I had the joy of shopping with Fox Carolina this week with a goal of getting most everything for Thanksgiving dinner.  It was a blast and my first live TV moment.  We shopped the entire news hour with them coming back to us throughout the broadcast.  You can watch the grand finale, but I’ll just tell you too.

Bi-Lo:
Total Before Sales and Coupons: $127.72
Total Spent: $20.33
Total Saved: $108.59 or 85%

I also got a $2 off Catalina and $4 off a tank of gas in fuel perks! This was an awesome trip, but it was also very planned to only included some of the best deals that week.  I did have to run out to the store for a few more items to do the rest of our cooking that wasn’t so free.  Have you seen the price of pecans recently??

Publix:
Total Before Sales and Coupons: $39.84
Total Spent: $26.55
Total Saved: $13.69 or 33%

This was pecans, sweet potatoes, squash, cheese, brown sugar and creole seasoning (for the turkey we are frying).
