Did you know that many local pet rescues will let you adopt a pet for a day? This Frugal Date Friday is all about the two of you plus one: a furry friend!

Contact your local pet rescue to see if they offer daily pet adopting. You’ll be able to hang out with a dog or cat for the day while you bond with your spouse over the new challenge of caring for an animal. Plus, if you’ve been thinking about getting a pet, this will be a great way to get your feet wet!

If you already have a pet, see if any puppies or kittens are available. Nothing can de-stress you more than having a cute puppy to play with.
