Frugal Date Friday - Southern SaversThis week for frugal date Friday we are heading to the drive-in movie theater. You can have a 50’s style night of entertainment!

Bring your own popcorn, drinks, and chocolate to make it even more frugal. Many theaters have multiple movies for the price of one ticket. You can go here to search for a drive-in in your area.

In Columbia, my favorite drive-in in theater is The Big Mo. They have great double screenings most weekends and the movies are always new!

If you want to bring the kids along, you can dress them in their pajamas and pick a movie the whole family will love. Some drive-in theaters even have playgrounds for entertainment before the movie!

Keep in mind, you may want to get their early to get a prime spot. Now all you need is a poodle skirt and some atomic fireballs!

What is your favorite drive-in theater memory?
