughter, 2, likes to “do cu-pons” too.  And anytime I find a blinkie in a store, she needs one too.

Jenny your pic was to cute. My daughter loves to cut coupons too. (expired ones like you said in your post haha). Yesterday it was to cute…she came up to me and said “your cutting more coupons to get free stuff?” and I couldn’t help but laugh :)
