Hurry over to Google Offers and score a $10 Starbucks gift card for ony $5 today!  It comes as an e-gift card, but can still be used in multiple visits.  Good at any Starbucks location.

This is a limited supply deal and will probably sell out.

    • Thank you for this! I’m always looking for a way to save on Starbucks so I can treat myself :)

    • fletchtr

Thanks.  I will put this card in my daughter’s easter basket.  She loves Starbucks.

    • Boxbot

You can transfer the $10 to an existing card if you want.

    • adrienne

      Dump Starbucks!

    • Kerry72nc

      got one.. thanks!

    • Hjjundt

There is a Starbucks in our area that says they won’t accept this gift certificate.  Not sure what that is about.  But, maybe this needs to be researched???

      • Alyssa L.

Just transfer the money to an existing registered gift card. I already added the $10 to my gold card. :)

    • yuyu

Well, Starbucks in Barns & Noble, at least at Elizabeth town in Kentucky is not run by Starbucks so you can NOT use those cards.

      • Alyssa L.

They don’t accept normal Starbucks gift cards (you can transfer the $10 balance to a gift card)?

    • Michelle

      Thanks!!

    • Bmg38

Call me dumb, but how do you load the $10 onto your card?

      • Stephen_A_K

First you have to register your card on starbucks.com/card (you have to create an account if you do not have one). Then when you have the printable gift certificate you can go to Transfer Funds on your account card page. You will enter the information for the printable gift card and it will load it onto your existing one.

      • Kimberly

It took me a few tries to figure it out, but I finally did.  I kept trying to reload a previously registered card and pay for it with the voucher, but that doesn’t work.  You have to go to your account and click on “add card.”  You add the voucher information as if it’s a new rewards card.  On the voucher, it shows a 16 digit number along with a security code.  Enter these onto the “add card.”  Be sure to leave out the spaces.  Once you’ve added the card, you can then click on “transfer funds” and transfer it from the new “card” you just added to whichever physical card you already have listed on your account.  I hope this helps (and makes sense).  :)

        • Alyssa L.

For future reference, you don’t have to register the new card first via “add card.” Just opt to transfer funds to an existing registered card, enter the information for the new card, and voila!

          • Kdmorgan77

I requested mine to be transferred to my card but can’t tell if it went through.  Are you seeing it listed under your transaction history?

            • Alyssa L.

Yes, it’s reflected as “4/4/2012 Balance Merge 10.00 USD.”  Don’t forget that you have to confirm like 5 times before any transaction goes through. Hope it works! :)

            • Kdmorgan77

Thanks.  I initially asked it to transfer to my card, however, it’s not showing up on my transaction history and now when I go back to Google Offers, it only gives me the print option.  So, I printed it out as a backup, but will keep checking to see if it posts to my card.  It does show that my balance was updated on 4/2 (last time I was in for a drink).

            • Kdmorgan77

Fixed.  Just registered the number as a separate card and now it shows on my account.  Finally!  :)  Thanks for the help.

      • Alyssa L.

Your card needs to be registered.  Sign into the Starbucks Rewards account.  Click on “transfer funds” to a current card (i.e., your registered card).  Enter the card # and pin # for the promotional card and transfer the funds.  (You can do this to transfer money from any new, unregistered gift card to a registered card without having to register the new gift card first.) I was able to transfer the balance to my gold card in less than a minute. Hope this helps.

        • Alyssa L.

Clarification – “your card needs to be registered” means that your existing card (not the promotional $10) needs to be registered.

    • Nurse_cookie

thank you for this.. whoo hoo

    • Sosorozo

Okay, I guess I am stupid. How do I use an e-card at a physical store? I don’t have a fancy phone to bring it up. Anyone?

      • Kleckie

Once you purchase it they will send you an email where you can either print it out or load it to a starbucks card. You shouldn’t have any trouble redeem it it clearly states to use in a store.

        • Sosorozo

Thank you for your reply. :)

        • Sosorozo

Thank you for your reply. :)

    • Natalie Savoie

I went to my local starbucks and was told this offer is only valid on-line. You have to buy something through the website I was told.

      • Jess G.

I just bought the deal through Google Offers and then printed out the e-card. No other purchase was asked of me.

      • Alyssa L.

Nope. I already transferred the $10 to my registered Starbucks card.

    • Foxam

Easily transferred to a registered card!!  So I get my discount too!!

      • guest

        ditto

      • Rlmapes

I did the same thing Foxam.  Hoping this would make it easier to use at the Starbucks located in my Kroger.  Transfer took a minute but went thru.

    • CodgieBlk

I have stopped at 3 Starbucks and they wIll not honor this April 4th offer. Don’t advertise to help American workers if you don’t mean it!! I got different stories from all of them. I even showed it to them on my phone. Don’t Starbucks and google make enough money anyway? How irritating!!!’

      • Jessmdean

Are you trying buy a plastic gift card in store for the promo? It’s only available online in the form of an eGift card.

      • Alyssa L.

Errr? I already put the money on my registered Starbucks gift card. I’m not sure what you’re trying to do, but it sounds like you’re going about it the wrong way.

    • tori729

I bought this and transferred it to my physical card that I registered on Starbucks.com. If you have a regular gift card (you can put $5 on one at the store and then register it), just put the code in to add it to your account and then transfer the money to your actual card.

    • Sosorozo

Can you get family members to buy more than one on another computer and transfer the funds too? I had no problems transferring my funds. Hardest thing was to remember my user name and password. Took several tried!! It’s called getting old!

    • Jessica

I’ve already printed out the ‘redemption’ to have a hard copy to show in store.  Can I still transfer this to an existing starbucks gift card?  I’m concerned people are having a hard time having this deal accepted.  Figures….  I never buy these types of deals, and the one I did is a bum deal?  Has anyone been able to use it successfully?

      • Alyssa L.

Yes, you can. All you need to do to transfer it to an existing card is have the information for it and enter it on the website. The hard copy of the redemption you printed has all the information you need to transfer the balance.

    • Ashlie

I purchased this deal and transferred it to my Starbucks Gold card! Thanks!!!!
