We ran out to Publix this week for some of the top deals they were running.  It wasn’t a huge trip, just enough to get stocked on the sale items we needed.  When you are following sale cycles the goal is that you don’t “need” anything each week, you just watch the sales and grab the items you know you’ll use that are on sale that week.

You can see my shopping list and all the coupons we used.  I grabbed a few of most of the items since the goal is to get enough to last 6 weeks (they won’t be back on sale for about that long).

Publix Totals:

Total Purchase Value: $117.39
Total Spent: $48.12
Total Saved: $69.27

I also had $1.50 back in mobile apps from purchases.

I also couldn’t resist the 3 free tubes of toothpaste at CVS this week!  We paid 17¢ in the store and left with $3 ExtraCare Bucks.  If you aren’t shopping drugstore deals for all your personal care supplies you are missing out on huge savings.  Next week CVS has more free toothpaste as well as free hair care, razors, and candy… it’s time to get started.

How did you do this week?
