S'mores For Two Frugal Date IdeaThe chilly weather makes it a perfect night for sweet treat by the fire! We are making s’mores this week for Frugal Date Friday.

You can go here to search for deals on ingredients. If you still have a $2 off Lindt coupon that makes chocolate free, it would be perfect for this.

If you are gluten free like my husband, here is a super easy gluten free s’mores recipe. Don’t worry though, they are still delicious (spoiler alert: you get to use Rice Krispies Treats instead!).

We live out in the country where having a small camp fire isn’t an issue. If you live in the middle of the city you’re going to want a fire pit. I realize fire pits aren’t extremely cheap, but it’s an investment in many fun nights ahead.

Now, if neither of those options work, you can always use the microwave or oven, it just won’t be nearly as much fun!

The great thing about this date night is that you can let the kids participate or make the s’mores after they go to bed. You can even match a batch of homemade hot chocolate to go with them.
