This week is my kids favorite grocery shopping week of the year!  Now that it’s November it means that we finally stock up on candy.  I grab a number of bags (many that they don’t see for a while) and am stocked for little bribes — clean up the living room and get a piece of candy — plus ready for Christmas stockings.

I grabbed candy plus a number of other things at Publix this week.  We used a few coupons, but honestly not much compared to last week.  I was still pleased with over 50% savings even with lots of apples, bananas and yogurt in the cart.

Total Value Purchased: $102.27
Total Spent: $50.06
Total Saved: $52.21 or 51%

This was a lot of items that didn’t have coupons like BOGO salads that I love for lunch, and Hefty foil pans for our disposable dishes Thanksgiving.  My goal is always to save 50% even without coupons, so it’s a job well done.

I also ran out to CVS for the Advil deal.  Who doesn’t need completely free Advil??
