I shared earlier this week on a Facebook live that we were out and about grocery shopping at two stores.  It was fun to feel like I had folks tagging along.

We went to Publix and bi-Lo as usual to look for unadvertised deals and I decided to grab items in both stores.  The biggest chunk of my spending was on diapers at Publix.  They have boxes of Huggies diapers for around $11 after coupons (reg. $20).  I don’t need them and probably won’t for a while, but part of saving money is staying ahead of what you need so you can get the big sales and avoid the last minute full price purchases.  We also grabbed my favorite snack Salt & Pepper Cashews that were BOGO this week…  You can see the things we grab and the coupons I used here.

Publix Totals:

Purchase Value: $87.39
Total Spent: $43.14
Total Saved: $44.25 or 51%

This was some fresh produce, diapers and frozen items.

Bi-Lo Totals:

Purchase Value: $69.97
Total Spent: $34.52
Total Saved: $35.45 or 51%

I grabbed the Tide and Cottonelle deals along with a couple of the super cheap deals.  Here’s my actual shopping list with the coupons used.
