If you live near Atlanta and are looking for a fun outing this week, take advantage of the “Me & Mommy deal” at the Georgia Aquarium. This deal is only good for this week (3/5-3/8) and tickets must be ordered online.

One adult (mom, dad, or any caregiver) and up to four kids ages 5 and younger can get into the Aquarium for $34.95 + tax. You’ll also get free parking and admission to the AT&T Dolphin Tales show, Deepo’s Undersea 3D Wondershow and Frogs – A Chorus of Colors.

I know this is short notice, so if you can’t make it those dates, here are some other ways to save:

    • And most PINES libraries in Georgia have a family four packets of passes to the Atlanta Zoo that you can use after you watch a short video.  You can also check out passes to Georgia State Parks, as well.

We have annual passes. Worth.every.stinking.penny! We try to go on the weekdays when it’s not at crowded, but even on a crowded weekend, it’s amazing.

I took advantage of the Mommy and Me passes a couple of weeks ago.  We went on a Monday and it was not crowded. It was absolutely worth it.  We had a blast.

    • So, if I buy the tickets, I have to use them by this coming Thursday? Or, can I buy them and use them next week?

THANK YOU JENNY!! My birthday is coming up and we made plans to take my 2.5 year old who will also get to go for free! I know at most restaurants they do some free meal or dessert on your birthday but for those of us trying not to celebrate as much with food, this is a great treat!

I would love to see a post that had more free on your birthday ideas.

FYI, it’s valid ID -or- a copy of your birth certificate. You don’t need both.

If anyone is interested in doing a mystery shop there for 2 free adult tickets, email me.  I did it last year – and thought it was TONS of work, hey at least my kids and husband had fun! LOL  I get emails saying they need more mystery shoppers all the time for the aquarium!  digobear(at)aol(dot)com
