at my cvs they wouldn’t let me use my $5 of $15 unless my pre-coupon total added to that (including my ECBs) Now i am leary of any of those

Call customer service. That is incorrect.

i called customer service and they are not very bright, they said coupons come off in a certain order(which is wrong) first is ECB then MQ’s and then if the total is high enough the CRT’s. Customer service is so bad now with CVS I am SO glad i go to the most coupon friendly CVS in New Hampshire the girls there are the best.

unfortunately yes I think i got a really picky cashier. The other day I did use another $5 off of $15 for the huggies deal and I held back on my ECBs. The person ringing up did not follow any order on my store vs mqs and one of my store q’s didn’t want to scan. i couldn’t understand why but he entered it in manually i think. then he asked if i wanted to use my $5 of $15 that i sent to my card but again it didn’t pop up until he rang up my other q’s. luckily i got a good deal without the ECBs but they do seem to be getting stingy about stuff even if you are following the rules. given that you had to buy something to get the ECB i think it’s wrong to essentially hold them against you
