frugal date night trip to the rodeo

Today for frugal date Friday, we are heading to the rodeo. This is a really fun event for the whole family!

Rodeos have everything from fair rides to cotton candy to games for kids. You can save by purchasing tickets ahead of time. Some even have free admission for kids.

We recently went to the Franklin Rodeo right outside of Nashville. It was a ton of fun for everyone. My personal tip is to have everyone wear good shoes since many rodeos are outdoors.

You can go here to see a list of upcoming rodeos. Please share any rodeos you know of and where they are in the comments below.

On a side note, if you enjoy rodeos, you must read A Thousand Tomorrows by Karen Kingsbury. It’s an absolutely beautiful story.

See more frugal living.
