This week I only hit one store, and actually made a video on everything we did to prep and shop for our trip.  We got everything we needed for a Sunday roast, plus some of the top deals in the store this week.  I also left with 25¢ in Fuelperks which is equal to $5 off our next tank of gas, and grabbed items that we submitted for $2.50 in mobile app coupons.  I don’t count those coupons into our total saved though since it will be a while until we get the back.

If you want to what the video head over here.

Bi-Lo Totals:

Total Value purchased: $123.35
Total Spent: $43.57
Total Saved: $79.78 or 65%

Since it’s the end of the month, I’m also happy to report that we came in under budget for the month by $30!  Next month we will be getting a bulk order of meat so this will help pay for that without pushing February over budget.

How did you do this week?  Leave a comment or a link to your savings post.

Just finished my first real CVS trip for a while after getting back into coupons. I did 5 separate transactions, with a value of $138.01. I paid only $44.97. A savings of 67.4%! I also ended with another $2 in ECB for next week, and $1.75 in coupons via Ibotta and SavingStar.

Haven’t seen this in a while. Glad to see it back!

I spent $68 at Publix and saved $119! That’s including 2 boxes of diapers, wipes, cheese, ziploc, mushrooms, bananas, eggs, vitamins, p-nut butter, half-n-half, avocados and plenty of hummus & chips. Thanks Jenny! My goal is to save as much as I spend making it basically 50% off but this was about 70% off-yay! I am also doing better lately at realizing how many I need, what we don’t use much of and sticking to my budget. I wish I could share a picture

I wanted to share a couple of pictures of my Kmart score, but I don’t know how to. I don’t have a link where I put them…they’re on my pc and on my iphone. At any rate, I got Christmas gift sets for 90% off. One that I’m really excited about has a thermal lunch box/bag with chili seasoning and hot sauces…I’ll use the food items for my cooking AND, my son’s lunch boxes keep tearing and such, because they’re old. So, I picked up 3 sets for a total of $6.
I also got 8 reusable gift bags with a cupcake mixes and cupcake decorations for .80 ea. Will use the bags to put gifts in next year, cupcake mixes will go in the pantry rotation and decorations will go in Christmas baking supplies. Plastic popcorn boxes with caramel popcorn will be split up and I’ll use the boxes for homemade flavored popcorns and movie gift cards for family and friends’ birthdays. I also found a camo thermos (I hate camo, but my friend’s son loves it) with a packet of coffee…coffee for me, gift for him. :D Altogether, I spent $16 on a trunk load of gift items that will save BIG $$$!

I would love to know where you get your bulk order of meat from?? Meat has gotten so expensive!

I do my coupons and grocery shopping just like you. I’m not as fast with the list making and cutting, but sticking to the list in the store is a real time saver! Thanks for your site!
