Frugal Date Friday - Southern Savers

This next Frugal Date Friday idea is one of our family’s favorite things to do – Geocaching!

It’s like a real-world treasure hunt and you can either play with the whole family, or just use it as an adventure for a date.

You enter your city or zip code and navigate to the GPS coordinates to find the “treasure.”  You can enter the coordinates into your  GPS device.  We love to go geocaching when we’re in a new city and looking for something to do.  It helps us explore the city with the goal of finding the geocaches (containers).

To learn more about it, visit the geocaching website.

My favorite form of childcare is weeks with family friends to watch the kids.  We’ll go out this week while they watch our kids, and we’ll watch they’re kids next week.  Or, you can take your kids along on this adventure – they’ll love it.

What are your frugal date ideas?
