We had a huge trip to Publix this week!  It is always fun to see the savings add up, but when you get way over the 50% saved mark it really starts to feel like a game.

Here’s my shopping list with all the deals we got and coupons.  There were a few other write in deals on my printed version, but this gives you a pretty close view of things in the cart.

Publix Totals:
Purchase Value: $286.46
Total Spent: $108.02
Total Saved: $178.44 or 63%

My favorite was the Nivea Lip Gloss that was free on Saturday only.  I rarely shop on Saturday (Wednesday tends to be my grocery day), so it was great to have the deal line up.  I grabbed 8 of them with coupons that were expiring that day and have them tucked away for Christmas stockings.

My goal on most weeks to spend around $50, but we didn’t go grocery shopping last week so we are good.

I also couldn’t resist and ran into Bi-Lo for a few more gift card deals.  If you are going to pay me to buy groceries I just can’t resist.  We did 4 more deals, spending $31 for everything and leaving with $40 in gift cards.  I’m now stocked on lasagna noodles, pasta sauce, chicken broth and canned soup to last a while.  If you haven’t done these deals, please stop reading and go to Bi-Lo!!
